This was the first place I stopped into during my wedding dress journey. Reanna was exceptional. So fun and easy to work with. She helped me pull different dress styles, didn't pressure me into anything and helped me with that "ahhh I am overwhelmed" feeling. Not to mention she welcomed my large family into the salon with a smile! The salon itself is so charming and well maintained!

Effie's bridal was the MOST FUN wedding dress shopping I have experienced. The consultant I worked with pointed to the direction of the right dresses that matched my vision and were in my price range. We got to look through all the dresses ourselves to pull to the dressing room. The staff helped with "guiding" questions to support the decision making process, but gave us space to make the decision myself. The dress came in 3 months earlier than expected, and I was recognized by staff when I returned to the shop to pick it up. Definitely recommend Effie's!

Best, place, EVER! I went to 2 more bridal shops and it was horrible, they had just nothing, I felt terrible and nothing fitted me. I was so depressed! In 2 days at Effie's Bridal I said yes to the dress!!! ❤️ It was just perfect! They were so sweet, and patience, and they let me walk around and pick whenever I wanted to try, and it was just amazing. The quality of the fabrics, the style, colors. The dress of my dreams!! Highly recommend!!

Effie's Bridal is nothing short of amazing. From their service to their gowns, I have yet to find another shop that comes close. Their team is invested in making sure you find the gown that is meant for YOU. They're not looking to put you in a pretty gown and send you on your way. They take the time to get to know you and your likes/dislikes and find the dress that will make you feel comfortable and beautiful. I started going to Effie's my senior year for a prom dress and now have found my wedding dress with them. In all those years that passed, their quality and service have remained unmatched. Effie's is worth the time and money because I look back at my wedding pictures smiling at how beautiful I felt that day. Thank you Effie's, I am sure I'll be back with friends looking for their perfect dress!

Effie's Bridal Trunk was amazing!! My consultant was so so amazing. I felt so special when I said YES to the dress. They even give you champagne to cheers with the guests you bring with! 100% recommend.

I had a great experience at Effie's and found my dress. The selection was great. I spent a little more than I expected to, but I couldn't resist once I found the dress. It was also a great surprise that I got my dress shipped into the store a month and a half earlier than expected too! The bridal stylist I met with (I'm so sad I can't remember her name) was so kind and accommodating, and really took her time to help me without pushing me in a certain direction which I appreciated so much as I was so anxious going in to try on dresses for the first time! Overall, I would definitely recommend them. Just to be aware they don't do alterations in the store but give a list of recommendations and a rough price estimate of what you may expect which was nice to prepare for.

Incredibly friendly staff, and one of the few bridal shops that is a mix of them pulling ideas for you, and allowing you to pull your own dress choices from the bridal hall. They were my 4th bridal ship that I visited and I was lucky enough to find my dress with the second one I tried on that day! My dress came back absolutely beautiful.

I loved my experience at Effie's. My sister also found her dress here back in 2016 - they have an amazing selection and price range. From modern, clean lines to more romantic silhouettes, they have so many different styles to choose from. So glad I found my dress here after going to so many different salons!

Effie’s is the absolute best. Their selection is amazing and they let you pick out what you want to try. The staff is super friendly and made the process a blast from the start to the end. I would make this one of your first stops on the search for a dress!

I went to Effie’s in August of 2021 to find my wedding dress and was blown away by their selection. The team was extremely helpful in helping find and try on gowns. I found my dream dress that day! My dress even came in a few weeks early! When I went to pick it up, the team was extremely helpful in making recommendations for alterations, jewelry and veils. I was also able to stay under budget! Would highly recommend to brides looking for dresses under $2,000.

Effie’s Bridal had beautiful wedding dresses to choose from. I received my dress months earlier than expected, which allowed me to get it altered to fit way in advance of our wedding. I love to dress that I picked out from them. The lighting in the store created a romantic ambience and beautiful backdrop for the trying on the dress the first time and when it arrived. I was treated with care and professionalism. Thanks to Effie’s Bridal, my dress was a showstopper! Loved my experience there!

Effie’s was the very first place I tried on dresses and wanted to see what other stores offered so I kept shopping. While I found my dream dress at another store, I was so impressed with the customer service at Effie’s, I returned there to purchase my dress. They made everything so easy, and it’s obvious everyone loves what they do and work hard to find the perfect dress for every bride.

Imagine slipping into your wedding dress 30 minutes before your first look. Do you picture the elastic loops holding the buttons on the back falling apart? Sadly, that’s what happened to me. Instead of being excited and giddy, I was confused and in tears being sewn into my dress, so it would stay shut. I spent $2k on an Allure Couture dress with Effies. After the wedding I called, provided photos of the elastic that fell apart (my alterations only hemmed my dress, nothing else, and it was the correct size), and was told they would “try” to talk to Allure. Allure is one of their largest vendors. After weeks of follow up, I was told “sorry, no warranty”. Reading past the fake “!” in the text thread (below), they weren’t responsive and didn’t care. Why would they - They already had my money. It was and it still is heartbreaking to be treated like that and to have gone through that experience on my wedding day. Brides - Effies is a nice place to buy a dress, I agree, but if something goes wrong after you leave the store, the don’t stand behind their dresses. It’s sad, but important to know. I’m stuck with a dress that need to be fixed at my own expense. After weeks of back and forth, Effies offered me new loops from Allure. The same loops that fell completely apart – like, what? Oh and $25 to get them sewn on which we all know does not cover that type of alteration. I said thanks for the insulting texts, no thanks. Go somewhere else to buy your bridal gown. It’s not worth the heartbreak.

I am a very indecisive person, and I never anticipated buying a dress the day I was shopping. When my group got to Effie's we were able to walk around and tag dresses for me to try on, which was so much fun. Amanda was so helpful in narrowing down styles and fabrics, and helping me see what each dress would look like on me. I found a dress I loved so much that I bought it that day, and it was perfect. I am so thankful I went to Effie's, I loved my wedding dress!!

I felt so comfortable here. The consultant was very helpful in finding my dress by having me explain what I liked about certain dresses and what I didn’t like. I got to pull dresses but my consultant pulled some too based on my feedback. Fun but professional environment.

Effie’s Bridal Trunk went above and beyond my expectations for dress shopping. I went to three other bridal shops but found that Effie’s seemed to have the best selection of dresses in the realm of what I was looking for (and overall) so when I didn’t find a dress the first time, I knew I wanted to return at least one more time to Effie’s and I’m so happy I did! I originally went on a Saturday and it was busy (though I never felt rushed) but when I returned it was a weeknight and I think I may have been the only bride shopping which meant all the dresses were on the racks and not possibly in dressing rooms. Throughout both appointments both my consultants (and other employees) were friendly, patient and I felt like they were really listening to me and pulling dresses that they thought I would like (including expanding my horizons). (I’m terrible with names so I apologize for not being able to give a shout-out to the individual consultants- but honestly EVERYONE there was fantastic!) In addition, I appreciated how they were watching my body language and not trying to force me to say yes to a dress that I wasn’t in love with, even if it looked good. They were low pressure and willing to work with me for as long as I needed to make sure I got the right dress for me. The dress I ended up falling in love with was the second to last dress I tried on- the moment I put it on, I didn’t want to take it off. It checked all my boxes- v-neck, appliques all over, defined waist, buttons down the back, train, and it even had sparkly tulle! When I said yes, they were ready with the champagne which just made the experience a little more special! The day of the wedding, and after, I received so many compliments on the dress and how it was “so me.” I would recommend (and already have!) Effie’s to any brides!

I had such a wonderful experience at Effie's Bridal Trunk! They created a very warm, welcoming environment for me and my bridal party as I tried on dresses, which I found really helped me feel comfortable and confident as I picked out what will probably be the most meaningful (and expensive!) outfit I will ever buy. They have a great and varied selection, and gave me the opportunity to browse on my own with my maid of honor, which I appreciated. They also had very kind and helpful staff, who never gave a single sigh of frustration at how many dresses I was trying on! If they fall within your budget, I would definitely recommend stopping by their store in Saint Paul!

Effie's Bridal Trunk was the third wedding dress shop I visited, and they had several dresses that I would have loved to wear on my wedding day - what an wonderful problem to have too many great options! Their manager was a delight to work with, and in the end he helped me choose one that I adored. Somehow the gown had all the elements I came in wanting, yet was still different than I expected. In addition to a beautiful beaded veil, I chose Willowby by Watter's Papillon dress, an ethereal garment with butterfly wing beading on the bodice and dreamy layers of creamy tulle for the skirt. Shy of having another wedding, I am on the lookout for any excuse to wear this dress, which truly made me feel like a fairy princess, again! Thank you, Effie's, for your excellent selection, lovely atmosphere, and friendly staff that helped make all this possible.

As far as my wedding goes, the dress was far down on the list of things I care most about. So my first stop dress shopping was at the large chain store (not Effie’s) to get something that looked nice and check that off my list. My consultant at that store didn’t show up, so the manager took my appointment unprepared and multitasking. I and left without making any progress thinking maybe I should try something better. I made an appointment at Effie’s on a weekday morning and had THE BEST support from Andrew. He was so patient and helpful with me not really knowing what I wanted. He could tell what I was thinking about a dress and could put it into words when I couldn’t. I tried on so many dresses, I thought he’d suggest we come back another day, but he didn’t. I eventually found my dress from Lis Simon, a designer you can only get at Effie’s in MN. It is not in yet, but I didn’t want Andrew and Effie’s to wait months for a well deserved 5-star review, or for fellow brides to miss out on the recommendation. You will be in the best of hands here. ♥️

I had an amazing experience at Effie's! The staff who was helping me made my time shopping for my wedding dress so special. I enjoyed the little bridal scavenger hunt that we did and then they popped a bottle of champagne, it was very special and so much fun. I had great customers service the entire time. although, one of my bridesmaids dress was incredibly late, the management and staff at Effie's were very accommodating in helping my bridesmaid find somebody for last minute alterations. I really appreciate it all of the help that they gave us.

I had worked with Effie's previously as a wedding vendor (I'm a photographer!) and I immediately knew I would someday go there to shop for my own wedding dress! They were so great to work with and I love their shop & location. I had my appointment with Andrew, who is the best of the best. He showed me many great options for my style, laid out options for customizations as needed, and was respectful to my budget. As soon as I tried on my Mikaella dress, I knew it was the one. I received so many compliments on my dress, and I am so thankful to Mikaella and Effie's Bridal Trunk for bringing it to me!

From walking into the store, finding my dress, and coming in to try the dress on for the final time before I took it home, Effie’s Bridal Trunk was perfect through it all! Their kind, friendly, and responsive team makes the whole wedding dress experience easy! When I came in to try my dress on the final time, their was a scheduling mishap. However, they were quick on their feet and was able to squeeze me in (without feeling rushed) and made it possible. I highly recommend Effie’s to anyone looking for their wedding dress!

We went to Effie's for my dress and our bridesmaids' dresses. It's a super cute shop with really friendly and helpful staff. They have a wonderful selection of dresses. I also bought a few accessories there (belt and hair vine). I would certainly recommend Effie's to anyone looking for their wedding dress or bridesmaid dress!

The whole staff at Effie's is just wonderful! Piper was my consultant, and made me feel comfortable and beautiful (she actually picked my dress!). It was my first time shopping for dresses, and although I knew what I wanted she helped make it a reality. When I said yes to my dress, they popped champagne for me and my crew - so fun! We also got our bridesmaids dresses through Effies, and that entire process was wonderful too. I was struggling to decide on dresses for my girls, and they were very patient with us. After the wedding, I brought my dress into Effie's to get preserved, and once again that entire process was seamless. I highly recommend Effie's to everyone! They have gorgeous gowns, but their staff is what makes the experience.

I had initially visited Effie's and found some wonderful dresses. I then visited a few other places, but went back to Effie's for my final pick. Not only did the dress options draw me back, but the customer service and experience could not be matched. Amanda did an amazing job making the entire experience stress-free, fun and special all at the same time. Would recommend 100 times over!

I had a great experience at Effie's Bridal! They were focused on me one on one and listened to my style and wants for my wedding dress. It was so fun to pick our dresses myself and to see their opinions with choices that I would not have thought of. I never once felt rushed and they even celebrated with me when I found the dress that I loved! So thankful for this inviting, friendly, and relaxed experience to find the perfect dress.

I loved my experience at Effie's! We had the entire shop to ourselves, even before the pandemic happened. They have so many gowns at various price points. The owner was incredibly sweet and gave me a discount on my dress (I came in one day before the Black Friday sale started), which helped me get my dream dress in my budget! I loved their champagne toast after I said yes to the dress!

I went into Effie's with a general idea of what I thought I wanted in a wedding dress. We pulled about 8 dresses that were within my budget. The first dress I tried on was the ONE. After trying on about 5 more dresses, I went back to the first dress. I loved everything about it (the length, the detail, the way it made me feel) and I believe the consultant I worked with was extremely patient and understanding of all the emotions I was feeling. She was amazing!! I also got my veil from there. They had such a good process in place for try on/pick up, especially during COVID.

I was very disappointed with the communication at Effie's Bridal Trunk. I was told at my first appointment that I should get a size 6 and that I would likely need it to be slightly altered. I was hesitant to agree to this size given that it was much larger than I expected but I trusted their measurements and reassurance that wedding dress sizes are much different. When I returned for my fitting appointment I found the dress to be much too large, particularly in the areas that they said would be snug. I had not changed weight at all since my previous appointment. The employee reassured me again that alterations would fix these changes and when I inquired about cost they told me it would be between $100-300 for alterations and recommended that I go to the alteration store that they have a partnership with for a discount. After having my dress adjusted with the recommended alterations I was quoted $1100. This was as much as my dress cost! The alterations lady also told me that my dress was clearly 2-3 sizes too large. I was shocked and very frustrated to say the least. I then went to many other stores who all quoted me above $700. When I called Effie's to explain the situation they said that there was nothing they could do since I already had the dress in my possession. I felt deceived and I wish that had I gone with my instinct about getting a smaller dress. I am very disappointed that they do this to brides.

I had a great experience at Effie’s! Velida was AMAZING! She listened to everything I wanted and helped me find my perfect dress! When my dress came it had a small hole from shipping and Effie’s did everything they could to make it right and gave me a discount on the dress!

Valida was amazing! She has such a wonderful personality and had me pegged instantly. I came in not knowing what I wanted and she chose the perfect dresses for me to try after only briefly chatting with me. Her knowledge is spot-on!!! I highly recommend Effie’s and look for Valida’s warm smile.

Shopping for a wedding dress at Effie’s was one of the most fun and relaxed experiences of planning our wedding! They were extremely helpful and welcoming, they accommodated my large group, and they really took the time to get to know me and help me find a perfect dress within my budget. I had an amazing experience with Effie's! They were so patient with me and my million dresses I tried on. I went back a couple of weeks later and didn't have an appointment and they were still able to assist me. They honored a discount that I had missed out on a couple of weeks earlier, my dress came in on time and it was beautiful. I feel their communication was great. I ordered my dress in Sept 2018 for my July 2019 wedding and my dress came in April 2019 which is exactly when they said it would. I do think it took awhile to come in but they did tell me that was the target date. They also recommended a great seamstress.

I had a wonderful experience wedding dress shopping at Effie's! There are many gorgeous dresses, most of which are priced near or below $2,000. The shop was busy but did not feel crowded. The shop is really cute -- They have a gorgeous "Pink Room" that perfectly accommodated my large shopping group and made the "say yes to the dress" moment so much fun. They gave us champagne and a bottle of wine to celebrate. My consultant was very patient with me as I slowly deliberated between two dresses. She was not pushy at all, which I appreciated greatly, and she encouraged me to take the time I needed to choose the best dress for me (even if that meant returning another day). I was impressed by the patience and kindness of all of the staff members -- even though we ended up being there for awhile after closing to fill out paperwork and celebrate together. I would highly recommend wedding dress shopping at Effie's!

For me, I was excited to start of the process of finding my dream dress, but was also a little emotional about it, and was not sure on what I was looking for. The Staff at Effie’s was absolutely amazing. They were so patient, knowledgeable and so so caring! I ended up coming back a second time to try on the dress I thought I loved.. I put it back on and I knew it was what I wanted to wear when I said yes to the man of my dreams! My experience with wedding dress shopping was so special thanks to Effie’s!

I really enjoyed the pace and set up of my appointment, it almost felt like a hybrid of sorts. 50% the consultants picking based off of my questionnaire I filled out before the appointment and 50% my bridal party and I shopping the racks ourselves. My consultants were very supportive of my decisions and didn’t push me further than was necessary to try things on that I automatically felt were a ‘no’ but would coax appropriately. If I put it on and didn’t want to go out in it, not a big deal! I felt very well attended to and did not feel the pressure to go home that day with something (even though I ended up doing so anyway!) thanks everyone for a great experience!

It was so easy and fun to buy my dress here! I went on a Thursday evening, the shop was quiet, and the two dresses I asked about on advance were already out alongside a few others the consultant and manager had pulled. My four guests and I were then shown around the store and given the opportunity to tag different dresses for me to try on. I think we went through eight or nine all said and done, but in the end I couldn't help falling in love with the dress by Willowby I'd picked out ahead of time. Miraculously, the sample for that dress already fit me remarkably well, and the consultant advised me I could buy the gently used sample then and there for a great price! I ended up leaving my first ever bridal appointment with a dress in hand, so much easier than I had ever thought possible! This shop has wonderful service, selection, and ambiance. Definitely worth the drive through rush hour to get there from the twin cities 😉

I had a hard time finding the poppy color for my bridesmaids dresses but Effies had so many great color options! I was so pleased with the knowledgeable staff helping us pick the perfect dresses and accessories to go with! Not to mention, the shop is adorable!! Thank you Effies!

I had an amazing experience at Effie’s. Did some other shopping after initially trying dresses, came back to Effie’s in the end for their great customer service (Gale was amazing!) and the price of the dress I loved. They popped champagne for us when I said “yes” to a dress, and made me truly feel like a bride. I live an hour outside of Effie’s, and they even recommended a place for alterations that’s less than 20 minutes from my house. Couldn’t beat this! I’m so excited to be an Effie’s bride!

Effie’s bridal was amazing when I picked out my dress. It was the whole bridal experience brides dream about. They even pop champagne when you say yes to the dress. Very wonderful! I do have two gripes about the store. 1 is they don’t do alterations and 2 when I picked up my dress it was not like the first visit. I arrived early to pick up my dress. The lady was able to get me in right away but said because I arrived early the room with accessories was not available, this was after I was already in the fitting room. I figured no biggie I can wait. Everything went well with the dress fitting and she packed up my dress. When I asked about seeing the accessories, she claimed because my appointment was bumped up they already had someone else in there. I drove 40 minutes and was really excited to see accessories with my dress. I was very disappointed and decided to look for accessories else where. I still think this Is a great place to pick out your dream dress. Just not all the employees are stellar.

Effie's was absolutely wonderful. They have an amazing shop and a wide range of drop dead beautiful dresses from Pre-owned all the way up to high-end designer gowns. They treat you like a queen too! I would absolutely recommend to anyone.

I have mixed reviews when working with Effie's Bridal. I bought my first dress in May 2017 for a June 2018 wedding. When my dress arrived in November the manufacturers completely ruined the dress. I ordered a dress in an "antique" color and when they gave me my dress it was in blush. The sales associate was trying to convince me to buy the blush color dress and that they would give me a discount since it was wrong- I was pretty upset that she was even trying because I was so upset that it was wrong. I don't understand how a company could send you a dress knowing that the dress color was wrong. She then said to me "unfortunately we have other women who are experiencing this and they don't have enough time to change it". I know that she was trying to make me feel better but that's not convincing that you ruined multiple wedding dresses. I wanted to go somewhere else but due the contract that you sign when you purchase your dress they won't give you your money back. Luckily we had some time before my wedding but unfortunately I had to start the process all over again and get a new dress. At first they told me that I could only find another dress by the same designer but eventually they let me choose any dress available because they knew I how upset I was about the situation. I know the dress mishap wasn't entirely the store's fault but it was just a horrible experience for any bride to go through and ruined the whole experience for me- something a bride should never have to experience. The sale associates were friendly and didn't pressure me to buy anything I didn't want. In the end I think the second dress was a little better than the first dress which was nice. I'm sure other brides had good experiences here but I would not recommend any bride to visit this store.

Found the perfect dress. Had a wonderful sales associate help try on 15+ dresses until I found it. She was very patient and helpful. The dress came on time as did the veil and there were no issues.

I found so many dresses that I loved here, I think I tried on a total of 20 dresses and the lady helping me was so patient and yet so helpful! I found my ideal wedding dress here and it was perfect. The only thing I wish they did here was hemming and alterations here but other than that this place was perfect!

Do not recommend this place if you are plus sized. They didn’t have any dresses above a size 16. The woman could see that my friend and I were both bigger girls (me a size 20, her a 22) and told us which sections to look in that matches our price range, but didn’t bother advising us that we wouldn’t find a single thing in our sizes.

I purchased my DREAM bridal gown from Effie's, with the help of the most friendly employee (Jordan). They had an incredible selection, a gorgeous room with mirrors all around in which to try on the gowns, and I truly felt like a bride. It was a very magical experience!

I went to many bridal shops prior to making the drive to Effies to find my wedding dress. The service and selection at the other bridal shops I visited in the twin cities was nothing to write home about. Nothing compared to Effies! Effies has something for everyone, and the prices are honest and reasonable. I worked with Elizabeth, and her service was simply outstanding! She spent alot of time with me in helping me find my wedding dress and accessories and also dresses for my mother and sister. Elizabeth allowed me to select the dresses I wanted to try on in addition to her picking out dresses that she thought I might like. Working with Elizabeth really made the experience enjoyable for us, when it had felt rushed and stressful prior to coming to Effies. You will not get a better experience anywhere else! Thank you Elizabeth and Effies Bridal for giving me a memorable experience in selecting my special dress!

My dress from Effie's was absolutely perfect! I was fortunate enough to work with Bobbie and she was absolutely fantastic. Within the short time we were there, I truly felt like we bonded. She was extremely attentive to me and listened to my thoughts and opinions. I never felt rushed or pressured to buy at all. I brought along 4 people with me and they all had nothing but positive things to say about both Effie's, Bobbie and the experience. Effie's selection of dresses was wonderful and I ended up finding an absolutely gorgeous dress! The day of my wedding, I received so many complements and the pictures from that day are absolutely breathtaking!!

I loved everything about Effie's! I really liked that they had all their dresses out on the floor so everyone who was with me got to pick out a couple of dresses for me to try on. They were so patient and great with recommendations of accessories- in fact it was their recommendation to add a belt to my dress that made me choose it as "the one!" I was disappointed they didn't have anyone to do alterations on-site but they did provide a list of recommendations.

I went to one other bridal salon in the Cities, and this was the best by FAR. I LOVED being able to personally see the dresses and choose what I wanted to try on, not necessarily just what the consultant thought I would like. My consultant worked to understand what I saw in my head, and worked so hard with me to make that vision come true! I have been recommending them left and right!

I had a great experience getting my dress at Effie’s! The shop is very nice and they have a great selection. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. This was my first stop when dress shopping, so the consultant took the time to show us how the store was organized and explain different designers’ styles so that it was easier to narrow down which designers I would be interested in. She also made sure to show us how designers were often grouped together by price range, so it was easy to avoid falling in love with a dress that was over my budget. I ended up buying my dress at Effie’s after going to other stores and not enjoying the experience as much. I could not be happier with my dress! It was so beautiful, and now that my wedding is over I find myself wishing I could wear it again!

I went in to bridal gown shopping thinking I would find "the dress" at the first stop (biggest mistake ever) so needless to say, I was very discouraged and ready for the day to be over by the time I was at my final appointment. Effie's turned my attitude around the moment I walked through the door. They create a very relaxed environment and I loved how involved my guests were. The staff was great and really listened to what I wanted/didn't want. I would highly recommended stopping at Effie's. They created a memory that will last a life time :)

After going to a couple salons in the city, I found Effie's the service here was wonderful!

Found a beautiful dress but the customer service was not ideal. The woman helping me kept disappearing and did not know how to answer my questions. TWCIE she stated "I have no idea what I'm doing.." Not comforting as a bride. They also promised to update me as my dress arrived late and I received no calls, I had to call myself multiple times. They really need to work on their staffing and communication. Overall dress selection and store is very beautiful.

After trying on too many wedding dresses to count, I found my fit at Effie's. The staff was so helpful, showing me options that brought the vision for my bridal look to life. Lots of shopping ended in true celebration with a bottle of champagne and kind congratulations. I'd recommend saying "yes" to a dress from Effie's Bridal Trunk.

Effie's Bridal Trunk was such a great experience for me! I purchased my wedding dress, majority of my bridesmaid dresses, veil, headpiece and earrings from the store and couldn't have been happier with my overall look the day of! The staff, especially Elizabeth and Jordan, were incredibly helpful the night of in helping me find the perfect dress but also in sharing with me all the options I had for accessories when I picked up my dress! The store is so cute and made it really the ideal situation to "say yes to the dress" (if I must)! I couldn't recommend this place more, especially on the quieter Thursdays or Sundays, it really made it seem like it was my day to enjoy! Thanks Effie's!

I highly recommend Effie's! I went to two other bridal shops the same day they didn't even compare! They have a huge variety of dress selections and prices. Elizabeth was the consultant that helped me and she helped pick great dresses for me and got me fitting into the samples well. I had a big entourage of 9 and they were very accommodating to my group. Elizabeth ensured that I actually liked the stuff that my entourage kept having me try on which was thoughtful of her lol. They even stayed open late so we could enjoy champagne after I chose my dress!!

Effie's is the best bridal salon in the Twin Cities. I went to several stores in search of my dream bridal gown and bridesmaids dresses. I found my gown and all my bridesmaids dresses at Effie's. My gown came in and fit perfectly, it also came within the six month time frame I was given. I would recommend Effie's to any bride in the search for their dream gown. Staff is friendly, professional, helpful and experienced! It was so nice doing everything at one store! Last summer I found my dream dress at Effie’s. Unfortunately everything that happened after that was a nightmare. I was told my dress would take up to six moths to come in, in fact I specifically asked the girl who was helping me if she has ever had a dress take longer than six months and she said no, never. I waited six months and didn’t hear from them so I called them. They also never called me when my veil came in even though I had specifically asked them to, but little did I know my veil was the least of my problems. I took three phone calls to get any information before I was finally told my dress had been delayed and would be here a month before my wedding. It’s a good thing I ordered earlier than they recommended. I was given a ship date and was told it would for sure be there that day and I could come pick it up, but if for some reason it didn’t come in that day they would call me. I showed up to pick up my dress and they still didn’t have it and the girl working that day had no idea I was even coming. The finally got my dress the next week and when I tried it on for the first time it was so tight in the hips it almost didn’t zip. I was in tears as the manager took my measurements again. My bust and waist measurements were the exact same as the day I ordered the dress however my hip measurement was five inches bigger than what the girl had written down. They told me I must have gained weight which is not only rude but a complete lie. Gaining five inches only in your hips is physically impossible. Clearly a mistake was made and they chose to blame me instead of taking responsibility for their employee’s mistake. They had every opportunity to make it right and instead they gave me a 5% discount and told me to take it or leave it. I asked to speak to the owner who refused to take my phone call or call me back. I had to deal with the manager who is unprofessional, rude, inexperienced, argumentative and really just terrible at her job. They refused to acknowledge or even apologize for any of the many mistakes they made and I was left less than a month before my wedding with a dress that I couldn’t even sit down in. This is a terrible shop run by awful people who don’t care about their customers once they have your money. They have no business selling $3000 wedding gowns to trusting brides. I would recommend avoiding Effie’s at all costs, it’s not worth the risk of ordering from a shop like this.

Although I ended up purchasing my dress elsewhere (designer that Effie's didn't carry), Effie's was AWESOME! Not only did they let me visit twice to try on just about every dress in my price range, the consultants both times were patient and helpful. I didn't feel pressured to purchase or make a snap decision, which was really appreciated. One big plus side of Effie's is that while it's organized by designer, it's ALSO organized mainly by price range, so if you have a firm budget, the consultants can tell you which of the "rooms" you can afford. Makes it much easier because it keeps the unattainable dresses out of reach!

Effie's is the best!! I had appointments booked at other bridal stores and ended up canceling because I found the perfect dress at Effie's Bridal Trunk. They had so many styles and prices to choose from! The staff is very knowledgable on designs, sizes, and everything in between. I left feeling confident about my dress choice and never looked back. Would recommend to any bride!!

Best experience ever. I went to Effie's twice, the first to try on dresses and determine if the style I had in mind would work in person. I then went back a couple months later (after visiting other bridal shops) knowing this is where I wanted to buy my dress. Not only did they have a huge selection of all style dresses but the associates do not work on commission so I never felt pressured to buy a dress. I worked with Bobbie both times and she made the experience SO MUCH FUN. She encouraged me to step out of my box a little and I walked away with a dress that I absolutely love. -They even give you a champagne toast after you say yes! Effie's gave me the wedding dress experience I had always imagined!

Worst experience ever, filthy as you walked in. Staff was unprofessional, would have had better service if we went to a fabric store and just started piecing strips of fabric together. Some of the party drove over 5 hours and the bride was in tears before second dress, associate did not help and kept disappearing. Nothing organized, like a big TJMAXX only with rude obnoxious staff.

LOVED my experience at Effie's! They were so warm and welcoming and made searching for a dress easy. You actually get to pull the dresses that you want to try on, not just let someone pull them for you. Great place!

I got my dress from Effie's last November for my wedding last month. Effie's offered phenomenal customer service. I felt like it actually was about helping me find a dress, rather than just making a sale. They had a good range of options for the size of the store, and I found a charming tea length dress. I got SO MANY compliments on my dress, and felt just gorgeous. Effie's also provided a list of seamstresses and even had a recommendation for one who had experience doing the kind of modifications I needed.

Couldn't be happier with my wedding dress. Fit like a glove. Great help picking out the dress and no issues with the dress once it came in. Highly recommend!

I usually don’t write negative reviews but I feel obligated to do so regarding my experience at Effie’s Bridal Trunk. I went here in July 2016 to look for my wedding gown. We had a pleasant associate help us. She was nice but she was also incompetent. I told her I wanted a simple gown and she continued to pull ball gowns. It was clear that she thought ball gowns were “bridal” and a simple gown was not. She also did not have a good grasp on the inventory or how to change brides out of gowns. Multiple times she could not unclasp and undue the dress I was in. I had a panic attack because she tried to get the gown off my head and I was trapped in the dress. She took up three changing rooms because she wouldn’t hang the gowns up again. She had only been working there for a couple of weeks and it showed. Perhaps management should train staff properly or hire individuals with previous bridal experience. To add insult to injury, she suggested I go to a plus size store to find my gown -- I hoover between a size 6/8. She never should have said that. Ironically, I purchased a sample size at a different store. Additionally, the store does not provide a variety of dress styles. I do not recommend Eddie’s Bridal Trunk.

I want to give a special thank you to the staff at Effie’s Bridal Trunk for providing such a great wedding dress shopping experience for me and my family! After a discouraging morning of shopping around for my dress, our last stop was Effie’s Bridal Trunk and the whole experience there turned my day around! They had such a wide variety of dresses and styles to select and I eventually was able to find the dress of my dreams with the help of family and the amazing staff at Effie’s! My dress made me feel beautiful and confident on my wedding day – I could not have asked for anything better!

Awesome place to buy a dress! They go out of there way to help you find the dress of your dreams!

I recently shopped for wedding gown at Effie's - and even though I ultimately bought my dress elsewhere I would definitely recommend this place to any bride to be! Our attendant Maria was very easy to work with, and allowed us to pick out dresses we liked while still making recommendations and sharing ideas from her own expertise. She stayed within my budget for all gowns, and was very attentive to my likes/dislikes and preferences. The building was beautiful on the inside, exactly how you would picture a bridal shop! It was a great experience overall, I ultimately found my wedding gown elsewhere - but I may be back to find bridesmaids gowns soon!

My experience finding a gown was not the reason this is rated low. My experience finding one was as expected: an attentive assistant realizing your style and finding the perfect dress. It was even beyond perfect with their pink room and mirrors galore. This is as expected by any bride, hoping to have a beyond normal experience finding "the dress"! Now for the bad part, once decided, their assistant recommends sizing based on your measurements. Should be fine, right? These are professionals recommending sizing every day on what gown would fit best among sizes. I got a recommended size and went with it. When it was ready, I came in and it didn't even fit- they sized me too small. Now, having the initial lovely experience, this was a nightmare. I stayed the same shape and size and yet here my dress wasn't even able to zip up! I broke down in tears with the ladies from the shop telling me,"if you want the next size up, you'll have to buy a new one," and, "we'd be out of business if we returned every dress that didn't fit". This added on to the living nightmare. Not only did I pay for an expensive dress that didn't fit, they wouldn't even consider letting me return it! They stated it was my fault the dress didn't fit, "oops too bad". Research before you sign anything, make sure you go with your gut and not these "professionals". Wedding dress sizes run small, and I learned the hard way. I will not be recommending this shop.
