Eighty 8th Ave Photo & Video

I booked this photographer and videographer for my wedding on 8/19 due to all of the amazing reviews. Our engagement session pictures turned out great and while I love most of the wedding pictures, some of our contract was not fulfilled. Drone footage: we went with the package that promised drone footage and, you guessed it, no drone footage was shot. This is one of the main reasons I chose them as my photographer and videographer. To "compensate", they have offered a disc containing the entire day of raw video footage... the right compensation is reimbursement of the extra money we spent for this service. Still no resolution as of today. Photo album: I was told back in October (after consistently emailing them) that our wedding photo album would be created and sent out that next Monday. We have yet to receive it. After the phone call I had with them today, the album has still not been created. On top of the unfulfilled contract, communicating with them has been extremely difficult. They do not respond to emails and barely respond via phone call. On top of that, you have to stay on them for any kind of issue resolution. As of today, December 12th, we have not been compensated/seen resolution for any of the points above. Please avoid booking them as you cannot redo your wedding day. I am disappointed to say the least. I will provide an update to this review when we receive some sort of resolution. Thanks, Madison

I picked this venue due to the great reviews. However, the reviews are old and it is apparent that the company has gone through a change. The communication is awful. They don’t answer calls and barely respond to emails. I sent an email asking them to send required insurance and information to the venue and they never did. I also emailed to cancel my contract 6 weeks ago and someone responded that they were going through the process of hiring new people and offered a different photographer. I don’t trust that. I emailed 3 weeks ago to cancel and return my deposit due to their lack of communication and still haven’t gotten a response . I tried to reach out before leaving a low rating but the lack of communication is awful,

Michael was amazing to work with! He was very flexible with all the changes that happened through the evening. And captured the love and happiness throughout our wedding day. Misty B. was the best of the best. Her attention to detail in EVERY single photo was top notch. She made sure we got every photo that we wanted and included everyone is the process. We can't wait to see how our pictures turn out, but we know they will be amazing because we were in great hands. Her creativeness with some of the poses and pictures she chose were simply amazing. I can't say enough good things about her. If you're looking for a photographer in Atlanta, she is the one to go to.

Couldn't ask for a better photographer I receive more than from them than I would have for another company twice the price. This is the company for you!!!!!!

I loved my Wedding video and Photos they were the best!!!

Our photographer's name was Michael and we were so so happy he was with us the whole day! We did not realize how critical of a role the photographer is throughout the big day, but Michael stepped up in so many different ways! He talked us through cake cutting, and pushed the venue to let us take photographs in a specific location that we wanted. He also helped out when the schedule got a little funky. Overall, we loved Mike and are so excited to see our pictures!!

Eighty 8th Ave has absolutely the best wedding photographers! I knew after speaking with Molly and seeing some of their work, they would pick the best the photographer for my son and daughter in law's wedding and reception. We were 100% correct. I love their wedding pictures but, in my opinion, sometimes there is so much time taken away taking so many posed family pics and not enough "captured moments." Also, the bride and groom miss so much of their reception. We did not want that. Let me say, our photographer (Angela) will absolutely take any and all family or special requests pictures. She wanted to know every photo that we wanted. We had the normal family photos. But we have so much more. We have photos with the most special looks of love that you could imagine. If you want that something special, hire Eighty 8th Ave Photography. You will not be disappointed.

Mary at Eighty 8th Ave are absolutely amazing. From the engagement photos to every last wedding photo she made me feel completely comfortable and at ease. I can’t praise this company enough. They are the best. If I can I will definitely use her for any future events.

Daniel was the photographer for my October 2022 wedding and Eighty 8th Ave could not have picked a better person! Right from the beginning stages he was extremely caring and thoughtful when it came to planning our special day and making it everything we wanted. Rebecca was very thorough with the planning process and very professional she paid great attention to all the little details that were important to us. Daniel made our day so much easier and more relaxed just knowing he was taking care of everything we had previously discussed with Molly. I am so happy we trusted Eighty 8th with such an important day as we were left with the most beautiful pictures that we will forever treasure..
