Unfortunately, my experience as the bride with Wendy from Each and Every Detail fell far short of our expectations. While we hoped that Wendy would help make our wedding day special, several aspects of her service were deeply disappointing.
Vendor Recommendations: Wendy’s vendor suggestions frequently did not align with our budget or preferences.
Execution of Details: There was an over load of meetings and notes recounting all details for Wendy to “staff” properly and ensure details were executed, despite this she neglected the details. I provided detailed instructions and photos for place settings, however, they were executed incorrectly. The ceremony chairs, which were supposed to be uniform, ended up mismatched (see photo), and the aisle setup was so poorly done that my now husband had to fix it. Despite her claims of full service and design coordination, my mom and I ended up planning, designing, and picking out everything ourselves. Wendy’s team was promised to stay with the bridal party all day, but no one was present with us. With no guidance as to when we should head to the ceremony area or do pre-wedding photos. Wendy’s departure for lunch before the ceremony was not discussed as a plan, and although she mentioned she would not stay until midnight, she never indicated she would leave immediately after the ceremony. Critical details like setting out stepping lights were neglected, with lights left charging from the day before, and furniture for sitting areas was never set up.
Day-of Coordination: On the wedding day, Wendy's absence during crucial moments added to our stress. When I asked her to bring a program to the photographer, she informed me she was going to lunch with her team and left me to try and find someone else (see text message screenshot). This was especially problematic since we had provided lunch for everyone on-site. Her absence led to a missed cake delivery and placement issues that I had to manage myself. Wendy’s team did not fulfill their promised role, leaving us without support.
Communication Issues: Wendy’s excessive messaging asking questions (over 200 text messages and countless calls) to our family members, who were not involved in the planning process, caused confusion. She also directed unexpected issues with our rental vendor to be handled directly by me, contrary to her initial promise of being the direct contact for vendors. This disorganization on the day of meant our photographer and videographer had to step in to manage the timeline and coordination.
Lack of Support: Wendy left immediately following the ceremony, and her minimal presence was noted with frustration by our vendors. The only reason we had our planned dances and speeches was that I had to personally coordinate these with the band’s MC. This lack of support put undue stress on my mom and added to our frustration.
Conclusion: Wendy’s service fell short in many critical areas. Her lack of organization, poor communication, and minimal presence on the wedding day created significant stress and frustration. I hope this feedback helps future clients make a more informed decision. Unfortunately, our experience with Wendy from Each and Every Detail did not meet the high standards we had anticipated, especially considering her high cost. The only stress on my wedding day came from Wendy and her team.
Each and Every Detail were beyond what I could have asked for in a planner! Their organization, professionalism, and advice allowed me, my husband, our bridal party, and our families to be fully present for the big day. I had complete trust in Wendy and the E&ED team to take care of every thing on the day of. From keeping us (and our other vendors) on time to helping me change, to executing my vision day of, they truly do it all. There were so many little moments we got to fully soak in because we knew the rest of it was being handled. The whole experience with them was so stress-free!! I cannot thank or recommend them enough!!
Where do I start? E&ED is the reason I remained sane while planning our wedding. Planning a postponed COVID wedding isn’t something girls dream about. Wearing masks and gloves while trying on dresses isn’t ideal. But, E&ED took the reins and made it all happen while also supporting me mentally & emotionally. Wendy & Megan are not only extraordinary wedding planners, but they are extraordinary humans. These two women truly have the biggest hearts. They offered me their support & shoulder to cry on way more than they needed to. That support made me feel like I wasn’t alone during a time that was surprisingly lonely. Wendy & Megan were able to handle the old fashioned tendencies that came from the MOB with an immense amount of grace. I couldn’t be more grateful for that.
They handled all of the COVID rescheduling, contract changes & extra charges for postponement. Only two vendors were not available for the new date, but E&ED already had other vendors ready for us to review. Also, during such an uncertain time for the wedding industry, E&ED did not add an extra charge for postponing our wedding. That was such a selfless thing for them to do for us and it did not go without great appreciation.
I would recommend going with the planning package that provides the greatest amount of assistance from your planner. It is worth every single penny, but it’s actually a very reasonable price for everything that they do for their brides. I didn’t have to worry about a single thing on our wedding day. Not one thing. Everything was executed perfectly. If there were any bumps in the road, I didn’t have a clue because they took care of it all. We were all able to focus on making memories & having fun.
Megan killed it on our wedding day/night. Absolutely killed it! This girl worked her butt off (while always seeming like a cool cucumber) and made our wedding dreams come true. She listened to all of our concerns & addressed everything immediately. Megan also gracefully tolerated my procrastination when it came to planning, making decisions, and responding to emails. I’m sure that was super annoying, but she never made me feel like she noticed.
My parents can’t stop talking about how amazing of a job Megan did. They were over-the-moon with how the wedding planning came together. All of our guests loved “every little detail” that went into our wedding. It was such a happy day/night and it is 100% because of Megan at E&ED. She also had an amazing assistant with her that totally kicked butt too! I could go on and on about how amazing the ladies of E&ED are. I can’t thank them enough.
Each and Every Detail was everything we needed and wanted in a wedding planner! We were first assigned to Megan, who we worked with right up until the end. (She ended up being out sick D:) But Natasha stepped in and executed flawlessly on the day of! I really don't know how we would have had this wedding without them. We didn't know the first thing about planning a wedding but Each and Every Detail made it easy. They got to know us as a couple, what we imagined our wedding day looking like, etc. Then sent us choices in vendors they had worked with before and they knew were reliable. So we narrowed it down from there. It really made planning so easy and a whole lot less stressful. They kept us calm, worry-free and just walked us through the choices and timelines. We completely trusted that they had it under control. And I'm glad we did, because our wedding was perfect! But beyond the planning, we were taken care of on the day of our wedding. They made sure we were eating and drinking, kept us on time, and if any speed bumps were hit, we didn't know about it. We cannot think of a single thing that went wrong or that we would change. And even better, we truly got to ENJOY and EXPERIENCE our day! So thank you, Each and Every Detail! You delivered everything you promised and more!
Wendy was wonderful to have planning my wedding! She took my vision and altered it a bit because she saw a way to turn what I wanted into something even better. She helped put together an outstanding vendor team, which I truly felt so fortunate to have as part of my day. Our wedding day turned out beautifully and was even more than I could have ever imagined. I didn't have to deal with any stress on my wedding day because of Wendy and her team. The day was truly seamless. Also, Wendy made the planning process so easy with clear tasks that I needed to complete and good communication about what decisions I needed to make. So thankful for Wendy!
Wendy with Each and Every Detail was an absolute lifesaver from planning to wedding day. I ordered the wedding day management package. We had regular meetings and she kept me on track through the entire planning process, answered all my 1000 questions and had countless suggestions I didn’t even think about! They day of Wendy and her team handles EVERYTHING so you can actually relax and enjoy your day. ❤️

Megan with Each and Every Detail was truly a blessing!! She was so helpful, answering all of my questions and concerns and such a pleasure to work with. From our initial meeting, to planning, changing the Wedding Date and making many last minute changes with the current COVID conditions. I was able to sit back and relax the day of my daughters wedding knowing she was actually handling “each and every detail.” She was amazing! At the end of the night, she made sure everything was packed up and ready to go very quickly. We would highly recommend! Thanks for everything Megan! I couldn’t image the day without you! ❤️
Booking Megan Burkett at Each and Every Detail was LITERALLY the single best decision we made about our wedding. She is so kind, funny, smart and on-top of ALL of our wedding needs and plans! We booked the full package service so she was with us from start to finish and although hiring a wedding planner is pricey, I cannot tell you how incredibly thankful we were to have her with us every step of the way. She went with us to venues, met florists, djs and photographers...everything. I wasn't stressed at ALL, the entire time (not counting the bit of nervousness on the actual wedding day :) ) and she anticipated our needs and thought of virtually everything. The great thing about Megan is that she is extremely calm and soothing and really made the whole process so, so much fun. Everyone at her office was great (Sidney, Shawna, Wendy - Y'ALL ARE AWESOME) and my husband and I just loved them. If you are thinking about hiring a planner PLEASE do yourself a huge favor and book Megan! You will not regret it. Honestly I'm sad about the wedding being over because I will miss our meetings!! As a company, Each and Every Detail gives you this awesome online planner where you can view your budget and contracts, arrange your seating chart and see a checklist of things you need to do and their due dates. Suppppper helpful for unorganized people like myself ~ Also want to add how quickly Megan & co. responded to our questions! From the first meeting with Wendy we just clicked with her! She understood exactly what we wanted and was so patient listening to my husband and I about all the difference things we wanted and even mediated a few arguments with suggestions! We took two years and 1 month to plan our wedding and I can't imagine doing it without Wendy and her amazing team! As a bride that likes to be in control of everything I was so at ease throughout the planning process and on the wedding day! Would recommend 100% to any bride! My family will likely use Wendy and her team again for future events as well!
Sarah was outstanding. During the planning process, we needed someone who could take in an overwhelming amount of ideas, needs, and wants from 6+ different people, consolidate and create a uniquely beautiful event catered just to us. As we were prone to change our minds on almost a weekly basis, she was able to expertly accommodate and adapt with us as our vision adjusted. She always had a smile on her face and we always left feeling more calm and collected after each meeting.
The wedding day couldn't have gone better. You always hear horror stories about things that went wrong, but not the case for us. We genuinely felt like everything went according to plan due to Sarah's precision. The schedule went without a hitch, the flow of the whole day was smooth, vendors were kept on task and on time, guests were happy, we were happy, etc.
The next time we have a large event for ourselves, work, or otherwise, our choice will always be Sarah with Each & Every Detail. Her expertise in planning a smooth event and ability to keep everyone calm and collected under very high stress situations is unmatched.
I CANNOT begin to express what an amazing job Sarah did! She was an absolute pleasure to work with! Our wedding day went perfectly thanks to Sarah and her team! Sarah was always available to me or any questions or concerns on the wedding and all the months of planning prior to the wedding day. She made me feel so at ease on my wedding day, I felt completely comfortable knowing Sarah knew what I wanted and completely comfortable that she was going to help make my wedding dream come true!
You NEED a wedding planner, and Each & Every Detail is the BEST! I wasn't sure if I really needed one at first, since I'm very particular and like to pick things out myself, but I hired Sarah from Each and Every Detail and it was the best decision I made. Sarah thought of so many things I would have forgotten, and her help scheduling the day was invaluable. She knew how much time to allot for each activity and it helped so to get the advice of a professional on the nitty-gritty stuff! She also gave us suggestions on vendors that she's used before and trusts. On the day of, I didn't have to worry about ANYTHING! Sarah and her team made sure the day ran smoothly, leaving me free to hang out with my friends, family, and new husband! My one piece of advice to my engaged friends now is, get a day-of planner. You won't regret it. You want to spend your wedding day feeling like a princess, not a circus ringmaster!
I was very reluctant to use a planner, and even after my husband & family convinced me it was a good idea, Wendy’s fee was more than 20% of what I wanted to spend on the entire wedding. That being said, Wendy was awesome and she really did take care of each and every detail. The wedding turned out great and we were really happy with it. If you’re very budget-conscious, this is not for you... but if you (or your spouse!) wants someone to handle everything and you don’t want to worry about anything, Wendy is the best.
100% worth it! Brooke helped turn my Pinterest ideas into the real wedding of my dreams! She was on top of everything and always had recommendations that worked within our budget and experienced advice when we were struggling with decision making. Having Brooke and her team throughout the planning process and the day of allowed me (and my mom) to enjoy such a special day without any stress or worries.
I can't even put into words how thankful I am for Sarah Varnau! My wedding could not have happened without her. She is so organized and on top of everything. She asked questions that I never would have thought about, so it was impossible for anything to fall through the cracks. My wedding day truly could not have gone smoother or more perfectly! It was so amazing to just be able to relax and enjoy the day while knowing Sarah had everything under control. In the month or two leading up to the wedding, she definitely helped me keep my sanity. After each meeting, I breathed a huge sigh of relief that she was on my team! From being the first one to arrive at the venue to help set up and style décor, to being on her hands and knees blotting out red wine that was spilled on the bottom of my wedding dress – there was nothing she didn’t do with the utmost professionalism. I am so appreciative of everything Sarah did to help me have the wedding of my dreams!
Brooke with Each & Every Detail was absolute perfection. Brooke was our wedding coordinator on 11.04.2017 and she was the definition of professionalism! I never once felt like I had to worry about anything leading up to the wedding, & on the day of the wedding she worked her tail off & everything went flawless. I wish every bride & bride's family had the opportunity to work with and get to know Brooke! She is the most organized person I've ever met (and my dad owns his own company) & is so pleasant to be around! Couldn't recommend enough!
I can't say enough! Tamara was the best, and she stepped in to help me during my bridal shoot when my MOH couldn't make it. I felt like I had known Tamara forever. She was great, and I appreciate all of her help.
We worked with Brooke a couple weeks ago on a beautiful wedding at The Grove. Brooke did an amazing job communicating not only with the couple but also with all the vendors as well. She has a great attention to detail and was a delight to work with. She made our job (as the caterers) so much easier with how helpful and on top of things she was. We would love to work with Brooke again.
Sarah White and her team are amazing!!! Originally I had planned on doing everything myself, but quickly realized I was in over my head. I knew from our first meeting that Sarah would be able make the whole wedding experience less stressful for me. We did all of our own decorations and Sarah and her team set everything up perfectly. It looked exactly how I pictured it in my head! They made sure the night ran smoothly and the one hick up that we did had (a wedding crasher) she handled it swiftly and smoothly! I couldn't be happier with how our wedding turned out! Thank you Sarah and Each & Every Detail!
I cannot imagine my wedding day without Wendy Kidd and the team at Each and Every Detail! Before I met Wendy, I had already found a few vendors on my own and was trying coordinate everything myself. Boy was that a huge mistake. I spent months stressed out and dreading for nothing. Once I met Wendy, she helped coordinate a wedding of my dreams – and within our budget! She is great listener and able to make all your jumbled thoughts/wants into a reality. Wendy also set me up with some amazing vendors that made our day look and feel extraordinary! I cannot recommend Each and Every Detail enough! There were definitely some unexpected issues that came up leading to the day of our wedding, and Wendy stepped in and took care of all the issues. The day of our wedding was an absolute dream. If something went wrong, we didn’t know – everything was absolutely perfect! I have gotten so many compliments from friends, family, and vendors about how well organized everything was and how much fun they had at our wedding. I cannot thank Wendy and her team enough!
I cannot even put into words how exceptional my experience was with EED. Our Lead Planner, Sarah White served as not only a planner, but a guru to my entire family. When we stressed out, she had the answer. When we were excited, she was excited with us. My entire family feels like we gained a lifelong friend through this partnership. My wedding day was absolutely care-free because of Sarah White at EED! Her service will never be forgotten. I would recommend any and every bride use her...HANDS DOWN. If you haven't made any other vendor decisions, here is the perfect start!
I cannot speak highly enough about EED. Sarah is an unstoppable force in the best way. She made the entire process as seamless and as stress-free as possible. The entire team was an absolute joy to work with and helped my husband and I turn our wedding vision into reality while helping us stay in budget. I wish I could get married 15 more times so that I could work with Sarah again!
I can't say enough wonderful things about Wendy and the team at Each and Every Detail. We originally had Brooke as our wedding coordinator, but due to a family emergency we had to move our wedding date and Wendy was available for our new date. In meeting with both Brooke and Wendy, they both got to know me and what exactly I wanted for my wedding. They really do pay attention to each and every detail and are SO organized! Wendy completely took away the stresses on the wedding day and handled everything beautifully. Two hours before our ceremony, the zipper on my mom's dress ripped, and like superwoman Wendy saved the day by sewing the dress back together. I don't know how we would have pulled off the wedding without her and her team. They are so prepared for any situation that might happen on the day of, and they handle everything calmly! Wendy and the team at Each and Every Detail really do care about their brides and want to make the plannin process enjoyable and stress free. I adore Wendy and her team and will be recommending them to all future brides! These ladies made my fairytale wedding come true and I'm forever thankful!

It's hard to completely put into words just how amazing Wendy Kidd is. I first met her at the McKinney Bridal Show in January of 2012. I'd just gotten engaged two weeks prior, but told myself that I didn't need a wedding planner. Silly me. :)
Fast forward to May, when I was just beginning to rip my hair out. My wedding location (both ceremony and reception) was held in a small town, with hardly any wedding-related resources. Thank goodness Wendy was available for our October date because I really don't know what I would've done without her. She's completely in-the-know and paired us with some incredibly amazing vendors that we would've never found on our own.
Her personality and spirit is so warm and inviting that you end up wanting her to be your very best friend. She took each of my annoying emails and phone calls in stride, immediately going to work solving all of my problems (which, in the end, weren't really problems).
Our wedding day went off without a hitch, as they say. Wendy and her team made sure that the entire day was perfect for us and our families and we are so, so happy that we chose to work with her!
I used Candace as my day of coordinator for my June wedding. She was a life saver. She and her assistant made sure we ate at the reception and stayed on schedule. When we got into the limo at the end of the night, she had saved us two pieces of wedding cake and cakeballs to take back to the hotel. I would definitely recommend her!
Wendy was absolutely amazing. she was extremely thurough and helped me with every single thing i did and did not think of. she was amazing and she made my wedding perfect!
