We had our wedding at Eagles Nest in October. The day couldn’t have gone any better and Alexis did a great job bringing it all together!! The view from the patios was absolutely beautiful with all the fall colors around Loch Raven.
Not only was the catering aspect so easy to navigate with it being with the venue, but WOW the food was great! So many different selections it was hard to choose. As for the bar, our signature drinks (spicy marg + old fashioned) were great. They did Old Bay instead of Tajin on the spicy marg which I thought was A. super fun and B. very on brand along with our crab mallet favors! The bartender also made his own special concoction that was a huge hit among my friends from college.
The bridal suite was located on the opposite side of the building from the ballroom down a long hallway, which was a nice amount of space to have between. It basically had a private bathroom as it was shared with the ladies’ locker room. As for the bridal suite itself, I could see it being pretty tight for a BIG wedding party but it was plenty of space for myself, my two bridesmaids, mom, and mother in law.
I’m so happy we had our wedding at Eagles Nest!
We could not have been happier with our experience working with Eagle's Nest for our wedding reception! They rolled out the red carpet for us on every single visit and took care of every detail perfectly. The food tasting was great, Amy and Alexis were super helpful in coordinating the day of, and Nicole made sure we had everything we needed for food and beverage. The room for getting ready was perfectly stocked for us and the cocktail hour room and reception ballroom were gorgeous. We couldn't have asked for anything better for our wedding!
Eagles Nest made our wedding an absolute dream! Amy & her team (Walk Dinsey) were so easy to work with, they paid attention to the smallest of details which made our experience so great. The food was divine and the tray of food waiting for us in the suite before joining cocktail hour were crucial to being able to join our guest and not be ravenous until dinner. The food was all delicious the chef does an amazing job. The venue is stunning, which made for easy decorating and setup. We all had the most wonderful time, our guest couldn't stop raving about how wonderful it all was!
Where to start! Eagle's Nest and Amy Rusek were amazing! The venue was beautiful, of course, but we also loved having the banquet hall, private bar (The Nest), and bridal suite all to ourselves for the big day. From the detailed consultation, mapping it all out, and coordination the day-of, we could not have asked for anything more. Amy and the banquet manager (kicking myself for forgetting her name) made 11/23/19 our best day, and really focused on the small details we wanted to include. We weren't stressed at all about the day and things went perfectly. Definitely would highly recommend.
We are so happy we booked our wedding at Eagles Nest Country Club! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect, and I would highly recommend this venue. The views from the outdoor patio are beautiful, the golf course is pristine, and the abundant amount of indoor & outdoor space makes this venue ideal for a large wedding.
To Amy, the Private Event Coordinator – Thank you so much for all of your time, patience, and advice! Amy was very attentive from day one. She quickly responded to our numerous emails, phone calls, and never-ending questions. Amy makes the planning process seamless and is very knowledgeable. She was present of the day of the wedding, to help with finishing touches, keep us on schedule, and help in any way!
To Suzanne, the Banquet Manager – The night and day before the wedding Suzanne dedicated a lot of time helping us set up and decorate. I was unable to finish decorating the night prior, so she put the finishing touches on everything Saturday. She was extremely helpful and kind. Cocktail hour was wonderful, and dinner was served in a timely manner.
To the chef, kitchen staff, servers, & bartenders – The food was delicious! All of our guests were raving about the o’dourves, as well as the entrees. We selected Chicken Chesapeake and Filet mignon for our dinner options. The service was wonderful. The bartenders were attentive and did a wonderful job keeping the guests “hydrated”.
We loved having our wedding here! The view is absolutely gorgeous, and they recently renovated the reception area. Everything went exactly as planned. Amy the coordinator on site, and she was very helpful, and always answered our questions! Highly recommend this venue.
I just got married at Eagle's Nest on August 4th. Everything was so perfect! First, the venue itself is truly gorgeous. There is a great view of rolling hills and the Towson skyline. All of our guests were so impressed. They also just recently renovated the ballroom, which is nice. Second, the wedding coordinator, Amy, is amazing. She is very thorough and on top of things. She was very helpful in all of our meetings, and she set up all of my decorations the day of. The staff was very attentive as well. I highly recommend Eagle's Nest as a wedding venue. The food, drinks, and linens are all included as well!
We had both our ceremony and reception at Eagles Nest Country Club 10/14/17. We loved the view and decided to have our ceremony outside on the patio, cocktail hour on the lower patio and reception in their ballroom. At first communication was fine with the events coordinator. Then the club was sold and email addresses were changed with no notification of us a good 6 months after we already paid a deposit. We had a bad tasting since it was scheduled without the chef but the 2nd one was great when he was there. We were initially told there would be light construction inside that would not affect the wedding. The day before the wedding I scheduled a meeting to run through things since we were not having a rehearsal. I pulled up with chain link fencing and dumpsters out in front with no signs of where to go. The events coordinator was a no show even though she picked the time and confirmed with an email. The food and beverage manager and manager of the club worked with us for an hour and even the chef helped carry decorations in from my car. We were assured there would be no construction the day of and that we could use part of hte locker room to get ready since the prior room was under construction. There was construction until 3pm when my wedding started at 4pm and no one out front or a sign telling guests were to go like we were told the day before. Most of our issues started with the coordinator, so I would highly recommend having your own wedding planner or day of coordinator so you are not personally dealing with issues at the last minute. The banquet manager and food and beverage managers were amazing the day of, the food, servers and bartenders were also great. Overall we had a great wedding, our guests had fun and we have great pictures!
We recently had our wedding at Eagle's Nest Country Club. We instantly fell in love with the view from the patio where we ended up having our wedding ceremony. The inside of the building was nice as well and we had no hesitations with signing and putting a deposit down. As our date came closer, we had a meeting with the Events Coordinator about 2 months out. When we arrived at the Club, we were a bit stressed to learn that the Club had been purchased by Club Corp (they were previously member owned) and that they were going to be beginning construction. At the time, we were told that the construction would only be outside and that the inside construction would not begin until late November, well after our wedding. When we had our next meeting, about 3 weeks out from our date, we arrived at the Club to see a chain link fence wrapped around almost the entire front of the building. The main entrance and dining room had been torn up at this time and the only way into the building was through one of the side entrances.
The main complaint we have is that none of this was ever communicated with us. We were never told about the Club being sold, about the construction beginning, about the accelerated construction timeline OR about the fence. The fence also remained while our wedding took place, which was very upsetting given the amount of money we had paid and that this was the first impression our guests had when they arrived. In addition, we were told that there would be workers outside to help guide guests as to where to park and direct them around the side of the building to where the ceremony was to take place, and this did not happen.
I will say, that the Events Coordinator was able to lower the overall price a bit given the circumstances. Also, the event staff that served the dinner and helped throughout the reception were very friendly and helpful. The construction did not interfere with the view or any of the rooms we were in that night.
My husband and I were recently married 8/18/2017 at the Eagles Nest Country Club
I was amazing . We reserved the ballroom patio and nest. Unfortunately there was a extreme down pour of rain so we were unable to have the ceremony on the patio as planned it was held in the dinning room. It still was beautiful..ran smoothly thanks to Suzanne and her staff..they were awesome and I would like to thank them and Ms. Hailey for their willingness to make my day beautiful...even though it rained during the ceremony by the time the reception started it was done n my guest were able to enjoy the the patio and the wonderful view. After the rain in the distance there was smoke/stem coming off the trees and it just made everything beautiful. Our guest are still raving about everything.
I played phone tag with Amy at this venue for several days, trying to schedule a tour. In Amy's first voicemail she sounded cold and monotone, almost annoyed, but I brushed it off. I last left a message on Tuesday. Today is Friday and I have not heard back.
We are no longer considering this as a possible venue, based off of our experience just trying to schedule a tour.
My husband and I held our Rehearsal Dinner at Eagle's Nest, and it could not have been more perfect. We had around 75 guests, we were able to reserve the ballroom along with the patio. Our guests really enjoyed the freedom to venture outside on the patio at times, and the view of the Towson skyline was something right out of a magazine. The food was excellent, the wait staff was very attentive and efficient. During the planning process the director, Amy, was very accessible by email or by phone and was able to answer any and all questions my mother-in-law had regarding the dinner. She was very easy to work with and allowed my mother-in-law the freedom to decorate as she wanted. It was a very beautiful and elegant venue with amazing people working there, so overall it made for an amazing and memorable evening. I would definitely recommend this venue for a wedding or a rehearsal dinner.
The wedding coordinators and the staff at Eagle's Nest were great to work with. They gave us a packet of information that was incredibly helpful in the planning of the reception, and were friendly and responsive whenever we had any questions. The food was delicious and the bar tenders make a fantastic martini!! We only wish that the reception could have been longer!
My husband and I were married at Eagle’s Nest Country Club in September 2015. We had a beautiful wedding ceremony on their patio surrounded by family and friends. The view is amazing and was the perfect backdrop for our vows. Our reception was in the ball room which was a great size for our 125 person wedding. The food was delicious- our guests still rave about how good the crab cakes were! Shelby, the attendant to our wedding party, was amazing! She was so helpful and attentive. She made sure that the bridal party had appetizers and drinks while we were busy taking pictures during the sadly missed cocktail hour. It was great to be able to actually enjoy all the food we had picked out!
Throughout the planning process, the coordinators, at Eagles Nest, were very accommodating and helpful. They allowed us to come to venue multiple times to take measurements and pictures as we planned for decorations. They were easy to communicate with via e-mail/ phone to make sure that all our vendors had what they needed. Unlike a lot of venues, we were able to bring in decorations ahead of time and the staff took the time to set them up and take them down. Even when we had a last minute weather change, and needed to bring in tents for the patio, they were able to handle all of the details with the utmost professionalism.
Eagle’s Nest Country Club was able to make their venue feel uniquely ours for our wedding day! We were able to truly enjoy our wedding (and leave the details to them) thanks to the amazing staff.
Eagles Nest has been wonderful to work with thus far- the scenery overlooking the golf course is beautiful, the menu has several options to chose from, and the event planner has been great from the start! She has been very informative, flexible, and offers lots of great ideas. I'm very much looking forward to working with this venue some more in the next several months leading up to the big day!
