Effie’s was amazing! Not only did they have an amazing selection of dresses but they have the sweetest staff ever! I would recommend this place to everyone. My cousin from out of state got her dress here. My fav thing they do is let you pick out your dresses yourself to try on and they pick ones out based on your style!

Effie's bridal was the MOST FUN wedding dress shopping I have experienced. The consultant I worked with pointed to the direction of the right dresses that matched my vision and were in my price range. We got to look through all the dresses ourselves to pull to the dressing room. The staff helped with "guiding" questions to support the decision making process, but gave us space to make the decision myself. The dress came in 3 months earlier than expected, and I was recognized by staff when I returned to the shop to pick it up. Definitely recommend Effie's!

Best, place, EVER! I went to 2 more bridal shops and it was horrible, they had just nothing, I felt terrible and nothing fitted me. I was so depressed! In 2 days at Effie's Bridal I said yes to the dress!!! ❤️ It was just perfect! They were so sweet, and patience, and they let me walk around and pick whenever I wanted to try, and it was just amazing. The quality of the fabrics, the style, colors. The dress of my dreams!! Highly recommend!!

Effie's Bridal is nothing short of amazing. From their service to their gowns, I have yet to find another shop that comes close. Their team is invested in making sure you find the gown that is meant for YOU. They're not looking to put you in a pretty gown and send you on your way. They take the time to get to know you and your likes/dislikes and find the dress that will make you feel comfortable and beautiful. I started going to Effie's my senior year for a prom dress and now have found my wedding dress with them. In all those years that passed, their quality and service have remained unmatched. Effie's is worth the time and money because I look back at my wedding pictures smiling at how beautiful I felt that day. Thank you Effie's, I am sure I'll be back with friends looking for their perfect dress!

Effie's Bridal Trunk was amazing!! My consultant was so so amazing. I felt so special when I said YES to the dress. They even give you champagne to cheers with the guests you bring with! 100% recommend.

I had a great experience at Effie's and found my dress. The selection was great. I spent a little more than I expected to, but I couldn't resist once I found the dress. It was also a great surprise that I got my dress shipped into the store a month and a half earlier than expected too! The bridal stylist I met with (I'm so sad I can't remember her name) was so kind and accommodating, and really took her time to help me without pushing me in a certain direction which I appreciated so much as I was so anxious going in to try on dresses for the first time! Overall, I would definitely recommend them. Just to be aware they don't do alterations in the store but give a list of recommendations and a rough price estimate of what you may expect which was nice to prepare for.

Incredibly friendly staff, and one of the few bridal shops that is a mix of them pulling ideas for you, and allowing you to pull your own dress choices from the bridal hall. They were my 4th bridal ship that I visited and I was lucky enough to find my dress with the second one I tried on that day! My dress came back absolutely beautiful.

I loved my experience at Effie's. My sister also found her dress here back in 2016 - they have an amazing selection and price range. From modern, clean lines to more romantic silhouettes, they have so many different styles to choose from. So glad I found my dress here after going to so many different salons!

Effie’s is the absolute best. Their selection is amazing and they let you pick out what you want to try. The staff is super friendly and made the process a blast from the start to the end. I would make this one of your first stops on the search for a dress!

I went to Effie’s in August of 2021 to find my wedding dress and was blown away by their selection. The team was extremely helpful in helping find and try on gowns. I found my dream dress that day! My dress even came in a few weeks early! When I went to pick it up, the team was extremely helpful in making recommendations for alterations, jewelry and veils. I was also able to stay under budget! Would highly recommend to brides looking for dresses under $2,000.

Effie’s Bridal had beautiful wedding dresses to choose from. I received my dress months earlier than expected, which allowed me to get it altered to fit way in advance of our wedding. I love to dress that I picked out from them. The lighting in the store created a romantic ambience and beautiful backdrop for the trying on the dress the first time and when it arrived. I was treated with care and professionalism. Thanks to Effie’s Bridal, my dress was a showstopper! Loved my experience there!

Effie’s was the very first place I tried on dresses and wanted to see what other stores offered so I kept shopping. While I found my dream dress at another store, I was so impressed with the customer service at Effie’s, I returned there to purchase my dress. They made everything so easy, and it’s obvious everyone loves what they do and work hard to find the perfect dress for every bride.

Imagine slipping into your wedding dress 30 minutes before your first look. Do you picture the elastic loops holding the buttons on the back falling apart? Sadly, that’s what happened to me. Instead of being excited and giddy, I was confused and in tears being sewn into my dress, so it would stay shut. I spent $2k on an Allure Couture dress with Effies. After the wedding I called, provided photos of the elastic that fell apart (my alterations only hemmed my dress, nothing else, and it was the correct size), and was told they would “try” to talk to Allure. Allure is one of their largest vendors. After weeks of follow up, I was told “sorry, no warranty”. Reading past the fake “!” in the text thread (below), they weren’t responsive and didn’t care. Why would they - They already had my money. It was and it still is heartbreaking to be treated like that and to have gone through that experience on my wedding day. Brides - Effies is a nice place to buy a dress, I agree, but if something goes wrong after you leave the store, the don’t stand behind their dresses. It’s sad, but important to know. I’m stuck with a dress that need to be fixed at my own expense. After weeks of back and forth, Effies offered me new loops from Allure. The same loops that fell completely apart – like, what? Oh and $25 to get them sewn on which we all know does not cover that type of alteration. I said thanks for the insulting texts, no thanks. Go somewhere else to buy your bridal gown. It’s not worth the heartbreak.

I am a very indecisive person, and I never anticipated buying a dress the day I was shopping. When my group got to Effie's we were able to walk around and tag dresses for me to try on, which was so much fun. Amanda was so helpful in narrowing down styles and fabrics, and helping me see what each dress would look like on me. I found a dress I loved so much that I bought it that day, and it was perfect. I am so thankful I went to Effie's, I loved my wedding dress!!

I felt so comfortable here. The consultant was very helpful in finding my dress by having me explain what I liked about certain dresses and what I didn’t like. I got to pull dresses but my consultant pulled some too based on my feedback. Fun but professional environment.

Effie’s Bridal Trunk went above and beyond my expectations for dress shopping. I went to three other bridal shops but found that Effie’s seemed to have the best selection of dresses in the realm of what I was looking for (and overall) so when I didn’t find a dress the first time, I knew I wanted to return at least one more time to Effie’s and I’m so happy I did! I originally went on a Saturday and it was busy (though I never felt rushed) but when I returned it was a weeknight and I think I may have been the only bride shopping which meant all the dresses were on the racks and not possibly in dressing rooms. Throughout both appointments both my consultants (and other employees) were friendly, patient and I felt like they were really listening to me and pulling dresses that they thought I would like (including expanding my horizons). (I’m terrible with names so I apologize for not being able to give a shout-out to the individual consultants- but honestly EVERYONE there was fantastic!) In addition, I appreciated how they were watching my body language and not trying to force me to say yes to a dress that I wasn’t in love with, even if it looked good. They were low pressure and willing to work with me for as long as I needed to make sure I got the right dress for me. The dress I ended up falling in love with was the second to last dress I tried on- the moment I put it on, I didn’t want to take it off. It checked all my boxes- v-neck, appliques all over, defined waist, buttons down the back, train, and it even had sparkly tulle! When I said yes, they were ready with the champagne which just made the experience a little more special! The day of the wedding, and after, I received so many compliments on the dress and how it was “so me.” I would recommend (and already have!) Effie’s to any brides!

I had such a wonderful experience at Effie's Bridal Trunk! They created a very warm, welcoming environment for me and my bridal party as I tried on dresses, which I found really helped me feel comfortable and confident as I picked out what will probably be the most meaningful (and expensive!) outfit I will ever buy. They have a great and varied selection, and gave me the opportunity to browse on my own with my maid of honor, which I appreciated. They also had very kind and helpful staff, who never gave a single sigh of frustration at how many dresses I was trying on! If they fall within your budget, I would definitely recommend stopping by their store in Saint Paul!

Effie's Bridal Trunk was the third wedding dress shop I visited, and they had several dresses that I would have loved to wear on my wedding day - what an wonderful problem to have too many great options! Their manager was a delight to work with, and in the end he helped me choose one that I adored. Somehow the gown had all the elements I came in wanting, yet was still different than I expected. In addition to a beautiful beaded veil, I chose Willowby by Watter's Papillon dress, an ethereal garment with butterfly wing beading on the bodice and dreamy layers of creamy tulle for the skirt. Shy of having another wedding, I am on the lookout for any excuse to wear this dress, which truly made me feel like a fairy princess, again! Thank you, Effie's, for your excellent selection, lovely atmosphere, and friendly staff that helped make all this possible.

As far as my wedding goes, the dress was far down on the list of things I care most about. So my first stop dress shopping was at the large chain store (not Effie’s) to get something that looked nice and check that off my list. My consultant at that store didn’t show up, so the manager took my appointment unprepared and multitasking. I and left without making any progress thinking maybe I should try something better. I made an appointment at Effie’s on a weekday morning and had THE BEST support from Andrew. He was so patient and helpful with me not really knowing what I wanted. He could tell what I was thinking about a dress and could put it into words when I couldn’t. I tried on so many dresses, I thought he’d suggest we come back another day, but he didn’t. I eventually found my dress from Lis Simon, a designer you can only get at Effie’s in MN. It is not in yet, but I didn’t want Andrew and Effie’s to wait months for a well deserved 5-star review, or for fellow brides to miss out on the recommendation. You will be in the best of hands here. ♥️

I had an amazing experience at Effie's! The staff who was helping me made my time shopping for my wedding dress so special. I enjoyed the little bridal scavenger hunt that we did and then they popped a bottle of champagne, it was very special and so much fun. I had great customers service the entire time. although, one of my bridesmaids dress was incredibly late, the management and staff at Effie's were very accommodating in helping my bridesmaid find somebody for last minute alterations. I really appreciate it all of the help that they gave us.

I had worked with Effie's previously as a wedding vendor (I'm a photographer!) and I immediately knew I would someday go there to shop for my own wedding dress! They were so great to work with and I love their shop & location. I had my appointment with Andrew, who is the best of the best. He showed me many great options for my style, laid out options for customizations as needed, and was respectful to my budget. As soon as I tried on my Mikaella dress, I knew it was the one. I received so many compliments on my dress, and I am so thankful to Mikaella and Effie's Bridal Trunk for bringing it to me!

From walking into the store, finding my dress, and coming in to try the dress on for the final time before I took it home, Effie’s Bridal Trunk was perfect through it all! Their kind, friendly, and responsive team makes the whole wedding dress experience easy! When I came in to try my dress on the final time, their was a scheduling mishap. However, they were quick on their feet and was able to squeeze me in (without feeling rushed) and made it possible. I highly recommend Effie’s to anyone looking for their wedding dress!

We went to Effie's for my dress and our bridesmaids' dresses. It's a super cute shop with really friendly and helpful staff. They have a wonderful selection of dresses. I also bought a few accessories there (belt and hair vine). I would certainly recommend Effie's to anyone looking for their wedding dress or bridesmaid dress!

The whole staff at Effie's is just wonderful! Piper was my consultant, and made me feel comfortable and beautiful (she actually picked my dress!). It was my first time shopping for dresses, and although I knew what I wanted she helped make it a reality. When I said yes to my dress, they popped champagne for me and my crew - so fun! We also got our bridesmaids dresses through Effies, and that entire process was wonderful too. I was struggling to decide on dresses for my girls, and they were very patient with us. After the wedding, I brought my dress into Effie's to get preserved, and once again that entire process was seamless. I highly recommend Effie's to everyone! They have gorgeous gowns, but their staff is what makes the experience.

I had initially visited Effie's and found some wonderful dresses. I then visited a few other places, but went back to Effie's for my final pick. Not only did the dress options draw me back, but the customer service and experience could not be matched. Amanda did an amazing job making the entire experience stress-free, fun and special all at the same time. Would recommend 100 times over!

It was so fun to pick our dresses myself and to see their opinions with choices that I would not have thought of. I never once felt rushed and they even celebrated with me when I found the dress that I loved! So thankful for this inviting, friendly, and relaxed experience to find the perfect dress.

I loved my experience at Effie's! We had the entire shop to ourselves, even before the pandemic happened. They have so many gowns at various price points. The owner was incredibly sweet and gave me a discount on my dress (I came in one day before the Black Friday sale started), which helped me get my dream dress in my budget! I loved their champagne toast after I said yes to the dress!

I went into Effie's with a general idea of what I thought I wanted in a wedding dress. We pulled about 8 dresses that were within my budget. The first dress I tried on was the ONE. After trying on about 5 more dresses, I went back to the first dress. I loved everything about it (the length, the detail, the way it made me feel) and I believe the consultant I worked with was extremely patient and understanding of all the emotions I was feeling. She was amazing!! I also got my veil from there. They had such a good process in place for try on/pick up, especially during COVID.

I was very disappointed with the communication at Effie's Bridal Trunk. I was told at my first appointment that I should get a size 6 and that I would likely need it to be slightly altered. I was hesitant to agree to this size given that it was much larger than I expected but I trusted their measurements and reassurance that wedding dress sizes are much different. When I returned for my fitting appointment I found the dress to be much too large, particularly in the areas that they said would be snug. I had not changed weight at all since my previous appointment. The employee reassured me again that alterations would fix these changes and when I inquired about cost they told me it would be between $100-300 for alterations and recommended that I go to the alteration store that they have a partnership with for a discount. After having my dress adjusted with the recommended alterations I was quoted $1100. This was as much as my dress cost! The alterations lady also told me that my dress was clearly 2-3 sizes too large. I was shocked and very frustrated to say the least. I then went to many other stores who all quoted me above $700. When I called Effie's to explain the situation they said that there was nothing they could do since I already had the dress in my possession. I felt deceived and I wish that had I gone with my instinct about getting a smaller dress. I am very disappointed that they do this to brides.

I had a great experience at Effie’s! Velida was AMAZING! She listened to everything I wanted and helped me find my perfect dress! When my dress came it had a small hole from shipping and Effie’s did everything they could to make it right and gave me a discount on the dress!

Valida was amazing! She has such a wonderful personality and had me pegged instantly. I came in not knowing what I wanted and she chose the perfect dresses for me to try after only briefly chatting with me. Her knowledge is spot-on!!! I highly recommend Effie’s and look for Valida’s warm smile.

Shopping for a wedding dress at Effie’s was one of the most fun and relaxed experiences of planning our wedding! They were extremely helpful and welcoming, they accommodated my large group, and they really took the time to get to know me and help me find a perfect dress within my budget. I had an amazing experience with Effie's! They were so patient with me and my million dresses I tried on. I went back a couple of weeks later and didn't have an appointment and they were still able to assist me. They honored a discount that I had missed out on a couple of weeks earlier, my dress came in on time and it was beautiful. I feel their communication was great. I ordered my dress in Sept 2018 for my July 2019 wedding and my dress came in April 2019 which is exactly when they said it would. I do think it took awhile to come in but they did tell me that was the target date. They also recommended a great seamstress.

I had a wonderful experience wedding dress shopping at Effie's! There are many gorgeous dresses, most of which are priced near or below $2,000. The shop was busy but did not feel crowded. The shop is really cute -- They have a gorgeous "Pink Room" that perfectly accommodated my large shopping group and made the "say yes to the dress" moment so much fun. They gave us champagne and a bottle of wine to celebrate. My consultant was very patient with me as I slowly deliberated between two dresses. She was not pushy at all, which I appreciated greatly, and she encouraged me to take the time I needed to choose the best dress for me (even if that meant returning another day). I was impressed by the patience and kindness of all of the staff members -- even though we ended up being there for awhile after closing to fill out paperwork and celebrate together. I would highly recommend wedding dress shopping at Effie's!

For me, I was excited to start of the process of finding my dream dress, but was also a little emotional about it, and was not sure on what I was looking for. The Staff at Effie’s was absolutely amazing. They were so patient, knowledgeable and so so caring! I ended up coming back a second time to try on the dress I thought I loved.. I put it back on and I knew it was what I wanted to wear when I said yes to the man of my dreams! My experience with wedding dress shopping was so special thanks to Effie’s!

I really enjoyed the pace and set up of my appointment, it almost felt like a hybrid of sorts. 50% the consultants picking based off of my questionnaire I filled out before the appointment and 50% my bridal party and I shopping the racks ourselves. My consultants were very supportive of my decisions and didn’t push me further than was necessary to try things on that I automatically felt were a ‘no’ but would coax appropriately. If I put it on and didn’t want to go out in it, not a big deal! I felt very well attended to and did not feel the pressure to go home that day with something (even though I ended up doing so anyway!) thanks everyone for a great experience!

It was so easy and fun to buy my dress here! I went on a Thursday evening, the shop was quiet, and the two dresses I asked about on advance were already out alongside a few others the consultant and manager had pulled. My four guests and I were then shown around the store and given the opportunity to tag different dresses for me to try on. I think we went through eight or nine all said and done, but in the end I couldn't help falling in love with the dress by Willowby I'd picked out ahead of time. Miraculously, the sample for that dress already fit me remarkably well, and the consultant advised me I could buy the gently used sample then and there for a great price! I ended up leaving my first ever bridal appointment with a dress in hand, so much easier than I had ever thought possible! This shop has wonderful service, selection, and ambiance. Definitely worth the drive through rush hour to get there from the twin cities 😉

I had a hard time finding the poppy color for my bridesmaids dresses but Effies had so many great color options! I was so pleased with the knowledgeable staff helping us pick the perfect dresses and accessories to go with! Not to mention, the shop is adorable!! Thank you Effies!

I had an amazing experience at Effie’s. Did some other shopping after initially trying dresses, came back to Effie’s in the end for their great customer service (Gale was amazing!) and the price of the dress I loved. They popped champagne for us when I said “yes” to a dress, and made me truly feel like a bride. I live an hour outside of Effie’s, and they even recommended a place for alterations that’s less than 20 minutes from my house. Couldn’t beat this! I’m so excited to be an Effie’s bride!

Effie’s bridal was amazing when I picked out my dress. It was the whole bridal experience brides dream about. They even pop champagne when you say yes to the dress. Very wonderful! I do have two gripes about the store. 1 is they don’t do alterations and 2 when I picked up my dress it was not like the first visit. I arrived early to pick up my dress. The lady was able to get me in right away but said because I arrived early the room with accessories was not available, this was after I was already in the fitting room. I figured no biggie I can wait. Everything went well with the dress fitting and she packed up my dress. When I asked about seeing the accessories, she claimed because my appointment was bumped up they already had someone else in there. I drove 40 minutes and was really excited to see accessories with my dress. I was very disappointed and decided to look for accessories else where. I still think this Is a great place to pick out your dream dress. Just not all the employees are stellar.

Effie's was absolutely wonderful. They have an amazing shop and a wide range of drop dead beautiful dresses from Pre-owned all the way up to high-end designer gowns. They treat you like a queen too! I would absolutely recommend to anyone.

I have mixed reviews when working with Effie's Bridal. I bought my first dress in May 2017 for a June 2018 wedding. When my dress arrived in November the manufacturers completely ruined the dress. I ordered a dress in an "antique" color and when they gave me my dress it was in blush. The sales associate was trying to convince me to buy the blush color dress and that they would give me a discount since it was wrong- I was pretty upset that she was even trying because I was so upset that it was wrong. I don't understand how a company could send you a dress knowing that the dress color was wrong. She then said to me "unfortunately we have other women who are experiencing this and they don't have enough time to change it". I know that she was trying to make me feel better but that's not convincing that you ruined multiple wedding dresses. I wanted to go somewhere else but due the contract that you sign when you purchase your dress they won't give you your money back. Luckily we had some time before my wedding but unfortunately I had to start the process all over again and get a new dress. At first they told me that I could only find another dress by the same designer but eventually they let me choose any dress available because they knew I how upset I was about the situation. I know the dress mishap wasn't entirely the store's fault but it was just a horrible experience for any bride to go through and ruined the whole experience for me- something a bride should never have to experience. The sale associates were friendly and didn't pressure me to buy anything I didn't want. In the end I think the second dress was a little better than the first dress which was nice. I'm sure other brides had good experiences here but I would not recommend any bride to visit this store.

Found the perfect dress. Had a wonderful sales associate help try on 15+ dresses until I found it. She was very patient and helpful. The dress came on time as did the veil and there were no issues.

I found so many dresses that I loved here, I think I tried on a total of 20 dresses and the lady helping me was so patient and yet so helpful! I found my ideal wedding dress here and it was perfect. The only thing I wish they did here was hemming and alterations here but other than that this place was perfect!
