Samantha was a dream to work with. Her work is stunning and she goes above and beyond to make sure the items she is making are beautiful for the day of the wedding. I was having difficulty finding someone willing to work with us, as we wanted to include Hebrew on our invitations. She didn't blink an eye and her initial draft of the invitations brought tears to my mom's eyes! Her work truly brought the wedding look together and we could not thank her enough for everything she did to make our day beautiful.
We started our whole wedding planning process back in October 2018. Our original wedding date was June 2020 and we had to postpone twice and finally got to celebrate September 2021.
East + West stuck with us through it ALL!!! They were so understanding of our postponements and helped us communicate this to our family and friends promptly. They stuck by us through the postponements, us moving to another city and their transition of leadership as well. We had amazing communication with them throughout it all & we wouldn’t have been able to get through this journey without them.
They were able to create a crest for our wedding papery that carried onto our day-of papery and everything. The design process for the save the dates, invites, postponement notifications & day-of papery was so comprehensive. What’s unique about their process is their design platform. They sent us each design and we were able to make changes and comments about what we liked/disliked until the papery was perfect. My husband and I are super particular and they were so patient and made edits up to 10 times on each item without any complaint. Sam was so dedicated to making sure we were happy.
They were also super understanding about creating a payment plan that worked best for us & that meant the world to us since postponements and such were so stressful.
Would highly recommend Sam for your wedding papery needs :)
Unfortunately, my overall experience with East + West was less than ideal. I hired Sam for formal wedding invitations and I'll be the first to say, they are absolutely stunning and her initial communication with me was great. My negative experience began when our mail date was pushed back from what was listed on the contract due to a detail of the invitations not arriving on time. While I was super bummed, I understand no one can control USPS. Eventually, I asked for the invitations to be mailed without this detail. Upon receiving the invitations in the mail, the number of seats reserved on the RSVP cards were left blank (this becomes a huge issue when trying to limit the number of people attending) and the stamps utilized were not cohesive with the winter feel of my wedding. I spoke with my planner and she agreed that this wasn't the level of attention to detail that one would hope for when spending over $3,000 on invitations. A few days later, I received an apologetic email from Sam offering a partial refund of $550 for the detail that never arrived, the postage and the RSVP cards... while this amount didn't seem like much compared to what we could spend on extra RSVP's, I thanked her for the apology and partial refund and asked if she would be available for day-of stationery. It was important to me that my day-of items matched the invitations that were sent out. Well, I was then fired and told that she would be unable to help me moving forward. When my planner asked if I could PURCHASE the fonts/prints/etc utilized for my stationery, Sam said no. SO, not only did she fire me due to her mistakes, but, now I won't have cohesive stationery carried throughout my wedding day.
I wouldn't recommend this to any bride.
E+W absolutely nailed it on every aspect for our wedding! We couldn't have been happier with what they produced for us. The entire process was a breeze and Samantha was so quick to edit things and get them back to us. Couldn't recommend them enough!
Lauren with East & West Designs was an absolute dream to work with! I have a very hard time verbalizing ideas that I have in my head to paper but she captured my thoughts perfectly! I was planning my wedding from out of state and she took extra effort to answer all my questions regarding colors, fonts, and papers! She created such beautiful pieces that looks absolutely stunning all together! I will use her for years to come and would recommend her to any bride in the search :)

Working with East+West was an absolute dream! We mostly worked with Lauren and she was so sweet and easy to work with, not to mention they are so dang talented! They created the most beautiful Save the Date cards, Wedding invitations, and Wedding programs for us, and we were so happy with how each one turned out. They mailed everything out for us which made it SO easy during all of the craziness of wedding planning, and we just loved the designs. We would absolutely recommend trusting Lauren + Sam with your wedding paper goods needs!!
They were very professional in everything they did for us. My wife was very particular in what she wanted and Lauren was very accommodating. Amazing product and we had so many compliments from a lot of guests on how awesome our invitations and save the dates were. Highly recommendable.

We truly loved working with Lauren + Sam of East + West to create unique and gorgeous designs for all of our wedding day papery! Although Lauren + Sam have only been in the business for a few years, their work is stellar.
We had an initial consultation with East + West to talk through inspiration, designs, and our wedding vision. Lauren + Sam then worked patiently with us through design revisions until we had the perfect invitation suite! Lauren + Sam bring a fresh yet classic approach to design. They even hand-drew some elements of our designs in addition to offering stunning hand calligraphy envelope addressing. Even though it has been weeks since our wedding, we are still receiving compliments on our beautiful invitations!
Lauren + Sam helped us create cohesive design elements that really shone through on our wedding day - from save the dates, to ceremony programs, to table card numbers, to escort cards, and custom cocktail napkins - East + West can do it all!
We appreciated Lauren's and Sam's creativity, vision, and design aesthetic and would recommend East + West to any couple!

Great, professional company to work with. Not only were their designs beautiful, but they kept refining the invitations until they were perfect. They also have a lot of options to chose from, so you can keep within your budget, or you can go all out!
Lauren and Sam were an absolute dream to work with. I had no idea what I wanted my save the dates or invitations to look like at first. Sam and Lauren were patient with me and took time to listen to what I wanted my big day to be like and were able to design invitations that fit in sooo well with my vision. They are GORGEOUS. I also ended up having to add lots of little bits to my invitation suite as my wedding day got closer, and they were super accommodating and made sure that every little detail was right. E+W is DEFINITELY the best choice for all things stationary!!
Sam and Lauren made the invitations absolutely beautiful. You can’t get this kind of quality on any online site. They helped with everything from wording to getting the color scheme just right. We loved the personalization and high quality of our invitation suite. They also did a great job helping us get beautiful invitations that fit in our budget. Lauren and Sam are a dream team. I haven't even sent out my invitations yet that's how excited I am about them. They are the sweetest ladies around. They will work with you no matter what your budget. They don't have a problem changing the font 6 times because your fiance doesn't like it. LOL. They were so patient and kind. And AMAZING designers. I see a lot of invitation suites, and I can honestly say that mine are by far my FAVORITE. (But I might be a little partial). I will forever work with them, for all of my design needs! THANK YOU Lauren and Sam. you made my invitation dreams come true :)
Lauren was so great to work with! From when we first met I felt like she was a great person and friend. She was always super helpful and responsive to all of my questions and would show me things I hadn’t seen before to make our invitations perfect! I was on vacation when our Save the Dates were ready to send out and she went out of her way to send them herself so I didn’t have to wait or worry about sending them myself! Just shows what type of person she is...a great one! Overall we had a great experience and would highly recommend them! :)
Absolutely loved the save-the-dates and invites East + West did for us! They were so easy to work with and accommodating. They helped my wife and I decide what we wanted our invitations to look like and they turned out great.
Working with these ladies was so easy and simple for our wedding invitations. We met with Sam & Lauren at a coffee shop to get a sense of what we were envisioning although we weren't sure what we wanted at all! They showed us samples of past invites and we pointed out the things we loved and maybe didn't love so much about the different invites. They carefully took note of our feedback and created samples for us. The greatest part is that we didn't have to do ANYTHING at all!!! For a busy bride who travels for work, I could not have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend these ladies for any occasion, not to mention they are so nice and listen to what you have to say!
East and West did a fabulous job with our save the dates and invitations. They responded to my questions quickly and had such creative ideas. Planning a wedding can be so stressful, but East and West definitely helped the process go smoothly! I would highly recommend them to anyone!
East + West was great to work with and I loved the invitations they created for me! They were so helpful throughout the whole process. I had a very vague idea of what I wanted my invitations to look like and Lauren was able to help me narrow down what I wanted and ended up creating the perfect invitation for our wedding.
Very professional, affordable, and helpful! Gave me exactly what I wanted with my invitations and made multiple edits until we got them perfect. Very fast turn around time as well! Love them!
Lauren is amazing to work with! I felt like a pain with all my changes/updates but Lauren was so accommodating and always willing to show options to make it easier to choose a design/text element.

East and West designs made our save the dates and invitations everything that we wanted. Lauren and Sam have a tremendous amount of talent and they were a joy to work with. They were very prompt with returning emails and answering any questions that we had. We met Lauren a few different times and she is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. They both helped us stay in our budget and were openly communicating with us every step of the way. They ensured that we we were happy with the designs and we're willing to change anything that we didn't want or wanted to add. I highly recommend them and look forward to using their design services in the future!
Lauren & Sam were by far one of the best decisions we made for the wedding. They got our invitation vision and executed it flawlessly. Modern, sophisticated designs that were uniquely us. They really brought the WOW factor at a reasonable price. And, at the final stretch of the wedding when there is so much stress, they created all of our final printed items quickly & with ease. Even when I tacked on MORE and MORE they did everything with a smile & grace. In addition to their extreme design & creative talent, they are really great humans. Love working with them. Hope I can again in the future...just not for another wedding :)
We met Lauren and Sam at an Open House our venue had in the Fall. I fell in love with their beautiful examples they had that day, and was impressed by their warm conversation and obvious passion they have for all things beautiful and attention to detail. Fast forward to sending our invitations out 2 weeks ago and they turned out gorgeous. SO many compliments from our guests. The planning process was fun (who knew?!) and their communications was top notch. I'm a busy mom, have a very busy career and planning our wedding was something I wanted to be as stress free as possible, Lauren was beyond flexible with meeting times and places and answered every question I had very promptly. This duo is incredible and I'm so glad we decided to use them for our stationary needs!
Whoa, whoa, whoa! Hold the phone. I cannot believe I have the honor of writing the first review for this amazing company. I have zero affiliation - only admiration. I am a frugal Navy resident physician from California who is blown away by East + West graphic design and printing - they are incredible.
Our story - I joined the Navy and moved to Cali for residency. My husband trains bird hunting dogs and lives outdoors for a living. He came with me to Cali! (insert prayer happy emoji). I wanted enchanted garden wedding glam but also wanted to respect my fiances outdoorsy side (hunting, fishing, woodsy). When we decided to host a destination-esque farm/barn wedding in my parents home town we realized that involves more logistics than your typical wedding (bridal shower, groomsman day, rehearsal dinner, reception (dinner preference), lodging, airport and multiple shuttles). We found that the online invitation industry simply could not meet our detail or RSVP needs... then we found East and West.
How'd we meet - My wedding planner Terrie Applewhite recommended East and West - as a 'beautiful handcrafted invitation we could customize' at no additional cost. and she was right.
The process - I shared a little about myself, a little about my fiance and sent things from pinterest I liked - and they created 3 truly magical and original invitation design styles. I would have been over the top with any of the three but picked our favorite. They also for a small price addressed all the invites in a gorgeous calligraphy (worth it). Once we picked our design, we went back and forth on the wording and rendition of all the detail invitation and layout. We easily sent 30 emails to perfect the product.
The kicker - LOVE WHAT THEY DO! and honored every request with a smile.
The result - Every guest told me how gorgeous they were, even the men... the men loved the antlers, the women loved the beautiful hand drawn flowers and greenery with gorgeous font... the literal/logical men and women just were glad to have all the information. WE loved the flexible RSVP so we could reserve what we needed for the events.
I continue - everyone asked who made these invitations? and guess what... they didn't know because they didn't require a business stamp on the invite. even though I would allow it because SO MANY of my guests wanted to know.
Bottom line - your search is over. I simply cannot recommend enough. great family business. great customer service. great attention to detail. great artistic talent. great price.
