Dynamic Reflections Videography

We paid and lost a deposit to Brian with Dynamic Reflections Videography. We ended up firing him 2 weeks before the wedding. As a "super planner", this was a very hard decision for me. Let me explain why I did this: Pros: 1. Seems talented Cons: 1. Does not meet clients in person and refuses to send sample DVDs for viewing to get a feel for his videography style 2. Asked my husband and I TWICE to front him the entire balance of our contract months before the wedding 3. DOES NOT cooperate and work with clients on their "video vision". Repeatedly says he's the professional and knows what he's doing. Actually said, and I quote, "I can't promise I will shoot it exactly the way you want it." 4. Actually sent me a facebook message with the subject line 'wtf' -we all know what that stands for- and said things such as "You can get an attitude & be pissy with me all you want, but your email has been low on my priority list today." and "Now, havning said that, it would be best that I remove you from Facebook" My husband and I found Brian to be VERY childish, unprofessional, inflexible with clients, & made me very uncomfortable. I am a very detailed bride & I ask a TON of questions, sometimes more than once. But I feel like that's OK as this is an important event & we would be paying him a lot of money. I never once was rude, so when he said those things to me, I decided that it would be best to no longer work with him. Be very cautious of this vendor!!! The biggest disappoint by far was that our beautiful day wasn't captured because this vendor failed to even show up. I had booked the custom package with him months in advance. I had sent him $150.00 deposit to secure the date. He was affordable but obviously not reliable. He was the only vendor I forgot to "remind" the week of...which I didn't think was necessary as my check had already cleared. Soooooo disappointing. Those memories in that moment that I wanted captured are now only in our hearts and not any video. I guess you get what you pay for...I thought he was cheap but cheap isn't always good if they don't show up! Good luck to anyone else brave enough to hire him!
