Dunham's Bay Resort

We knew as soon as we met Lynn that Dunham’s Bay REsort was where we wanted to get married. She took the time to get to know us and led the way in creating exactly what we wanted our wedding to be. Combine her knowledge and skills with the excellent food and you end up with nothing short of perfection! While we did not get the wedding in the woods as originally planned thank to the weather not cooperating, we had a beautiful ceremony at our back up indoor location onsite with a great view of the lake and a party in the tent afterwards that provided us and our guests with nothing but the absolute best memories! Thank you Lynn and all the staff at Dunham’s Bay Resort for making our wedding even better than we had imagined!!

I can't even to begin to describe how amazing our wedding at Dunham's was and that can be accredited to Lynn and her staff. I knew from our very first visit with Lynn as we were looking for a venue we found our location. The first question she asked us was "what's most important to you on your wedding day." It totally took me off guard because organizers at other venues barely spoke to us beyond going through menus and prices. I could tell right then and there that her attention to detail and passion for what she did was what was going to make this the wedding of our dreams. When it came to the big day, Lynn and her team did everything. Checked in during the day as we got ready to make sure her staff had everything set up, helped the flow of guests from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception to even decorating our room beautifully before we made our way back to our cabin at the end of the night.. literally everything above and beyond. I tend to be a worry wart and was worried that there were going to be hiccups because I didn't think of everything but nope. There was none of that. The only thing I had to worry about was having fun! It was worth every single penny. If you are considering Dunham's Bay, I 10000% encourage you to choose it!

Absolutely perfect for fall weddings. Great view of the lake during ceremony (front patio). They offer several locations for ceremony and reception. Lynn is beyond fabulous and was able to pull the ideas in my mind and make them a reality. Could not have been more perfect. Food is outstanding, staff is so friendly and helpful.

I really cannot say enough about the experience that Dunhams Bay gave us on our wedding day. We live about 5 hours away and despite the distance it really could not have been easier. There are so many wonderful venue options around the lake but Dunhams Bay had the feel we were looking for. Lynn is amazing. She's always had prompt answers to my many long emails throughout planning. We were dodging the weather pretty much the entire day but she was great at doing everything she could to get us our lakeside ceremony. She and the staff did a perfect job at arranging all of our details in creative ways that turned things that we had be working on for months into surprises throughout the day. During the cocktail hour she brought us our own set of appetizers and drinks to enjoy quietly together before joining our guests at the pool. Everything operated so smoothly we didn't have to worry about anything else but enjoying our celebration. any cards that were given to us by guests during the reception we're promptly and safely placed in our cabin. The staff was great at making sure that we were eating and well beverage throughout visiting our guests. The food was AMAZING. Doug and I couldn't pick just one of our three options and asked if we could have a medley of all three. Best decision. We even got to eat most of it. The dessert bar and brownie tower were delicious. Lynn coordinated with the dj to play just beyond our allotted time for the rain to pass before our sparkler exit. Our guests enjoyed the fire pit and s'mores afterwards (and the night after). The accommodations aren't fancy but clean and very comfortable. We loved planning our wedding with Dunhams Bay and Lynn and all the the things they did above and beyond to make it amazingly special.

We had our wedding here on October 15. Lynn and her staff went above and beyond for us and our guests!. She was very attentive about our needs from our very first meeting, and made sure we could just relax and enjoy our day. They made sure our guests were taken care of the morning after the wedding and were on hand to make sure everything ran smoothly until the last guest turned in for the night after the bonfire. We couldn't have done it without her!

Great team, great view, great location! Lynn the planner makes everything easy. Chef is amazing people havent stopped talking about the food. Great atmosphere you are the only wedding. The fire pit and cabins are great to keep the party going. We even did breakfast it was a perfect weekend!

If you are looking for the perfect wedding venue Dunham's Bay is the place! Lynn and the entire staff at Dunham's are the absolute best! They work with you on your budget which is a huge plus! My wedding day at Dunham's was perfect!

Beautiful setting, helpful staff, every detail was taken care of and all items returned to us immediately. Cant say enough good things!

When my husband and I first got engaged, we searched many places, and finally decided to have our wedding at Dunham's Bay. We decided to go with Dunham's bay because they were very accommodating and friendly. They were like this up until they received the final payment. And everything changed. The women who was handling our wedding, Lynn, was very snobby to me, my bridal party, my mother, the photographer and other guests. When we asked her or the other people working there for help, they gave us attitude. We arrived Friday afternoon, and left Sunday ( the wedding was Saturday) and From the moment we arrived, we did not feel like we were getting treated with respect. "Hidden" Costs that we were never told about from the beginning, were suddenly popping up. I.E a $500 fee for a dance floor that we were never told about. A $300 ceremony fee that we were never told about, nor were in our contract with them anywhere. we were told that we could go across the street to take pictures, and on the actual wedding day. We could not get over there because the actual owner of the property would yell and scream at people. There is a fee to have the wedding ceremony across the street on a property that Dunham's Bay does not own. They advertise that they have a great lake front view, which they do, but they don't own it. In one of our initial meetings with Dunham's Bay, they said that they do a bon fire after the wedding. Which is true, But Dunham's bay staff sits with you at the fire until you go to bed. Watching every move you make. They only give you enough fire wood for "5 hours" Which would be fine, if they didn't start the fire before the wedding was actually over, and have a huge pit to fill. Overall as the bride, I was very disappointed with the service we got from Dunham's bay Staff. We had a beautiful wedding, and everything worked out, but the BITCHY staff, made for an unfavorable time. We will not be returning to Dunham's bay for our one year anniversary, nor would I recommend Dunham's bay .

Dunham's Bay made our wedding perfect. The weather wasnt the greatest but no matter what anyone said, Lynn and her team made our dreams and wishes come true. They were there with us every step of the way and everything was better than we had planned. Wouldnt have gone anywhere else. Plus we nights stay there and extremely affortable.

Everything was just beautiful and well taken care of. It was like I had a wedding planner right at the sight. They followed my every specific detail to the end. I can't say enough good thing about Dunham's Bay.
