Elegant Temptations Cakes

My husband and I had our wedding in South Miami at Cocoplum Woman's Club. One of the affiliated cake vendors was ET cakes. We ordered a vanilla rum cake and had customized detailing of one of the tiers. This cake was INCREDIBLE! It was truly the hit of the night - every one of our guests could not believe how delicious this cake was!!! I am sooo happy we chose ET cakes (mostly by luck, we didnt even do a cake testing as we were planning our wedding from Cleveland OH).

We loved our wedding cake! ET Cakes was very professional and during these times, took every safety precaution. For the tasting, we got a to go box with all the different samples inside. We decided on rum vanilla because we wanted something simple that everyone would enjoy but also something a little special. And let me tell you it did not disappoint. I did not eat much over the day of my wedding due to excitement but I made sure to shovel down my piece of cake! After the wedding, my family has fighting over the leftovers all weekend long.

ET Cakes is awesome. They were partnered with our venue, along with some other bakeries. But after tasting all of them, ET was the best. The guests loved the one with the dulce de leche inside. It was so delicious. I can't wait to have my 1 year anniversary cake!!

We loved working with Isabel from the very beginning. They were honest about their capacity at that time of year, but the cake they produced was amazing! The tasting was fun, and Isabel was so sweet. A few months before the wedding, I asked my groom to take over the cake design after I had been talking with them for a while because I was swamped with a lot of planning, and they worked together seamlessly. Everyone at the wedding loved the cake, and I thought the design was beautiful!

Isabel was so kind, patient and attentive. Planning a wedding from out of state was pretty daunting, but Isabel's attention to detail helped ease any concerns we could have had. We reserved a single day to meet with vendors all over Miami and she was our last appointment (for the cake tasting). Another appointment fell behind and then typical Miami traffic settled in. When we realized that we were going to be late to our appointment, I called Isabel and she was very understanding. She offered to box up our samples and write up a description of each slice for us to pick up and take with us on the road instead. Upon arriving, she was so sweet and able to give us a brief explainer on the process and flavors that they have before her next appt arrived. When it came to the overall look/feel, she nailed it! Planning a wedding can be stressful - but Isabel's approach made it fun and exciting. Thank you!

Had my cake done for this first time for my granddaughters birthday bash of a theme of pancake cake and it was incredibly beautiful and just what I expected. The cake even after hours tasted amazing. Isabel was so professional and so accommodating and the artist that made my cake what talent he/she have because this cake will be in our professional photography pics for us to cherish.

Cake was beautiful inside and out!! Truly delicious and had guests craving more! Can’t wait to cut into our topper!!! Definitely recommend!

This place is so good they go by appointment only. Our cake was included with our venue package, yet they treated us very well. They accommodated our tasting to our work schedules and were very patient with us. Rosie helped us choose the perfect cake for our wedding, catering to our style and giving us ideas for color and decor of our cake. They gave us over 10 different cake samples for us to choose from and loved every single one of them (needless to say, it was really hard to choose). We can't wait to eat the top tier for our 1 year anniversary!! Thank you ET cakes!

Not only was the entire team at Elegant Temptations a joy to work with (the tasting was so much fun!), they were able to create the exact cake I had in mind. I showed them one picture and they brought it to life. But most importantly, it tasted amazing! They even created a custom cake flavor for us. Everyone was raving about our cake at the wedding, and I couldn't have been happier. Highly recommend this vendor!

After doing two other cake tasting prior Elegant Temptations, I was convinced that this was the way to go. Their service seemed promising and their level of organization completely impressed me. The cake flavor we chose was the traditional rum cake which was super moist but the design we had discussed was not what we got for our wedding. Don't get me wrong, these people are amazing but unfortunately they were not able to deliver a "semi naked" cake to my wedding. I had shown them a picture of what I wanted and why I did not want a naked cake because it looked too rustic and it wouldn't match with our them and yet, upon their approval pf the design, we still got a naked caked. Worst part is that when the cake was delivered, my planner asked if that was the semi naked cake I had ordered and thay said "this is a semi naked". It wasn't and I was very disappointed. Cake tasted delicious but for all of you future brides, make sure you are super extra clear about the design you want.

Yummy, Yummy, Yummy! ET Cakes provided the cake for my wedding and it was absolutely delicious. From the start when my now husband and I had our first tasting I knew we were in for a treat. Rosie's cake for my wedding was moist and not super sweet...the butter cream was to die for! The next day after my wedding my guest were calling me asking if there was anymore cake left over. Rosie is a very creative baker and worked well with my cater (who recommended ET Cakes). Everything about my wedding day was perfect and Rosie's cake was the icing on the top!!

Hands down the best in the business for cakes for any occasion! We used ET for our wedding cake this past weekend and it was stunning!!!! Everything I ever wanted for our wedding cake! I loved how professional they were and answered my emails in a timely manner. Our meeting went amazing for our cake design! Really enjoyed our experience with them! Just sucks now I have to wait a year to eat the top of our wedding cake. I might have to order another one from them because it is soooo tempting!

ET Cakes made the cake for my wedding and let me just tell you, that cake was DELICIOUS! I met almost a year ago with ET to design my cake and choose the flavors. The cake came out more beautiful than what I pictured in my head and the cake itself was the perfect cake. When it came time to cut the cake, that cake smelled so amazing I made sure to remember to have a piece (all of my friends kept telling me they didn't have time to have cake at their own weddings lol). We chose two flavors for our cake and I'm kind of sad that we have to wait for our first anniversary to cut into the top tier....might have to break that rule. I'll have to google if it's bad luck to do that first. HAHA!

We searched high and low for a baker to customize a themed cake for our starry night wedding. Elegant Temptations came highly recommended by our wedding planner and they did not disappoint. The cake was beautiful and was exactly as sketched. The colors were perfect and it was delicious. We didn’t even bother to freeze the top tier. We attacked it once we returned from our honeymoon a week and a half later! :-P

EXCELLENT! We used elegant temptations as they were included with our cake package at the palms hotel Miami and WOW are we happy that we did! We went to the cake tasting and we were impressed. Rosie took time to sit with us and find out what we wanted and accommodated us. She was professional and friendly. Later on, I went back and ordered a fully customized grooms cake as a surprise for my groom. SHE DID AN AMAZING JOB!!!!! It exceeded my expectations and my groom loved it. I am currently eating it and it is delicious! Wedding cakes are either pretty and taste bad or taste good but are not very pretty...if you want an exceptional cake that looks beautiful and tastes great then definitely order from ET!

The staff at ETcakes treat us like loyalty since the first day of consultation. We tried the different flavors of cakes. We decided to have a custome dessert station and Elizabeth saw our vision of cake pops instead of a big cake we wanted small traditional cake in our dessert table. Words cannot tell you have absolutely stunning the cake was! It was breathtakingly beautiful and absolutely perfect in the room with the others desserts. It looked better than we could have ever imagined. I wanted to thank you so very much for helping to make our special day so perfectly sweet! Everyone was just amazed with how perfect everything looked and of course it was all equally delicious.! the dessert the day of the wedding. Am so happy that you make the dessert tasting before the wedding. Axel & Me we were really excited that we have left overs we bring delicious cake home & some of the desserts. We highly recommend Elegant Temptations! They are professional and responsive to all questions. Even though the cake was part of our venue package, Elegant Temptations made sure we got the cake we wanted and it was absolutely perfect and delicious!

My husband and I were too busy dancing when the cake was served so we saved the top layer! It wasn't until several days later that we had a chance to sit down and eat it. The cake was still moist and to die for!

Kevin and I are so grateful to have found Elegant Temptations. When we first walked into ET Cakes we knew from the atmosphere that they were the right choice. I had never seen anything like it! You could tell from the décor alone that they were creative and had a special talent. Let’s start with Rosie. She was extremely professional and provided EXCELLENT customer service. We loved that Rosie was so straight forward and real with us. Any wants or needs that we had were met. As a bride, you tend to change your mind A LOT. Rosie was happy to accommodate any changes that I made and even called me personally to make sure that the design was correct. She has a wonderful team, especially Isabel. She’s like her right hand gal. They are a perfect team! ET Cakes provided us with a lasting memory because the cake was everything that we could have asked for and was the focal point of our room. Now let’s not forget that we received so many compliments from our family and friends. Everyone said that it was the best wedding cake that they have ever had. We can only say “thank you” to ET Cakes and we cannot wait to use them for our future events.

We used Elegant Temptations for not only our dessert bar for our wedding night, but they did a smores bar for our rehearsal dinner. Both were a HUGE HIT. The smores were unbelievable, offering not only your standard hershey bar, but crunch bar and even reeses peanut butter cups (our personal favorite!). The station was swarmed as soon as it opened and we could not have been more satisfied. As for the dessert table, it was in a word STUNNING. The colors were vibrant and the flavors were delicious. The entire experience of working with ET was a pleasant one and we would absolutely use them again in a heartbeat!

I narrowed my wedding cake bakery search down to 3 popular cake designers in the Miami area. I chose Elegant Temptations because their pricing was more competitive than the others and because of their beautiful photos on the website. They were very responsive via email and although my fiancé and I were embarrassingly late to our tasting (traffic!), Rosie was very sweet and stayed late to take her time with us. I'm really not a cake person but wow! every flavor was just amazingly delicious, it was so hard to decide. Rosie has elegant and modern taste which is surprisingly hard to find in Miami. I was very direct about what I wanted, and explained how I wanted each layer. She drew a quick sketch and I knew I could trust her with the design. The cake was even more perfect than I had envisioned, it was amazing! Best of all, it was sooo delicious. My sister forgot to freeze the top tier (she kept it in the fridge) which we didn't find out until 3 weeks later, so we rolled the dice and ate it rather than tossing it and it still tasted fresh and delicious. One of the layers was bulging out a bit, but I think its because my wedding planner's assistants had to move it because it wasn't in the correct spot, so just keep that in mind during set up. I can't recommend them enough!! You won't be disappointed.

Elegant Temptations did my wedding cake. We went with the marble cake and chocolate godiva filling with buttercream frosting and it was a huge hit! All my guests came up to afterwards to say how yummy it was...one of my friends had three pieces! All my communication was with Isabel...she was very easy to work with and coordinated everything with my venue. She even helped me pick out the cake combination since I was unable to do a tasting. My only complaint is that I selected a cake off of their buttercream packages and I had asked Isabel if the decorations on the cake would be supplied by them...my wedding was on the beach and the cake that I picked out had a starfish on it and some sea reeds. Isabel said that the cake would look as pictured with the starfish and the reeds but it came without it. I have to admit I was a bit bummed but obviously no one noticed that detail except for me. I would definitely use them again though...taste trumps starfish!

The cake was both beautiful and delicious! We received so many compliments on both the look and taste. And she has so many amazing flavors to choose from!!

My wedding cake was so beautiful and tasted amazingly delicious! Rosie and her team were very knowledgeable about the whole process and helped us narrow our selection keeping us focused on selecting the flavors and design that were perfect for us! We highly recommend Elegant Temptations for custom-made cakes. We went to several cake vendors before meeting Rosie and Isabel at ET Cakes. Many of the cake vendors were very disappointing and impersonal, especially those vendors who just handed us a catalogue and told us to pick a cake. Unlike these cake vendors, ET Cakes made us feel special. ET Cakes is very attentive and responsive to all questions. At the consultation, Rosie takes her time with you and asks you questions on what you want for the cake. The selection for flavors is overwhelming. It was amazing to see our ideas manifest on the wedding cake. We wanted the cake stand to match the iron work surrounding the cake, and Rosie found a vendor who provided that perfect iron stand. Rosie and her team are extremely talented in their designing and using softer-than-usual fondant that tastes amazing. ET Cakes also did our cupcake wedding favors, which had intricate designs and sugar rose buds that went beyond our expectations. Admittedly, ET Cakes is expensive, but it was thrilling to hear all our guests comment on how gorgeous and delicious the cake and cupcakes were. For custom-made cakes that make a statement, Elegant Temptations is the way to go.

Working with Isabel Trujillo and the team at Elegant Temptations was such a blessing. They were very professional, and easy to work with. I had a four tier cake for my wedding and it could not have looked anymore beautiful. The team listened to exactly what I had wanted for the cake design, flavor and filling. We did not get what we asked for. They delivered the wrong cake and it was too late to get the right one.

I can't tell you how many compliments we received on our cake. Even our venue staff commented that it was prettiest cake that they had ever seen! I selected the coconut cake and it was a hit with our guests! I kept the leftovers in my fridge for 2 weeks until they were stale and I had to throw them away. Keep in mind I used to decorate cakes for Publix and was extremely picky in determining who would decorate my cake. Elegant Temptations did not disappoint!! Isabel is the best!!!

i called and made an appointment and asked if I could request cake flavors-she said yes. I got a confirmation call 2 days before and she said I can' t accomadate your request because the pastry chef is out and they baked all the cakes at the beginning of the week.???! So I asked her if the cake testing was frozen and defrosted and She said yes. I was soo shocked?? I explained to her if I had known I would've called in the beginning of the week with my requests. She had no answer to that. Then I promptly hung up and called another bakery.

Elegant temptations was one of my vendors that manage to blow me away the day of my wedding. my cake was absolute perfection. They did a great job with the decor, and the flavor. Received many many compliments from my guest, and I am still eating the cake till today (wedding was early August)

Rosie and her staff were so helpful with the design of my cake. I gave her my ideas and she told me what she could do and what she though would look better. When I saw my wedding cake for the first time, I cried. It was so beautiful. Just as I had pictured.

I was so pleased with my wedding cake - it was sophisticated and beautiful. Working with Rosie and her staff was such a joy - really just wonderful people. I am not a huge fan of cake but Elegant temptations makes some seriously delicious stuff - I couldn't believe it. They have so many different flavors and each one is better than the last..that was the problem I wanted them all. I am recommending Elegant Temptations to everyone - for any occasion..they are amazing.

Cake was delicious and just what I wanted!

This vendor was a vendor I had no control of because the hotel works with them. So, with that being said, I was extremely pleased with the taste, presentation and everything! We had a small beach wedding, so I wanted to make sure the cake and everything was perfect. Since I am from IL, I was not able to taste the cake:( But, on my wedding day when I went to eat the cake, my husband and I were both pleased with it! Thank you!!!

From the moment you walk into their shop, you're impressed with how nicely its decorated down right to the service they provide. Their presenation of the samples is really nice and their options almost seem limitless. I wanted a simple but sophisticated cake and they totally pulled it off.

There's nothing to complain about! The came came out beautiful exactly like I had envisioned it and it taste delicious as well!

Our wedding venue included a cake from Elegant Temptations. My mom and I went for the tasting - everything was delicious! The included cake is pretty basic, so for a small upgrade, we added some decorations to my cake. It looked so beautiful and tasted wonderful!

At first I was relieved and excited to find Rosie and Isabel from ET. They were super helpful at first. Later on I found they had given me wrong information as to which options I could choose for my package cake and pricing (ie, an extra sugar flower went from $15 to $50 when I actually wanted it). They also charged me $50 to order one of the package designs exactly the same but slightly smaller on two tiers. Fine. I did it anyway. Much to my shock and dismay when we went to cut the cake during our reception, it was NOT what we had ordered! We ordered: light ivory cake with aqua swirls (larger on two tiers and smaller on the other two). There were specifically not supposed to be crystals in the design (like in the exapmle pic) - only sugar pearls spread around the bottom of each tier. We also paid to upgrade half the cake to the lemon flavor. The other half was to be marble with chocolate filling. What we got: a boring/mediocre white cake with white (NOT aqua) swirls all the same size (NOT differentiated as we had agreed), crystals (which people complained about almost breaking their teeth), and lots of plain vanilla cake with vanilla filling (not EVER part of the plan). Of course, when I contacted ET the week afterward, they tried to blame the design mix-up on me and didn't believe me about the flavor being wrong. They want us to cut into our top tier (which I was planning to save), which would prove anything about the cake which was actually served. Finally, they're going to give us a refund on the color/design screw-up, but not on the flavor. Hopefully we come across a clear pic of our guests eating the absolutely wrong flavor. The cake actually tasted ok, but the entire experience was VERY disappointing. I would not trust this company; if you do decide to go with them, watch your back, get EVERY SINGLE detail in writing, triple-check the day of the wedding to make sure. If all else fails, make sure you take pictures for proof. Unfortunately, I will not enjoy the pictures/memories of our wedding cake.

Rosie was incredible to deal with and did an AMAZING job on our wedding cake. Everyone complimented on how simple but elegant the cake looked which was the theme of my wedding. Not only did it look BEAUTIFUL, but it tasted AMAZING. The cake was just as good as when I went for the taste testing. Very sweet and polite staff.

I ordered my cake through Elegant Temptations and Rosy did such an incredible job understanding my vision and replicating it perfectly!! The cake not only was beautiful but tasted incredible as well. My guests couldn't stop talking about how delicious it was. Thank you Rosy for everything!!

Rosie at Elegant Temptations did such a lovely job on my wedding cake. Several of my guests actually asked if the cake was real - they soon found out that not only was it real but it was delicious!! My husband requested only two things when it came to the cake - that it had strawberry in it and that it was not dry. Rosie came through on both of those for us. After the wedding we had cake left, but it didn't last long! I can't wait for our one year anniversary so we can enjoy it again!

Our cake was beautiful, however when we saw it at the reception we noticed the sugar flower was not on the cake that we paid for. We were really dissapointed but life goes on.
