Mary officiated our wedding, and she brought an abundance of love to our day. Mary’s experience and heart make her the perfect person to help facilitate a monumental day in any couple’s journey. It was truly an honor to have her there. Though I’d been with my now husband for 7 years and had been telling him that I love him for all of them, I was at a bit of a loss for how to properly tell him in front of a crowd of family and friends. I was referred to Mary by one of her friends who was unavailable, which really is just a testament to the wonderful people Mary surrounds herself with. Mary was not only quick to respond (a rare quality in the wedding industry), but her energy and ideas immediately gave me ease in setting up a ceremony script. It was the perfect balance of things that just come with true love and things that were personal to us. Planning was stressful and on a particularly difficult day, I even found myself reading our script to get my feet back on the ground. I can’t thank her enough.

I hired Mary as the florist for my wedding, and she was absolutely incredible. Her professionalism and attention to detail ensured that every aspect of our floral arrangements matched our vision perfectly. Wow, I can't imagine what my son's wedding would have been like without Mary! Where to start, honestly... not only were the bouquets, floral arrangements, candles, etc. even more beautiful than we had anticipated, but she saved the day many times! An unusually windy venue could've resulted in a total mess after different elements blew over, but not only did Mary stay relaxed (and calm me down in the process!), but she came up with solutions which resulted in everything turning out beautifully! She and her team went above and beyond. Everything we had contracted with her to do she did perfectly. And then some. I planned and brought many special touches that I knew my son and now daughter-in-law would love, and while I was getting my hair and makeup done I panicked when I realized that some of those things might not get finished. Mary stepped in and did them without being asked. Thank goodness Mary intuitively knew what was needed! From the first time we spoke on the phone, through our planning sessions and my many questions, I felt reassured and confident that this wedding would turn out to be the day we were dreaming of!

For our wedding, we chose a "Mad Hatter tea party" theme, a concept that required not only an eye for the unusual but also an enthusiastic and creative approach to floral arrangements. Mary surpassed our expectations in every way! From our first consultation, Mary was genuinely excited to dive into the whimsical world of our Mad Hatter wedding. Her passion for unique themes shone brightly as she brainstormed and brought forward innovative ideas that aligned perfectly with our vision. Throughout the planning process, Mary's expertise and creative flair were evident. Mary was the BEST thing that happened to my wedding AND my mental health! Every single time there was a problem she took care of it and told me I did not need to worry - which happened a LOT because we got married on a Navy base and their security office was a nightmare. She went to bat for me and I never had to worry once about whether things would be okay. She also did the florals, ordered rentals (chairs, table cloths, dinnerware, decorations), and did the day of coordition with her additional team members -she did it all. Her entire vision was me being happy and doing whatever I wanted in my wedding. I texted, called, emailed all the time for a 2 year period of random things I wanted to do and she made it happen no question. She is a timeline master and worked with all my vendors to make sure we were on the same page. She is the type of person when she talks, people listen. And trust me you want that person working for you! She let me put her phone number on my wedding website so that all the guests contacted her with their questions and problems so that I wouldn’t get them. She arranged transportation for me. She also helped me plan my rehearsal dinner and worked with the restaurant to get exactly what I needed and wanted. She has done sooo many weddings that she can show you pictures of ideas from what she’s done in the past if you don’t know what you want. Mary was born for this role and the best thing I ever did was choose her as my wedding planner. I couldn’t have imagined doing it without her. I’ll tell you what - even my guests starting chanting “MARY! MARY!! MARY!!!” at my reception when I thanked her in my speech! Everyone loves her. If you want a stylish and seamless wedding, hire her!

Mary and her team made my wedding an absolute fairytale. Mary truly thought of every detail– from the gorgeous flowers to the beautiful welcome table to the schedule of the events which ran so smoothly. She met with us several times before the wedding to make sure that all of our desires were met, and we would have the best day of our lives. Mary even came to our wedding rehearsal the day before at the church to make sure we had everything we needed for the big day, even though the church already had a coordinator too. At cocktail hour and the reception, Mary and her team greeted all of our guests and made sure that everyone was taken care of. Before my new husband and I made our grand entrance, Mary came up to the bridal ready room to help adjust my husband’s boutonniere and give us words of encouragement before greeting all of our guests. Mary B is a saint! I knew what dress I wanted to wear for my wedding… and that was it. I let her take the design reins, and she knocked it out of the park. She made my whole reception beautiful with a ton of candle light, and she dressed our table like we were a king and queen. My whole day ran so smoothly thanks to her and her team. There is no one else I would recommend. You are not only getting a beautiful looking wedding when you work with her, you are getting so much more. You can tell she pours her heart into making your day as special as it can be. I can’t thank her enough!

Mary and her crew were incredible. We had a destination wedding in Mexico, and let me tell you, situations come up that are problematic. But not for Mary and her crew, they rolled with the punches, and gave us the most beautiful, seamless, and incredible wedding! Our friends still talk about how incredible it was, and how it was the best wedding that they had ever been to. Mary was our day of coordinator and florist for our 9/9/2022 wedding at Tower Beach Club. She was nothing but amazing and although we only had hired her for the day of the wedding, she was more than willing to answer any questions we had along the way months in advance. You can definitely tell she loves what she does and has a passion for helping others. We unfortunately had to change our ceremony from outside on the beach just hours before our wedding because of rain and she got everything in order inside our reception area and it turned out perfect. We hired Mary as our wedding coordinator for our wedding at Oceanview Room in Point Loma. This was a destination wedding for my now husband and I since we live on the east coast. Mary’s knowledge of our venue (on a military base) was instrumental in making helpful recommendations that we would have otherwise overlooked. One key recommendation was about the tablecloths and how they would look much nicer if done a certain way (not the way the base would typically have done it). She was absolutely right! Something that we didn’t observe, but experienced was how much she was doing behind the scenes. As I was about to walk down the aisle with my Dad, I vaguely recall someone fluffing my dress to make it look wonderful……when I saw the wedding video I learned that it was Mary. We didn’t have to make a single decision on our wedding day because Mary was so available to us to plan leading up to it. We simply were able to experience our amazing day while she managed and coordinated everything. We give our highest recommendation for Mary and her crew!

Mary was absolutely incredible! It was such a joy to work with her and her team. She was so supportive and was available to plan over the phone months in advance. My husband and I are not local to the SD area, so Mary was so extremely helpful with all details and planning. She was incredibly knowledgeable about our venue and vendors that we were working with and was able to help guide with tips and best practices. When we finally met in person a couple days prior to the wedding, it was like greeting an old friend. I can not express how thankful I am for this woman! Like most brides, I have dreamed of my wedding day FORVER and I have to say, BECAUSE of Mary and her crew, they made that day happen for us! Trying to plan a wedding during a pandemic was a complete joke. We went thru 3 completely different venues, which then had 3 different plans. The process of being let down by each of these venues Covid restrictions, felt so defeating, and I can honestly say this magical day would not have happened without Mary and her team. When I look back on the planning of three different venues (which then felt like we had planned 3 different weddings at that point) leading up to the day, I am BEYOND thankful that Mary was there from the start. People say, “ leave it to the professional”... and that is MARY! This is her field, her passion, and my goodness she knows how to make these things go off flawlessly. Not only does she know the ins and outs of weddings, her personal support and encouragement is an added gift in her being apart of this process. She was ALWAYS there in a second to ensure she was going to make it happen, and was calm and comforting through ALL the chaos of venue changing. One thing that stands out that I really appreciated from Mary is she NEVER left you hanging. Her communication was spot on, and response times in emails/text was fantastic, which made me feel secure in the planning. The communication with the other people involved was great, with timelines so everyone was kept in the loop! Mary knows the little details that I had no idea needed to be taken care of, and that is where I know I had the best help I could have ever asked for. The FLOWERS! They were amazing. With all the venue changes, flowers and table decor were the last things on my mind. To be honest, I had forgotten the vision of what I had even asked Mary and her team to create, because at this point, I just wanted a wedding to happen! But oh my goodness, when Mary arrived at the hotel to drop off my bouquet it literally took my breathe away! It was the most gorgeous arrangement I had ever seen, and even better than the pictures I had given her of what I wanted it to look like! When we arrived at the reception room, we were blown away at the details I had originally forgotten I had asked, were there... and it was brought to life... it was AMAZING! The colors and the layout was MORE than I could have ever imagined. We loved the details of our sweetheart table and so many guests commented on how gorgeous everything looked. Like I previously said, this day would NOT have happened without the encouragement and planning by Mary! She restored my excitement for the wedding by creating the best day I’ve dreamed of my whole life. I still can’t believe we made it happen and I still can’t stop smiling at how perfect of a day it was! We can’t Thank you enough for being there through every step and little detail that do make all the difference in creating a day that we will never forget! I wish we could have the wedding all over again!

My husband and eye made quick-er decision to get married sooner than later because of a lot of things going on in the world. We went to Kona Kai on Shelter Island and they offered an intimate wedding package for no more than 30 people. It was very affordable and I got Elements of Style to take care of us! Marilyn was my coordinator a long with Gillian who was a surprise. These 2 ladies looked after EVERY detail including not letting me walk down the aisle until all my guests arrived! ( A few got lost and then were looking for parking) We could not have a reception because it would have been considered and "event" which would not work during COVID. They made our day very special.

Mary helped my wedding with floral, coordination, and decorations. Shen met with us three times before the wedding to discuss the vision of our wedding. For flowers, I just picked a color and she took care of everything else. And I handed her a picture of what I want for the arch, she did it perfectly. I had Josie as my day-of-coordinator and she is wonderful. I have no idea how she organized everything so pretty that day. Our sweetheart table is beautiful. If you are worrying about your wedding, talk to Mary and she will help you figure it out within your budget. Definitely recommend!

Our wedding was absolutely perfect thanks to Mary and Elements of Style! When it comes to planning a wedding we had no clue what we wanted or what to expect. So we decided to work with a planner and decided that Mary was the right fit. We let her know that we wanted the main color to be burgundy and that we wanted sunflowers. Since we know nothing about decorating we asked Mary to pick out and plan everything. Her creativity is beyond what we imagined. It was like a fairy tale wedding with twinkling lights and all. Everything was perfect and so much more than we could have hoped for! Mary not only made the reception beautiful she provided us with a beautiful ceremony as our officiant. We were nervous about writing our own vows so we asked Mary to write out a ceremony for us. She spoke to us individually so that she could personalize the vows and they were so fitting and beautiful. Mary was also very helpful in picking out vendors to supply our ranch outdoor wedding. It was a private venue so we needed to provide everything from tables, chairs, dance floor, Porta potties (the nice ones that people actually like to use), cups, etc. Mary has great relationships with many vendors in the wedding industry. She was able to suggest a few different options and negotiated fair deals for all involved. Mary even called and made the reservations for us, all we had to do was make the payments. We were constantly asked how wedding plans were coming along and we would shrug our shoulders and say great, our planner is taking care of every detail. We were not worried or stressed in any way as we trusted Mary with everything! Not having the stress of planning and decorating for our wedding we were able to enjoy life before our wedding rather than stress because of all the little things. Mary and everyone at Elements of Style involved in our special day, we cannot thank you enough for the dream wedding you provided. We love your team so much and couldn’t be happier with your services!

Mary is the best! She was the florist and week-of coordinator for my daughter's wedding. The flowers and decorations she provided were beautiful, creating the vision my daughter had for the wedding day of her dreams. Mary worked with all our vendors, and helped keep everything on track on the 'big day'. I don't know what we would have done without her.

Mary and her team are amazing!! I was very anxious about planning my wedding across the country all by myself. I had a vision of what I wanted and I admit a Type A personality. Meeting Mary and working with her was a godsend. She listened to what I wanted and made it come true. We were blown away with how beautiful everything was. She even saved the day when an issue arrived from our church venue. I would highly recommend her and her team for all events, big or small. We live in DC and decided to do a destination wedding in San Diego. We interviewed many wedding coordinators. What stood out about Mary is her warmth, her many years of experience and the fact that she truly loves what she does. We had a two day South Asian wedding. Now let me tell you, planning a two day big fat Indian wedding is no cakewalk. She was invested 💯 from the get go. We had innumerable phone calls with Mary. She would happily answer them without any hesitation. Whenever there was a possible crisis with a vendor, she would step in and resolve it. She is punctual and organized. Every event ran as per schedule on the day before and the day of the wedding. All I can say is that our wedding was nothing short of a fairytale wedding weekend. Definitely hire her if you’re planning a wedding in San Diego.

I reached out to Mary after she coordinated my cousins wedding and I am so glad I did! Mary put me in touch with my day of coordinator, Josie, who was also amazing. The elements of style team took so much stress out of the wedding planning process and helped make my day perfectly smooth! Everything from decor, timing, and cleanup was great. Josie is very passionate about what she does and always went out of her way to make sure everything was just how I wanted it. If I could go back I would book them every time :) Don’t hesitate to book them because they do book up fast!

Mary is an excellent wedding planner. My husband and I live in Hong Kong but our wedding was held in San Diego, CA. Mary conducted video calls with us from time to time, and with her and her team’s help, our wedding ran well perfectly as we expected and helped our guests enjoy the day! The decorations she helped us with were amazing, showing her care towards different customer needs. Her experience definitely showed when it came to organizing our wedding ceremony as well as the dinner reception. We met Mary at a wedding mixer last year and knew we had to get her. She is personable, very easy to work with, and very organized. After our first meeting, I loved how she sent us a very detailed plan of our wedding right away. Pricing is very reasonable too. Mary made my wedding last month a lot less stressful and very smooth. I had my wedding on May 4, 2019 at the Bali Hai, and the wedding was everything I dreamed of and more. Mary Bowerman was amazing from day one. Josie Sandness was my wedding coordinator on the day of; she had a calm, upbeat energy which was exactly what I needed! All of my family commented on how great a job she did in organizing the day, managing the crowd, and ensuring everything went smoothly. She was organized, efficient, and pleasant to work with. I cannot imagine hiring anyone else to help with my wedding; so many of my friends have horror stories from how unhelpful their wedding planners were, and I am happy to say that I have only positive things to say about my wedding team at Elements of Style. Using Elements of Style was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Mary has extensive experience and knows what works and what doesn’t. She carefully listened to every request and detail we wanted and delivered a beautiful product. We received many compliments on our beautiful flowers. We were able to save some money by using the same flowers from the ceremony again at the reception as part of the centerpieces. Also from being in the business many years she has quite a collection of wedding related accouterments. We rented charger plates from her, but she has almost everything anyone would need. Although we ended up choosing a different coordinator and officiant, Elements of Style provides these services as well and would be a great one stop shop for your entire wedding. Their truly caring and personal service made our special day that much more special.

This review is long overdue. I was married in July and Mary provided the flowers for my ceremony and reception. I loved my flowers! When I arrived at the venue, Mary stole me away for a minute to show me her work. I was blown away. The centerpieces were perfect, the flowers on the cake looked like they were out of a magazine. My bouquet and my girls’ bouquets were elegant and lovely and the bouts for the men were perfectly matched. Mary was very easy to work with and the best value for the money. She worked with my budget and really strived to match my vision (spoiler- she totally achieved the look I was going for). I would highly recommend Mary and her team to everyone!

Mary Bowerman and Elements of Style made our wedding absolutely fabulous! We were married in May 2018 at the Hilton San Diego Resort and Spa on Mission Bay. Mary was our coordinator, florist and decorator to start. Mary was always available to us and truly helped us bring together our dream wedding. The flowers she designed for us were incredible. Mary also became our officiant less than two months before the wedding after our previous officiant was unable to marry us. We desired a bilingual wedding (english/spanish) and Mary officiated a beautiful outdoor ceremony for us with a Spanish translator. Mary's prices are very fair and she works very hard on the weddings she coordinates. We were thrilled with Mary's services and we would recommend her to any couple planning to wed in the San Diego area.

My Husband and I had the absolute pleasure of hiring Elements of Style for our wedding on May 20th 2018. We had Mary do month of coordination and she also doubled as our florist. My husband and I always knew that our wedding would be a little different and unique, not too traditional and that it would take a special coordinator to make it happen, and Mary and her team delivered on every single level. Our wedding was absolute perfection!! Mary and her team took our ideas and implemented them flawlessly. They have impeccable communication skills and Mary is some sort of wizard when it comes to making flower arrangements. What made our wedding a little trickier than most was that our ceremony took place at Cuvier Park (The Wedding Bowl) in La Jolla with a quick turn around for our reception at the Coronado Community Center on Coronado Island. Needless to say two venues had to essentially be set up and taken down within hours of each other which also included coordinating multiple vendors at both locations. The results for both locations were amazing. Mary and her team took our blueprints and made them reality. On the day of our wedding we had nothing to worry about as we knew our wedding was in great hands. And our guests are still raving about how much fun they had even though it has now been a couple months since the wedding. If you’re looking for a coordinator who can make your wildest wedding dream come true (and even better than you imagined) there is no need to look further. Mary takes so much time and care into everything you ask for. I remember her saying “Just call me at anytime if you have any questions”, and at one point my then Fiance and I were on the phone with her at 12:30 at night answering some of our concerns. People can go the extra mile in their work, when Mary goes the extra mile and then just keeps on going. Mary and her amazing team of Corrin and her assistants were spectacular. I planned my Wedding from many states away and couldn't have picked a better team. Although I had only hired Mary as a day of coordinator, she and Corrin gave me the attention and care as if I was their first priority every step of the way. Every single time I called Mary on her cell she answered immediately. During my entire Wedding every detail was perfect and I never had a single worry. In addition, my husband and I had a tight budget and Mary was able to work as our florist as well and our flower came our beyond amazing and didn't break our bank. I met with Mary at the local Starbucks in La Mesa and instantly felt comfortable with her and her team helping us with our wedding. Mary is a very down to earth person that truly cares about making the events she works on go well and goes the extra mile to ensure they do. We hired Mary's team to do the flowers, to be the officiant, and the day of coordinator and they did an excellent job in all three areas. Mary was there throughout the process to help me as I had questions which in its self is invaluable. Lara and Mary were at the rehearsal and made sure we were all ready for the wedding. Lara was our officiant and she did a great job. Lara also has a great upbeat and funny personality that helped out a lot during the rehearsal when a few of the groomsmen were late =) When it comes to the flowers they were gorgeous and I'm all about the flowers so this says a lot. Also, multiple guests complimented the flowers and how beautiful they were. Mary's team also decorated the venue with all the agreed upon decorations and everything looked d awesome. When it comes to the day of coordination; Mary's team did an excellent job and was there from start to end to ensure things went as smoothly as possible and the wedding schedule stayed on track. Overall, Mary and her team truly care about their clients and it shows with what they do. I can't say enough how much I suggest going with Mary's team when it comes to your wedding or event. We planned a destination wedding in San Diego and found Elements of Style through a recommendation from one our prospective venues. It wasn’t easy planning from a distance, but Mary walked us through every detail, helped us determine the perfect set up for our ceremony and reception, connected us with other vendors, designed beautiful flowers, and PERFECTLY executed our wedding day (Corrin was AMAZING for the day-of and keeping our guests and rowdy wedding party in check and on schedule). I don’t know what to say about Mary, but that she is simply amazing! If you hire her as your wedding coordinator and officiant it will be one of the smartest wedding decisions a bride can make! Where to begin about Mary?!?! You know when you meet someone and feel an instant connection? That is Mary’s super power! We exchanged emails, and agreed to meet. My fiancé (now husband), and I went to her house and met with her in her office. She is personable and professional, and asked a ton of questions to get a real understanding of what we wanted. She recommended SD Linens for my tables, chairs, Linens and lighting and DJ Justin (Windham). I hired both, and they were fabulous, see my reviews for them on their pages. Mary was available morning, noon and night! I could call, text or email anytime and she’d get back to me right away! She puts you at ease, and is constantly reassuring. Mary was my officiant as well as day of wedding planner. Because of her super power, charisma, she held everyone’s attention during the ceremony. I was so laser focused on her speaking, that I was able to BE in the moment and really enjoy it. We had a Star Wars wedding, and she incorporated some Star Wars references for us. All of my guests commented on how amazing she was!! Mary is the best at what she does, but if you can’t afford to have her as a planner, at least have her as your officiant!! I can’t thank her enough for helping to make my day perfect!!!

We LOVED working with Mary for our wedding! She was our day of coordinator and officiant and she handled both with ease. We really had no idea what we were going to do for the ceremony, but we did know that we wanted it to be non-religious, casual, and fun. Mary had actually been recommended by someone at our venue, Paradise Point, so we decided to set up a meeting and see how things went. Almost immediately, we knew that we wanted Mary to be our officiant. She is warm, funny, and cared deeply about making sure that we had the wedding that we wanted and were comfortable with. She gave us a handful of examples for some ideas about how we could structure our ceremony and was super receptive to some of the ideas we came up with. We had a super small wedding of about 15 people (including the bride and groom) but we had vendor deliveries and set up on the day of that neither of us were going to be available for, but Mary had it covered no problem. I can’t tell you how incredible it was, as a bride, to not have to worry about anything beyond getting myself ready on the day of my wedding. I didn’t get one phone call or text from a vendor because Mary was handling everything like a champ. We had initially been so worried about having someone we didn’t know, who didn’t know us officiating our wedding, but Mary really took the time to get to know us and give us a unique ceremony that really fit our personalities.

Mary was excellent! My husband and I used her services for our flowers and everything was beautiful! She really understood the look and feel that we were hoping for and helped to guide us with design options. I showed her a picture of how I wanted my bouquet and one of her floral designers did an AMAZING job on my bouquet!!!! It literally took my breath away and made me cry tears of joy and excitement. It was EXACTLY how I had pictured it! I wish I caught the gentleman’s name who made my bouquet and decorated our cake because his work was phenomenal. Mary responded very promptly to my many emails and was very flexible with our budget. She and her team really took the time to understand what it is my husband and I were looking for and made all of our flower (and wedding arch!) dreams come true. My aunt also used Mary for her wedding for flowers & coordinating and everything was perfect there as well!

Mary and her team did an AMAZING job with my flowers, linen rentals, centerpieces, and most importantly, our wedding ceremony. Mary provided me with a vision board of all flowers and centerpieces, so I knew exactly what I was getting. She worked on putting together the perfect wedding ceremony, personalizing every detail which included a memorial for our fathers, a Catholic Lasso ceremony, and including our 1 year old daughter in the ceremony. It was beautiful and she she had all guests in tears. If you are looking for great service, excel follow through, great communication, and VERY reasonable prices, Mary is your go-to gal!!! Mary and her team did an amazing job! We were looking for a day of wedding coordinator and during our initial meeting she asked us if we had a florist yet. It turns out that she is also a florist. She had a lot of great ideas and suggestions. One of them was a split apart bouquet to toss, which was a big hit. My bouquet was beautiful and it was just what I had envisioned. She suggested that we re-purpose the flowers we used in our church as centerpieces for the reception. Mary is very organized and was quick to respond to my many emails. She connected to our other vendors to make sure they were all on the same page, especially the day of our wedding. A month before our wedding we met at the hotel so that we could have a walk through. She brought one of her day of coordinators, Lara along with her. Lara was amazing and a lot of fun! She was on top of everything, kept everything running smoothly and on schedule. She took care of me, she made sure I was drinking plenty of water, helped bustle my dress. She even went to the gift shop and put together thank you bags for our flower girl and ring bearer because we forgot ours at my sister’s house. She also did a wonderful job of arranging the church flowers into beautiful centerpieces and helped our guests with the lighting of the sparklers. Overall, she did a tremendous job of making sure our wedding ran smoothly and she was a joy to work with. Mary and her team exceeded our expectations and helped make our wedding a beautiful day that we will always remember. My niece was with us for our initial meeting and she was very impressed with Mary’s professionalism and expertise. Enough so that she made an appointment with her to have her make the floral arrangements for her wedding two months later. We highly recommend Mary and her team.

First off - Mary is AMAZING! I highly reccomend her, not only is she a warm, caring and truly kind person, her work is outstanding as well! I planned a wedding from overseas (Germany) and even though there were 9 hours time difference she would always respond super quickly and answered all my questions. I had sent her pictures of what I liked and she made every single detail come to life. I was simply amazed when I arrived at the location right after the ceremony, everything was so beautiful! I really felt she knew what I was looking for and she put it all together for our special day. We were on a tight budget, but Mary's prices were absolutely reasonable and it was totally worth it! Mary was AMAZING!!! She surpassed my expectations, and let's be honest, I had some high ones! Not only were her prices VERY reasonable (I called so many florists, and trust me, her prices are really good!), but she gave me ideas on how to re-purpose my flowers in order to keep the cost down. Mary is so genuine, caring, and kind - she helped us through the whole process (not just with the flowers), and I could tell she was genuinely happy and excited for our wedding day. Thanks to Mary Bowerman, my wedding day was the most magical day of my life. I'm an older bride--53--and this was my first marriage. I did not spend months and months planning--we only set our date about three months prior to the wedding. I worried that might be an issue, but Mary was able to help me execute the big day flawlessly and beautifully. She thought of details I hadn't even thought of and made sure that nothing was overlooked. We held the ceremony in one location and the reception at another, and both places looked beautiful. Mary perfectly executed my vision for flowers and decor--a lot of greenery, white, and a rustic look. She handled my cake decorations, and everyone said the cake was stunning. She also created a gorgeous hairpiece that my stylist used for my hair. Mary also led me to a wonderful DJ who handled the music and sound for both ceremony and reception. Mary came to us only a few months before our big day! It was an Indian wedding with 300 guests and lots of vendors to coordinate. She made sure the day was taken care of from 10am-midnight without putting any worries or stress on us or our families. We really appreciate all the hard work from her and her team especially Corinne. We would recommend her services to anyone planning a wedding!

Mary recently coordinated and provided the flowers for my wedding in August 2017. I cannot say enough good things about her and her team. First, we set our date a year in advance. Then due to my husband's military training schedule, we had to move our wedding date to just four months out. I wasn't sure if we could do this and I called Mary and she assured me that it could be done. Not only was it done, but it wasn't even stressful! Mary helped us through the process every step of the way. Anytime I had a question or concern she would email or call back within a few hours, often times less! She helped us secure the rest of our vendors quickly and easily. Because we got married on a military base, we had to have all of our vendors vetted with base security. Mary took care of all of that for us which would have been SO STRESSFUL. Cut to the day of, Mary had everything on lock. I didn't have to worry about anything running smoothly or coordinating anything or keeping it on time. Mary made sure everything that needed to happen happened on time and got done right. Not only did she keep everything flowing smoothly, but she was actually nice and kind when she did it! Multiple people remarked on the fact that she was so efficient but managed to be nice while she did it (apparently this is not common). She truly seems like she enjoys what she does and you actually feel the love from her. She wants to make your special day absolutely perfect. I actually had friends at the wedding from Northern California who told me they want to fly Mary up to coordinate their wedding, she was so good! Using Mary as my coordinator and florist was hands-down the best decision I made for my wedding. If you're getting married anywhere in San Diego or the surrounding area, do yourself a favor and use Mary and Elements of Style.

Don't waste your time like we did shopping around for vendors who can do your floral at your wedding. As a Marine, I'm pretty blunt when it comes to reviews and the amazing service provide by Mary, Elements of Style was Second to none. The wedding wouldn't have been the same without her expertise in floral for our big day. Not only was her work impressive but we appreciated how much she was on top of us in choosing our designs and colors because let's face it, sometimes you need a reminder especially when you are dealing with so many people and vendors leading up to your big day.
