t each dress to pulling others for me to try leading to a dress I missed while looking I fell in love with. She helped pull a veil that completed the look for me as well and just brought my dress to the next level. Having an onsite seamstress for alterations too was a huge plus. Maria is amazing and I trusted her through every step of that process. You wouldn't even be able to tell any alterations had been done and she helped teach my mom and maids of honor how to button, zip, and bustle the dress the week of the wedding. We also got bridesmaid dresses from here and they worked so well with my girls from out of the area to get their measurements in and ordered still from Green Bay so colors were all the same. They also were great about me picking up the dresses and getting them to the girls as needed too.

to try on. The dresses I did try on were beautiful, but I did not feel comfortable with my attendant as she did not even speak to me in the dressing room or when showing my guests dresses. It was like we were a burden or a waste of time. Horrible horrible experience and I would not recommend to anyone.

s there was a snow storm coming and canceled our appointment. There wasn't even a flake coming from the sky at the time yet and roads were completely clear. I offered for our large group to come in right away before the snow and they refused to see us even after explaining we had an out of state guest who would not be able to come if they didn't honor our appointment. Absolutely crushed that the maid of honor (bride's sister) will not be able to join us to choose the bridal dress and the bridesmaid dresses. I asked if even one employee could come in, that we would all bend and come as soon as they wanted, and she claimed every single employee that works at the store lives over and hour away from work and didn't want to come in. That's hard for me to believe. What store closes because of snow that is predicted for later? We will never shop at this store again.

other customers and employees. I was uncomfortable walking up to her to request anything; she was visibly angry and completely unprofessional. When we were there, we told them specifically that my maid of honor lived in Florida and would be getting her dress elsewhere. A happy accident led to my MOH being able to go dress shopping three months before the wedding. She was told that she could make a payment anytime the next month and the dress would arrive on time. When she returned to Florida and called in to make her payment, they informed her that the dress would not arrive in time. When she requested to speak to a manager, because that was not what was told to the BOTHof us, the manager proceeded to inform her that the other bridesmaids were responsible and came in with me months before and called her IRRESPONSIBLE three times over the phone for not coming when they did, although we specifically told them that she lived out of state. When my MOH tried to tell them what we were told in the store, she again called her irresponsible and told her that she should have understood that a payment needed to be made in the beginning of the month. She then informed my MOH that the dress would cost more than we were originally told because she was not responsible enough to make a payment in time. They were eventually able to come to a reasonable conclusion after the manager spoke with the employee that talked to us and realized that she was telling the truth. They then repeatedly requested her to come in to pick up the dress, and to get her measurements to ensure the dress fit, even though they got her measurements when we were there, because again, we explained that she lived in FLORIDA. They had no record of her measurements and told her, because she was arriving the day before the wedding, that she would just have to hope it fit. Are you freaking kidding me? You try to make my MOH pay extra for your mistakes, INSULT HER several times, and decline to listen when things are being explained to you?? I will ensure that NONE of those involved in my wedding ever return to Elaine's Bridal. This was absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. Their partner, Du Bois, on the other hand was completely accomodating, compassionate, and understanding. They bent over backwards to work with us, and even gave us a free tie rental for our tribute to the best man, who unfortunately passed away seven months before the wedding. Du Bois, perfect; Elaine's Bridal? IRRESPONSIBLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL.

an uphill battle.. but Elaine's made it so simple! I tried on probably 20 dresses and had my girlfriends take pictures of me in every single one of them. No issues taking pictures in the dresses. I tried on all these beautiful gowns and ending up buying the very first one I tried on. It's absolutely perfect and it was below my budget. I bought my accessories here too! My sales consultant was so accommodating and helpful. She focused 100% of her attention on me and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. I would highly recommend Elaine's! I found my dream dress and I can't wait for my future hubby to see me in it!

s and while waiting, another lady appeared asking if she could help us. When we told her we were waiting for someone she responded with "Yeah, me." We explained what we were looking for, which was a short dress with lace in a champagne, beige, tan or brown color, so we could decide what color we liked best. We were basically left to fend for ourselves rather than having her present us with options. When she returned with some color swatches to help me decide on a color, she continued to show me options I wasn't interested in. When I did decide on a color, not only did she proceed to show me long dresses when I was clearly looking for short ones, she couldn't tell me which short dresses would be available in the color I wanted in order for us to try any on. At one point, I even asked to see a dress she was holding in natural light as it looked more gray than brown and instead of walking over to the window mirrors with me, she handed it to me and told me to go over there. We were there less than 20 minutes and decided to pass on anything, as we had 3 other appointments, however, when we explained that we didn't think we were going to find anything, the lady told us she didn't know where else we thought we were going to find something. At this point, I'm just thankful I didn't get my wedding dress there.

The only positive things about the experience were the side selection of dresses to choose from, and the staff member at the front desk who helped narrow down our search options by matching item numbers with color swatch numbers.

it. They also won't let you take pictures until purchased (pictures really helped me pick which looked best). I understand why they are so scared of us going elsewhere now. When I went to my first dress fitting there were stains ALL OVER my dress. More than I could count. They told me it must have came to the store that way and that they receive all their dresses from China and have to clean them because they are gross. The alterations person pulled out a shout bottle and started to shout out the stains WHILE I WAS STILL WEARING IT. I stayed calm because I knew they would have to take care of it or I'd do this and give them bad ratings everywhere. Instead of having a manager apologize, they took off $35 of my over $300 alterations bill. That was insulting. I will never let anyone I know shop from here. I understand all the dresses are from China (so you might as well order it offline), but I came to Elaine's for the service and I was sadly disappointed.

o, the seamstress was not very helpful with alterations, she said the alterations would take 3 plus months, so I found a different place that was able to do the alterations in less than 2 months.

ith my mother & mother-in-law. I already knew the style of dress that I wanted, but the consultant kindly humored my two mothers and helped me try on dresses they wanted to see. When we finally narrowed it down to the right style, the consultant quickly scanned the full racks to find the only two dresses in my price range that matched what I wanted. I bought the second. Elaine's also had a tiara and garter that made the outfit perfect. They only thing Elaine's was missing was undergarments. I ended up getting a bustier from another bridal salon that didn't work perfectly with the dress. Not Elaine's fault, but something to watch out for.

getting thoroughly agitated, she put her finger on her chin and said "I have the perfect dress for you." She ran and got the dress and slipped it on me. By the time it got to my waist, I KNEW it was my dress! I'm so happy that I found Elaine's and that the consultant found my most perfect dress for me. Must visit here, worth it!
