I can not begin to say enough great things about Erica and her team! They made the entire wedding planning process so seamless! From being there at every vendor appointment with us helping with decisions, helping create a day-of timeline and then communicating with our vendors, coordinating catering, day-of setup and ensuring everything was absolutely perfect, to fixing my dress before I walk down the aisle! This woman does it ALL!! We cannot recommend elite events enough! They made our wedding day even more perfect than we ever thought was possible! BOOK HER NOW! You won’t regret it!!!

Erica and Shayna with Elite Events were the best possible investment I could have made for my special day! They were so helpful and knew how to make recommendations for me based on my personality, in which they took the time to get to know. I knew nothing about wedding planning and they made me so comfortable in making decisions to the point that I had zero regrets from the day! Erica helped me find the perfect photographer and florist since those were the most important factors for my husband and I. My wedding was absolutely beautiful and I owe it all to them!!!

We could not have been more pleased with Erica, and all of the girls at Elite Events! Going above and beyond all of our expectations! Through all of her hard work, and diligence, Erica made it feel as though we were her only clients. We know for a fact that we weren’t the only ones, but that feeling made it clear we made the right decision in choosing Elite Events. Erica did as little or as much as we needed, and without her, I know my wedding wouldn’t have been as amazing as it was! She did everything we asked, and then some! Erica always picked up the phone for any reason I called or texted, little or big, she makes her clients a priority. At our reception, we had a little bump with the venue; Erica knew we didn’t want to stress about anything like that, and she took care of it without bothering us so we could enjoy ourselves. I have recommended Elite Events to every engaged couple I know, and will continue to do so! I know for a fact that I will be contacting Erica for any future event I will have as well!
Erica & Shayna were AMAZING! Erica kept all of my type A details in place and helped guide my day perfectly. She was great to meet with, easy to communicate with, and very professional. Shayna was a phenomenal backup on the day-of! Both ladies calmed many situations (they happen!) and even had a kit on hand to help with band aids, bobby pins and more. I cannot recommend Erica enough! Her pricing is very reasonable and she truly goes above and beyond. You can tell she cares greatly about her couples! The details are her thing and she will make sure your vision comes to life.
I cannot recommend Elite Events enough! I was truly able to be present and enjoy my day because of them. Erica's communication leading up to the big day was so quick and thorough. She made me feel so at ease, taking care of all the details I may have missed. On the day of my wedding, everything was taken care of by their team and I didn't have to worry about a thing. We had a hiccup with our shuttle bus breaking down, but you would've never known it because Erica and her team were ON IT. If you're on the fence about hiring Elite Events, DO IT. I promise you will be so happy you did.
I just wanted to reach out and thank you for EVERYTHING you did for me during my wedding planning process. The day was amazing and honestly went very smooth. I would not HAVE been able to pull it off, if it weren’t for you. You and your team were just amazing! My guests just cant get over how beautiful everything was. From the escort wall, to the linens, to the ship wheels, The center pieces, and even the chairs! The tent was just perfect and looked even better than I had even planned it. Erica and Shayna with Elite Events are the most amazing wedding planners we could have asked for! Erica did everything possible to make our day special and bought into our vision for the wedding immediately! She thought ahead about problems we never even knew were possible to have. We initially weren’t going to get a wedding planner, but I don’t know what we would have done the day of the wedding without Elite Events! They both made everything so effortless and helped everything run so smoothly. We will be recommending them to anyone we know who is getting married in the future!

I was the photographer for a wedding that Erica & her staff worked on! Erica was fantastic to work with. Her attention to detail & personality stood out the most! She was happy to help in anyway possible throughout the day! The decor was beautiful & elegant. She completely transformed the spaces she was given. Sometimes the circumstances and timeline are ideal —and sometimes they are not. Erica did a great a job providing advice and options while having to consider multiple scenarios. She made the planning easier and thought about the details and the finishing touches I wanted to include as well. The day of the event, Erica and Shayna helped pull the event together and made sure Things ran smoothly. The atmosphere they created was perfect!
As a bridal makeup artist, I frequently work with many wedding professionals. Elite Events is by far one of the BEST planners I have ever worked with! Not only does this company go above and beyond for their clients but also for the other wedding professionals working alongside them. They are friendly, organized, and have a very warm calming presence- which is so crucial to have on such an important day!
Before my very first wedding with them, Erica was in touch to provide me with the timeline, a map of the venue, parking instructions, and asked if there was anything she could help with. I was already impressed with how helpful and friendly she was, so I knew the wedding day would be wonderful.
On the wedding day, my expectations were exceeded. Shayna greeted me at my car and escorted me to the room I'd be working in. This was especially convenient because the location was a historic venue that I had never visited before (with SO many floors and rooms). I would have easily been lost without her!
Throughout the morning, Erica and Shayna checked in often to see that everyone had everything needed and provided updates on how things were progressing with the event space. These ladies were truly on top of things and I could tell by their smiles that they really love their jobs as well. The bride and bridal party were able to relax and enjoy the getting ready process because they knew that everything was taken care of and running smoothly. Their level of attention to detail is truly incredible and rare. I absolutely loved my experience with them and cannot recommend them enough!
have as much time as I wish I did to to make my amazing daughter feel like the she is the center of my world the wat she deserves. I always try and make her birthday a big deal and have big themed parties to make her feel extra special! This year I took on new work projects and time got away from me. I emailed Erica about if Elite Events did more than just weddings. She said Absolutely we will try and do whatever you have in mind. I told her my daughter was in love with Taylor Swift and she was turning 10. So not to “kid” like but something her and her friends could enjoy. Elite Events pulled together the most fantastic party! It was beyond what I even envisioned. They set up. They tore down. I didn’t have to do anything but watch my daughter smile for hours on end. It was perfect! From a Polaroid station to glitter tattoos and a milkshake bar! They even took care of ordering the cake. 5+ stars! Elite Events will always be recommended and I will definitely be using them again! I have had the privilege of seeing a few of Erica's events come together. She is truly an inspiration to the industry. She brings a top level of professionalism to her clients while making their visions come to life. Anyone would be lucky to have her plan and execute their event.
WHAT A RELIEF! Both of my daughters got married within 5 months of each other, both with completely different weddings! We found Elite Events via The Knot and chose to purchase the “go to girls” package based on their affordability and knowledge! The attention to detail and and enthusiasm Erica has we just couldn’t find anywhere else in the Toledo area (and we met with several!). Erica was able to show us past events she coordinated and they were all just beautiful! Immediately we knew we could trust she would do an outstanding job...and that she did! Everything happened just as my daughters wanted it and Erica also ensured it was what THEY wanted not what other influencers wanted. We received so many compliments from the ceremony decor to the lighting to the escort cards. All involved in the wedding truly got to enjoy the day and not worry about 1 thing. We LOVE Elite Events and will absolutely use Erica and Shayna again!
I'm so glad we decided to have a day of coordinator as Erica did a great job figuring out the vision I was trying to go for when I struggled to articulate it and bringing it to life. As a groom, there isn’t much to be stressed about and with Elite Events I had absolutely zero worries! My bride was able to remain calm in knowing everything she had planned with Erica was coming to life just as she imagined it! A coordinator for your big day is a must have - and an even bigger must have is Elite Events! My now husband and I are huge planners and super organized- therefore we were initially skeptical about the need for a coordinator. I will be the first to tell you, that we were dead wrong.
Elite events handled everything - from dealing with calming down parents on the order of walking in to the ceremony, to wrangling all 16 members of the bridal party for every single minute of the day, to making an emergency alcohol run when we were running low, to making sure all 11 of our vendors were on the same page about every single detail for weeks and months leading up to our wedding day.
The best part about Elite Events is that they are very much about personal connections and relationships, and we were more than a paycheck or a phone number to them. We met several times leading up to our wedding which allowed us to have 100% confidence in each other to gain our common goal of making our day nothing short of unforgettable. Because we had met several times, they understood every single one of our intricacies, and knew our biggest worries, which is what puts them in a different league of their own compared to other, larger companies.
If you are thinking of hiring a coordinator, you absolutely should. And you should look no further than Erica and Shayna at Elite Events.
All I can say is Erica and Shayna are lifesavers.
We meticulously planned for months and had every detail and back up plan thought about. We debated having a coordinator back and forth and finally a friend convinced us. I thought I had it all covered but my new wife finally convinced me.
Well I have never been so wrong in my life. Pretty much all of our plans failed as it rained all day, in-laws got heated, and we ran out of alcohol just to name the big things. I would mention a potential problem to one of them and it would be solved or mediated or communicate before it became a big problem.
We woke up with everyone having an amazing time, all of our stuff in the right places, and no one knowing anything was out of place the whole day.
You can think you have everything handled, but Erica and Shayna are the perfect voices of reason to mediate between family drama, organizing all the vendors as plans are changing, or fixing all the little things that will never go simply.
I promise you need them. They allowed me to enjoy the day the way everyone told me to.

I don't know how to even begin! Elite Events (Erica & Shayna) were absolute miracle workers, trusted advisors and genuine great people to collaborate with when it came to our Big Day. I had a brand new venue (private historic home) and Erica saw my vision right away and did everything to make it come true - it was super complicated (think we had like 25+ vendors), we were straddling two cultural heritages, AND we had to basically bring in everything and build essentially from scratch - but Erica was always calm, cool and collected, even when I myself was not! She and Shayna are super creative, always see new "problems" as obstacles to be tackled and I really appreciated their enthusiasm and commitment. I was also planning this from out of town and had to fly in to Toledo on these whirlwind planning weekends and they were always available and happy to be with me for hours on end! So, needless to say, the process leading up to the wedding would have been enough to write them a rave review, but the Day Of Coordination absolutely blew me away. They were on top of everything, I never had to worry (and that my friends is priceless!) and I can't even tell you how long they stayed after the Reception was over to organize things for us to pick up the next day (!!!). It would have been a disaster without them! So aside from their obvious strengths of professionalism, communication skills, creativity and vision, they are also just two wonderful human beings that I hope I stay in touch with forever! I have already recommended Erica/Shayna & Elite to a friend getting married in the area who has hired them! I couldn't recommend them any higher to anyone reading this review, you will be so happy you have them on your side! I can't wait for an excuse to work with them again :-)
My husband and I used Elite Events for our baby shower a couple weekends ago. We live in Wisconsin and the shower was in Michigan so we needed all the help we could get. She helped us from start to finish, theme, design, food, rentals, games, everything!! This is my second time using this company, and I will never throw a party without Erica and her team. She is professional, experienced, and knows exactly what you need to make a party " the best of the year". My guests are still talking about their experience. Thank you Elite and Erica!!!!
Erica was amazing to work with for my sister's wedding. She went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that the day was perfect. Erica is AMAZING! From her patience and understanding to her empathy and ability to accommodate; she is the epitome of excellence! I contacted Erica to assist in planning my Bohemian themed baby shower that was being held at the end of July. After expressing a few details wit Erica, she took my vision and ran with it--in a great way! I couldn't have made my vision come to life without her highly creative expertise and knowledge of this particular, and my favorite style. From the moment I laid eyes on the vision board she sent me I was sold and extremely excited about planning my shower with Elite Events, but... "life happens" sometimes and it happened to me pretty abruptly. There was no push-back or pressure from Erica . She completely understood and was even willing to make modifications to my quote. Unfortunately, I still had to cease planning my shower with Erica and Elite Events, but it goes without saying that if the circumstances were different, I KNOW my shower would have turned out exactly how I envisioned it (if not better). I would highly recommend Elite Events to anyone looking for a planner in the Toledo area. I worked with Shayna for all of my Save the Date and Invitation needs - she made my crazy ideas come to life!! My hope was to have my save the dates set the mood of the entire wedding and she did JUST that! She was a joy to work with and so creative! Everyone just loved the invitations!!
Nikki and all the girls at Elite Events are absolutely amazing! They were so helpful from the start to the very last moment. Anytime I had a question they were quick to respond and always calmed my nerves. My ceremony was supposed to be outside but it started raining. I don't know where to even begin with this review. My wedding was perfect. These Ladies are worth every penny. They made the wedding planning process fun and I was not stressed at all during my engagement. They did an amazing job with my décor and brought my exact vision to life. The wedding resembled Nick and I for we are huge Detroit Tiger fans and the wedding had some hints of that in our décor. I've had so many say that my wedding the prettiest and best wedding they have ever been too. The day was so organized and flowed perfectly. My husband gave was completely against us hiring them but during our rehearsal when he witness how Kati kept everyone in line he was happy that we hired them. Then while we were eating dinner he complimented them on how beautiful every thing turned out and again said he was glad we hired them. The flowers were so gorgeous and Sharon was amazing and sprayed our flowers continuously before my ceremony for it was outside and she didn't want any of the bouquets to welt. Brooke did such an awesome job at designing the seating chart to look like a Tiger Player's rooster as well as designing our table name tags. Every email was answered promptly. I promise as a recent former Bride that if you let go and let these ladies work their magic you won't be sorry. Give them your ideas and them run with it and every thing will turn out perfect :) There is honestly not one thing I would go back and do over. I do wish I could go back an relive the whole day over for it was just fabulous!!!!

When I first walked into Elite Events boutique downtown Toledo, I knew we were on the same page! They have a chic vibe and great ideas. The girls are wonderful to work with, even under last minute pressure (on our part). They know what needs to be done and do it. The centerpieces they created fit perfectly for our theme and we received so many compliments on them! Definitely one of the best in the area and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Nikki and all of the girls from Elite Events are the best there is. They took care of all of the little details that I never would have thought of to give us the most special day possible. They designed the most beautiful reception that blew our guest away. They took our vision and made it a reality! They are your one stop shop. Simply the best!

I engaged Elite Events every step of the way, they assisted with everything from save-the-dates, invites, flowers, coordination, and implementation on Brian and I's big day.
I didn’t realize how much I leaned on them until the weekend finally arrived after over a year and a half of planning. I couldn’t count how many times I heard from family and friends in the wedding and thought to myself—I don’t know what I would do without them. From keeping our bridal party on time and making sure everything and everyone were organized to the moments I almost lost it walking down the aisle—Kati McDougle and team filled the air with serenity.

I am a perfectionist to the last T. When I began planning our wedding, like most brides, I started with magazines. In The Knot Ohio 2012 Fall issue I fell in love with a featured wedding planned by Elite Events from Toledo, Ohio, so I contacted Nikki Wolfe, owner and lead designer of the Elite Events and set up a time to meet in person. From the moment that I walked into their studio I knew that I had found my planners. I met with Nikki and Kati, event coordinator and manager, and we hit it off immediately. They are young, creative, full of event expertise and open to any ideas. They cater to whatever your needs may be. I met with them several times in person over the course of 9 months, but we did most of our communicating over e-mail. They provided me with a custom ‘mood board’ once I gave them a good feel for what I wanted for the wedding. Nikki also created custom save-the-dates, formal invitations, rehearsal dinner invitations, and programs for the wedding. Elite Events also has an in-house florist Sharon who creates the most extraordinary arrangements, they are truly pieces of art. The entire wedding weekend was full of amazing details that brought my vision to life. The weekend went off without a hitch (or at least not any that I knew of!) The ladies of Elite Events handled anything and everything that was thrown their way so that we could enjoy ourselves on our special day. My husband and I keep saying that we wish that we could live the weekend over because it truly was the best ever. Because of Elite Events, my wedding was PERFECT!
Elite Events (Nikki, Melissa, Kati, and Sharon) made planning my wedding an enjoyable, stress-free experience. I am somebody who gets anxious about details and making everything perfect, so I knew that I needed an event planner to help coordinate my wedding so that I would not get lost in the stress of the big day. Elite Events was the perfect solution. From the first meeting, I knew the ladies would do their best to ensure we would have the wedding that was just perfect for us. Elite Events provided us with a fantastic list of recommended vendors, a budget that met our needs, linen ideas and products (which we LOVED!), flower design and set-up (BEAUTIFUL), and excellent day-of coordination. I can not express how much stress Elite Events eliminated from my life. I am forever grateful that Elite Events not only made my wedding look beautiful, but they allowed me to enjoy the entire planning process and live in the moment of the wedding day! Simply put, Elite Events is AWESOME!
They are wonderful to work with!!! They really got the job done took soo many pics all night and Bridget was great in dealing with other issues that came up that wasn't her job, she really took care of things and made me feel so much better! Everyone talked about how great our photographers were!!
Elite Events needs to be the first stop in your wedding planning! They get your vision for the wedding, then implement it in design, flowers, printed material, all the while staying within your budget and adding little details to make it the day of your dreams. They take the work and worry out of the planning and especially out of the day of the ceremony! I never dreamed a wedding could be so easy! It was exactly what we wanted and more, thanks to the creativity and hard work of Elite Events!
As I was planning my daughter's 1st birthday party, I had no idea what direction to go in. Not being a creative person or one to that makes decisious quickly, I turned to Nikki's professional opinion to help me get started. I just wanted to get some ideas for the party, not have her plan the party for me. We sat down for a one hour consult that went beyond my expectations. Nikki provided me with amazing ideas for decor, rooms setup with my home, food ideas, and the best bakery to use for our daughter's first birthday cake. And I could bounce ideas off of her to see what has worked and not worked in the past.
When Nikki left, I felt ready to plan her party. We set a theme, decided on decor, and was provided with tips that truly helped plan and run the party smoothly. Without her help, I would have been at a loss.
For the party, Elite Events provided the table linens and the backdrop for the desert table that truly made the entire party. She came two days before to set up the linens and the backdrop. Even though she did not coordinate/plan the entire party, the party would not have been a success without Nikki. I am truly grateful to have utilized her in the planning of my daughter's 1st birthday party!!
I used Elite Events for my wedding on 10/13/12. I utilized their services for Event Coordination and for Custom Print Design. My save-the-dates, RSVP cards, invitations, and wedding programs could not have turned out better! I got so many compliments on them. Elite Events also helped me with coordinating my event up to two months out, all the way through the day of. What a relief it was to have them there on the day of my wedding! At the time of enlisting their services for Event Coordination, I had done the majority of my own planning. If you are one of those DIY brides, I'd highly recommend that you have a team like Elite Events to at least assist you on the day of your big event. They were there to take care of last minute things, prepared a detailed timeline of events, and were there to answer any questions between family, other vendors, and bridal party. Thank you!

As the bride and groom, it was the best day of our lives! Our family and friends have remarked that it was the best wedding they had ever been to! Nikki (creative designer) and Kati (business manager) are the dynamic duo, making sure you get those stunningly creative details (that I’m sure you look for on Pinterest) while helping you work around real world constraints. They make it happen! Not only do they steer the planning process, they offer exclusive, in-house linen and floral services that will blow you away! Sharon Johnson, Elite Events’ exclusive florist, is a rock star! She was caring and considerate of my vision and absolutely blew me away with how beautiful everything was. All of these ladies made our wedding day happen as it did! I never had to worry about the clock or details during the wedding much at all, which is how it should be because you won’t want to miss those moments thinking about you and your husband…not whether cake will be wheeled out on time. They were a tremendous blessing to me, my husband, and our parents. Most importantly, you brides will have FUN planning with these ladies. They will be forever friends to me. I was in grad school full time and worked part time throughout my engagement, and hiring Elite Events opened up time aside to plan the wedding without feeling overwhelmed and exhausted. I had Elite Events do all my flowers. They were absolutely gorgeous! I couldn't have asked for anything more. It was everything I had imagined. Nikki (the owner) is very talented at what she does. I wanted my wedding to be exactly what I wanted but if I needed Nikki's opinion or needed her to organize my ideas. She did it with great ease and great design ideas. When it came to the arrangements my flower arrangements I met with Sharon (the florest) I told her my ideas and she went to town with great excitement. Sharon loves what she does and it shows. She made incredible centerpieces. But what my absolute favorite was my bouquet. I wish it would have stayed alive forever. It was incredible. She put my ideas into my wedding and it was exactly what I wanted. Love Elite Events and I would recommend them to anyone who wants a day worry free and breathe taking design.

I came to Nikki for help with my mother's wedding. She did a spectacular job on centerpieces and all of the bouquets and boutionniers. She helped us find a wedding official in a short period of time. Nikki does a fabulous job and was there to help with as much as we needed her. She had great ideas and works hard to make your dreams come true!
Joseph was amazing through the whole process! Starting with our engagement session he was able to put us at ease and assured that he would be able to capture all the special moments of our day without being "in the way". I worked with Nikki and her team throughout my entire planning process. From our initial meeting Nikki completely understood what I had in mind for our wedding and made it a reality, far better than I could have ever imagined. Nikki and her girls are the best of the best. We planned a wedding where the bride and groom were in Texas, brides family was in new York, and the wedding was in port clinton. She was so organized, prompt, and listened to every detail my sister wanted. Everything went off without a hitch on the day of. I would use her to plan my wedding in a heartbeat. Seriously, not sure what we would have done without her. She is the best.
We hired elite events for our daughters wedding in September. We couldn't have been happier with their 'day of' services. Starting a few months out they helped with all the organizing of our vendors and ran the rehearsal. Because they took care of every detail on the wedding day my husband and I were able to enjoy the special occasion and our guests.
