this wedding venue for multiple reasons. As a busy bride, I didn't have time, nor did I want to coordinate with a bunch of different vendors. They offered us a STELLAR bar and food package that BLEW OUR MINDS for our small intimate wedding. Five tray passed appetizers and fully stocked OPEN bar definitely peaked my interest. They also allowed us to select a starter, 3 options for dinner, plus desert. It was great that I didn't have to ask guests what dinner item they wanted ahead of time. Since this is a restaurant, the main course was served as restaurant style. We were also looking for a beautiful venue that didn't need a lot of "fluff." I didn't want to spend $10,000 on flowers and lighting. I wanted to enhance the already beautiful venue. They have an amazing outdoor set up with trees, lighting handing from the trees, a projector, beautiful white chairs with white decor and snug right up against the mountain. Having a desert wedding, I was concerned about the heat during the day or it being cold in the evening. They have heaters, fire place, misters, and fans. So another check! There was even an area for a dance floor and yet again, another item I didn't have to worry about bringing in. Lastly, LOCATION! This place is a Palm Springs staple, being newly local to the desert and having a designation wedding for our friends and family, I wanted everyone to see why we moved here. Eight4Nine is located on the main street in Palm Springs. It was 1 mile away from our hotel and easy for our guests to uber to without spending 30 mins in the car or spending a fortune renting a car. In January, Josh (event manager) was extremely prompt and thorough with his e-mail correspondence. We messaged for MONTHS on and off planning our special day. He answered all of my questions, gave me advice, and offered guidance for what we could do. He worked seamlessly with my day of planner leading up to our wedding day. Two weeks before our wedding, I hardly had any wedding emails from the venue. I had passed over total control to the venue and my planner. Our wedding day was truly remarkable. Our planner was able to get into Eight4Nine and set up without issue. Egith4Nine had made notes of all of my requests and changed some of their decor to accommodate our color schemes. It was hot that day, and turned on their misters and fans. Our guests RAVED about the food (which we actually didn't try prior to signing our contract). We were delighted to actually be served and the staff made us feel like the most important people. The service was impeccable. Our guests told us, that this was the best wedding food they ever had! We even selected our their signature cake to serve our guests and we were told that the cake tasted like it was from a gourmet cake bakery. I can't say enough about what a special day Josh, Willie, and the Eight4Nine staff made for my husband and I. As a bride that wanted to elope, I am so happy that I didn't ! I'm even more happy that we chose Eight4Nine for our special day. We had an incredible experience from January to October. Our guests raved about the food and ambience. It was the best night of our lives. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! We are local to the Coachella Valley and can't wait to come back!

int. They went above and beyond our expectations as a caterer. Their team comes in to set up their station, the guests tables, the bar, and they leave your venue spotless by the end of the night, you don't even notice they're there. Our guests could not stop raving about how delicious the food was, with a lot of them saying it was the best food they've had at a wedding, they've never felt so well fed at a wedding, and how great the servers were. The servers came out every minute with a fresh plate of hor d'oeuvres during cocktail hour. The servers and bartenders were attentive and hospitable. The plating of the dishes, setting up and laying out the tables, the bar, the charcuterie spread, the plateware, silverware, drinkware ... they provide everything. They are so professional, and they made our wedding absolutely elegant. What made it even more special was the guest appearance of Mr. Willie Rhine himself. You can tell that he takes pride in his service and commitment to his customers. He answered any questions I had throughout the whole planning process. When you book with Eight4Nine not only do you get catering, but they become a part of your whole wedding planning. My husband and I cannot praise them enough. The Javier helped us with our food tasting and everything we had was so good it made it hard to choose our menu. We highly recommend them for your wedding or even dining in at the restaurant. It's a beautiful space with a unique modern touch, and the food is mouthwatering delicious.
