Very professional! DJ Joe was amazing and one of our favorite vendors! I knew from the day I booked him that he’ll be amazing. He’s very affordable considering the things included in the package (uplights, dance lights, TVs with personalized photos, microphone, etc). Music selection and planning was easily done through their website. We had our ceremony outdoor and our reception indoor. I loved that he had a different set up for the ceremony and the music was loud enough for everyone to hear as well as our vows (I had been to other weddings and people can barely hear the bridal procession music and the vows). The only down side was that we got to discuss the event during the week of and I didn’t know I can show photos through the TV and didn’t have enough time to compile them. Nonetheless, my husband and I were very impressed of his professionalism! Definitely consider him for your event! -Walt & Bianca

Joe with Dynamite DJ's was an amazing vendor to work with. From prompt email replies, easy online forms to fill out song requests, and last minute changes on my end, Dynamite DJ's checked every box. The music and lights were great, and my guests had a wonderful time dancing. Joe even added fun sound effects during toasts and worked with my coordinator to make sure the night ran smoothly. I'd recommend this company to anyone!

I let my husband pick the DJ since it was something easy to do and he majored in music in college and has experience setting up sound equipment for major artists. The first time that I really talked with Joe was the Wednesday before our Saturday wedding. I really didn’t get good vibes then, but what could I do? I’ve listed out some of the good and bad things about our wedding experience because Joe did do some things well, but the negatives REALLY came close to ruining my wedding. Pros: ~The offering of special sound equipment for our cavernous venue ~Uplighting included in the price as well as screens for displaying monograms or slideshows ~Very affordable - $900 is quite good for a wedding DJ ~Joe was great at keeping the timeline going ~When the PowerPoints would not play due to IT issues at the Science Museum, Joe did attempt to extract the photos and play them on his set of screens Cons: ~There were issues with the Science Museum playing Powerpoints that we created. Joe looked right at me and said, "You should have sent me the Powerpoint" with a condescending tone and smirk. ~He did not play songs that I specifically requested, including our outro song. It was something special that my husband and I had picked. ~All of the other vendors came up to us to say congrats and the standard things, but he was nowhere to be found (this is likely due to the death stare I gave him when I heard about the issue below, but it's still courteous). ~The worst thing that happened is below: My mother had called Joe to discuss playing specific special songs that were to be a surprise to me. This did not go according to plan whatsoever. When my mom approached Joe, she was upset (and understandably probably a little nasty). Words ensued and she started crying. He approached me basically to complain about my mother and ask me what I wanted him to do. He told me that he told my mother to email him whatever it was that she wanted and that she didn't. On my wedding day. While I was walking around greeting guests. How unprofessional. On top of talking to me about my mother, he complained that my guests weren't dancing. Who does that? Here I am trying to enjoy my wedding and he wants to come and tell me what is going on. To make matters worse, he went to my mother (a separate interaction) and told her "I do 60 weddings a year and how you expect for me to remember what we talked about is beyond me" and that he was driving when they talked. Here is the thing, my mother can be a handful but all he would have had to say is, "I am so sorry what can I do to fix it." It's basic customer service tactics. If you work in a high-stress environment you need to be able to deal with things in a professional and courteous manner. This all played out and I watched my mom cry at her table instead of enjoying my wedding. ~When approached by my cousin regarding a specific song that she knew that I liked, he said, "no one is going to dance to this song" and didn't want to play it despite her specifying that it was for me. In fact, it wasn't until my cousin went to Joe and started suggesting music that people started dancing. It wasn’t that the crowd wasn't a "dancing crowd", the music just wasn’t good. A good DJ can read crowds and adapt what they play accordingly. Unfortunately, the poor DJ experience really put a damper on my wedding reception. Book at your discretion.

We HIGHLY recommend DJ Joe!!! He was one of our best wedding vendor choices. His communication before the wedding was EXCELLENT. He responded almost immediately to our messages and would message us with additional ideas on how to enhance our reception. For instance, he converted our wedding invite into the TV display. We didn't have a formal wedding coordinator, and as an emcee he handled all of the transitions including calling tables to the buffet. He went way above and beyond the duties of a typical DJ and at a more reasonable price than most other DJs we looked into. The song portal he sends you makes it easy to make recommendations, and he did a nice job weaving in our recommendations as well as songs he knows gets the crowd going (he has a lot of experience). Our dance floor was described as "electric" ;) and we are so thankful. He is personable and professional. You will not regret booking him!!

Joe was professional and knew how to entertain the crowd. I asked him for a very complicated music selection. I am from Bulgaria so he has to play Bulgarian songs that he had to find and cut off at the exact moment I asked times in a row. I also asked him to modify a couple of songs for me . Did a great job

What an amazing company! Loved the light show and they had a screen backdrop so you wouldn't see any of the wiring. Fun music and our DJ definitely had our music down!

Joe was probably the best thing to happen to our wedding. From 11 months ahead of time, he answered my countless questions over phone and email. He updated things as we needed them changed (including price) and he made extremely helpful suggestions along the way. On the wedding day, he made sure everything went so smoothly that we never even had to think about things. The flow of songs and the flow of the wedding was amazing and it was all thanks to him. We have received countless compliments on our DJ and several requests from our guests to use him at their weddings. Definitely could not do better than Joe!

Jerry from Dynamite DJs was amazing. Our wedding night had an untraditional schedule, and we had very specific instructions for the songs that we chose. We also had a last minute change to the father-daughter dance. Jerry did not miss a beat. He went the extra mile every step of the way. One of my favorite moments of the night was when he heard my father mention my husband's love for Penn State in his speech, and he played the Penn State fight song immediately after. I got married in October 2016, and my friends still talk about how great the music was at my wedding. I cannot recommend them enough.

Made the whole day flow smoothly! Joe listened to what we expected day of and what the crowd wanted to listen to!

Joe with Dynamite DJS was amazing. He let all my guests know what was happening throughout the night, which I loved, and kept the party going. He played our ceremony and reception music and it was exactly what we hoped for. He was professional, reliable and everyone had a great time. Exceeded expectations in every way. Very professional, organized, and accommodating. We did not have to think about anything on the wedding night, because he had it all under control. Easy website to use and plan music choices.

DJ Joe is phenomenal. He's very direct & to the point which is a breath of fresh air when you're on a time crunch. He has plenty of experience, and his suggestions were on point. He helped me think about and work through many details I wouldn't have thought about otherwise. His equipment takes up zero space & is very high quality.

Jerry was amazing during our wedding. He was able to gauge how the night was going and choose music to fit the mood of the night. He really understands the entire atmosphere of a wedding and was very courtesy!

We used Dynamite DJs for our wedding in June at the Jefferson Hotel. Their website is SUPER easy to navigate and their online form includes everything you would expect a DJ to play/announce at a wedding.. from ceremony songs, to wedding party announcements, to first dance and last dance to everything in between! Jerry, our DJ, was awesome! He was very personable and made me, the bride, feel very relaxed. He knew what he was doing and was familiar with the venue so set up was a breeze. He made the evening go so smoothly. I could not have picked a better DJ even if I had all the money in the world! Their prices are reasonable and their service is OUTSTANDING. I highly recommend!

Overall, a great experience! The only negative was that he took a little while to respond the week of the wedding, but all other communication was incredibly timely. Joe has a great professional demeanor, and he's very kind - he got my groom and me drinks the minute we arrived at the reception. He was a great DJ, and the price can't be beat!

Dynamite DJs did both ceremony and reception music for my wedding. They are very professional in their setup which was out of view during the wedding. I got multiple compliments on this being the only ceremony, indoors or out, that they could actually hear everything that was said! During the cocktail hour and reception, the DJ ran everything just as or even more efficiently than a wedding coordinator. They were confident and professional in their service, kept the event moving, active and fun. Could not have been better.

Joe from Dynamite DJ's was fantastic at our wedding. He knew exactly how to keep the crowd on the dance floor, even though I had not specified any music for him to play. He was always extremely quick to answer emails, which I loved! He could of been a bit more cordial in those emails, but I can understand being a busy person and needing to be quick and to the point. The price for the service is unbeatable. I highly recommend Dynamite DJs for any occasion!

When we first started looking for a DJ we were astonished at how expensive they were until we talked to a friend who got married a year before we did. We really enjoyed their DJ and asked for a reference. I was pleasantly surprised that Dynamite DJs was very reasonably priced and the process was so easy. The online song request ability via the website made our life so much easier. Joe did a great job at the wedding and got all of our guests up and dancing!

Dynamite DJs is a great company for a great price! They make sure the songs are correct and cater to your every need! He is all about the bride and groom and will adjust any song to your liking and knows the right songs to play at the right times!

Dynamite DJ's does is an average wedding DJ but iS a great price.

Our DJ did a great job of trying to get folks moving, but it was not a dancing crowd. He was not very friendly or personable though, and seemed frustrated that our group photos were taking so long.

He was very attentive and easy to work with.
