I was married in the Vineyard at East Wind and the day was just absolutely magical! The entire staff was AMAZING and so on point. They made the entire day stress free and it went better than I could have imagined. Not only are they like a well oiled machine but everyone from my salesperson to my maitre d to the waitstaff were the epitome of professionalism and kindness. I cannot say enough amazing things about them ♥️
Fab was my bridal attendant and she was way more than just a bridal attendant - you were my calm in every storm, my confidante, and my friend. Your kindness, patience, and attention to detail made me feel like royalty on my special day, From lace adjustments to emotional support, you were there for me every step of the way. I'm forever grateful! You went above and beyond, anticipating my every need and exceeding my expectations. Your dedication and passion for your work shine through in every aspect. I highly recommend Fab for any bride seeking top-notch support and expertise.
Working with Nicole at East Wind was a dream, and having inclusive vendors in the package really helped, although we did have a tough time communicating with some of the chosen vendors. Our maitre d Tony was so helpful and great to work with, as was our bridal attendant on the day. I think the only real complaint is that we were assured all our decor etc would be packed up after the wedding for us to collect the morning after, but as soon as the wedding ended our things were packed up and we were asked immediately to get everything out of the bridal suite and venue into our hotel room that night, which was a stressful and sad way to end the evening carrying boxes and packing things in our wedding outfits! It really put a dampener on things, so that’s something to be aware of.
Any questions?
We got married at The Estate and there are not enough wonderful things I can say about the staff at East Wind.
Jennifer was our salesperson and she was a dream to work with! She was so responsive to all of our questions and is just one of the nicest, most bubbly people! She checked in with us a few times throughout the actual day of our wedding and we even saw her the next morning. She took the time to congratulate us, make sure our night went well, and give us big hugs. We loved her!
Our maitre d was Tony and I can see why he consistently gets fantastic reviews in this group/other bride groups! Him and his staff were on top of everything. Between making dropping off all of our decor so easy, setting it all up BEAUTIFULLY, ensuring us and our guests had everything we needed, and just being a warm presence, he helped make our day run so smoothly. If you’re getting married at The Estate, you are in great hands!
Marylou was our bridal attendant and in addition to making sure my husband and I had everything we needed/wanted, she is an ABSOLUTE sweetheart. She was so attentive! The second I’d finish my drink, I’d turn around and she’d have a new one waiting for me. She made sure we got to try/take home all of our food, and that we had everything before we left. I cannot get over how wonderful she was.
Our guests raved about the food and the service all night. We are so so so happy that we chose East Wind!
The Estate at East Wind is an Amazing venue with beautiful grounds for photographers. The wedding was absolutely the best. From the set-up, to the food, to the services from the staff. Also, a big shout out to the Banquet Manager Nicole McGregor. She was great from start to finish. And she even showed up at the event to check in on everything. Everyone just completely catered to all of our needs.
We had the great privilege of working with Joe for our wedding on 09/13/24. From the very beginning, he treated us like family and was always available to assist with anything we needed. He responded quickly to all of our questions, making the entire process stress-free. Our wedding day was perfect.
Our Maitre D, Reid, was AMAZING—he was incredibly attentive to my husband, me, and all our guests throughout the entire day. The vineyard was stunning, the food was delicious, and the service was phenomenal. We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect wedding day! Thank you so much, EastWind!
We got married on 9/21/2024 at the Eastwind . We cannot thank them enough for everything from the ceremony down to the reception. Our maitre d Tara and her assistant Fabiola were incredible. Every time I turned around they were with a helping hand ! Every detail was amazing just how we envisioned it to be !
Thank you Thank you and Thank you again 😘😘
My husband and I got married in the outside garden, and my reception was in the veranda room. It was absolutely perfect. I would not change a single thing. My event planner Jennifer was amazing. She was available to me for every question I had within the hour. My maître de Tony and my bridal attendant Tara and Alyssa were all absolutely incredible. Stressful as a wedding can be the three of them were just so calming. They absolutely made me feel stress free. There was never a time my glass was empty and there was never a time I felt lost and not knowing what to do. They were right there by my side, making it as easy as possible with even some laughs to help us loosen up and I absolutely adore them for that! My mom, my 3 girls and myself stayed in the hotel the night before my wedding and it was absolutely wonderful The hotel is beautiful. The ceremony space is beautiful. The reception room is beautiful and I have got nothing but compliments on how beautiful the whole night was. AND extra points for letting our dog come to the ceremony!!
Our wedding at The Vineyard at East Wind was one of the most incredible experiences of our lives!!! Jennifer, the events manager was amazing to work with and answered all of our questions with ease any time questions came up. She was always available and just an overall pleasure to work with. We really could not be happier with how our day went. Reid was our maitred and he was phenomenal. He made us very comfortable and took care of everything from start to finish for a seamless day. He made sure to help with our handicap grandparents and was so helpful to us the entire day. My bridal attendant was wonderful, the bartenders were amazing and there was hardly ever a line at the bar. My husband and I always had a full drink and water and for cocktail hour we had a table reserved with all of the food options delivered right to us. I can’t say enough good things about East Wind! We used Life Art photographers and they were phenomenal. From the second we met Anthony for our engagement shoot we knew we were in great hands. Him and his partner Holden captured everything we wanted for our special day. If I could give everyone 20 stars at East Wind, I would!! Thank you!!!!
Don't use this vendor if you are Gluten Free, have Celiacs or other Dietary needs.
My daughter and son-in-law just got married at east wind August 24, 2024. From the beginning my daughter communicated to the sales rep that her future husband and his father have Celiac and will need to have Gluten Free options for both cocktail hour and dinner. It was written on the contract. The day of the wedding came. The groom and father of the groom were starving by the time cocktail hour came. They put the groom and my daughter in this tiny room for cocktail hour and proceeded to bring the groom a plate from cocktail hour - not gluten free. He returned it and said no he has Celiac and needs gluten free. They brought him a plate full of Mashed Potatoes from cocktail hour which were specifically added to accommodate the gluten free need. When they brought him that plate it had French Fries on it. Contaminating the Mashed Potatoes. Next - they had the chef make him gluten free pasta but by then, cocktail hour was over, the groom had maybe 2 bites. They brought him his dinner but by then he was skeptical if it was truly gluten free. Next - my daughter made sure there was a gluten free cake that was supposed to be on the table next to the traditional wedding cake. This was the cake to be cut and fed to each other when they cut it. It went missing. She knew it was delivered because she talked to the vendor. Long and behold cake cutting was late as the maitre 'd went to go find it. This venue doesn't know how to communicate the dietary needs of the most important people the wedding is about. When everyone (myself, husband, daughter) talked to the venue they admitted fault and the first offer they wanted to give them was 4 tickets to brunch! Brunch! THE GROOM IS GLUTEN FREE. Are you kidding? They told my daughter they would refund 200.00 and that was it. Note to self: Just because something is on the contract with this venue expect that something will fall through. They and the groom and his dad are just lucky no one got sick from THEIR mistake.
Life art Photographers are amazing and they took really incredible pictures of our wedding. They are very professional and very patient and they captured each moment of our special day.
I had an amazing wedding at East Wind! My husband and I are thrilled at how it turned out. East Wind delivered on everything they advertised. The food was delicious, well presented, and plentiful. There are so many food choices included, along with an opportunity to personalize the cocktail hour. They also included two signature drinks! One feature we really liked is that guests were offered seconds and could select to try another entree if they wished. The building and room is beautiful. Scott and Nicole were great at answering questions promptly throughout the months leading up to the wedding and were always enthusiastic about helping me. They made the final details before the wedding simple and smooth. Our maitre d Joe met with us a few days before the wedding to go over details and get a sense of how we wanted the day to go. He was amazing on the wedding day along with my bridal attendant. They took care of everything so that my husband and I could relax and enjoy. My family and friends had a great time and several have said it is the best wedding they have ever been to! We are so happy we chose East Wind! We stayed at the hotel that night which was so convenient and had our post wedding brunch there with family the next day. Some of our guests stayed at the hotel which was also convenient. We selected a Deluxe Viennese dessert enhancement. I would highly recommend. Our guests can’t stop talking about it!
Everyone at the East Wind- from our sales manager Nicole to our maître d' Joe- was an absolute pleasure to work with. Our bridal attendant was Barbara and she was great as well. Every single question I had, no matter how small, Nicole was there to answer ASAP. The space was beautiful. They have installed uplighting that projects on the chandeliers and it made for some amazing pics. We wanted an outdoor ceremony but opted for indoors due to drizzle and the indoor space needs zero additional decor, nor does the lobby really, as everything was beautiful and I didn’t fret with the last minute change. The grounds are well kept too! Also, these guys are your "yes men" as in whatever you want they will make it work. At 11:50PM I decided I wanted to keep the party going when it was supposed to end at 12. Joe immediately took care of what needed to be done and we made the payment and stayed till 1AM. Don’t get me started on the food too. The cocktail hour is EXTENSIVE and all my guests raved about it. Barbara also made sure we had enough of it to eat immediately after the ceremony. The main dishes (which I did get to taste) were SO delicious, the steak and chicken were perfectly cooked and so juicy. All of our guests were offered seconds too. The cherry on top of my experience actually occurred after my wedding. I noticed weeks later (went on the HM the day after) that a personalized sign we had was missing (decor was packed up by them). I contacted Nicole and she was able to locate it with Joe and they shipped it to me for free!! What AMAZING customer service!
Our wedding was seriously the best day of our lives and everyone at East Wind was professional, reliable and a huge help. Jennifer was our point person throughout the planning process and was a pleasure to work with. Her quick communication and friendliness made the process stress free.
The day of our wedding, we were in the best hands with Joe, our Maitre D, and Barbara, our bridal attendant. Everything truly was flawless, I can’t think of one thing that went wrong. Both Joe and Barbara were phenomenal and helped everything run smoothly. I had no nerves or anxiety because they were on point. I can’t say enough good things about both of them.
The spa was so convenient and amazing for our bridal party hair and makeup. Additionally, the Inn was accommodating and everyone enjoyed their stay.
I would recommend East Wind to anyone looking for a PERFECT wedding venue.
We were originally scheduled to have our wedding at Miller Place Inn. 80 Days before our wedding we received the notice that MPI closed. To say we were in crisis mode is an understatement. That being said, East Wind was nothing but a miracle. We worked with Jennifer and Rob and the entire staff at East Wind was so accommodating, helpful and overall a happy, energetic bunch. They always made you feel like family when you were there. The property is breathtaking! We we had our first look at the front round about, ceremony in the outdoor chapel, and cocktail/reception in the Veranda Room. Tony (Maitre 'D), Tara (Bridal Attend), and Joey (Captain) went above and beyond the entire day to make everything perfect.
My husband and I just had our wedding two weeks ago in the updated Veranda Room at East Wind and from start to finish, our day was perfect! We worked with Nicole McGregor (Events Manger) who was an absolute dream! I think I sent her multiple emails a week and she was always there to answer any question and help every step of the way! Our Maitre’d Joe was amazing, he kept the whole night running smoothly. Our Bridal Attendant Barbara was so fantastic! We keep hearing from friends and family about how amazing the food was and what a great time they had! We are so grateful for all their hard work!!
Our wedding, which was in October of 23', from start to finish was incredible! Jennifer was an amazing coordinator who answered any and all of my questions! She was incredible to work with and very knowledgable in guiding us throughout the whole process. Our ceremony was supposed to be outside, however weather did not permit this to happen so we had our ceremony in the space downstairs which was all done up and just as gorgeous as the outside ceremony space! We were in the Veranda room which was absolutely stunning! Our guests are still raving about the space and delicious food! There are not enough good things I can say about this incredible spot! The all inclusive package made everything so worth it and gave us plenty of options! We are so thankful to all the staff at East Wind for our incredible time there! We want to relive it over and over again!
Our wedding at The East Wind was an absolute DREAM come true. When reading reviews, the ones that really stood out were the ones about Jennifer. We booked an appointment and she greeted us with her amazing smile and extremely outgoing personality. She felt like family (and quickly became part of it). She listened to what we wanted, learned about us & never ever pushed us one way or another. She came back with options that she felt worked for us. We quickly decided this was the place for us.
We didn’t want a long engagement & we signed our contract to have our wedding in the Northampton Ballroom on 11.11.22 for our wedding on 11.11.23. We felt the price was affordable and we were getting SO much for our money.
Jennifer is a GREAT communicator, too great if you ask me. I would have to yell at her for answering my emails on her days off. When we were reaching our final appointment I was starting to get frazzled. I was emailing Jenn on different email chains with different questions. Even though she says I didn’t drive her crazy, I know I did. I will forever be grateful for her help in bringing our vision of a perfect day to life.
There are always hiccups, however, Jennifer took any troubles we were having, assured us they would be taken care of by her personally, and they were. We never felt that we were on our own.
We met our Maitre D’ Scott at our final appointment. He listened to our vision for the day, worked with us to ensure it would all be executed FLAWLESSLY & he came through. All the planning and little details were getting us too frazzled. We communicated best we could & just let go. We let Scott work his magic, & he made it one thousand times better than we could ever imagined. We both cried seeing the room for the first time.
Desmond’s - To make things even easier for us (annoying right?) they has an on site restaurant that we decided to have our rehearsal dinner in the night before. We worked with Rob. He helped us pick the menu that worked best for us. We weren’t rushed, & they let us enjoy ourselves. We invited our families for brunch the morning after the wedding & we had a great time. We stayed from basically open to close of the buffet, & just reminisced about the night before. Which EVERYONE loved.
We both decided to stay in the inn the night before the wedding. We wanted to keep tradition and not see or even speak to each other the day of the wedding. Lauren made sure we were on separate floors, & in areas we wouldn’t run in to each other. All of our guests who stayed in the inn raved about their rooms & loved the accommodations. They only let you book 10 rooms within a block, which wasn’t ideal for us. We understood we picked a popular day, & there were other weddings going on in other rooms, which had NO impact on us, by the way.
Fab, or bridal attendant is amazing. She ALWAYS made sure we had a drink in our hand, & made sure we were staying hydrated too. My wife had 35 bustles on her dress. As our guests enjoyed cocktail hour, she worked on this dress while my wife and I enjoyed the food they brought to our bridal suite. Fab still made sure we were able to get to the cocktail hour and see our guests.
The family we have made here will always have a special place in our hearts. We will always be grateful for how they made us feel & the love they showered us with.
Jennifer, let’s get planning on the baby showers, christenings, & vow renewals ASAP!
We wed at the Vineyard at East Wind in October and we had the picture perfect wedding day. The grounds are immaculately groomed and the landscaping is breathtaking. From the moment you enter the vineyard, you'll know you made the right choice. The food is excellent as the staff so attentive, professional and caring. My guests still haven't stopped talking about our wedding and quite a few of them have stated that is where they would like their wedding to be. A hug shoutout to Jennifer M., Joe C., Joey Bowtie and Barbara - they are the ones who brought us through step one till the end without a hitch! I really hope to be a guest at a wedding there soon!
East Wind was incredible! The staff was amazing and attentive and made everything magical. The Maitre' D "Joe" brought my vision to life! The food was amazing and the bakery they used for our cake OMG!! Everyone was so sweet and amazing, I can not recommend East Wind more!! Nicole McGregor was our event manager and she is so full of life and so sweet and helpful!! THE BEST!!
We took the package (photo/video, dj, florist) for the Veranda room. We spent the whole weekend (Fri-Sun) out here with our families. It was so nice to have everyone together in the hotel all weekend, it was like the party never ended! Went in the pool, had some drinks/food with live music at the bar, got ready the morning of in our rooms, enjoyed walking the shops, delicious Sunday brunch. Our photos in the room and all around the hotel/property were stunning with all the Christmas decor. Rooms were nice and clean, they worked with us whenever we needed to add rooms to our block or make any changes. Just the fact that everything was all in one the whole weekend made it worth it.
Tara our maitre’d, Marylou our bridal attendant, Sadie our bridal attendant in training shadowing Marylou. All were amazing, helped our reception run so smoothly, were so helpful to my husband and me. Especially Marylou and Sadie their attitude was basically that everything is great, my husband and I could do no wrong, and no request was unreasonable.
East Wind exceeded all expectations! With the capacity to accommodate our large guest list, they created an incredible experience for us. The food was not only amazing but tailored to perfection, satisfying every palate. The exceptional staff (Shout out to Jennifer, Tony, and Tara) played a pivotal role in making our day the best it could be. From start to finish, this venue proved to be the ideal choice for a memorable and seamless wedding. Highly recommend for a truly special celebration!
East Wind did a great job with our wedding on 10/28/23. Everything went seamless and we worried about nothing. They even came up with a last minute solution when we realized that we had forgotten to bring a card box. We had a great time, and so did all of our guests. The food and service was wonderful
I cannot fathom the idea of another bride going through what I did. If you have any self respect, don't choose East Wind!
They sell an all-inclusive package that doesn't include:
Digital version of photos ($250)
Centerpieces past 10 ($35 per)
Flowers
Ceremony ($1600)
Ceremony and cocktail hour music + MC ($900)
Golf cart use
Getting ready at venue ($250 per 1/2 hour)
Tips ($1,175 + vendors)
The venue tour is full of lies:
They say you can use the golf cart to take carousel pics, but they wouldn't let us use it)
They say the provided flowers can be removed but they won't let you take them down.
Digital versions of photos are NOT included in package
Moving on...They closed their bakery 1 month before the wedding and offered to switch my order to another bakery. No tasting and EW would not provide an order confirmation. I had to call the bakery myself in order to make sure the order was correct...AND THEY STILL MESSED IT UP. The cake was made the wrong flavor. This is exactly why I was uncomfortable going with a bakery I hadn't used before, I bought my engagement party cake from EW's bakery so I would know what I was getting and EW ruined that. AND the sales team tried to lie and say the bakery chose to close, but someone at the bakery told me EW shut them down.
We were told 10-12 people per table for the reception at our original meeting, then 8-10, then 8-12. Ended up being 9-12!
When we paid in full our receipt was accompanied by an envelope stating we were EXPECTED to tip them $1,175 (not in our contract). One week later they leave a voicemail stating that they messed up the final bill and will just run my credit card for the remaining amount since I didn't answer the phone. When I called back they had already charged my card for over $800 and were only willing to cancel the charge if I brought them the amount in cash within the next few days.
I show up to the rehearsal to discover the venue is still decorated from the last wedding. I inquire and discover that they changed their permanent outdoor display to a hideous array of CLEARLY FAKE flowers (see photo). I start crying because my vision of my wedding is ruined (I handmade all of my florals) and the Maitre'd says something to the affect of "are you done, I'm trying to run a rehearsal."
Scott promises maintenance will remove the flowers by 7am the next day (day of wedding), we arrive around 9am and my father-in-law has to take them down himself and replace them with our decorations just hours before the ceremony because EW won't (also tried to tell him he wasn't allowed to take them down). Back to the rehearsal...after the fiasco outside, we go in to set up the reception space. The Maitre'd abandons us, leaving me, an already distraught bride to discover they are short on tables. My mother actually had to go downstairs and tell him to go up and help us.
Then during the wedding the MC forgets to announce one of the groomsmen and they can't make the signature drink (which was ordered 3 months prior) because they don't have Blue Curacao (they didn't even tell me, I found out from a guest).
Finally, the morning after the wedding we were rudely awoken around 8am by an EW management pounding on the door to kick us out of the hotel. A shitty end to shitty service!
The whole process from beginning to end was amazing! Jennifer was our coordinator and Scott was the maitre'd and they were both just so helpful and kind. My now husband (ahhh!!) and I could not recommend them more. Our guests are still raving about everything from the space and how beautiful it was, to the food! The food is something we're getting so many compliments on, both the quality and the quantity!
the Estate @ Eastwind, Long Island: exceeded my expectations- beautiful venue, heard the food was AWESOME - when it’s your wedding, you THINK you’ll eat, but I’m telling you… you don’t. I’m the biggest foodie- I love to eat but.. the overwhelmed feeling kills your appetite. ASK FOR A LITTLE BIT OF EVERYTHING FROM COCKTAIL HOUR TO TAKE HOME (a regret of mine) & one of each entree. You’ll want to eat it in the morning! Jennifer was my sales manager, and she was a pleasure- very easy going, and quickly replied to all of my crazy 3 am emails when I couldn’t sleep and was stressed about silly things. Tony was my maitre d & Mary Lou was my bridal attendant. I didn’t see Tony for much of the night, but it all ran so smoothly, and I set up my lobby because I have OCD, and controlling issues- but I can’t think of any complaints. Mary Lou was AMAZING and on top of everything the entire time. I never DIDN’T have a nice, cold drink in hand. However, we brought a LOT of liquor because we wanted specific types that didn’t come on the package we got. And not ONE liquor bottle was given back to us. I know for a fact the guests didn’t go through all of the liquor we brought, but I was told they would’ve packed it for me if there was any left….
I am giving East Winds 5 stars because our day was absolutely INCREDIBLE! The staff, service, and food was amazing and our guests were raving about it from start to finish. We got married 9/15/23 in the Northampton courtyard and had our cocktail hour/reception in the ballrooms afterwards. The courtyard and the entire ceremony ran so smoothly. The cocktail hour was HUGE and we didn't pay any extra. The amount of food you get within your package is absolutely more than enough. At the reception they even came around with SECONDS of dinner for our guests to choose from. Our Maitre D Joe Caserta was awesome and did everything I asked him too, plus so much more. Our salesperson was Melissa and we also got to work with Joey Bowties. The three of them are such an asset to East Wind and made our day amazing. We cannot thank then enough!
I would tell anyone to book East Wind. They have plenty of different space options, there is something for everyone and you truly cannot beat their package of vendors and what they offer, especially being on Long Island!
We had our wedding at the Vineyard and it was truly magical. Our sales managers (TK and Scott) were phenomenal and our maitre D (Reid) and bridal assistant (Andrea) were such a pleasure to work with. All staff is extremely professional and made all of my dreams come true. I wanted to do things a little non traditional and they worked with me every step of the way to make it happen! The food at cocktail hour and reception was just outstanding. All of our guests raved about it and no one went home hungry. We had our after party and welcome drinks at Desmond’s which was so easy and accommodating!! I was so thrilled with the way everything turned out!! If you want a rustic wedding vibe with a hotel, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in the same place book east wind! The one thing I will mention is that each wedding is only allowed 10 rooms for a room block which was not enough for our immediate family and bridal party so we had to block out some other local hotels but this is understandable as they have other weddings on site!
We had our wedding at East Wind in March and it was fantastic! Our guests couldn’t get over the amount of food and quality! They offered seconds at dinner! Jennifer, our sales manager, was such a pleasure to work with and she made wedding planning so easy. Tara and Reid made sure the night went smoothly, if you’re thinking about having your wedding at East Wind, know you’re in good hands.
2 weeks married! Wanted to share what an amazing job that East Wind did for our wedding. It truly was the most perfect day and I would not change a thing. From the moment we booked until we checked out of the hotel the morning after our wedding, East Wind was nothing short of perfect. They communicated quickly and answered our questions promptly leading up to the weeks before our day. They executed our vision perfectly and all of our guests had an incredible time. The food from start to finish is incredible, one of the best parts about East Wind is they come around with second helpings of the entrees. My guests cannot stop talking about how incredible that was. I have severe allergies and the entire staff made sure that all food was allergen free- I had zero worries the day of the wedding. The staff was extremely professional day of the wedding! I truly would not change a thing. Having the hotel and our after party in the same location was such a selling point to us- they truly are THE spot to have our wedding! If you are already booked with them, you are in incredible hands. My sales contact was Jennifer- she is incredible at her job. Day of Tony was our matire'd, he simply runs the smoothest show and keeps the bride calm. I would trust him with my life. Mary Lou was our bridal attendant and she is one of the kindest humans I have ever met, she truly loves love and it radiates throughout the whole day. I would choose East Wind over and over.
Response from the Vendor on 01/24/2023
Hi Rebecca - Thank you so much for choosing East Wind and sharing your experience. Wishing you many years of wedding bliss. Congratulations!
Had the BEST day ever!! Everything went so smoothly, it was decorated beautifully as well! We had the best of the best staff wise-Scott was our Maitre-d and I cannot say enough good things about him. Fabiola was an amazing bridal attendant, very attentive. We loved every minute of our day and are so glad we chose to have it at Eastwind.
Absolutely a fantastic job.
The wedding planner (Jen), the Maitre D (Joe), the bridal attendant (Tara) were unbelievable and helped make our daughter's day. Although I forgot some names, the bartender, servers, photography and DJ's were all top shelf. The food and deserts were amazing and plentiful.
East Wind Brides are in great hands!
During our 2 years of planning, I was honestly really nervous. Our sales manager changed 4 times. Every time they changed, we weren't notified. We had to find out through Facebook after our emails went unanswered for a while. That was extremely frustrating, but I have to say the problems with East Wind begin and end at the sales office. Put your trust in them, meet your deadlines, follow instructions, and they will execute your day perfectly! From the second we checked into the hotel the Friday before our wedding, we didn't hear the word "no" once. Tony and Mary Lou were absolute pleasures to work with, and not only did Tony bring my vision to life, he put me at so much ease with his calm and friendly demeanor. Mary Lou is the sweetest, most attentive woman on the planet. She is like a "day of mom" to the whole wedding party -- my own mom included. Everytime my drink was a quarter full, I had a new one in my hand. She made sure me, my husband, and our immediate families were completely taken care of. I can't thank the staff at EW enough for how amazing our day turned out. They're phenomenal at what they do.
I am giving 4 stars due to the communication with Sales during the planning phase, that REALLY needs to be addressed. The weekend of was absolutely perfect.
We just got married at the estate at east wind! Its a beautiful venue and we had such a memorable wedding day!! Tony was our maitre D and he was absolutely amazing. We are so thankful to have had him by our side! He was so nice, helpful and answered any questions we had. He took care of us to make sure we stayed stress free! And The night flowed so nicely. Thanks again Tony!
Our bridal attendant mayra was super sweet and helpful as well. She made sure we had food and drinks and also bustled my complicated bustle!! Such Great staff!
As cheesy as it sounds, I wish I could give more than 5 stars. My husband and I were married on 10/9/22 at the vineyard and were blown away by how wonderful the staff was. Our banquet manager was Scott, and he made us feel comfortable and confident in our choices, and laid everything out for us in a way that was easy to understand and no-nonsense. Reid was our Maitre’d, and Andrea was our bridal attendant. Both were exceptional, and catered to our needs without being ontop of us all night. The decorations were assembled in the reception space exactly how we had described during our details appointment, and Andrea even fixed the button on my husband’s tuxedo when it popped off! Highly recommend, and do not have a single negative thing to say about our entire wedding process. We are forever grateful that they made our day truly special!
My husband and I were married at East Wind in September 2022. It's hard to find the words to describe how wonderful our experience has been. After meeting the Sales Manager, Jennifer everything just fell into place. Let's face it, planning a wedding is a lot of work. The stress of even finding a venue was a lot for us. We personally were faced with venues not being transparent about their availability and giving us the run around about dates they had open. The frustration was starting already and up until we had our meeting with Jennifer, I was beginning to lose steam. She was open, honest, and transparent about availability, pricing, and packages... Honey, everything you wanted to know she knew. Not to mention she was an absolute angel on earth. She doesn't have to tell you, you just know she loves what she does. Her passion comes out when she talks about your wedding… when she helps you visualize it and then struts you around like you own the joint. She was my #1 hype woman. She personally made me feel so special about this momentous event, and again with all the planning, you can sometimes lose focus on how exciting it really is. I can't speak more highly on East Wind. I loved that they had everything included and it was just picking out what we wanted. There was only one little hiccup with an included vendor that Jennifer and the team went out of their way to remedy for me. That was huge. I had an issue, I reached out and they handled it timely and respectfully. I popped in a few times prior to my event to see the beautiful renovations to our space. We were welcomed not only by Jennifer but by the operations manager, Joe. Joe is another one that made this experience so wonderful for us. He went out of his way throughout this process to make sure we were happy with every single thing we wanted. However, he did it with such kindness and commitment. We never once felt like he was just doing it because “It was his job”. He really cared- and we knew that. Scott our Maitre D was a true professional. He brought our vision to life and we loved how seamless the day of went. Our bridal attendant Mayra was so wonderful. She was so sweet and attentive- we really appreciated her being with us! We even took a picture together in our photobooth that we LOVE.
This wedding process for me has been so wonderful. From the very beginning in planning and choosing who I would use, I told myself that I wanted everything to be a special experience. This is my wedding- I wanted to feel like the people who were helping me were in it for the right reasons- I didn't want to feel like I was bothering them when I called or that they were too busy to chat. We hit the lotto at EW, they have a stacked team of professional, loving, and committed people. At my last appointment with Jennifer, it felt so bittersweet. These have been MY people and we had reached the end, yet the beginning of a beautiful life with my now husband. We thank them from the bottom of our hearts for making this time so special for us.
I'm so happy we chose The Estate at East Wind for our wedding venue! Everything was perfect and we could not have asked for a better day! We got so many compliments on the food, we loved the cocktail hour and reception spaces, and having the hotel right next door made the experience very convenient for our guests. Everyone we worked with was extremely accommodating and attentive including our sales rep, Jennifer; our Maitre D, Tony; and our bridal attendant, Mary Lou. They truly made the experience special and helped the day run smoothly. I would highly recommend East Wind for your special day!
We couldn’t have been happier choosing East Wind for our wedding venue. The whole process was seamless, from planning through the wedding day itself. Jennifer made our lives easy leading up to the wedding and their staff was incredible on the day of our wedding. Incredible service, delicious food, and great attitudes from the whole staff allowed us to truly enjoy our special day.
If you are looking for a place to get married, East Wind is the place!
We could not have picked a better venue for our dream day! From the look, to the ease, to the surplus of tasty dishes, they were outstanding. I have severe medical issues that required special arrangements. Not once, was I made to feel like an inconvenience, or embarrassed. They are VERY good with food allergy safety! This is a big deal! They also were receptive to me needing the staff masked inside our room. They even had the bridal attendant and Maître d' take a test that morning. They were so supportive and helpful when we learned the morning before that my father tested Positive for COVID-19, and thus could not attend. We were able to work out a few pictures outside with a safe distance between me and my father. We had Tara as our maître d'. She was fantastic! She knew what had to be done, and executed it flawlessly. She made our vision come to life, and made us feel at ease. My bridal attendant was Maira, she was like a best friend I knew forever, while remaining professional at the same time. I could not have been any more comfortable with her. I was not concerned about a thing. And, when I got a little teary eyed saying goodbye to my father, she was the first one to hand me a tissue and immediately make me laugh, to support me. She and Tara kept me us informed, comfortable, and happy all day and night. They were a terrific team! I also have to mention another person who I believe no longer works there, but was such an integral part to our planning. We eventually worked with salesperson Christi after a few changes at the venue. She was outstanding, and I just felt wrong not mentioning how her help made us be able to get to our day safely. We will be back.
P.S. EVERYONE is still raving about the food to anyone who will listen!
I had my daughter's wedding at East Wind Vineyards Sunday May 29, 2022. We picked the venue for the beautiful outdoor garden setting and the desire to do everything from one location. We stayed at the hotel and the bridal party was able to do hair and makeup on site at the Spa. They all loved the result. The food was great. Not just for a wedding but great food overall. We utilized the recently renovated Vineyard setting. Cocktail hour in one building with nice outdoor seating. Then a short walk to the newly decorated reception building. Special thanks to Reid our Maitre'd, He was very attentive and made sure everything flowed properly. from the introductions through making sure what we needed to pick up the next day was ready. Barbara, the Bridal Assistant, attended to my daughter's needs all night. My daughter said having Barbara there just made everything easier and less stressful. Reid's staff was great and my guests commented on
how professionally everything was done. So...if you want a spot where the reception will be great, a garden setting and offers a one location stop East Wind is the place to go.
We found package deal very reasonable. The Florist, With All My Heart, were very helpful and friendly. The bakery, Carousel Bakery, made us a special cake which was outstanding and Athena was delightful to work with.
Beautiful place! Thank you to East Wind for doing it all to ensure we had an amazing wedding day! From day one to even beyond, East Wind staff treated us like family. Special Thanks to Penny, TK, and Reid at East Wind for all their assistance on our wedding planning, day of, and our hiccups, we greatly appreciate you!
Estate at east wind
Had my wedding the day before Easter. East Wind was on point and didn’t miss a beat for anything. My Maître d tony, was amazing. We didn’t do a rehearsal, but tony made sure everyone knew what they were doing and when they were doing it. I didn’t have to worry about a thing knowing he was handling the event. The cocktail hour was amazing, my guests keep raving about the different stations, the extravagant set up of every station all the way down to the small details. The Chef really out did himself with the food. It was an insane amount of food. I’ve been to other weddings and haven’t seen this much food being served at cocktail ours. My bridal attendant was Mary Lou and she was better than I could expect. My mom was very nervous about bustling my dress and Mary Lou handled it so well. I never had an empty hand. She even had bud lights waiting for us after our ceremony. She calmed us down, made sure we had a minute to ourselves before we met our guests. I can’t thank her enough for how amazing she was. The rest of the staff was on point from what my family and friends have told me. Every table had only good things to share about the service they received. The bartenders were making good drinks and even played along with our “signature drink” which was icing our bridal party. Guests continue to tell us how amazing of a wedding this was, and I can’t stop praising east wind and the job they did. 10/10 would recommend and I can’t wait to be a guest at my friend and cousins weddings at East wind that are coming up this year.
Rehearsal dinner
Had my rehearsal dinner at Ruggeros. It was amazing. From the food to the drinks to Alyssa the manager making sure everything was taken care of. The servers were all on point. We had the private room in the back, which was so nice, and my guests were able to go right outside if they needed to. The chef even went out of his way to make my grandma a plain piece of salmon because she can’t eat much or have any seasoning. 10/10 would recommend Ruggeros to anyone looking for a rehearsal dinner.
Carousel bake shop
Carousel did my groomsmen cake, as well as my wedding cake. I gave the baker m idea for the groom’s men cake, and she took It and ran. It was a Jets jersey, and it came out so realistic. My husband loved it and didn’t even want to cut into it. Just wanted to keep looking at it. For my wedding cake I let the baker use her creativity and do whatever she wanted. This was the best idea I could have had. She brought out the most amazing, and delicious cake I could never have dreamed of. I highly recommend carousel bake shop to anyone looking for any type of cake. 10/10
Front desk
Front desk
Being that we had the rehearsal dinner here, most of my guests stayed both Friday and Saturday night. The Hotel manager, Luisa was on point. I have a bit of a momzilla, and Luisa was able to calm her down and help her organize all the front desk bags for check in. She also made sure all of my guests’ rooms were near one another and that my room and the grooms room weren’t near each other. She was super helpful and you can’t beat the rates we got. The next day we attended easter brunch and it weas phenomenal.
The East Wind is amazing! I got married at the Estate and it could not have been better. The room was beautiful. Our Sunday wedding with our package deal was remarkable and our guests cannot stop talking about it! East wind gave us a great deal and worked with us through the pandemic. My sales rep Jennifer was a pleasure to work with in preparation for the event. Then our Maitre D, Tony, was great keeping our event running smoothly. Our bridal attendant, Mary Lou was OUTSTANDING. She catered to us all night. We even ended up going to Desmond’s in the Inn for three hours after the wedding and when everyone was tired they had the ability to go to the room block which was super convenient. Overall, I am so happy we chose to get married there!!
We had the most beautiful wedding at East Wind in March 2022 and everything was wonderful! Jennifer Mclaughlin was our wedding coordinator and helped us get everything in place in a very short timeframe and was amazing! She was professional, kind, helpful, responsive, and courteous! She is an asset to your business! We could not have done this without her! Our maître d, Joe, was spectacular and the staff was attentive and took care of guests wonderfully. We had so many compliments on how great the staff was. It was a professional and smooth event! Thank you!
Our wedding was this past May. We were postponed from covid. The people we dealt with were friendly and nice. We booked the estate, which was beautiful. However it poured the day of and about 25 mins from the start of our ceremony they were setting up indoors. Cocktail hour we were missing some passed h’ourderves and we also upgraded one of them which was pretty pricey and I just recently found out only 2 people saw them come out. During the reception our guests were not offered seconds st all which was stated in the contract. And 2 out of 15 tables were given the passed desserts. I was not made aware of any of this until recently. I don’t know if they dropped the ball because of Covid but after all the money we spent and planning I was pretty devastated to hear this from quite a few of our guests.
My husband and I went to East Wind as the first venue to check out from the list we had, as we drove off we immediately called Jennifer, and said yes to the venue. Jen is absolutely incredible, bubbly, fun, and detailed, everything you need to make the wedding jitters disappear! Our original date was 11/27/2020 but with covid we decided to postpone, we were so worried but regardless of the stresses she must’ve been going through, she managed to get us in exactly a year from our original date as we wanted our wedding the day after thanksgiving. No problem at all! Thought that year there was constant communication, and I felt like a weight was off my shoulders. Fast forward, before our wedding on 11/26/21, I met with Luis my Maître d’, since our deist meeting I knew he was the perfect fit and I trusted him wholeheartedly, and my god was I right in doing so! Luis is professional, has years of experience, detailed, we laughed, we cried, between him and Jen we created an unbreakable bond! They both executed every detail I envisioned, even more than I imagined! Our wedding day came, and the weather wasn’t the best, in fact it was freezing cold! We wanted a ceremony outside but no way would we do that under those conditions. I asked Luis if we could have it inside and he assured me it will look beautiful. Before I walked down the aisle, Jen appears rushing in all happy and excited and all I can say omg you made it, both with tears in our eyes, that meant everything to me! As I walked down the aisle, I embraced every single detail, the lights, the decor, the seating and as I got close I saw my to be husband, it was emotionally so beautiful. He and the staff absolutely killed it! My bridal assistant helped with not only my dress but a malfunction on my bridesmaids dress. We had a intimate meal during the cocktail hour but rushed back as we were too excited. Omg the amount of food, and happiness in that room!!! Everyone was in awe, raving about how good the food was! Then the reception, uff that was a whole party! Dinner was INCREDIBLE, and our guests and us included were jaw dropped when they came around serving seconds!!! Like what no other venue does that! The entire staff, was the best! We wished we were a guest at our own wedding because that’s how amazing it was! All thanks to them! Thank you all at East Wind, thank you Jen for being a friend, and for being so dedicated and loving, and for making this experience a memory we will never forget. Thank Luis for making my dream a reality, with so much love. I am grateful I had you, and grateful that you were apart of our day. I love you both so very much, and love you all at East Wind! ❤️
With love,
The Rossetti’s
We had our wedding at The Estate at East Wind on 11/27/21 and could not have been more impressed about every single aspect of this venue! From making a seamless and stress free transition from our original date due to covid, to being communicative and helpful in any questions we had in the process, and knocking us out with how impressed we were on the day of with the food, organization, and beautiful setup! Jennifer was our sales associate/manager/coordinator through the whole process and she was absolutely great, kind, and quick to respond to any questions or concerns.
Tony was our Matir'd the day of and he was so nice, accommodating, and did everything he could to make sure the day went on without a problem. He was present the entire night and truly made our experience wonderful. Not to mention he was so personable. Mary Lou was our bridal attendant and I couldn't say more amazing things about her!! She was so sweet, present, and did everything she possibly could to make sure we were taken care of that night, well fed, and doing ok! She truly worked so hard! All of the waitstaff was very nice, professional, and offered fantastic service.
The Estate is absolutely stunning and we were blown away with the beauty and transition of our indoor ceremony to the reception room. Our guests didn't even know it was the same room! The cocktail hour was also unbelievably impressive with the amount of food, and the quality! The food at the reception was also phenomenal and we appreciated everyone basically getting their food around the same time, quickly, and hot! The bartenders and drinks were also phenomenal!
We made the absolute best decision in choosing this venue and would not change a thing if we could do it all over again!
My son was married on Friday, November 26, 2021 in the Cottage. We originally booked his wedding, two years ago, and it was supposed to take place last year. COVID 19 had other plans for us.
We booked the wedding with Jennifer. Immediately, I felt like she understood not only the couple vision, but she had an understanding of how important this wedding was to us. I include myself in the “us” and you will soon understand why.
We moved from Queens to Long Island to start a new life after my marriage ended. Joseph (who was just married) took on a new role. He was no longer just the oldest sibling, he was now the man of the house. He sacrificed a lot growing up. Paid for every single college textbook for his sister, who is only a year younger than he is, bought is brother his first car, took me grocery shopping and to numerous doctors appointments as I battled health issues. He was selfless. When he got engaged, and decided to have a wedding, I recommended East Wind, because I had attended a wedding there a couple of months prior and LOVED IT. What I didn’t know was how we would immediately feel like family. Jennifer cried with me when we booked the wedding. I briefly explained our situation and she made sure she never let us down. I told her, that whatever my son wanted, to give him. She took every call, answered every email, and made what could be a very stressful time, seamless. She is simply amazing.
Everything was so perfect I am still crying over it. I cannot thank you enough for making mine and my sons dream come true! Jennifer, you are family. I am so grateful that we randomly got you when we came to see the venue. Seeing my son’s face and hearing him talk about that day is priceless. I will never forget how happy he is. Thank you for giving us the best memory!
I am going to recommend you to EVERYONE!!
The east Wind was great, we had Penny as a sales manager and we loveddddd her she was absolutely amazing!
Reid was our maitre’d and he was also amazing!
Barbara was my bridal attendant, she was great.
Everything ran very smooth. The only complaints are about the food but it was mostly really great,,, the rice was undercooked and tasted just like plain boiled sticky/gooey white rice which was embarrassing and also the scalloped potatoes at the cocktail hour were undercooked as well,, my dad said his steak was a little tough. Also the Viennese cookies tasted a little weird like stale refrigerator. But other than that everything else was perfect. I highly recommend the east wind
I cannot say enough about this venue. Everything was perfect and all of the guests raved about the hall and the food which they also come around with seconds. Laura was our wedding planner and she did an excellent job answering all of our questions. We had Joe Casserta as our Maitre'd and he was beyond amazing. He was always there for everything we needed. I had Tara as my bridal attendant and she was amazing as well. We stayed at the inn and the rooms were very quaint and clean. Highly recommend this venue
My daughter finally had her wedding reception on November 13, 2021. Like many brides her wedding ceremony & reception was postponed because of covid. However, we were very lucky to have three very experienced professionals handling her wedding ceremony & reception which was a year apart. She had a mini-ceremony in 2020 at The Estate at East Wind & her reception this month also there.
Laura Allison (Banquet Sales Manager) is simply amazing, she will remember every detail you discuss with her, make the best suggestions to complete your day, and communicate all your wishes precisely to the Maitre'D who will be in charge of your wedding.
If your the lucky bride to have Tony as your Maitre'D, those wishes will become a perfected Reality.
Mary Lou was my daughter's bridal attendant and she not only made sure my daughter's needs were addressed she also helped me! I was simply amazed when Mary Lou noticed that my daughter didn't drink water since she got there and brought her a glass on the dance floor, waited till she drank before walking away.
To say these three people take their jobs seriously would be an understatement. You will be the lucky bride on your wedding day if your have these three people; Laura, Tony, & Mary Lou on your team, they will turn your wedding day into the precise wedding you've been dreaming of!
I personally can't thank them enough for planning a wedding, (which by itself is stressful then add a pandemic to that) and making it an enjoyable experience. My husband and I (3 days later) are still getting texts & calls from our guests telling us how much they enjoyed every moment. That is all due to the dedication & experience of these three people: Thank you once again
Laura Allison, Tony, & Mary Lou!

My husband and I booked the Estate at East Wind as our wedding venue for late October 2021 and we had the most wonderful experience. We found the location over the summer and with just a few months to our Wedding date were able to plan the perfect day thanks to Jennifer who was always ready to help answer our questions and point us in the right direction. Tony and Tara were also amazing and made sure our day went smoothly.
The venue was beautiful and the food was plentiful and delicious. Our guests are still raving about what a wonderful time they had. Thanks EW team for executing for us the Wedding of our dreams!
We had our wedding in the Estate in August 2021 after postponing from August of 2020. The East Wind made it easy to change our date due to the pandemic. We worked with Penny and she answered all of our questions leading up to our big day. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding day!!! The staff was amazing. Our Maitre D, Tony, was so friendly and made sure everything went smoothly. Our bridal attendant, Mary Lou, was SO helpful and sweet. She helped to figure out my complicated bustle and constantly was bringing us food or drinks throughout the night. We truly appreciated how magical they made our wedding day. THANK YOU!!
I will shout to the world how amazing my East Wind experience was! I got married in The Estate 8/14/2021 and it was everything beyond my wildest dreams! They were amazing throughout the pandemic about keeping me in the loop on rules and requirements! Jennifer (my sales rep) was extremely helpful and kind and POSITIVE! Which is huge for me as a stressed out bride! Tony was my Matrie'd (sorry if that's spelled wrong) and he was a dream to work with. Made sure everything was set up exactly how I wanted and checked in throughout the night with all the parents and guests to make sure everyone had a great time. My attendant MaryLou gets a special shout out too! Even though I was partying too much to hold a drink in my hand, she made sure I was always covered and even when i needed a break she waited on my husband and I like crazy! The party was perfect, people are still raving about the food! I am so grateful to everyone at East Wind for making my wedding day Perfect!
The best day of our lives at the best venue!!
Our original wedding date was cancelled due to COVID, but that did not stop our amazing catering manager Jennifer from helping us create the most memorable wedding celebration one year later at the Estate. Jennifer treated us like family. She was so hard-working, organized and truly caring. She accommodated us by adding in small details that we requested and keeping us on schedule. Tony - our maitre d - was exceptional! We didn't worry about A THING on the day of our wedding because Tony had it covered, with a smile on his face. Our bridal attendant - Mary - was extremely attentive and so sweet. We felt like the luckiest bride and groom to have such great people at our venue.
Our friends and family constantly tell us about the amazing time they had at our wedding. They all rave about the food, the beautiful rooms, and amazing service. To top it all off - our closest friends and family all stayed at the hotel and enjoyed a send-off brunch at Desmond's the next morning. It was the perfect weekend! We will never forget our experience at East Wind and we recommend it to all!
My husband and I were so impressed with East Wind, I don’t even know where to begin! I’ll start with the staff. Jennifer M was our catering manager and she was a large part of the reason we chose East Wind - from the moment we met her she was warm, engaging, friendly, and supportive. Getting married in the time of COVID was so stressful, but Jennifer made us feel at ease every time we spoke to her. We plan on visiting Jennifer at least once a year for lunch because she is now part of our family. Mary, the secretary in the catering office is such a doll! She gave us great honeymoon tips for Hawaii and was such a sweet person every time we interacted with her. Lauren at the front desk was delightful to work with in planning our room block. Mayra, our bridal attendant, was just the best! She kept my husband calm when he was having a meltdown and she was right by our side the entire night. We still keep in touch with her, that’s the kind of bond we made. And finally, Luis, our Maitre d’, ran the entire day with such precision and care. He is so detail-oriented and he made us feel at peace on a day where anything could go wrong! He made sure nothing went wrong. The whole team worked to ensure our day was perfect - and it was!
The venue itself is beautiful. It’s perfect if you have out-of-town guests because they can stay at the inn, visit the shoppes, and dine at the restaurants. My family and friends came from out of town and enjoyed the hotel accommodations, the quaint shoppes, the spa, and Desmond’s. They also spent a day at the local vineyards. They made a whole weekend getaway out of our wedding night. We even made sure to enjoy our weekend - we booked a room the night before and the night of our wedding in addition to booking a spa treatment for us both the morning of our wedding. What a great way to relax!
We got married in The Veranda. It was such a unique venue because it had three different settings for the evening: the beautiful outdoor garden chapel for the ceremony, the stunning upper lobby and veranda for cocktail hour, and the beautiful reception room with its expansive bar and access to the veranda. The food was spectacular! Our guests raved about the food (and the seconds!). Mayra got us a little bit of everything for our plates and it was so delicious! Go to a tasting if you can during your planning.
We loved every part of our special day and it was all thanks to the staff at East Wind. We are SO happy we booked them and we know you will be, too!
I got married on July 17th 2021 . I honestly don’t even know where to begin . Exceptional service! Everything was beautiful. I got everything I asked for with the ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception. They work their butts off to give you best day ever!! My bridal attended Mayra was amazing (even calmed me down when I was having a meltdown) …Mary the secretary was just the sweetest. Luis who was my Maître d’ was awesome! And as for Jennifer …..let me say that one more time JENNIFER!!! who was the catering Manager was the whole reason why I booked East Wind. Truly loving, supportive, non-judgmental just the sweetest woman I ever met. I checked a lot of other venues and no one came close to her personality. East Wind wasn’t my first choice but her loving attitude made me book !!! She gave me such amazing marital advice and you know she truly cared about me and my partner. I HIGHLY suggest working with her and East Wind. If I ever had to get married again I’ll get married there :) lol !!
We had our wedding there this past weekend and everybody went above and beyond to make it such an unforgettable day. The day ran so smoothly. I worked with Jennifer leading up to our wedding and she was absolutely amazing. She answered all my questions in a timely manner and was of great assistance. Toni was our maitre d and he was a pleasure to work with. He made sure the staff set everything up correctly. The day of our wedding he was so accommodating to us. The bridal attendants were so helpful. They made us feel so special. They never let us go without a drink in our hands or food. They were with us all day. The food was amazing and our guests can’t stop talking about it. Everybody was so easy to work with and went out of their way to ensure we were happy at all times. I highly recommend booking with this venue. It is beautiful and the staff is amazing!
My husband and I got married at The Estate at East Wind. We are beyond happy with our choice. Jennifer, the event sales manager, was absolutely incredible from start to finish. She was so accommodating throughout the entire postponement due to COVID-19. Tony, our maitre d', and Mary Lou, our bridal attendant, were amazing. The cocktail hour and reception rooms were beautiful and spacious, and the food was delicious. The hotel being right next door to the venue was very convenient for all of our guests. It was a perfect day!
Our daughter got married 6/25/21, after a rescheduling accommodation due to Covid. The wedding was beautiful, the room gorgeous and the food delicious! All orchestrated perfectly by Luis Torres! We also stayed at the hotel, which was very comfortable and convenient!
My husband and I got married on May 16th 2021 and it was the best time of my life. Jennifer was SO amazing and is still so amazing and I am so glad we were able to add her not only as a sales manager but she became part of our family. I was on the fence about East Wind but Jenn eased my mind that we were going to to be well taken care of. From the first time meeting her at the Ronkonkoma Showcase, Jennifer remembered us when i called after looking at countless venues three months later. Through COVID, she put us at ease with updating us with the NYS restrictions. On the day of our wedding, Tony, our Maitre Di and Mary Lou, our bridal attendant, were AMAZING and catered to our every want and need. I was blown away at just how smoothly the ay went and i can't wait to hopefully have another event there soon!!!
This place is not only gorgeous it is run by the most professional and accommodating staff I've ever met. We had a whole wedding planned in upstate NY and when covid hit we had a hard time finding out information from our event coordinator until 4 months before the wedding when we were told that our wedding couldn't happen. So we were left scrambling trying to figure out what to do and then during an internet search I found The East Wind. Not only were we able to keep our original date but they gave us such a great price for an all inclusive package. It made our day go by so much easier not having to to locate out own photographer and dj. The East Wind saved our day and made it 10x better then we could have ever imagined. Would definitely recommend anyone planning a wedding or a big event to go here.

We toured several venues and it was easily obvious we were going to choose East Wind for our wedding. The grounds are gorgeous and there are so many rooms to choose from! Everyone that we had the pleasure of interacting with was knowledgeable about the venue and so incredibly nice to work with. Being a pandemic bride (who changed dates several times), I cannot stress enough how amazing East Wind is! I would not have survived this past year of wedding planning without my coordinator Jennifer. She is an ANGEL!! She was there day or night if I had a random question and she was always prompt with her responses. She ensured everything was set up and in order for our big day, and even popped in to say hello the day of!! If you’re working with Jennifer, you seriously could not be in better hands!! As for the day of, we had Tony as our Maitre’d and Marylou as our bridal attendant. Again, ANGELS!!! I received several compliments in the day after my wedding how those two looked as if they were everywhere and helped everyone. My wedding day would not have been as perfect as it was without the help of the amazing staff at East Wind!! You are in the best hands possible here!
I just booked my wedding at east wind and let me tell you Jennifer was amazing !!!! She took so much time with my fiancé and I. She is so patient and kind and never pressured us! She worked so hard to help us achieve our budget. We booked the cottage and cannot wait it is so beautiful! I feel like I don’t have to worry about a thing since Jennifer is there to help me !
To start from the beginning East Wind was the first place my husband and I toured, we looked at two other venues after and we kept comparing it to East Wind. We were able to successfully have a safe wedding on October 17, 2020 with our close family and friends. Penny held our hands through every obstacle COVID threw our way and I cannot say enough wonderful things about her. On the day of our maître d', Suzanne was absolutely amazing and she helped the day run so smooth. Our bridal attendant, Mary Lou is such a sweetheart and she always made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We also brought A LOT of our own decor for our big day and gave them free reign to be creative with some of it and they knocked it out of the park. The food was amazing and I keep hearing how all our family and friends had such a great time at our wedding. It was everything my husband and I could have dreamed of and more.
My fiancé and I were planning a wedding here. The original date of our wedding was in April during the shutdown due to Covid-19. After receiving an option of two dates to postpone, we agreed on July, 19th. Now with all the uncertainty of the state opening back up in time, we requested our deposit back. After “consulting with their lawyers”, our only options are to postpone again or cancel and wait to see if anyone schedules the new date. If we cancel and they don’t reschedule the date we will lose our deposit.
How are we supposed to plan a wedding not knowing until the week before if the venue will even be open.
We never signed a new contract with the new date and they are holding the deposit from an invalid and outdated contract hostage. Now we have to hire a lawyer to try and get our deposit back.
Bad business!
