oh my gosh i stumbled onto this vendor when we were searching for caterer to provide breakfast at our hotel in providence the morning of the wedding day for people getting ready for the day and then they delivered lunch tot eh wedding venue for people getting ready as it was an evening wedding. The quality of the food and menu selection was ideal. ordering online was so easy. the timing was perfect. no follow up needed. the delivery guy was so pleasant. very helpful . they are a great company to work with. We recently worked with Easy Entertaining for our intimate, backyard elopement and had a wonderful experience! Kaitlyn made the entire process effortless for us. She oversaw food, beverage, and rentals. Her whole team went above and beyond to make us feel so special and cared for. They couldn't have been kinder or more helpful. Easy Entertaining was the PERFECT choice for catering and bar for our wedding. My husband (at the time, fiancé), and I had such a hard time finding a caterer. Everything seemed expensive, and yet also terrible tasting. Then, we found Easy Entertaining! Jayne, our coordinator, was fantastic. We really wanted a “casual yet classy” vibe for our wedding, and they made it happen. They worked with us to find the right solution instead of a standard plated dinner, and everything else we had envisioned—including the board game table for all our guests to play. We had the idea that we wanted an ice cream sundae bar for dessert—they made it happen! We wanted a prosecco toast that wasn’t originally in our bar package? They found a solution! They made our wedding celebration such a breeze. And the food was so good! We started with a cocktail hour—open bar, and a lovely table of mini pizzas, cheeses, spreads, pickles, breads, and veggies. My father came up and was raving about a particular snack he said he hadn’t had better since visiting Italy! My husband was obsessed with the pickles! The bar itself was not run through EE but through a partner company, and they were amazing and quick working. I don’t think I ever saw a line form. After dancing, everyone came into the dining room to see beautifully plated salads and herbed bread (my mom’s favorite). EE was amazing in setting up and running a flawless buffet. Everything was perfectly organized, with signs telling the guests what all the dishes were (besides delicious). I loved the vegetable tart and pesto zoodles! Finally, we finished with the make-your-own sundae bar. Again, I cannot emphasize how amazingly accommodating the EE staff was in making our vision come true. We also loved the local and farm-fresh focus! Food sourcing is important to me and my husband, and honestly, you could taste the difference. I would recommend Easy Entertaining to anyone. And make sure take home the leftovers, because you’ll want them!

asy Entertaining provided fantastic catering and event coordination for our wedding. I worked with Vanessa, who went above and beyond to help us plan and execute our cocktail style reception. We had a wide selection to choose from, and especially enjoyed that they use locally sourced produce and provide a seasonal menu. Our wedding was in late October, so we had some wonderful cozy flavors like grilled cheese and tomato soup shooters, and a butternut squash and sweet potato salad. Easy Entertaining also coordinated our rentals (table cloths, plates, cutlery, etc.). Given the cocktail style reception, we chose to go with biodegradable disposables, which helped us reduce costs. The way they set up the food stations was just darling! They used chalkboard signs with beautiful handwritten script, little brown paper bags for the chip bar, and covered the table with brown paper and wrote out the names of the toppings for the donut desert bar. The attention to detail was exquisite. The staff at Easy Entertaining are top notch! Friendly, dedicated, passionate, and professional! Vanessa helped coordinate the day of our wedding, including set up of decorations, coordination of all food/drinks, and managing the timeline. The wait staff were so attentive throughout the day, making sure we were able to eat in addition to our guests (which meant bringing some of the appetites out to use while we were taking photos). Easy Entertaining was recommended to me by a friend, and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a wide variety of options, delicious seasonal locally sourced foods, innovative ideas, and an overall superb experience!

Uneasy Entertaining Originally, we worked with Easy Entertaining's employee Devorah beginning in January 2015. She worked with us to plan a creative and tasty farm to table menu with Chef Ashley that met our budget requirements. We had full confidence in their abilities to make our wedding day a success. Four weeks away from the wedding, Devorah had left the company and we were working with the owner, Kait. We received a new itemized contract that was completely off from what we discussed at our tasting. Big issues like the removal of promised complimentary meals for the vendors, and there were approximately $500 in additional set up, cleaning, and breakdown fees. When we inquired about these sudden unexpected costs and changes, Kait was extremely condescending saying "The buck stops here", "We are bending over backwards for you people" and "We wish these things could be handled by themselves, but they can't". Utterly disgusted by the lack of Kait's professionalism and tact, my husband and I decided to save costs and aggravation by setting up ourselves after our rehearsal dinner, having to ask family and our wedding party to pitch in and help. When we told the venue we needed to get in the night before to do so, they were shocked that our caterer wanted to charge us for set up and felt so bad that they offered to have some of their restaurant staff do it for us. Flash forward to the wedding day and the catering nightmare ensued. Something we only truly realized at the end of the night when we started asking our guests about the cocktail hour, meals, and cake. The reviews were so mortifying that I was sick to my stomach in tears the morning after my wedding and feeling stupid that we had already paid our catering bill in full before our wedding day. Here's what happened: Strike 1: Cocktail hour. 75% of our 155 guests said they received 0-1 appetizers at the cocktail hour. My husband and I reviewed our wedding video and found there were only FOUR servers serving trays with only SIX appetizers each continuously serving the same areas. We paid for TEN servers and 500 PASSED appetizers. Strike 2: Dinner. Most guests stated their meals were cold or dry or both. Guests found the beef brisket to be dry and tough. We checked our leftovers later and sadly they were right. Chicken with risotto was supposed to be served. Most guests found the chicken to be cold and dry and thought the risotto was mashed potatoes. Again, we checked with our leftovers and found our "risotto' like mashed potatoes. Strike 3: Cake. My mother in law gifted us a 4-tiered cake with Swarovski crystals handing between the tiers. ALL of our guests said they had one bite, went to dance to one song, came back, and it was gone. Our bridesmaid table of 12 people said they only got 6 pieces and had to share. The cake was completely wasted. They tossed it all in the trash and started cleaning up early before the night was even over. Also, we explicitly stated the top layer with topper and crystals needed to be saved. All we got back was the top of the cake (our specially engraved topper missing) and half of the crystals. Rather than offering us a refund after admitting to these mistakes, Kait's silver lining was verbatim, "Well, look on the bright side, you had a beautiful wedding and you're married now." We were shocked by this deflection and do not credit her with the positive aspects of our day. Therefore, we regrettably do not recommend this caterer.

Easy Entertaining was the most amazing farm to table catering experience we could have hoped for at our August 2015 wedding. There are three things that made our wedding catering by Kait and her team incredible. First, the taste and quality of the food was excellent, especially the pulled bork, blueberry BBQ sauce, bacon mac & cheese magic, and passed hors d'oeuvres. Also, we met with several caterers and their prices and professionalism was unmatched. They accommodated all of our special requests and created a presentation that fit in perfectly with our theme at a price we could afford. Finally, on our wedding day, Kait and her team made sure that my wife and I, and all of our guests were well taken care of. We have the utmost respect for and appreciation of Easy Entertaining! If you go with them -- be sure to get their homemade donuts. Amazing!

When I started looking for caterers, it was important to me to find one that used fresh, local ingredients. A friend recommended Easy Entertaining, and I was super happy with them. The food was amazing and I was happy to help a small woman-owned business. I also hired Erica as my day-of-coordinator and she was awesome. She helped me with a lot of my planning and had everything set up when we arrived at the venue. They were a little pricey, more than we had intended to spend, but Kait and Erica really worked with us and our budget to create an awesome event.

Food was very important to my fiance and I. We're members of our local CSA, frequent the farmer's market, and spend date nights concocting elaborate homemade recipes. Needless to say, I was skeptical about the wedding catering choices out there. Most of the places we looked at were overpriced and served the same hot-plate lunch fare reminiscent of cafeteria food. We discovered Easy Entertaining, Inc. through the RI Farmer's market website. We were so impressed that they source most of their ingredients locally! Erica was very attentive in helping us choose a menu (we had lots of restrictions based on guests diets and the fact that we were married in an historic building that doesn't allow any burners or food warmers). We were also connected to their preferred bartenders for our wine/ beer bar. We went in for a tasting and were hooked! We had a beautiful stationary appetizer (The Locavore) with homemade mustards, chutney, RI & CT cheeses, and seasonal items, artisan breads and a variety of grilled flatbreads with seasonal toppings. And passed appetizers of Lemon Zest Lobster Salad Spoons, Italiano Skewers, Gorgonzola Crostini with roast beef, Grilled pineapple with prosciutto and mint, and Narragansett Creamery Salty Sea Feta & Olives Skewers. Our guests were RAVING about the food! I had never heard the words "wedding," "catering," and "AMAZING" before our event. Even with our afternoon wedding (without a sit-down meal), our guests were satisfied and completely blown away by the selection. My friends are still talking about it. Easy Entertaining, Inc. made the day an absolute success with their beautiful displays, friendly and knowledgeable waitstaff, and fantastic product. I would recommend them for both those who believe in organic and local food sources, and those who just love great food! We received the royal treatment with the best food selections for our very modest budget--thank you Easy Entertaining Inc.
