Our ceremony and reception were in two different locations and she did a great job keeping everyone on time and organized. Our wedding day went off without a hitch and everything was perfectly timed. I have said it many times but having Jenna as my wedding coordinator/planner was on the best decision we made, her services were worth the price and I would recommend her to any bride in the San Antonio area.

ut i didn't know the first thing about how to begin the process. She guided me through every step and suggested vendors who turned out to be perfect for what i was wanting. I was definitely a particular bride so i had a lot of little details that were very important to me. She went above and beyond to make sure everything came together exactly how i wanted it. Going into the wedding day i felt so confident in all that we had planned. She was the first one at the venue and was already on top of everything. She brought assistants who were also great. They were working so hard helping with whatever was needed the entire night. No matter what i needed someone was there to help. My wedding turned out to be better than i could have ever imagined. Maureen had multiple calls with us to get details sorted out, and was our go to gal with coordinating our vendors the last week before our wedding. Our wedding day came and we could not have had a better team behind the scenes making sure everything was perfect. From fixing tables, last minute seating chart changes, setting up signage and decor - Elegant Events made our dream day come true. Maureen streamlined everything, and while I was not with her the whole night, she was for us. Every little change or request was immediate and we were left to relax and truly enjoy our day. Jenna was by my side the whole night making sure I had everything - from holding my (heavy) bouquet, steaming my dress and holding my train, putting my veil on, grabbing lipstick and a multitude of other things (that I barely explained where they were) from the bridal suite - she also fixed my bustle in a pinch when somebody stepped on me and broke it. Jenna is the best friend you wish you had(: It was an honor to have her with us and she was such a joy to be around. Mackenna pulled every single leaf out of my train before we entered for our reception, grabbed my reception shoes to put underneath our head table so I wouldn't have to leave the reception to change shoes, and made for a seamless transition from ceremony to reception decor. She was so kind when asking questions as to how we wanted specific items placed and it was so great having her there with us! I know we kept her busy (: Elegant Events made sure our day was perfect. We received numerous compliments on how beautiful our day was, that is was the best wedding ever...etc. We have Maureen, Jenna, and Mackenna to thank for it. We will never be able to thank them enough for treating us, our family, or friends with such care and going all out for us. We have talked non stop about how they made our day. 11.21.2021 was the best day of our lives.

Maureen may be the most detail oriented person I have ever met - which is exactly what you want in a planner / coordinator. Multiple times she spent hours on the phone with me walking through details that I would have never considered (ex: having pens & something to hold them for the guest book, how the napkins would be folded, where my veil would be stored after the ceremony, where the vendors would eat dinner etc.). I am so glad we were not left to ourselves to deal with all of the details. Maureen attended meetings with the venue in person when my daughter and I were only available via zoom! I am definitely an indecisive person, but Jenna was incredibly patient and saw the vision I was going for with all our wedding details, going above and beyond to help us bring it to fruition while staying within our budget. I highly believe she knew where money was best spent and because of her knowledge and experience, saved us so much time that we did not have to spend researching things ourselves. Me being out of town also did not slow down the planning process in the least bit! Jenna and I kept in constant contact after our initial visit and she was very accommodating and quick to answer all of my questions via electronic communication, while of course arranging to meet in person as much as possible was never an issue. During our planning process my fiancé, now husband, had an unexpected medical emergency that caused us to have to reschedule our wedding date. Jenna took over right away to handle everything for us with vendors so we could focus on my husband’s healing. When we were finally able to reschedule our wedding, we did so with ease as Jenna had handled everything so well that we were essentially able to pick up right where we left off with planning. This process also showed us how much respect all of the vendors we worked with had for the Elegant Events team how much they enjoyed working with Jenna! And on our wedding day we were able to relax, enjoy the day and have FUN without fretting about any of the details. It was such a joy to have Jenna check in with us and reassure us that everything was in control and running smoothly. We had several phone calls throughout the wedding planning and Maureen really helped us go through things we never would have thought to consider! One young lady even made boutonnieres from some extra flowers for two men we forgot to get flowers for. The ladies also packed tubs with all our wedding 'stuff' following the wedding and helped us get them to our car. Maureen was such a professional during the planning and execution of my daughter's wedding - we had some bumps along the road with our venue - but she was with us and supporting us all the way through. That event was so spectacular, that when I found out I would be responsible for the wedding and reception for my son's wedding I immediately booked Maureen! Our wedding was going to be a complicated large wedding with the wedding party and guests from literally all over the globe. The bride also was living abroad which made it especially challenging to plan. So Maureen and the bride had dozens of Skype calls and guided us with such expertise and patience throught! In those couple of months, the wisdom and expertise she offered me via phone and email was more valuable than any of the other wedding planners or planning services I consulted with when I was shopping around for a planner. Let's also talk about how she called me within minutes of me first reaching out to her on her website for information on her services. In that first call, she spoke to me for over an hour (free of charge) about my wedding vision and offering her knowledge and referral contacts for just about every vendor I needed. She had names of who to call, what they charge, and just dropping her name led to discounts with several of these amazing vendors. I truly believe you get what you pay for, and Maureen's expertise could easily let her charge 5x more than what she does. When you talk to other wedding planners during those first couple of consultation calls, everyone is definitely nice and helpful, but Maureen is all of that plus so much more. I promise once you talk to her, you'll know that this is the person who will make your wedding dream happen, get you the most competitive prices from vendors (because they all know her), and make your big day better than you imagined. n for full wedding planning as I was planning my wedding in San Antonio from out of state. Maureen is SO responsive and flexible with times for phone calls, which was so appreciated since my fiance and I both work full time jobs with long hours. I am not naturally the most detail oriented or creative person, and Maureen helped make the day unique to me and my fiance by bringing up new ideas and finding photos that sparked things we could incorporate into our day. Now I have memories and things that are special to us that I'll cherish forever. Throughout the planning time, Maureen had great recommendations about vendors and handled almost all communication with them based on the timeline we created together. Maureen asked questions I would never have thought of and was always happy to look over contracts, re-review website information, and answer any little questions I had. I cannot even imagine all that happened behind the scenes that she handled for us! Day of, not surprisingly, Maureen and Jenna were angels. We had to move the cocktail hour inside because of weather and Maureen handled it without a sweat. They also brought umbrellas so that we could still take pictures outside despite the mist. for my mom and I. Jenna is very detail oriented and did such a great job making the design we wanted a reality. She has such a great personality and we really enjoyed getting to work with her. The day of the wedding was stress free and neither my mom nor I had to worry about anything. Jenna and her staff were outstanding that whole day. Every time I needed something, they wouldn’t even hesitate to get it for me. My nephew had lost his bow-tie and they went out and bought him another one that morning. During the reception, Jenna and her staff not only made sure that my husband and I had everything we needed, but they also made sure my parents were good too. When my husband and I got back to our hotel room, all of our bags were there waiting for us and there were two plates of food and cake in the refrigerator. We hadn’t eaten much of our dinner due to nerves, so this was such a nice surprise! I cannot recommend Jenna and Elegant Events enough! The customer service that we received the day of the wedding and throughout the whole planning process was outstanding. We enjoyed this wedding planning process so much! We felt so special the day of the wedding and we have so many good memories from that night! We cannot thank Jenna enough for all that she did for us!
