Dunder Mixin is Northeast PA's newest addition to the Wedding Entertainment scene! Hello! I am the owner Nick Sommons (aka NickNyce), and I have had the pleasure to be a part of over 700+ events in the NEPA area. I am still in my first year of business and have been BLOWN AWAY by the community's response. I am back at this profession full time and am ready to train more DJs, improve our offerings, and make your wedding unforgettable! Rest assured, you will receive my full undivided attention, answers to all your questions, and a perfect night with a bucketful of memories! Music is powerful! When it comes to weddings, we do not leave it up to chance, and neither should you! We provide samples of mixing music and are currently growing our social media platforms to show exactly what we can do for your wedding day. If requested upon inquiry, we will create any, and we mean ANY, mini mix of genre or mashup of songs! This is to show you our dedication to your special day! We set up Zoom calls with myself (sometimes involving JT & Matt), so you can meet with us and get a feel if we are a fit for your wedding day. Chemistry is critical, and when booked with us we take it seriously. Your final appointment to confirm wedding day details is often discussed with coffee on us! That way when you see us on your wedding day, we are already fast friends...not some DJ you booked. Our approach to planning is collaborative and takes place online and in person. We discuss your vision and vibe from start to finish and ask questions along the way. We aim to finalize planning a month before your wedding. Of course, any and all last-minute changes may happen; we pride ourselves on flexibility! Our collaborative process ensures that you're involved every step of the way and gives you peace of mind that you and your DJ are on the same page. We booked with Dunder Mixin for our high school’s homecoming dance, and had an AMAZING experience!! Nick was extremely helpful and invested in the planning process, and made sure that our must-play songs were scheduled into the lineup on the night of the dance. Our DJ, JT, was AWESOME and knew exactly how to read the room. It’s definitely a difficult task to get a crowd of teenagers super pumped and excited about the music being played at a school dance, but JT more than exceeded! I only have good things to say about planning with Dunder Mixin, and I have only received extremely positive feedback about the DJ from students who attended the homecoming dance! For such a reasonable price and such a great staff of people, I cannot recommend Dunder Mixin enough!!!

Dunder Mixin (Nick) was an absolutely amazing DJ! He was excellent at communication, very knowledgeable, and was very accommodating to our vision for our reception. He was full of energy and excitement and kept us on track throughout our event with flawless timing. So many of our guests raved about how great he was and how much fun they had, and we couldn't agree more. We would hands down recommend Dunder Mixin to anyone looking for an awesome DJ for their event.

Nick was extremely pleasant, accommodating, and helpful. He asked a lot of questions to get a sense for what we wanted for our wedding, and carried it out to perfection! He was professional and kind, and I can’t recommend him enough.

Nick was great! We had a great initial meeting where he went over everything from who was in the wedding to party to must-play songs. And the wedding itself was amazing: there was great energy, great uplighting, and everyone danced. 11/10, great DJ!

Nick was incredible!! He is so good at what he does. He reached out to me ahead of time and took account of every name in the wedding party to announce and how to pronounce them. He asked us what songs were a must play and was very organized in giving us exactly what we wanted. He got the party going immediately and that was exactly what we wanted. He played songs that kept everyone on the dance floor and we sincerely had a blast. That is one of our favorite memories of our day was that our dance floor was a party and we owe a lot of that to Nick! He gave us top notch service and was a joy to work with. Thank you so much again, Nick! We would hire you again in a heartbeat!

I cannot say enough about how wonderful of an experience it was to have Nick DJ my brother’s wedding! As part of the bridal party, having him run everything made for such a smooth experience from ceremony to reception. The entire ceremony went off without a hitch and we transitioned easily from cocktail hour to the reception. At the reception, my brother and sister in law were hoping everyone would have such a good time on the dance floor that they’d never want to leave it. That’s exactly what happened! I checked my Fitbit after our time at the venue was over and it had recorded about a two and a half hour aerobic exercise activity. That represented how much time we spent on a packed dance floor, only taking small breaks for drinks and cake. At no point did the energy wane, Nick was great with reading the room. He handed out glow sticks and other fun props too! The playlist for the reception was great and he took special requests as well. One of the attendees of the wedding is a musician so when Nick played one of his songs, the room went wild! It was truly a night none of the guests wanted to end. Highly recommend!!
