Lisa and Rachael are a dream to work with and truly went above and beyond as our wedding coordinators. Over the course of nearly two years, they expertly navigated not one but two wedding plans due to a venue change, and their dedication was nothing short of extraordinary.
From the very beginning, Lisa and Rachael were incredibly attentive to every detail. Their thoroughness in planning, from countless calls and meetings to their meticulous organization, ensured that no aspect of our weddings was overlooked. Their patience and flexibility in adapting to our changing plans were remarkable, and they managed to keep everything on track with grace and professionalism.
What really stood out was their genuine care and commitment to making our day perfect. They were always available to answer questions, offer advice, and provide reassurance during the process, which made everything feel smooth and manageable despite the changes.
Lisa and Rachael’s expertise and passion for their work were evident in every detail of our day. They transformed our vision into reality with incredible execution and a personal touch that made the day uniquely ours.
Additionally, they wrangled a wedding party of 23 (plus my husband and I, grandparents and parents) to manage a perfectly timely reception and a timeline that flowed beautifully through the whole event.
Lisa and Rachael are not only exceptionally skilled but also incredibly supportive and dedicated, they are a dream team. We couldn’t be more grateful for everything they put into our wedding.
I have to give these ladies five stars; if I could give more, I would. First, my wedding plans had to change because of an issue with the venue. We went from having a straightforward ceremony and reception to something more complicated. For Lisa and Rachel, this wasn't a problem.
Even though they were only booked for a day of coordination, they were with me every step of the way. We hammered down the schedule together and even had two phone calls to ensure we were all on the same page. They even had our habitually late relatives on speed dial to remind them to be on time.
The rental company forgot our chairs for set up and needed to bring them the day of. The scheduled day off for the outside chairs was supposed to be after 2:30 pm because that is when the rain was supposed to stop. However, the rental company arrived at 9 am and set up the chairs. The chairs were soaked, and Elegant dried each one (About 150) before guests arrived.
I cannot remember them enough. They were with me on every issue to figure out how to overcome any challenges.
100% recommend Elegant Event Solutions! They think of EVERYTHING!! Their years of experience allow them to ask all the right questions so they have everything they need up front and you can spend your wedding day focused on saying “I do” and spending time with your loved ones! If you have not considered working with a day coordinator I can not recommend or encourage you enough to do so! It is by far the best money we spent on our wedding day! The weight it lifted from both our mom’s shoulders so that they could enjoy the day as well is unparalleled! Plus these women are amazing to work with!!
I originally found Lisa and Rachael on The Knot and loved that they were a small team. We had met with a few larger company planners and it had felt so impersonal. From the first phone call with Elegant Event Solutions, I knew we found the day of coordinators for us! In the months leading up to the big day, Lisa would check in with our planning and help to build our timeline. We had plenty of in depth phone calls and felt like no detail was missed. Lisa was extremely thorough in planning which made the wedding day much easier. Even with a few snags on wedding day with crazy family and a stained wedding dress—Lisa and Rachael handled everything with ease. They were such an important piece of pulling our wedding off and we couldn’t have done it without them. EES guided us along to our perfect wedding back in April! I loved that even though they’ve done many weddings Lisa and Rachael seemed just as excited for our special day as we were. They also grasped what I imagined for our reception I was so happy when I saw it!
I am a musician that is hired for weddings for over 27 years. This efficient, calming, and experienced team held everything together for a bride and groom and guests AND all of the vendors. Her organized timeline, communication, and attention to every detail was admirable. I have worked with many Event Coordinators, and their hard work throughout the time leading up to the wedding and the Wedding Day itself was admirable. I would certainly hire them myself when the need comes.
Rachel and Lisa are thorough. Their attention to detail (schedule, menu, layout of venue etc) and professionalism combined with their experience were so reassuring, that as parents of the bride, we were able to relax and enjoy the day. They were an essential part of the success of our day!

I loved my experience with Rachael and Lisa. We booked them for full service wedding planning for our May 14th wedding. Rachael and Lisa were always so incredibly professional, but had a gift of making it more than just a working-relationship, we could talk for hours like we were old friends! Here's the thing all brides need to know (and Rachael and Lisa are up front about it!), there are some things your wedding planner cannot do (I really do wish they could've created my guest list and seating chart for me LOL!)... but my goodness, the things they can do... I truly don't know how I'd have gotten through the wedding without them. Any time I felt the planning stress, they were there to talk me down. They always knew exactly what to say and would do anything they could to de-stress me (if it meant making calls, they'd do it. They even offered to talk to *less than easy to work with* family members for us!). From start to finish, they were there all along the way, helping us find, secure, and communicate with vendors. We had a second thought on one vendor and decided to cancel, Rachael and Lisa were more than happy to have that difficult conversation for me. They provided honest advice whenever I asked for it and were so personable and responsive throughout the process.
It was obvious they were doing a lot of work for my wedding, but it became clear they were doing twice as much behind the scenes. The two weeks before my wedding, they rattled off a minute by minute wedding day timeline that had to have taken them months to create... I had NO CLUE that this timeline existed (and I'd be in BIG trouble if I was responsible for it)... My wedding day went seamlessly. If something went wrong, I still have no clue about it. When I woke up the morning after my wedding, all of my cards, gifts, decorations, wedding vail/shoes, etc were all neatly packed in a box right in our room... how they got there?! Rachael and Lisa. Oh and another perk, we used Lisa as our officiant and my goodness was our ceremony beautiful. It was so uniquely written for my husband and me, and had our guests laughing and crying at the same time. Ugh... I really will miss Rachael and Lisa!! I'd 100% recommend them to ANYONE in need of a wedding planner...
Lisa was wonderful to work with!!! I located her services through the Knot. She and her team help coordinate my wedding. We spoke often through emails, text messages, and phone calls and it was truly a delight to meet you in person. Lisa provided recommendations for me to think about and choose from. Her talent, expertise and her knowledge helped me sort through planning my wedding reception and thinking through how they the day should flow. We created and went through timelines checklists and always made modifications. I appreciated her independent thinking and creativity in my decorations and choices. She was my right hand in my wedding planning.
I so much appreciated her sincerity, kindness and her friendship. My wedding planning came at a time when my Father passed away and I so much appreciated her support during that time.

I worked with Lisa for my May 2021 wedding in Smithfield, PA and I cannot say more wonderful things about her! My husband and I live outside of our home town and have busy jobs, and she worked with us so well from afar. We didn't get to meet her in person until the wedding weekend, but she didn't make us feel that way! She is so detail oriented, organized, and very supportive. We had some issues with vendors, and Lisa was not afraid to stand up for us at all!!!! We really don't know what we would have done without her. Her assistant was also great during wedding day, as well as the serving staff we hired through her. Our families and guests enjoyed the team, and they really fit in well with our wedding!
My husband even had a tear in his suit pants, and they so so quickly got sewing supplies and sewed it all up, without me even knowing or having to stress about it!! And we have the funniest picture to prove how well they handled it.
I could not recommend this team more and I wish I knew more people getting married this year so I can send them Lisa's way. Lisa works so so so hard for her couples, and it truly does not go unnoticed! Thank you Lisa!!!
Rachael and Lisa took my vision and executed it flawlessly. They worked tirelessly the day before, morning of and evening of the wedding to make sure everything was absolutely perfect, and it was. They gave me the exact amount of help I was looking for— though offered to give more at every turn— and I could not imagine our day without them. The BEST money we spent on our wedding, hands down. Lisa and Rachel were absolutely essential in making our wedding better than I ever imagined. Lisa was able to step in relatively late (don't wait around like we did!) and help us with all the details and coordination that pile up over months of planning. They're worth it no matter how prepared you think you are, and will allow you to enjoy the day knowing that everything is in good hands.
Lisa was key in helping my wedding go so smoothly. She had everything planned down to the minute and still allowed for some wiggle room. A wedding during a pandemic definitely threw us and our planning for a loop but Rachael and Lisa kept up with the quick changes and helped us to stay on top of it! (We planned a wedding 3x)
Our end result was definitely not what was originally planned but could not have imagined it any other way. We opted for Day Of assistance, which I'm sure with other companies would be fairly hands off and limited contact until closer to the wedding. Rachael and Lisa provided us with great insight and help along the way, I've never taken part in wedding planning so it was all new to me.
Due to COVID, we had to change our wedding from a destination wedding to a local venue in about 2 months! Rachael and Lisa were the reason that we were able to pull the wedding off without being stressed to the max. They were such a huge help in keeping us organized and on track. Their task lists were to the point and cut out all of the things that we didn’t need. They helped us make sure that we were asking the right questions and helped us prioritize what was important and what wasn’t important. They even helped with the guilt of having to cut our guest list and helped prepare us for some of the tough conversations. Planning a wedding is hard work! Planning a wedding, canceling it and then planning another wedding in 2 months was crazy but we were so happy to have Rachael and Lisa to talk to and help us through it!!
Rachel and Lisa were the day of coordinator for our wedding day on August 8, 2020. As most of you know, planning a wedding is stressful, however planning a wedding during a pandemic is even more stressful. With that being said, we were unable to meet with Rachel and Lisa in person until the week of our wedding. They did a great job with communicating throughout the process and making sure they could help with anything possible and help guide us with any questions we had. As soon as we met in person I instantly felt that we were in good hands. Rachel and Lisa decorated the entire reception and ceremony and also made sure everything went smoothly during both. They adjusted to all of the last minute changes and added on hand sanitizer, mask, and glove stations(Thanks COVID). I completely trusted Rachel & Lisa with the decision of decor placement and everything was elegant and better than I could have imagined. They also cleaned up and organized everything after the night was over. We added on this service and it was the best decision so our families, bridal parties, and us (the bride & groom) were able to enjoy the rest of the night. Another bonus of using Rachel & Lisa was the decor rental they offer. It was another stress off of our shoulders to be able to use their decor and at a cheaper cost than buying your own. I cannot say enough good things about this mother/daughter duo! If you are looking for a day of coordinator, I would 100% recommend Elegant Event Solutions!
We originally hired Elegant Event Solutions to be Day of Coordinators on our March wedding date. However, due to under 50 guests. Due to this, Rachael and Lisa couldn't be on site with us that day, but they helped SO much from afar. They did so much more than simply day of coordinating. They assisted us with planning the whole day and made us consider things we otherwise never would've thought of. They helped create a full schedule for the day including hair and makeup. They confirmed with all our vendors in the week leading up and did so many 'above and beyond' things. We had a ceremony live stream and Rachael sent out the emails to guests and offered her own phone number for technical assistance. If you are considering a coordinator or even day of coordinator, please do it! You will not regret it!
Lisa & Rachael were wonderful to work with. As a bride trying to have it all together can be a lot, and even more so on the day of. These ladies really did an amazing job at making sure myself, my now husband, and our families who were involved with the planning were taken care of from months prior to the wedding all the way through the evening of. When we decided to have a destination wedding we knew we were going to need some extra help. Having Rachael work with us from beginning to end was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning process.
The number one reason I can recommend working with Rachael is because she has already thought of things that you need for your wedding and you haven’t even booked her yet. She knows everything and anything there is to know about planning a wedding and brings that lifetime of knowledge and expertise with her everywhere she goes. She answered my questions before I asked them and was ready for anything. She even brought a travel sized steamer with her to steam all of our dresses the morning of the wedding which was an absolute life saver!
Not only is Rachael an incredible professional, she is also extremely easy to work with and will fit right in with your bridal party and family. She worked seamlessly with our other vendors and helped to bring the whole day together flawlessly.
She helped with everything from wading through confusing vendor contracts to making sure the name cards were placed just right at the reception. She took so much off of my shoulders which allowed me to relax and enjoy this once in a lifetime moment. It’s one thing to hope that something is getting done and a completely different thing to know you can put your total trust in someone to get the job done exactly how you would do it yourself and that’s what you can expect from Rachael.
To summarize, if you are thinking about having a wedding planner for your wedding you NEED to talk to Rachael. After your first conversation with her you’ll know that you’ve found your person and that your wedding planning is off to the best start it could have.
Such a sweet mom and daughter duo to work with! I hired Rachel and Lisa only for ceremony coordination the day of my wedding at St. Paul’s Cathedral and I am SO glad I did. Although they run a tight ship at the Cathedral, it was nice to have an extra set of hands who were on my side. The pep-talk, keeping the ceremony on-time, and assistance putting on my veil was well-worth the added expense in the budget. The photographer also did not have the most updated copy of the photo list request and Lisa was able to add the additional combinations so quickly! My mother was just so emotional the whole day that I couldn’t rely on her for help, so Rachel and Lisa really helped to support me through the afternoon! Thank you again!
Rachael was super responsive throughout our wedding planning even though we only did day of coordination and even though she had a baby only a few days after we met! She had an answer and/or recommendation for every question we had and was so sweet and friendly throughout. We had a super DIY wedding which meant Rachael and her team had a lot of work to do on the day of including (but definitely not limited to) moving furniture, washing dishes, setting tables, coordinating the processional and doing any little thing we needed in a hurry. They arrived early and stayed late at the venue and all of our stuff was neatly packed up for us to grab the next day. Not a stone left unturned. They spoke to all of the people we were working with and communicated some much needed information we would not have known on our own. I could go on about how great working with Rachael was and I would recommend Elegant Event Solutions to any couple getting married in Pittsburgh.
Rachel and Lisa were amazing to work with! I rented chivari chairs from them for my wedding and the service and product was great. I even changed the chair color from silver to gold 2 months before the wedding and it was no problem. They took charge of communicating with the venue on when they could deliver and pick up the chairs and made everything so easy.
EES / Lisa & Rachel were amazing to work with. Very organized and very engaged. They really saved the day and helped relieve a lot of stress from the Bride and I in the days leading up to the wedding. We were out of state trying to plan in PA and were struggling with a couple vendors in the final weeks. We waited a little too long to get them involved, but they were amazing about getting all the information and reaching out to all of our vendors to get up to speed and help tie all the loose ends together. They even physically went down to vendor locations that weren't being too responsive. Everything came together perfectly, our wedding turned out amazing and they were definiely a huge reason why. Our only regret was we didnt reach out to them sooner! We would definitely recommend using them for your wedding planner needs!
Rachael and Lisa were absolutely amazing from start to finish! They were available while we were planning to answer any questions and attended our walk through at both venues. On the day of they were there first thing with a wedding kit that truly saved the day with any possible item we could need! They helped keep my mom stress free and she was able to enjoy the day. Our wedding went off without any issues and I cannot say it would of happened without these two! Highly recommend them for any wedding services you need!!
Hiring EES for our wedding was the best thing we could have done! Our reception was in a park pavilion and we honestly could never have done it without them. Rachael was our main point of contact and was very organized from the beginning. She met with us several times throughout the planning process and helped me to narrow down my “vision” when I was all over the place! They helped with referrals and suggestions for different wedding aspects and completely set up and tore down our whole venue. They also took over communication with our vendors a few weeks out, making sure we didn’t have to stress over any last minute details or have to deal with vendor communications on the week/day of. I admit that I am a control freak, and was nervous about handing over the reins to EES those last few weeks, but they did not disappoint! Everything and everyone was where they needed to be and they did everything possible to make our day absolutely perfect. I also think they are very reasonably priced for all that they do for you. Rachael and Lisa were the best thing that we have done for our wedding! We used them to do our centerpieces, rent some decor and best of all, day of coordination!! My goal was to make sure my family was able to enjoy their day. Rachael and Lisa made that dream happen!!! They picked up breakfast for us in the morning, set up our whole ceremony and my vision of our ceremony exceeded expectations!! My mom LOVED having them there. I seriously did not have to worry about a SINGLE thing. They even took our gifts from the card table up to our room and put in the safe for us!!! Seriously, the best money we spent for the wedding and I would recommend them! If I had to do my wedding again, they would be the first person I would book!!! 10 out of 5 stars!
Rachael and Lisa from Elegant Event Solutions are the absolute BEST! They were by my side through EVERY aspect of planning my wedding: from sending me helpful timelines on when to complete tasks, to recommending boutiques and websites for bridesmaid dresses, to providing me with spreadsheets to help organize my guest list and budget, even helping plan my bridal shower and bachelorette trip! But their help and guidance did not stop there. I had an idea for what I wanted my centerpieces to look like and Rachael literally made my vision a reality and handmade every single centerpiece! I also rented the gold chiavari chairs which completely transformed my venue and took it from great, to perfect. I never imagined I could have such an elegant wedding but I owe it 100% to Rachael and Lisa! Having them there on the day of my wedding as coordinators meant so much to me. They took care of everything down to the last little detail and ensured my day went as smoothly as possible. They are extremely detail-oriented, super professional, and it doesn't hurt that they are some of the sweetest and most kind women I have ever met. I CANNOT recommend Elegant Event Solutions enough!
Rachael and Lisa are wonderful to work with!! They helped me through various stages of planning and were always there when I needed them! They offer so many different services so you can customize what you truly need for your big day! I rented all of my center pieces off of them and they made my signs on acrylic glass! They were absolutely gorgeous I’ve gotten so many compliments!!!
Working with Rachel and Lisa was so great! They were super helpful in creating a backdrop for our head table that was stunning. They sent many sample pictures for me to build upon and really went above and beyond to capture the vision I was wanting. Not only that, they made sure I had everything I needed from the card box to the easel for the welcome sign. Communicating with them was super easy, and the day of they really brought their A game. Everyone was commenting on how beautiful the backdrop was, and I couldn't be happier that I chose to work with them!

Rachael and Lisa alleviated all of our stress leading up to the wedding and on our wedding day. They helped us with the rehearsal and made everything so perfect!
On our wedding day, everything went so well! It was a perfect day! They put all our decorations in the perfect spots, they worked with our photographers, caterers, and videographers perfectly. All of our guests kept complimenting our wedding coordinators and same with the other vendors! Our pastor came up to us asking if he could have their numbers to try and work with them again. Truly everyone loved Rachael and Lisa and they were the best wedding coordinators for us!!
Honestly, after everything, I wish I would have hired them sooner. They are such caring, loving, and truly wonderful women. Their attention to details, hilarious sense of humor and honest souls made the wedding process go so smoothly. I cried multiple times about silly little details and they never made me feel bad about it. They always uplifted me and made me feel like everything I did was important. I cannot say nicer things about these two women. All in all, hire Rachael and Lisa! Put your money into great people that will make the wedding process go smoothly. It was the best financial decision we made in the entire wedding process!
Rachael and Lisa offer wonderful resources that helped us with things we didn't think we needed. We rented some of their signs, some decorations, and paid extra for the bridesmaids help and mother help. IT WAS SO WORTH IT! They did more for us than I ever thought we would need. They offer amazing services and are wonderful people. Don't look any further because you have found your wedding coordinators!
So so so worth it!!! Hiring a wedding coordinator was the only point of contention with me and my now-husband during the planning process, and I am so thankful I eventually wore him down! Rachael was so incredibly helpful throughout the planning process and our actual wedding. She was flexible and let us put together a special package that really fit our needs. From the rehearsal through the ceremony to cleanup, she made our day so easy and effortless and went above and beyond. We cannot tell you how grateful we are for Rachael and Lisa!!
We rented a backdrop off of Elegant Event Solutions for our wedding ceremony in May of 2018. Rachael was such a pleasure to work with, and always responded to my questions in a timely manner! Without asking, she emailed me a day of prepping/packing list and other organizational items to help plan our big day! I would highly recommend Rachael and Lisa for any of your wedding needs.
Just amazing. I was a bridesmaid in a wedding Elegant Event Solutions handled, and I couldn't be more impressed. I was responsible several times throughout the day to text or call Rachael and Lisa every time the bride had a moment if panic the day of like, "shoot did I tell them to pick up xyz?" Or "where is this?" And while I was expecting the response to be, "We'll take care of it!" to everything asked, in reality they were one step ahead and already had it covered! When the bride was stressing about rain, EES texted me and said they checked the weather and already brought clear matching umbrellas for the bridal party. When the mother of the bride bouquet went missing, it was because it was already in the mother's hand because EES had brought it to her. When the rings weren't passed off to the best man after pictures, EES called me just to let me know where the rings were so that if, by some chance, the bride heard the rings were missing and started to worry I could immediately let her know that they had already been tracked down and the situation was under control. A good day of coordinator would have handled things as they came. But Rachael and Lisa anticipated every turn and had everything handled before the bride or any of us bridesmaids could even ask for help!!

Rachel and Lisa were the best thing we spent money on for our wedding!! From the very first meeting the were so friendly and warm and made us feel at ease. They took plenty of time to hear about what we had in place and to learn about what we wanted our wedding to be like. During my wedding I didn’t need to lift a finger and neither did any of my family members. They decorated, coordinated, and made sure everything was packed up at the end of the day. It is truly because of them that everything went so smoothly on the wedding day. I can not speak highly enough of Elegant Event Solutions!! Truly life savers and money well spent!
Rachael and Lisa are amazing! From our first meeting until the text I received the day after the wedding, Rachael and Lisa went above and beyond to help make our day perfect and stress free! They helped with every detail no matter how big or small from making sure the venue was set up to match our vision and coordinating with our vendors to bringing a day of emergency kit (just in case) and picking up lunch so the guys had something to eat! There isn't one thing we had to worry about because Rachael and Lise were there every step of the way! Our day wouldn't have been the same without them!
Rachael and Lisa were phenomenal! From beginning to end, everything was above and beyond. Telling a bride not to stress is nearly impossible - Rachael and Lisa took this off our hands. Other than walking down the aisle, but that's out of their control. ;-) I would highly recommend Elegant Event Solutions!
Rachel & Lisa at Elegant Events Solutions were amazing! They took the time to both meet with me months before the wedding, visited our venue weeks before, and arrived the day before to have everything set up perfectly. Everything was just as advertised, nicely ironed, and best of all their prices were cheaper than any others I had found. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
As the bride and groom, we didn’t get to meet Rachael and Lisa until the day after, when they came to the venue to gather up their chiavari chairs, which added the perfect touch to our wedding reception! But when we did get to meet them as we were cleaning up the mess we made the previous night and organizing all of our remaining items, Rachael and Lisa were an absolute delight to talk to! We all had a great time chatting and sharing our wedding experiences! Not only were they wonderful in person, but working with them up to the day of the wedding was very easy as well. They were very responsive to any questions we had sent their way and always replied in a timely manner. Rachael helped to create a mysterious, lush, and upscale ambience for my author event recently! It was as if she plucked the ideas from my head & my book and made them into a reality. Her tenacity, professionalism, and overall care for my event was hands down the best I have ever received from any planner.
