Elana's Florist

My experience at Elana's Florist was disappointing in so many aspects. First, I came to Elana's in search of pre-made bouquets for my COVID elopement. I was not going to place any orders as I understood my 2 day timeline was short. I was then told by their staff that they were receiving a truckload and would be able to make a bouquet of what I wanted within my timeline. While originally not expecting this, I was happy and excited! I quickly showed their staff what I had in mind, what I thought was relatively simple, light and airy greenery with a mix of flowers. I said, I know its last minute but something similar to this would be great. Their staff told me no problem and to pick them up on Saturday. Expecting a call on Saturday to let me know my order was finished, instead I got a call "you know we close at 12:00 and you need to pick up your flowers?" I rushed over to pick up my order, to find a bouquet similar to that of a $5 Walmart arrangement- a dozen white roses. I fixed my flowers with FAKE flowers from Walmart to make it what I wanted. Afterwards, I called Elanas to politely communicate my disappointment, and wished they would have just told me my request was not possible rather than pay $75 for something I did not want. As if my experience was not disappointing enough, their customer service was probably the worst that I've ever experienced, arguing with my disappointment. Not only am I disappointed by their flowers, but also their communication and lack of value for their customers. After a poor experience of their staff invalidating my disappointment- I requested to speak with the owner, who never contacted me.

Elana took the vision of our “Wonderland Wedding” and truly brought it to life. Even prior to our big day she took the time and sat down with me on two separate occasions to go over all the details and layout for our wedding. Due to the outbreak of Covid-19, she was willing to accommodate 3 different dates for us along with 2 different venues, and then was completely hands on from set up to break down. The end result was truly beyond our wildest dreams, which included her floral arrangements, centerpieces, decor and most definitely her expertise. We cannot thank her enough for everything! Most definitely a 10/10

The most incredible florist I have ever and will ever work with. The flowers were everything I dreamed and more and she perfectly executed our dream arch. I am in awe of the masterpieces Elana creates and wish I was getting married every weekend so I could work with her over and over.

Elana's was so easy to work with, and understood exactly what we were looking for. Pricing was very reasonable. Our flowers turned out better than I could have hoped for, everything looked so beautiful. We use them for other occasions as well and we have never been disappointed.

Elena and her team are the BEST! Communication was great and Elana was very easy to get a hold of. She did multiple items for us (see photos). She also did the fabric on the pergola for us as well! She even reached out to me the day before our wedding to ask me a question regarding the flowers she ordered and their coloring. Extremely professional and friendly. Very affordable as well! HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend!

My flowers turned out to be exactly what I wanted. Though Elana was sometimes hard to reach, she delivered exactly what I asked for!

Elana was so awesome to work with, from the first planning meeting I had with her to my last minute changes she was cooperative and patient with this neurotic bride. She took my "inspiration" pictures and created truly beautiful bouquets and centerpieces. I would definitely recommend Elana and her crew moving forward and I will be using the shop myself moving forward for all my floral needs. Thanks Elana!

Elana is AMAZING!!!! She created beautiful, picture perfect bouquets and centerpieces. Also allowed us to rent a wooden archway to stand under and decorated it the morning of the wedding. Worked with us to pick similar looking flowers for more reasonable prices. Would recommend to anyone!!!! Worked very well with Sweet Melissa (our cake vendor) to decorate the cake with fresh flowers and deliver to our venue.

I was so blessed to be able to have Elana's on Broad Street as my florist for my wedding. Everything was over and above and I couldn't believe my eyes when everything came together. I would recommend them for a wedding florist no matter how basic or extravagant you would like your wedding flowers and decorations to be.

Elana and her team do an amazing job. I received 2 other quotes prior to contacting Elana and both were for more than double her quote. Her work was amazing and my flowers were absolutely gorgeous.

Elana was a dream to work with. I showed her a picture from a magazine to serve as inspiration. The flowers in the picture were not in season for a Fall wedding, but she was able to get the same look using different in-season flowers. The morning after the wedding, I found the original magazine picture I had shown Elana and held it up next to the bouquet -- perfect! She really nailed it. Elana's prices are also very fair. Great value. She is very knowledgeable and patient. My only complaint would be that she does not use email regularly. For brides that tend to sneak wedding planning into the work day and use email primarily, this was a little inconvenient. However, someone always answered the phone when I called and Elana was always very prompt in returning calls. I'd recommend her to anyone!

Overall was satisfied with service. Bouquet was delivered a little later then was suppose to, but was delivered before the wedding so all was good.

I relied on my wedding planner to book this vendor. Bottom line, I should have done my own research. Up front, I felt rushed through the "picking what you want" process. It was partly my fault since I booked several vendor appointments in one day, but we could have always "circled back". Instead I was coerced into picking something right out the box. And it was difficult because they didn't have samples to touch and feel. Everything was pictures of individual stalks of flowers out of a catalog. We went mostly with silk because the flowers I wanted were not in season. I should have asked for samples. In pictures they look fine, but day of the wedding, all the girl's flowers, including mine, were falling apart. We were taking pictures and flowers were popping off their stems. That is not because we went with silk. That is because we got cheap flowers. The flowers ordered for my cake were NOT what I wanted, (although they did offer to do a rush switch out last minute, but it wasn't worth the stress). In the end, the Cake Baker had to basically chop them up to get them to work... and although other's thought my cake was pretty.. it is NOT what I wanted. The men's flowers were not impressive, just, there... and also, didn't look like the pictures. The only live flowers we had were ceremony and centerpieces. The centerpieces actually did look amazing! People took them home and said they lasted for weeks. Same thing with some of our ceremony flowers (the ones by the stage). HOWEVER... I rely on my vendors (the professionals) as experts in each of their areas. And I should not have. If I as a bride say "i want this" and you as a vendor know it won't look like the picture I show you... SAY SOMETHING. The ceremony aisle markers looked like wilting crap. I absolutely hated them and am just grateful that they were not noticed by many of my guests (and if they were, they were polite enough not to say anything)... The reason was, I said I wanted bunches of lavender. I should have specified, DRIED lavender... not LIVE lavender. epic fail on that. Overall, they did a mediocre job, but then again I paid a mediocre price, so I should have known better. And if I ever need flowers again, I know to do my own research... or just call my cousin in NY... she's a florist and KNOWS how to do silk.

I admit, I am clueless when it comes to flowers. I think they are pretty and smell nice, and LOVE getting them, but other than that I took to google to start my wedding research. After getting more confused, I made an appointment with Elana. She had made my corsages for high school proms 10 years ago and I've purchased things from her shop in the past as well. She always does a phenomenal job. I sat down with her for the wedding and explained my vision, the color combination I wanted, and what I thought I liked. She was so attentive, informative and helpful. She made mock bouquets for me to see in person, so I knew if I really liked what I thought looked good in my head. She kept in touch with me throughout the planning process to make any changes, which we did! When everything came together on the wedding day, I couldn't have been happier. Her ideas came to life and were perfect with my theme and colors! I would recommend this local and talented florist time and time again!

I used Elana's Broad Street Florist and my flowers were amazing. Elana seemed very stressed though when I went to pick the flowers out and didn't have all my ideas lined up. It was great that I had a bridesmaid with me. Elana's broad street florist was in my wedding package with executive banquet and conference center so the price of the centerpieces was included in the price per person cost. I only paid for the ceremony decorations and bridal party flowers for bridesmaids and groomsmen- it was between $300-$400. My friend who did her own flowers spent over $500 for everything

Elana was wonderful to work with. She offered us good prices, and everything was beautiful! We made our own centerpieces, and she offered to take them to the reception site (35 minutes away from the church) for a nominal fee. She helped us out a lot. I would definitely go with her again.
