If I could give a zero I would! Any vendor that would take back product that has been paid for in full is pretty much a criminal in my book, and that is exactly what Dillon Florist did. I paid thousands of dollars for wedding flowers which included 16 centerpieces for my daughter's wedding. The morning after the wedding I went back to the venue to get the centerpieces and they were all missing. They had been picked up by Dillon's driver and taken back to his place of business. When I discovered what had happened and ask why he had done that. Mr. Dillon said that I should have called him earlier because he took them back on Sunday and this was Monday, and they were destroyed in transport so he threw them all away! It took me a day to finally realize he had the flowers!! I am still astounded that he felt that he could just help himself to flowers that did not belong to him and then decide to throw them all away! I didn't believe him for a second. His act was intentional and he basically blamed me for not being quick enough to get them back. He also mysteriously found three of the arrangements in tact and sent one to me, my daughter and her new mother-in-law. Is that supposed to be compensation for taking back what I paid for? He has no integrity, but he may have a guilty conscience which I hope haunts him into doing the right thing and reimbursing me for what he so arrogantly took without permission and has most likely repurposed. He is a cagey crook.
They did a good job, but I wasn't overly impressed (which I was with our other vendors). I had high hopes for Dillon & Sons Florist, as our friends used them for their wedding and highly recommended them. They did offer us a very good deal, but there were a few hiccups along the way.
First, since they are a family business everything is handwritten and not stored on a computer, so 2 weeks before the wedding when I went to pay they were missing 2 of my bridesmaid bouquets...even though we had specifically discussed how my MOH's flowers would be slightly different than my 2 others bridesmaids.
On the day of the wedding, while I did clear up the bridesmaids bouquet mishap, I was disappointed to see that my MOH's bouquet wasn't different like we discussed and my bouquet was missing flowers that we discussed. (Our wedding colors were Red & Tiffany blue, so my bouquet was supposed to have white, blue, and red flowers, but the red were missing so it was a bit "blah" for my liking)
Also, flowers were falling out of the bouquets before the ceremony even started. It was a hot day so I'm not sure, maybe that had something to do with it.
Don't get me wrong, I did like them and they gave us a good price...I just wasn't overly excited about our flowers like I hoped I would be.
Mr. Dillon is a super cool guy. He will work with any budget and puts his all in his work. My centerpieces and bouquets were fabulous and I am very picky. I was pleased with everything he did.
Edward Dillon is a genius when it comes to flowers! He was very helpful and the flowers were absolutely beautiful!
Beautiful flowers and design. Exactly what I asked for.
my flowers were so beautiful, I even went back 2 days later to get another boutinire for my husband and he gave me it with no charge. Awesome great customer service!
