We had the absolute pleasure of working with Duvall Catering and Events for our wedding at Legare Waring House on April 25, 2025, and we cannot recommend them highly enough for the...
ir full-service catering and floral design!
From our very first conversations to the final execution, the creativity, vision, and care that Alicia on the catering side and Ashlyn on the floral and decor side poured into our day were evident in every detail.
We were admittedly indecisive at times, but Alicia and her team were so patient with us. They graciously organized multiple tastings, responded to countless emails and phone calls, and worked closely with us to craft the perfect menu and timeline. From cocktail hour to late-night snacks, every bite was beautifully presented, perfectly timed, and incredibly delicious. The passed hors d’oeuvres were a major hit, the buffet line inside the house flowed seamlessly, and the drinks during cocktail hour were served swiftly and with charm. Our guests are still raving about the food and how smooth and well-paced everything felt!
Just as importantly, the service was outstanding. The bartenders and staff were professional, attentive, and warm, helping to create a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that let us and our guests fully enjoy the celebration.
On the design side, Ashlyn took our vision and made it even more stunning than we could have imagined. The florals completely transformed the spaces and turned the day into the whimsical, romantic secret garden we had dreamed of. The ceremony arch, the floral arrangement on the fountain, and the lush greenery draping throughout the venue left everyone in awe—ourselves included! We’ve received so many compliments on how breathtaking everything looked, and seeing that vision—eighteen months in the making—come to life was more emotional and joyful than we ever expected.
We’re so grateful for Alicia, Ashlyn, and the entire Duvall team for bringing our vision to life and taking such good care of us and our guests. Truly a 10/10 experience!
As a wedding planner with Complete Weddings + Events, I had the pleasure of working with Duvall Catering & Events, and they were truly incredible to partner with.
From a vendor pe...
rspective, having one team handle catering, bar, florals, décor, and rentals made everything so seamless. Their communication was clear, their team was organized, and they were extremely professional throughout the entire event.
Erin and Jay on the catering side were fantastic. Everything ran efficiently, the food was beautifully presented, and service was smooth from start to finish. Wendy and Julie on the floral and décor team absolutely brought the vision to life. Everything felt elevated, cohesive, and thoughtfully designed.
They also handled all décor setup and breakdown incredibly fast, especially with a very tight setup window. Truly like ninjas. That level of efficiency made a huge difference in keeping the day on schedule.
Everything came together seamlessly with their rental partner, EventWorks, and the overall look was polished and intentional.
I would happily work with this team again and highly recommend them to both couples and fellow vendors.

Alicia is who I worked with for quotes and the tasting and she is a gem, so easy to work with and very responsive. The crew on the day of the wedding day.... omg they were seriously incredible. So kind and brought the best vibes. They were treating our guests like family and it was incredible. From the food to the open bar and espresso martini hour, Duvall never skipped a beat. Thank you Duvall for making our wedding day perfect.
We had a wonderful wedding catered by Duvall on 10/4/2025. We were at the Thomas Bennett house and Duvall is the preferred caterer for this venue. People were and still have been r...
aving about the food. We were able to get allergy dishes - although we did have one guest have an allergic reaction to the eggplant dish as it had shaved and invisible nuts on it and he was told that it was nut-free, although it was not. Overall, the food was fresh and hot and always ready for guests as we did a station style dinner. My dad particularly loved how fresh and tender the beef tenderloin was throughout the dinner service. I would recommend but just double triple check the allergies for each dish!

We served a plated dinner with two entree options (chicken & salmon) and both were delicious. The taste and presentation matched what we experienced during our tasting. Emma was wonderful to work with. She was always accommodating and very responsive answering all of our questions. 100% recommend Duvall for any events!

d and we enjoyed leftovers for days after the wedding! Erin gave us so much flexibility in our choices and was very accommodating when we had less guests than originally anticipated. The bar team was also top notch and made a great cosmo! We never had an empty plate or glass the whole night. We cannot thank Duvall and the team enough for helping us to have the best day of our lives!

for our wedding on Saturday. (Our wedding venue provided their own catering or we would have used Duvall both nights!) The food Friday night was delicious! Our entire menu was gluten free to accommodate my MOH and they did it flawlessly. Emma was so easy to work with and incredibly kind and wonderful through the whole process. I worked with Ashlyn on the décor and flowers for the wedding ceremony and reception. She was great! She took my vision for colors, etc. and made it all come to life. Everything was perfect for the wedding!! The flowers were exactly what I had envisioned, maybe even better than what I could have imagined. I was blown away! I've also worked with Duvall professionally and no matter the event, they always execute it with the upmost professionalism, creativity, and efficiency. They are truly a top-notch vendor to work with!! The entire wedding weekend was everything we could have hoped for, and so much of that is owed to Duvall and their incredible team!!
Alicia and her team were fantastic. The level of professionalism, kindness, preparedness, and experience was something we will never forget and cannot be more grateful for. The a...
mount of people that raved about the food (cheese tortellini, shrimp and grits, and the carving station) was hard to keep track of. We even Lost power an hour before our wedding and Alicia's team was able to adjust and still provide excellent food and service. My family was amazed at how calm my now wife and I were when we lost power. I think this speaks volumes to how cool, calm, and collected the catering staff was and the confidence we had in them to still provide an excellent service.
We worked with Duvall for our wedding and we could not recommend them more! The food was incredible and all the staff we worked with were so friendly and accommodating.

Duvall Catering is a top notch catering company! This past weekend I hosted a rehearsal cocktail hour and seated/plated dinner for my son and his fiance . We hosted the event at...
a private home and the team from Duvall created a fabulous filet and chilean sea bass dinner menu for us that was on par with a 5 star restaurant. The food was perfectly prepared and served . Everyone raved for the rest of the weekend about the quality and taste of everything from the appetizers to the desserts. Shout out to our chef James and team captain Grady. They and their team were efficient, friendly and extremely professional. Being from out of town and hosting such an important meal / event it's difficult to find the right team that meets your expectations and works within your budget. Duvall Catering from the start with my inside sales liaison Leigh Ann to the team that arrived exceeded my expectations . If you are hosting a special event and need a team you can trust and food that your guests will rave about , look no further! Duvall is the whole package!!!!
I don't even know where we can begin to thank the entire Duvall team. Everything that they did for our wedding day was absolutely perfect, and they made it so easy for us to plan a...
nd our entire event (extremely quick and efficient communication). And everything was executed flawlessly! The day of team was so incredibly lovely, kind and gracious. Donald was our day of event lead and he was absolutely wonderful. The service was some of the best that we have experienced and I know our guests feel the same based on the glowing feedback that we have received!
All of the details were perfect--the food (our funfetti flavored wedding cake was a HUGE hit with our guests and we highly recommend!) and all of the florals were exactly what we had pictured! I felt so relaxed with planning our catering and floral details because Duvall made it so easy--anything we asked for, they could make it happen! I honestly don't think there was anything that we could have done differently regarding the specific details--everything was incredible. We absolutely loved that they had to go portions of the food for us to enjoy after our wedding! Their entire team are truly hospitality experts and we feel so fortunate that they were part of our special day.
We cannot share enough our sincere gratitude to the entire Duvall team! You made our vision come to life and we will be forever grateful as we look back and remember our perfect wedding day! Special shout out to Alicia and Ashlyn who were our primary contacts for planning--you are both amazing!

Every person we came into contact with at Duvall was kind, professional, and very responsive. There were 3 people we worked with the most who made us feel special and taken care of...
throughout the entire process.
Emma was an absolute Rockstar! She helped us create an amazing menu for our guests, worked with us on the small details, and coordinated with our wedding planner towards the end to let us soak in the last few weeks prior to the wedding.
Ashlyn has such an eye for detail and we thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with her on draping, lighting, and greenery for several chandeliers. We are so glad we did the décor through Duvall because it truly transformed our reception space.
Lastly, we want to give a huge shout out to James and his team for all their hard work the day of. James is an impeccable chef, but he really outdid himself at our wedding! If we could travel back in time to have the duck entrée again we definitely would.
All in all you can't go wrong with Duvall whether it is for catering, décor, or florals. We would work with them again in a heartbeat!

sting, and asked them to bake my cake as well as provide the food and honestly I could not imagine a better experience with a caterer - easy to work with, everything was planned ~4-5 months prior to the wedding and they asked all the questions I would never have thought of. Also my cake was DELICIOUS!
They did not follow through with the small details that I was told they would do ! I expected more after the tasting and meeting and many conversations !!

The night of the wedding, the food remained incredible, and the drinks were delicious! The wait staff was eager to help, and assisted every guest. The bride and groom also always had a drink in their hand! Alicia was so great to work with and coordinate especially as this was a destination wedding for us!

mediately captured our attention with their menu selections, customizability, and their amazing customer service. In the planning process, Leigh Ann was extremely kind and went out of her way to answer all my questions, to accommodate all my requests, and helped me make sure everything fit in our budget . On the day of the wedding, the staff was timely, professional, clean, and the food was absolutely delicious!! We chose to offer the mash potato bar as one of our stations and it was a huge hit with our guests!:) My husband and I really enjoyed working with Duvall Catering during our wedding planning process and highly recommend their services!

h and some discussion with our planner, we decided to book Duvall for our provided meal & they did not disappoint. For our wedding we chose passed hors d'oeuvres, an entrée selection of fish, filet mignon or chicken and multiple mini desserts for a sweet treat. All of the food selections were just as delicious at our tasting as they were on the wedding day. So many of our guests told us they loved the food, that it was top notch, delicious and even phenomenal, which just solidified the fact that going with Duvall was a great decision.

Thank you all sooooo much!

hile making sure our guests had a great experience and delicious options throughout the evening. I’m so glad I trusted them for floral. We worked with Kasey and she put together options that worked with our budget and were beautiful and vibrant like we wanted!
Everyone on their team was so detail-oriented and great to work with - from the bartenders that made sure our guests were having a great time (no watered down drinks here!), to Emma, the catering manager who gave us delicious food recommendations, and made sure everything ran smoothly. Even with a surprise thunderstorm, they quickly sprang into action to adjust the table decor and switch the bar to inside (serving drinks as soon as they could). I can’t recommend Duvall enough!!
All I can say is....WOW. I had the pleasure of working with Ashley and Ashlyn for my wedding on 4/07 and I still have guests raving to me about it. They were both extremely patient...
and kind as I tend to be on the indecisive side haha. Something I appreciated was that they always worked WITH me, making sure that it was everything that I wanted, within my budget, etc... Never did I feel pressured to choose something or pick something specific.
Duvall did our catering as well as florals, decor, and bar.
The flowers were breathtaking and exactly what I envisioned. The decor was... STUNNING. I showed them some inspo pics and they made it happen! Their food was delicious and my favorite were the hors'doeuvres YUM. We had speciality cocktails (made in batch) that were also perfect. I've actually worked with their staff before at other weddings and they are always a hoot and so nice to work with. A few of them recognized me and they were just so sweet! I truly can't say enough great things about Duvall. Everything looked and tasted absolutely amazing. The day was just perfect. It was surreal to see my vision brought to life. Thank you so so much for making our big day just magical.

s wedding and it was just perfect. Duvall had the added challenge of providing a fusion menu of southern and Indian cuisine, and Abbey worked hard with the chef to come up with appetizers and dinner items until I was happy with the menu. Living in Charleston, finding Indian food was my biggest challenge I was almost on the verge of having to bring food from outside the state which was going to cost a lot in order to fulfill another company’s minimum order as well as travel costs. Duvall hands down, saved me. The day of the tasting, I was in tears at how well they had done with the Indian food (the Southern food was also incredible), but it just meant a lot to me the lengths they went to for me. And then wedding day---Duvall was incredibly helpful and helped run my reception like a dream. My husband and I are also very grateful for the extra food they packed for us! Our guests are still talking about how good the food was. What I most appreciated about Duvall is that no question was a stupid question, and I wasn’t meant to feel like a burden or that I was asking for anything extra, as at the end of the day, all I wanted was for my guests to be happy and have a good time. Thank you so much for making our wedding day so incredible.
Amazing food and great service!
First let me say, I never leave reviews so just this posting is unique for me, but I have to say I LOVE this company and specifically Ashlyn Moylan, she was absolutely AMAZING!

he brought our dreams to life!! Her attention to detail, vision, and patience with us was spectacular… and she pulled off an event to remember for a life time. It was absolutely stunning, just stunning.
I will admit, I was not the easiest client to work with either because with COVID delays- it took almost 3 years to get our event off the ground. And because of COVID I had time to change my mind again and again. But never once did I feel rushed or pushed in anyway. I simply can not say enough about her.
If you want something done right, absolutely call Ashlyn and Duvall. Catering, decorations, decor, vision, etc,
Huge thumbs up- you guys are amazing! Thank you!!
Duvall has definitely made this experience a great one. They had a huge selection of entrees, apps, and desserts. My guests loved the dessert display and enjoyed the whole hog. The...
sushi was great. Everything was delicious minus the saffron rice. We were also bummed to find out the day of that they had switched our fall vegetables for something else, but we weren’t terribly mad about it. Just wished we would’ve known ahead of time. Overall, the communication, the experience, the servers, and bartenders was great. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating! Thank you again so much!
We worked with Duvall events using both their catering and floral/decor services for our wedding. When I reached out to them about our options, they were incredibly responsive and ...
flexible with what we were looking for.
Alicia assisted us with creating a menu and answered any questions we had about pricing, food packages, and what would work best together. The food was so on point, our guests are still raving about the food to this day. Recommendation: Their mac and cheese was phenomenal and I highly recommend it. The hors d'oeuvres were delicious (arancini rice balls, fried green tomatoes, bacon-wrapped scallops, and chicken and waffle bites).
What's also great about Duvall is that they are a one-stop shop for all of your event needs, so we were also able to use their floral and decor services as well. Shout out to Kasey and the floral and decor crew for making our wedding look so elegant and spot on. They were quick to set up and quick to break down at the end of the night without any issues.
I didn't have an ounce of stress because Duvall assured me that everything was taken care of—and it totally was. The staff was attentive, polite, and professional.
When you hire them, you'll know why they are dubbed the best in the business here in Charleston. Thank you to everyone at Duvall who made our day so wonderful.
We got so many compliments on the food and they customized to fit our needs! They had to build a kitchen onsite and everything went seamlessly!
SO GOOD!
The food was phenomenal, service unbelievably good, and staff were a pleasure to work with.
I wasn't able to make it out to do a tasting before the wedding but I didn'...
t need to. The steak and crab duet course was delicious, the sides were excellent, and salad was amazing!!
The made sure my husband and I got to taste the appetizers (which I HIGHLY recommend you do if possible) and they made sure to cater to us.
10/10!!!
Our experience with Alicia and Caitlin at Duvall Catering was such a delight from beginning to end. Alicia was our main point of contact and her organized professionalism was impre...
ssive at every step of the process. She worked with us to create a menu that was not only insanely delicious, but also perfectly tailored to our personal tastes and budget. We felt valued and attended to from the first email, the tasting appointment, and the wedding day itself. Our guests raved about our food and the service was outstanding.
Caitlin was the main person who handled our wedding day service and she made us feel like VIPs. Her attention to our needs began at bringing us our own board of hors dourves to enjoy while everyone else was at cocktail hour. She was so attentive and her staff made sure to check on us to get us more food or drinks throughout the night. We didn’t have to lift a finger all night.
I couldn’t be more grateful for the amazing service and delicious food we received. Our wedding was all the more memorable because of Duvall. Thanks Alicia and Caitlin 💖

ience. The plates were beautiful, and my guests kept commenting on how their entrée was "the best steak they've ever had." We also created a custom cocktail named after my cat, which was so popular that they ran out by the end of the night. I cannot believe how perfectly everything was prepared in my venue, despite there being a smaller prep area, and the caterers needing a mobile kitchen. I highly recommend Duvall Catering to any Lowcountry bride!

last minute changes. We chose 3 small plate stations and it gave our guests a chance to taste all of our favorites! The food was absolutely delicious and HOT. My husband's father is a master chef and he loved ALL of it. As far as the service goes, our guests are still talking about how accommodating the staff was. It was pouring rain during dinner and the staff were still so nice and happy to help even while getting drenched walking back and fourth to the kitchen. The bartenders were also a huge hit! I can't recommend Duvall enough if you're looking for top notch food and bev for your wedding!
