I cannot say enough good things about eighty eight photo! The staff is so professional, yet so fun at the same time. Sam took a lot of time with us before the wedding to discuss every detail for the day of, leaving the day flawless and stress free. It was so nice having the option of two photographers so that the morning of Sam could capture all the fun and excitement of my best friends and I getting ready, while his assistant DJ did the same for my husband. The reality is, most people don’t like taking pictures. When I tell you everyone in my bridal party had so much fun, I’m not exaggerating. Sam really has a way with making you feel comfortable and he kept us laughing the entire time. This really showed through in all of our pictures- the smiles were genuine! Moving on to really the most important part, the actual photos. PERFECTION. Each one is so unique and beautiful. The creativity that went into some of the pictures was amazing. Sam truly is able to take any backdrop you give him and make it beautiful. Every picture is breathtaking. We also booked eighty eight photo for our videography. Again, the staff was wonderful! The way the entire team works together is awesome, it’s like they all move in sync with each other so that you aren’t repeating the same thing over and over. Which on wedding day, trust me, means a lot. They really know how to capture every part of a moment. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Sam and his team! Sam Comandatore at Eighty Eight Photo was the absolute perfect choice for our wedding! He was professional, good-tempered despite the extreme heat, and shot the most amazing photos at our venue, 1885 Farms! Sam requested to move the sofa and vintage truck into the shade, which helped immensely with our comfort levels in our outdoor photos. From start to finish, Sam Comandatore and his team were such a joy to get to know and work with. My new husband Zak and I live in Ireland (we grew up in the Midwest) and got married at the Metropolitan at the 9’s in Cleveland on June 7. We actually didn’t even meet Sam in person until our wedding day, but thanks to our great conversations and planning via Zoom meetings beforehand, it really felt like we were already friends when we finally met. Several family members even asked if Zak and I knew him personally because he blended in so seamlessly and made everyone feel so comfortable in front of the camera. And he’s so professional too! Zak and I were blown away by the team’s skill and dedication on our wedding day—they’re truly experts at their craft and pay so much attention to all the little details that make up each photo. I couldn’t be more thankful for how they took such great care of us and captured all the little moments of our wedding day with such finesse and care. Zak told me later that he didn’t even notice most of the time before the ceremony and reception when they were taking pictures or filming—they really do such a great job of capturing the day in a way that isn’t intrusive at all. Sam and the team completely blew us away with every single picture. They got so many photos and previews back to us even within the day! We had never had our pictures professionally taken before, and when Sam showed us our first one, we were astounded by his ability to create such stunning photos of us. It was really cool seeing some of these incredibly creative shots starring us! We met Sam at a bridal fair and discussed with him the challenges of shooting in our low-light wedding venue. At our first appointment, he immediately made us feel at ease and we just clicked. My wife and I were referred to Eighty Eight Photo by another photographer. It was divine intervention because hiring Sam and his crew at Eighty Eight Photo was the best decision we made for our wedding. First off let's talk about why you would hire a photographer in the first place...the photos/videos. Sam is an artist. Trust him when he tells you to pose a certain way. Our photos were amazing and people watch our highlight video every time they come over. I haven't had a single person not tell me they wish they had a video like that. They make the wedding day easy. They keep you on schedule without rushing and somehow manage to take great video and photos without you even realizing they were there working. Most of all, Sam and his crew were very professional and fun to work with. Having them at the wedding felt like having more family there. I highly recommend Eighty Eight Photo. We had an amazing experience with Sam throughout the entire process. I absolutely recommend him for any photo shoot you have in mind. He has a creative eye for dramatic and artistic photos, which was exactly what I was looking for. I cannot say enough great things about my experience with Sam and his team at Eighty-Eight Photo! We had a fantastic experience, from start to finish. First, Sam was one of the only vendors I worked with throughout the entire process of planning my wedding who consistently followed up with me, despite my occasional scatter-brain and lack of response because of the complete overwhelm of planning a wedding. He also answered all of my questions (and there were a lot) timely and thoroughly. It was also very important to me to find a photographer that I could trust, who was knowledgeable in their work and the Cleveland area. Sam constantly came back with fantastic suggestions when stuck on items such as places to take pictures with a 20+ person bridal party in the middle of winter in Ohio. If you have it in your budget, I would 100% recommend splurging on the second photographer. Sam and his team were able to capture all the important pictures while being able to play around with angles and use their creativity to capture some fantastic pictures I would have never been able to dream of! Finally, we got our photos and videos back at record speed (getting married during off season definitely helped with this part) and he has continued working with my family since for printing and books. I will definitely be going back to Eighty-Eight for future family photo needs!

Our experience with them was 10/10. From our initial communication to our first meeting, engagement pictures, week of meeting and wedding day, Sam and his team are top notch. They are extremely fun to be around and make you feel very comfortable but most importantly deliver amazing images. Sam is incredible! He did our wedding in July, and he delivered incredible photos quickly, acted with such professionalism, and made the entire night more fun & memorable! My mother-in-law takes a lot of photos and knows about wedding photography, so when we were looking for a photographer, she had high expectations. Sam checked every box and went above and beyond what she imagined! Sam was very genial and friendly with my husband & me as well as our guests. He was flexible and rolled with whatever happened on the hectic day! He was also helpful with following the timeline and making sure things stayed on track. He kept the energy high and got great candid shots of us and our family and friends. My husband & I cherish the photos and can't wait to look back on them as the years go on! In the lead up to the wedding, he was very communicative and helpful, providing us tips for creating our timeline and ensuring things would go smoothly. On the day, he showed up early and stayed long into the party. Although he promises photos within 2 months, we got them only one week later!! While I can't promise that expedited timeline always, I know Sam works diligently to provide his clients his best! We booked Eighty Eight Photo for our October wedding at Gervasi Vineyards and were extremely pleased. Sam was very good at communicating with us leading up to the wedding. There were great discussions where we shared our expectations with him and he provided feedback based on his experience. With clear expectations on both sides, the wedding day went very smooth and on schedule. Sam and Mark were wonderful with the wedding party and our family, joking around and making everyone feel at ease. Admittedly, we are a couple who does not like to be in front of the camera and Sam helped us make the whole experience our own; he kept us comfortable and allowed us to be ourselves, while taking his own creative liberties! He also got our photos back to us in record time, less than 2 weeks after the wedding! Top notch customer service from start to finish and overall a pleasure to work with, both personally and professionally.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Hiring Sam to photograph my wedding was probably the single best choice I could have made. Memorializing the day was very important to my husband and I and we searched long and hard for the right style and overall experience. Sam hit the target every single time. His portfolios stood out to us among the sea of studios and we could not have been happier with the outcome. My wedding photos are timeless, colorful, and full of joy. His 2nd photographer, Shawn was also excellent. The two of them kept everyone smiling all day.  I also appreciated the genuine effort Sam has made to get to know my husband and I. We had several planning meetings as well as an engagement shoot (which I highly recommend to help prep for the big day!) and it was so obvious Sam cared about every little detail.  I know as my family grows, I’ll be returning to Eighty Eight Photo for albums and Christmas cards for years to come. We came across Eighty Eight Photos during one of the Today's Bride wedding shows at the IX-Center in January 2022. Let me tell you, hiring Eighty Eight Photos was the absolutely the BEST decision my husband and I could have ever made to capture our wedding day experience! Before we hired Eighty-Eight to capture our big day, we met with Sam, lead photographer. We really appreciated that because it provided us an opportunity to connect with Sam, ask questions, and to see some of his previous work. From the moment we sat down on his couch, there was an instant connection! Sam was very professional. He had a list of questions on his screen that he asked us to ensure he understood our vision. We were also very grateful for this experience because Sam is so personable and funny! We had a really great time at his studio! I mean, we had such a great conversation that my husband and I were at his studio for over two hours! Sam took the time to filter our questions, set us at ease, and treated us as if we knew him for years. After we hired Eighty-Eight to be our photographer, we were given a client portal to access our contract, quotes, and a questionnaire to further explore the vision of our big day. The process was simple, easy to navigate, and it helped us get a true understanding of what we wanted. It didn’t just stop with a questionnaire! About a month before our wedding, we met with Sam again at his studio to go over the timeline of the day (which he took time to create) and expectations. I mean the man literally covered all bases to make us feel comfortable, confident, and peaceful going into our big day. We had ZERO STRESS about our media team and I’m telling you, it’s because Sam made things so simple! We decided to go with the Platinum package, which included two photographers, FULL DAY COVERAGE, print release to edited photos, an online gallery AND USB drive, and a 12 x 8 Leather layflat album! It was the best decision we could have ever made! Sam worked with me (the bride) and my ladies to capture us getting ready while Larry (the incredible second photographer) worked with my husband and his groomsman to capture them getting ready. It was truly the dream team! They both showed up early, in great spirits, ready to work! I was so impressed! They were engaged and made everyone feel at ease. Sam and Larry have a gift! And they certainly brought their gifts to our wedding day! Speaking of our wedding day, IT WAS AMAZING and we are SOOOO IMPRESSED with the turnout of our photos! It was everything we wanted and more! And if you’re not blown away yet, how about this….we were expecting to get our photos back in 4 to 6 weeks because that’s what we heard from other couples. But not Eighty Eight photos, we got our photos back THE NEXT WEEK! I mean, wow!!! Sam and Larry, with tears of joy in my eyes, thank you again for an incredible experience!! Sam had our photos ready in a little over a week. Insane. He had me in the office to chat with and talk about our event. He truly loves what he does and cares about his clients. All of my bridal party commented on how he was the best photographer they've ever seen. Not only is his personality a winner but so is his work. Our pictures are fabulous and we have SO many from all parts of our day! Would hire him again in a heartbeat for any project involving photography/film.

Sam is amazing!! I cannot say enough good things about him and his team. He was so easy to work with and made our wedding day so fun. Our pictures turned out incredible and Sam was able to get them back to us so quickly because of his hard work and dedication to his clients! We got such unique and special shots in addition to your traditional wedding photos. I would highly recommend having Sam be apart of your special day to capture all the magic.

Sam and Kris did an absolutely amazing job! They captured all of our moments and made our wedding pictures such a fun experience! We hate getting our pictures taken but they made it so easy and effortless and really helped us get our genuine smiles out. They were great with my crazy last minute requests and our long list of family pictures. Not only did they put up with our crazy group but got phenomenal pictures along the way! They captured our love and craziness perfectly. We can not recommend Eighty Eight photography enough!

Overall, we cannot recommend Eighty Eight Photo and Sam enough! Having wonderful wedding pictures that we could look at for years to come was one of our biggest desires throughout our wedding process and Sam far surpassed all our expectations and dreams. From our very first meeting, Sam was a pleasure to work with and was very attentive to the type and style of pictures that we were hoping for and had great input into picture locations. Sam’s attention to detail, establishing a timeline for our wedding day, and coordination with our limo bus driver allowed us to have a stress-free wedding day because we knew Sam and his team would deliver amazing pictures. Throughout our reception, we heard countless comments from our family and guests about how nice the photographers were and how attentive they were in capturing the best moments of the evening. They even coordinated with the MOB during the reception to capture additional group photos she wanted of family and friends. And if that wasn’t enough, Sam had our pictures available for viewing in a matter of days which allowed us to have our first look at them during the final days of our honeymoon which was the perfect way to end it! Overall, we are very grateful that we found Eighty Eight Photo and are truly appreciative for every Sam and his team did to make our day so memorable!

My husband and I were planning a wedding near Cleveland, Ohio while I was a 12-hour drive away. I am from Cleveland and we wanted to get married where it was the most convenient for the largest number of guests. Sam was extremely accommodating! He was willing to Skype and email with us for everything. We did not meet him face-to-face until the wedding day. With that said, I never once worried about the quality of service given how much work he put in so I could plan from so far away. Sam went to the venue before the wedding so he could scope out possible locations for pictures. We had our ceremony and reception at a golf course. My husband and I had never been on the golf course and had no idea where to even begin. We are so glad we trusted Sam! Our pictures could not look better! I also am really glad we trusted Sam with where to stand. There were times he would ask, "how comfortable are you standing in tall grass" or "are you willing to go out in the rain?" Those are some of my favorite pictures (although I warned him I would scream if a bug got on me while in the grass...). Sam is also extremely kind and friendly. He makes jokes and has fun while taking pictures. Pictures are stressful; you are exhausted two hours into them, but need to keep going. He made the whole experience fun! We could not be more grateful! (P.S. I did not upload the pictures as I do not have the final ones yet, just the ones online with the watermark.)

Sam was an amazing photographer to work with! Not only did he and Eddie make our wedding day photos go as smooth as possible, they took beautiful shots that we can cherish for the rest of our lives. My husband and I aren't used to getting our photos taken, but Sam kept us laughing and our smiles genuine. Definitely recommend Eighty Eight Photo to others!

The best! Sam and team are super fun, friendly and professional. I loved the versatility of the shots that they took. They checked all the boxes when it came to capturing more formal pictures, but included fun, artistic shots at well! We are so happy; couldn't have been more perfect!

Sam is the absolute BEST! I have now had the privilege of working with him for not only my own wedding but for our engagement photos and my brothers’s wedding. Sam was the absolute BEST. From our initial conversation before booking him, we absolutely knew he was the photographer we wanted to capture our day. He just wanted to get to know us and see if we were a good fit for each other rather than just trying to sell his business. Sam was incredibly responsive to all of our questions leading up to the big day and talked us through how we could expect the day to go. On the wedding day Sam (and Edric - you HAVE to get two photographers and hope for him!!) kept everything running smoothly, never made us feel rushed, and kept everyone entertained and comfortable. He took all of our requested photos, but also set up some super creative shots that we are SO excited to see. Just looking at a couple shots on his camera got us so giddy. We got rave reviews from our parents and wedding party about Sam as well. He is the BEST and we can't recommend him enough!

We recently used EightyEight Photo for our wedding in June 2021 and had the best experience! We originally spoke with several photographers to decide who was the best fit for us. Sam spent 45 minutes with us just getting to know us and telling us about himself, we felt like he really cared about making sure we had a great wedding day and loved our photos. From there things only got better. Sam was always incredibly responsive anytime we had questions. He also photographed our engagement photos which we were super nervous about. He made us feel super comfortable and made the whole process so easy. He spent a ton of time with us and got our photos back to us crazy fast, and of course we loved them all. He made our wedding day photos smooth and simple, there was no added stress surrounding photos, and we ended up with absolutely beautiful photos that captured us and our special day perfectly. We also used EightyEight for our videographer and had just as great an experience with that. Their whole team was so much fun to work with on our wedding day. They not only captured our ceremony and reception entirely, they also made us a beautiful 3 minute highlight video. This was so great because you don't always have time to watch hours of video when you just want to relive that special day, this highlight was a perfect glimpse into the whole day and was great to share with friends and family. We would absolutely recommend EightyEight, the high quality photos and service is totally worth every penny!
