Victoria and her team were invaluable in planning our six-event Indian-American fusion wedding, which included both Hindu and American ceremonies—all while we were planning from two time zones away. She helped us stay on track with our timeline and budget and connected us with incredible vendors who truly brought our vision to life. The wedding events went off perfectly from the vendor perspective, but when unforeseen issues arose (as they often do), she was very calm and successfully managed them with minimal impact to the schedule. She managed everything so smoothly behind the scenes that our guests had no idea anything had gone off track! Victoria made such a complex wedding feel manageable and kept the planning process fun along the way. One of our friends is already working with her because of our amazing experience, and we wholeheartedly recommend DVS Events to anyone looking for an experienced, organized, and thoughtful wedding planner!

When we first met Victoria, we were worried about trusting someone to manage our big fat Punjabi wedding. Within the first meeting, we realized we were dealing with someone who knew her stuff, impressing us with her knowledge of the culture, traditions, and with examples of weddings she had done in the past. 
Working with Victoria was a breeze, she was very organized, and was responsive to our questions as we were getting started out. We had a longer planning process (1.5 years), and she kept us on track of what things we needed to secure ASAP, and what could wait. We ended up using her recommendations for the majority of our vendors, all of whom were incredible, and you could tell they really enjoy working with Victoria as well, going the extra mile for us over and over. The planning process was smooth, with regular check ins and calls to make sure we were all on the same page. She did a good job of trying to save money and time wherever she could, and always gave us multiple options for vendors to compare prices. We didn’t have any last minute panic situations or misses, which is rare for 5 days of events. As we got closer to the wedding week, we spoke much more regularly, and she was always quick to respond in our group chat which made things really easy. 
As smooth as the planning was, the true testament is to the DVS team on the ground, who made all of our events go so smoothly. We managed to stay on our timeline for the entire week, and that was thanks to Victoria and her team wrangling our families and guests to where they needed to be. They were cool and calm under stress, which was a huge help to us navigating a week full of wedding events. Victoria was always there to check in on us, made sure we had food and drinks, handle our gift boxes, on top of making sure all the vendors were doing their jobs. I was most impressed with Victoria when it came to our wedding. The night before, she was up with us at 11PM, double checking the logistics for the day, and getting on the same page with us. We had the wedding at the Palmer House downtown, which is not the easiest hotel to navigate. Everything went without a hitch, with everything staying perfectly on time. So many of our guests approached us the next day, singing Victoria’s praises, and telling us about how she was running around handling business without us even knowing. Our wedding was a dream come true, and I really attribute it to the DVS team. I am admittedly a bit of a Type A personality, and a stickler for details and thinking through every possibility when it comes to event planning. Victoria rose to that occasion, and made me feel at ease that I could trust her to prioritize what was important to us. I can’t speak highly enough about Victoria and DVS. If you are able to work with them it will be one of the smartest decisions you will ever make, a review will never do them justice.
