My name is Patrina Puller, I'm the owner of Elegant Events By P. My passion for events started in 2008 while working in the Protocol office at the Department of State. I assisted with several ceremonial events. After hosting several personal events over the years, my family and friends convinced me to start my business.

I first met Ms Patrina when I was planning my wedding about a year ago. We wanted an intimate reception but didn’t have a precise picture of what it would look like. Ms Patrina knew all the right questions to ask and was very detail oriented. She was very attentive, and prioritized helping us clarify what it is we envisioned and made a lot of helpful recommendations along the way. I remember my husband and I’s jaws dropping when we walked into the venue for the first time. she made the whole process effortless from beginning to end.. since then we’ve used her services for other occasions and can’t see ourselves using any other event planner. she is super is Super patient, responsive and goes above and beyond for her clients.

Patrina was the first planner I reached out to. She responded very fast and was so helpful. She explained many aspects of the wedding planning process during our first call. I knew after that phone call that I was selecting her as my planner. She’s so attentive and was with me and my now husband every step of the way. She made the days coming up to the wedding very stress free. When you become her client, she takes very good care of you. She ensures that your wedding will be exactly what you envisioned. Patrina was truly heaven sent. From our very first meeting I admired her attention to detail and ability to foresee the ways to make sure our day went as perfect and smoothly as possible. On the day of our wedding, she went ABOVE & BEYOND to make sure we had everything we needed, and our day was special. There is no way we would have made it through without her team. They were punctual, professional, beautiful inside and out and just made our day something we truly remembered. Thank you to them! As soon as you get engaged, I would call Patrina first, she will take care of you!

Love love love her and her assistant! Patrina is great, she’s responsive and friendly and was on top of the ball! We hired her for day of coordination and she was coordinating with all my other vendors well before the wedding. She handled all the minor snafus that happened that day as well and kept me updated on everything. She also helped with setting up all my little decorations such as putting out place cards and setting up my various tables that I didn’t have my decorator do (like setting up cocktail tables, the cake table and card table and later on the dessert table). She helped so much with rehearsal as I wasn’t always sure what to do. She and her assistant were wonderful and I can’t recommend them enough!

My husband and I chose to use Patrina at Elegant Events by P as our wedding planner, and it was one of the best decisions we made! We were immediately drawn to Patrina due to her upfront pricing and description of services for the different packages she provides. Patrina got back to us quickly and took the time to get to know us and understand the vision we had for our wedding. After talking to her, we immediately decided to go with her 6 month package. Patrina made wedding planning so much easier for us! She very quickly conducted a site visit so she could get a sense not only of what we wanted, but what was possible. From the very beginning, she was thinking of logistics and this made things so much easier as we were making final decisions. In addition, Patrina was able to provide so many recommendations for vendors! We were able to quickly secure several vendors that were AMAZING, and we would have never known about them without her! After we secured the vendors and made our decisions regarding their services, Patrina essentially took over communication and planning with them. Not only did this make our lives so much easier, but Patrina caught some things that would have been issues early on in the process. In addition, we also chose to have Patrina and Elegant Events by P design and decorate our wedding. Not only did this take SO much pressure off of us, but we LOVED the designs we were given, and this gave my husband and myself peace of mind regarding decorating (something neither of us is very good at) very early on in the planning process. Finally, Patrina was invaluable in the days leading up to the wedding and on the day itself. Not only did she communicate with my husband and me, but she also began planning with my in-laws who own the property where we got married. She answered all their questions and helped them plan last-minute details. This made all of us feel better and more prepared as we went into the wedding. Then, on the day of, Patrina had everything in hand. She got the spaces decorated beautifully, made sure everyone stayed on track, and made sure everything ran smoothly. She worked closely with the on-site vendors and, in all honesty, our wedding was completely seamless! My husband and I did not have to worry about a thing because of Patrina, we simply got to enjoy the day and be present in the moment! We could not recommend Patrina and Elegant Events by P more highly!

A Calm, Capable, and Down-to-Earth Wedding Pro!
From the moment I signed the contract, Patrina was nothing short of amazing. She was available whenever I needed her, always quick to respond, and truly made me feel supported every step of the way. She’s incredibly organized and personable—someone you instantly feel comfortable around.
What really stood out was how she asked questions I hadn’t even thought of, which saved us from potential last-minute stress. She stayed on top of our vendors, communicated clearly, and kept everything running smoothly, even when we were hit with off-and-on thunderstorms on the big day.
Despite the weather, Patrina kept things calm, collected, and right on track. She’s a total team player and made sure everything felt seamless. If you’re looking for someone who is professional, down to earth, and genuinely invested in making your wedding day everything you hoped for, Patrina is the one.

Where do I even start? Like many of you, I was on a mission to put together the dream team for my wedding. But I'm sure you can relate to the feeling of dread that would creep in every time I sensed a sales pitch looming. What I really craved was a genuine team, not just a service provider, to make my big day a reality. And in this adventure, Patrina emerged as the star player.
Patrina didn't just meet my expectations; she exceeded them in every way possible. She went the extra mile in every aspect of wedding planning. Whether it was helping me choose the perfect decorations or giving me honest recommendations for vendors who aligned with my vision, Patrina was a true pro.
What really made Patrina stand out to me was her infectious positivity. In the midst of the wedding planning chaos, her unwavering optimism was like a breath of fresh air. When I started to feel the stress creeping in, she was there as a voice of reason, always bringing me back to the bigger picture. Patrina is absolutely amazing!!! I hired her as a day of coordinator and she delivered way beyond that. From the day I took her on she entrenched herself into my plans. She was a big part of making my dreams come true! If it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t know what to do. She was attentive, she was punctual, she was knowledgeable, she was amazing!!! I cannot say enough about how instrumental she was to making my day the best day of my life!

Absolutely incredible. I did day-of coordinating service from Patrina for my wedding. From the moment I booked her, she was highly responsive and accommodating. When I tell you, this woman and her assistant went out of their ways for my big day, I am not joking. Every question I asked about my vendors, she would communicate with them and relay the information back to me in a timely manner. She was thorough with everything and I felt much more at ease with wedding planning after working with her.
Now, on to the day itself. Mind was blown. First off, she gave me a cute little bridal box with some emergency bridal needs along with some other items. Nearly cried. I was very frantic coming into the venue trying to direct and set things up. Patrina and her assistant immediately jumped In and took care of my needs. They read my mind about the little things. Everything was executed perfectly. They seriously took a huge stress load off of my shoulders. Once cocktail hour was finished, they immediately helped pack unneeded items out of the way. One less thing I had to worry about at the end of the night. Any issues or questions I had, they were communicated to the vendors. Very informative of what was happening when, especially since I had absolutely zero sense of time. They had printed out the order of events and they were followed accordingly.
At the end of the night, they helped load my items into my car and I could not have been more grateful. Both of them were so thoughtful about my needs and stresses.
Oh and nearly forgot, Patrina had devised a floor plan of all of the decor, tables, seating, everything. Helped visualize the day and made changes as needed. That helped sooo much. Efficient, professional and incredibly affordable.
God forbid I have another wedding but if I do, you better believe I’m hiring Patrina.

I highly recommend Elegant Events by P. Patrina wowed us from the very first contact with her. Her professionalism remained constant although I was calling her and constantly changing details of our event. The amount of detail she put into our day was far more than I expected but so perfect! If you are looking for someone who is very detailed, will communicate and keep you included in all decisions, punctual and will put a smile on your face the moment you meet her, this is the company for you!

What a blessing to have Patrina-Elegant Events By P help us plan our special day!
My (now) husband initially worked with Patrina to plan our surprise engagement dinner at the Chart House in Virginia. Everything was executed perfectly. She brought my husbands vision to life.
With that being said, I knew exactly who to go to when my husband and I began planning our Retie the Knot ceremony to be held in Ocho Rios, Jamaica this October 2022.
Planning a wedding is not easy and can be very stressful. With that you need someone who is professional, organized, reliable, a creative flair, patient, trustworthy, down to earth and personable. Patrina is all of that and more. Thus far, working with Patrina has been nothing short of amazing. She has taken the load off of my back with her ideas, meetings, expertise, and to top it off saving us a ton of money as destination weddings can be costly!
