I have been in contact with the Andrea who served as our coordinator from the Eaglewood for close to a year and a half, and she was always so very kind to answer any and all questions I had. She was tremendously supportive and accommodating through the entire process, and she worked to ensure every small detail that would ensure our wedding day would be brilliant. She communicated with our vendors, managed logistics, even drove us out to the golf course on a cart for us to take pictures before our Cocktail hour. Her expertise in wedding planning is very clear and absolutely shined through to us :) Our guests have been raving about the food- the Eaglewood gifted us with a beautiful dinner tasting several months before which was a precious experience for us as well. Ewa, the Catering Coordinator, is absolutely incredible , she and her staff were tremendously kind and worked above and beyond to make the day special for us. This venue also is a hotel, so your guests would be able to stay on site if they would like, and we were gifted a night to stay in the hotel by the Eaglewood in the package! This was truly a brilliant and joyous venue, and my husband and I cannot thank the entire team enough for their genuine care and kindness to make our wedding day, and all of the planning leading up to it, truly incredible.

Our wedding day was nothing short of perfection, thanks to the extraordinary team at Eaglewood Resort and Spa. PS We originally booked the Linden Ballroom with a band. We invited the max amount of people the room could occupy. We found out the week before our wedding that they were going to move us to the Red Oak Ballroom at no charge. We were beyond ecstatic! I don’t believe this is common, but we were the only wedding at the hotel that weekend. Perks of getting married in the spring. I almost want to leave my number for people to call and ask any questions. All wedding venues in the area are pretty much priced the same. I promise you 1000X over Eaglewood should be at the top of your list.

-Sunday everything went so smooth! We had our rehearsal Friday where Eileen and our day of coordinator both attended and made sure everything was set for the following day. Then we have our rehearsal dinner downstairs at the bar with the Italian dinner package and the food was phenomenal. The getting ready room for the bride and her party was huge and our hair stylist/makeup artist loved the setup. They both said it was one of the nicer setups they have had before and loved how spacious the room was. The natural light is also a wonderful bonus in the room with the floor to ceiling windows. Our ceremony was in the RedOak Ballroom and then turned that into the reception and it was everything we had hoped for. We had 220 people and could have fit more if we needed to so space was not an issue. We had so many of our guests coming up and completing the food and how amazing it was, many guest said that out of all the weddings they have been to the food at ours was by far the best they have had, which we would agree with! The breakfast voucher option we did for our farewell breakfast was perfect and such a big selection of food for everyone. Eileen was great and we cant recommend this venue enough for anyone else! It is worth the money we had the smoothest and stress free day! Thank you to all who made the day so perfect for us!

l dinner menu options. Our ceremony & reception were flawless. On the day of, the resorts staff wasn’t very helpful. Luckily we had a wedding day coordinator that we hired that took care of everything for us! After our wedding some of florals and decor were misplaced. Our friend used to work there and found everything for us. Besides that, it was a great experience. Everyone raves about how good the food was & how nice the hotel rooms were.

every step of the process - from doing a virtual tour of the grounds to helping us move our ceremony inside due to weather. She was always able to answer our questions and was quick to respond. We highly recommend working with her! Our wedding ceremony and reception were both in the Red Oak Ballroom, which is spacious and beautiful. The room also had a reception hall and outdoor patio for our guests to use. There was plenty of space for dancing and socializing throughout the evening. Our guests also had a wonderful time at our reception and absolutely raved about the food. Everything from the cocktail appetizers to the plated dinner was phenomenal. The wedding package also included a stay in the junior suite. The room was beautiful and was a great place for the groomsmen to get ready in. It even had a balcony overlooking the golf course. We highly recommend this venue.

p of the way. Our wedding went exactly as planned, he didn't miss a thing. He was also super easy to communicate with. All of the other resort staff we worked with were also very friendly and professional. The ballroom we used fit our 100 guest count perfectly. When we initially toured the venue, they have multiple rooms that accommodate different guest sizes so they can host just about any size wedding comfortably. Eaglewood was a perfect and beautiful spot to host our event, and a fair price too! I would highly recommend Eaglewood for any wedding.

He answered all of my questions, made sure I had all of the exact details I wanted, and made sure the day went so smooth. All of the staff at Eaglewood was so nice and friendly, it truly is a resort hidden in the Chicago suburbs. The food selection was outstanding and delicious, we received so many compliments. Robb also made sure to let me know everything that was gluten free!! And walking to our penthouse suite after the wedding was the best after such a long day, and we had a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us! They also made sure the suite was spotless when we came back to our room. We enjoyed it so much was stayed for 2 extra nights after the wedding and cannot wait to return for our one year anniversary.

The rooms were all very nice and offered at a VERY reasonable rate for the wedding room block. The staff that worked the actual wedding and reception were great and on top of everything. I did not have to worry about one single thing! The food offered was also great and we have received some many compliments from our guests.

nd Eaglewood was the perfect place for all of it! It was a bonus that our out of town guests had a place to stay right upstairs, with the hotel being part of the resort. There were a few things that were sub-par in our experience, and Eaglewood was very responsive and compensated us for those things. Lori helped us with all of the planning, and gave us space to store decorations the week of the wedding. She was able to get us a rehearsal space the night before, and helped my mom plan a brunch the day after the wedding as well. The staff at our reception was fantastic, and our guests were super impressed with the hors d'oeuvres. Overall, it was a great venue for our wedding.

She even was there the day of our wedding to make sure everything ran smoothly for us. Our reception was outstanding as well! The food was even more delicious than we remembered. Our guests were thrilled with their meals, as well as the venue itself. Everything was set up beautifully, as I had provided a candy bar and other decor, and the staff displayed perfectly. The banquet manager went above and beyond for us and the serving staff was kind and helpful as well. Our photographer took amazing pictures thanks to all the photo op spaces around the venue, from inside to outside. We came back to our bridal suite to champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, and even a slice of our wedding cake from the staff. It was so kind of the staff to make us feel so special. I can't say enough good things about this venue and it's staff. I'm going to push my company to have business meetings here and plan on staying at the resort again soon! My husband and I truly did have the best day ever, and we owe it all to Eaglewood Resort and Spa!

It is so fun to have all of your guests hanging out in the lobby and bar in between the ceremony and the reception, and then have them stay overnight and see them again for breakfast in the morning. We were a little worried about how 300 people were going to fit in the Red Oak Ballroom, but it turned out so great and did not feel crowded at all. At the end of the night, we wanted to keep dancing, and the event manager let us keep the party going well after (like atleast 30 minutes) it was offically over. Thank you Eaglewood! We can't wait to come back for our Anniversary celebration!

. The golf course was well maintained, so the backdrop of our wedding was beautiful. The staff set up a table in the front for our unity ceremony and tables in the back for our DJ and programs. Our cocktail hour was on the Wisteria Terrace. The guests seems to enjoy cocktail hour, all the delicious appetizers, and watching us on the golf course as we took our photos. Our reception was located at the Pavilion. We absolutely loved the Pavilion. Our original wedding coordinator was Rob, but after not hearing back from him, we reached out he had left Eaglewood. Lori became our event coordinator. She was very helpful during our food tastings, all the emails back and forth with questions. The week before the wedding, she let us know that she was going on vacation during our wedding, so another coordinator (another Lori) became our wedding day coordinator. Lori was also very very helpful during our rehearsal and on wedding day. We had an absolute blast on our wedding day, and would definitely recommend Eagelwood Resort & Spa.

The appetizers were so delicious and unique! The salad was beautifully presented. And the entrees were exquisite and cooked perfectly. The venue was very flexible in regards to when our other vendors needed to set up and assisted when needed. We also had a room block through the resort and that was very easy to set up and add rooms to. We couldn't be more pleased with Eaglewood Resort and highly recommend this venue for weddings!

Despite staffing changes, we were still able to get our questions answered and feel confident that everything was being taken care of. At our tasting, we were able to enjoy a full meal for four people and discuss the many meal options for our guests. Eaglewood was able to accommodate our changes to their typical packages (we got rid of the soup course) as well as allergies from guests. On the wedding day, there were three different events taking place. However, our coordinator was only working with our event, and was highly aware of our specific wedding needs. In addition, our coordinator worked with the mother of the bride and bridesmaids and decided to move the cocktail hour inside. This allowed for guests to avoid the extreme heat and still enjoy their appetizers and drinks. Eaglewood worked directly with our outside vendors (DJ, florist) and we did not have to act as a middleman. Everything was set up in the reception space just as we had envisioned it. At the end of the night, our dinner leftovers were placed in our hotel room fridge (the hotel room was included with the wedding package). In addition, our coordinator left some champagne, wedding cake, and chocolate covered strawberries. These treats were much appreciated, especially since the hotel rooms are quite a walk from the pavillion. We had a fantastic night, and the wedding guests were overjoyed with the beautiful space, golf course views, and hospitality of all the staff.

anyone for their wedding. To start with, one of the biggest deciding factors for choosing this venue was the event coordinator we met with, Robb. We thought we would be in good hands with him, he really seemed to be on top of things and we felt comfortable with him. Turns out, he quit soon after we booked and was replaced with Lori. My first impression of her was not great - I had emailed Robb asking when the food tasting would be set up since he had told us that someone would reach out to us about 4 months prior to our wedding date and it was past that time; Lori responded by telling me that she had seen the last names on our file and assumed we were having our food catered from outside, which was not only offensive as she racially profiled us but also completely unprofessional, because that means she didn't even bother opening up the file and glancing at the contract before responding to my email. Needless to say, I wasn't thrilled but after an urgent meeting with her, I was somewhat comforted by the fact that she boasted her 35+ years experience in the wedding industry for another venue. I went through ALL the details I wanted with her; all the things I had previously discussed with Robb, and things that he had kindly added to the contract prior to his departure. Over the course of the next few months, things continued to be dropped, forgotten, misunderstood & mishandled by Lori. Each time she would try to rectify the situation and attempt to make things better by sweet-talking her way out of the mess, but she would continue to drop things we discussed.. Including: 1.) I must have communicated with her at least 5 or 6 times that we were forgoing the cocktail hour for a Sweets table, and when we were given the final Banquet Order 2 weeks prior to the wedding, the Sweets table was still nowhere to be found. 2.) They do not provide a bridal suite to get ready in, but they do provide a room for the wedding night, which I was told by Robb I would be able to get ready in the day of the wedding but Lori said I could only check in at 3pm - my wedding was at 6pm, and I needed to be ready by 2pm, so we paid for an extra night to be able to use the room from the morning. 3.) She assured us that the room would be cleaned and put back in order by the time we came back to it after the wedding; that was not what happened. After a long day, we came back to an untidy room and had to call the front desk to ask for housekeeping and waited out in the balcony while they cleaned the room after midnight. 4.) After providing the final count, she emailed us the final invoice, which had handwritten calculations on it, and was completely off - she had added an amount instead of subtracting it, which almost doubled our final payment amount. Thankfully we double checked her calculations and caught the mistake before paying. 5.) We told her that both sides of the family would like to have breakfast there the next morning - we asked if we needed a reservation and what time we could get there; she told us no reservation was needed and to go around 9-9:30. When we went down around 9:30 we were told the buffet had closed, but the staff did end up seating us after explaining to them what Lori said. There were other incidents that happened but I can't write it all. Do not book this venue.

so kind, patient, informative and helpful in the nearly two years from the day we booked Eaglewood to the day of our wedding. On the day of our wedding, the entire staff was kind and attentive. The venue itself is beyond beautiful Pictures and tours don't compare to what it looked like on our wedding day. Our reception was held in the pavilion and it was perfect (ceremony off-site). I wasn't able to give the venue 5 stars for two reasons. The first was the cake. Eaglewood hosts multiple events a weekend and there was another wedding the same night as ours. Our cake got switched with theirs. After communicating with both the bakery and with Robb, it was determined that the bakery and the employee who delivered the cakes were not at fault. An Eaglewood employee put the cakes in the wrong rooms. Unfortunately, by the time I realized the problem, it was too late to switch them back. A few days later when the problem was brought up to Robb, he promptly offered suggestions to rectify the problem, going as far as to offer to have OUR cake remade and have a photographer brought in to capture it. My husband and I elected to just receive a refund for the cake and the topper that went missing. The second issue was with some of the entrees. For some reason not enough chicken dishes were prepared and some of our guests had to wait until after the desert was served to be given their entrees. I'm still not sure exactly what happened there. Overall, I would recommend this venue. While the mistakes made shouldn't have occurred, they went through great lengths to make them right with us. And we respect that.

or. We were planning our wedding from out of state and we handled just about everything by phone and email. They even made special arrangements to fit us into their schedule when we were only in town for 2 days. If there is something you really want just ask them. They did everything possible to accommodate us. We wanted to make it easy for our out-of-town guests so we decided to have everything at the hotel. We even did the rehearsal dinner at the bowling alley on the property and had a nice relaxing time. The next day we had the ceremony on the golf course and went right into cocktail hour and the reception. Easy for guests since no one had to drive or take any shuttles. Our guest gave us nothing but compliments. They were especially pleased with the dinner. Eaglewood makes things very easy for you and all of our vendors liked working with them as well. We'll be back to celebrate our honeymoon!

We by some miracle found Eaglewood, which was a million times better anyway, and I literally cried the day we booked out of complete and utter happiness. Rob was amazing helping us with ANYTHING we needed, the whole staff was extremely accommodating, as well. IMy husband and I shared the most beautiful penthouse suite and all of our guests loved their rooms. The little shop downstairs was amazing for coffee in the morning (and they have almond milk!) as well as snacks the night before. Brunch the day after was on site and wonderful! We got married outdoors on June 3rd, had our cocktail hour on the Wisteria Terrace, and our reception was held in the pavilion (which is their air conditioned/heated tent area that also has a balcony). Everything was absolutely perfect down to the last detail. People even said the food was better than at my brother's wedding, which was in the Signature Room in Chicago.. so you know that Eaglewood puts their all into it! My dad was able to golf in the morning before the wedding to calm his nerves, which was very helpful. They even allowed us to have a conference room for snacks/water/our guestbook between the ceremony and cocktail hour! I recommend Eaglewood 110%, and can't wait to spend our anniversary there!

We even hired a wedding planner on our own that was there till the end.
