We are so glad we chose to work with Elements by K.H. and Co. for planning our special day. Kimiko and her team not only provided us much needed help with the high-end design and preparation, but they also blew away our expectations in the coordination and execution of the event. We had a lot of ideas going into the planning process. When others were all saying no to us, Kimiko and her team's experience and connections within the industry helped further our ideas to bring them to life, while providing the additional ideas, inspiration, and forethought that was critical to make our wedding weekend nothing short of exceptional. We also had a complex wedding weekend with different locations for the ceremony and reception- technically four different locations if we include the rehearsal dinner and the afterparty. We needed help with not only continuity in the details of the design, but also help with the seamlessness in coordination on the day-of. While every couple has a good chance of having some unexpected problems arise, involving anything from weather to guests to vendors, Kimiko and her experienced team at K.H. and Co. ensured that the weekend went forward without any issues. We never even knew about any of ours until well after our wedding weekend, only because the team at K.H. and Co. took ownership of each of the problems and fixed each of them behind the scenes while we were busy. Their experience was so crucial to making everything go smoothly. Again, so relieved that we found this gem of a team to provide the first-class service that we really needed both leading up to, and throughout our important weekend! Best decision we made! We collaborated with Kimiko and her team for our wedding on Maui in 2018 and the entire experience - leading up to and day of - was extraordinary and unforgettable. She completely understood our vision from Day 1 and not only executed it flawlessly but continued to challenge us and bring new ideas to the table that we never imagined, which resulted in a multi-day wedding that blew our expectations out of the water (and my husband and I are VERY particular people....). She also works with some of the best quality vendors and partners in the industry and matches you perfectly based on your personal profile and tastes, including photography, videography, florals, cocktails, food, music and so much more. I manage massive events for a living so know exactly how much detail, planning, precision, and organization are required to create something like this, and there was no "t" left uncrossed. I could just sit back and be the "client" with confidence bc no detail ever fell through the cracks. Kimiko's creativity, taste, poise, attention to detail, professionalism, and personality were exceptional. We became close friends w her through the process and can't wait to work with her for our anniversary party in a couple of years! Could not recommend Kimiko and her team more.

We couldn’t ask for anything more, guests described it a fairytale. Haiku Mill was the star, but KH&co planning was outstanding. We have rated 5/5, but want to address concerns for those reading some of the lesser reviews. The process got off to a rocky start, the responses were slow and planning wasn’t taking shape fast. Same as some other reviews, but in no way makes them worthy of 1/5. We voiced our concerns, and they reacted quickly and professionally with help of additional planners. By wedding day there were no concerns. Planning delays were the only shortfall and they do not represent the overall quality of the experience. Do not book at a full day if you aren’t ready to pay for quality, just ceremony & cocktails would be an alternative to save $. Per person the venue/planning might seem expensive, I would argue they offer tremendous value. They could be charging a lot more for the site fee and labor. We had 32 guests and I believe there was almost as much staff involved on the day including 3-4 of the KH&co planners. At rehearsal we could tell there was not going to be an issue. This place is extremely organized down to hidden reserved and marked parking spots for each vendor and a timeline of the day kept to the minute and constantly revised. I have never seen a wedding run on schedule like ours. Everything happened as expected or better, when expected. The vendors, some on the pricier side, but that is standard for all weddings, are all top quality, don’t let any other reviews lead you astray. Its obvious KH&co very much understand they are a brand and they would not stake their reputation on vendors that aren’t top quality. We recommend this venue & planner combination to everyone, the poor reviews are unfounded. They must be posted by those who did not stay on top of the planning or did not have the right expectations when it came to budget. If you are looking for the best possible wedding, they will deliver it at Haiku Mill.

I can't even begin to describe how amazing this team is! Lindsay was our planner/coordinator/event designer and there is not one single thing I would change from our wedding day. As I got to know Lindsay over the planning process, I quickly began to trust her guidance and suggestions. Choosing to trust her with the suggested vendors and design was the best decision I could have made! The event was flawless and surpassed any vision I had. All the guests were blown away too :) This team was amazing to work with and I highly recommend them! Their services, knowledge, and expertise are truly priceless and worth more than any cost!
