We had an incredible experience working with Kaitlin from Elle Loren! Although our package included only partial planning and final execution in the last three months, our planner, Kaitlin, was by our side from the moment we booked. She was always responsive to our questions and offered creative solutions for any challenges we faced. She is incredibly detail-oriented, organized, knowledgeable about our venue, and endlessly thoughtful and supportive.
We planned a Chinese-Western fusion wedding with some unique activities, and Kaitlin managed everything seamlessly. Before our wedding on October 3, 2024, we couldn’t fully envision how all the details would come together. But Kaitlin and her team executed it flawlessly, with everything flowing perfectly. Her team could always find a piece that was missing and was very proactive in mobilizing our wedding party to help and move. We also had some decorations we weren’t sure how to place, so we left them in their boxes. To our surprise and delight, every piece was thoughtfully hung in perfect spots we hadn’t even considered.
Kaitlin and her team also went above and beyond by assisting our family members and guests who don’t speak English well. They worked seamlessly with all our other vendors, ensuring everything came together perfectly. After the wedding, they thoughtfully packed up our decorations and personal items from the large venue. We were also pleasantly surprised to find that the hot oil wedding favors, which we had not figured out how to display, were beautifully arranged for our guests to take home. We truly couldn’t have pulled off our wedding without Kaitlin’s help, and we highly recommend Elle Loren to anyone planning their special day!

I wanted to leave this review from a Vendor perspective (photo booth). We work 100+ events/year and this was by far the most organized wedding we have been a part of. We were able to first meet the team and have questions answered at a site visit walkthrough. Then as the date neared we were emailed all the information we needed including timeline, vendor contacts, layout, wifi, etc.
The day-of went incredibly smoothly as well! We highly recommend using Elle Loren & Co. to anyone considering!
Kaitlin did such a wonderful job! We used Elle Loren for partial planning and they came with so many great ideas, vendor recommendations, and excellent day of coordination! I originally thought I could plan my wedding without a planner but realized pretty quickly that I would need some help. I cannot recommend the Elle Loren team enough!! We primarily worked with Kaitlin for our wedding, and she was simply amazing. Super responsive, quick to jump in and coordinate where needed, and always several steps ahead to help us think through important decisions. Both my fiance and I have a hectic work schedule and Kaitlin was extremely accommodating when we needed to shift planning sessions. The vendors she recommended were fantastic and we truly felt like we'd hired a family to help bring our special day to life. Especially as we approached the 30 day line, Kaitlin and her team were very attentive and didn't miss a single detail (thank goodness, because I was missing things left and right!). On the day of, we felt so cared for and were able to enjoy the day without having to make any stressful decisions ourselves. Highly recommend especially if getting married at Dover Hall like us!!
When it came to start planning for our wedding, we knew immediately we needed a week-of planner. When we asked our venue which planner company they recommend, they said hands-down it has to be Elle Loren & Co. I was told that the expertise of this top-tier wedding planner company is unparalleled. From our initial consultation to the final send-off, the team exhibited a level of professionalism that was truly remarkable. They are subject matter experts, with an extensive knowledge base that spans across all facets of wedding planning.
Our planner, was courteous and informative, always ready to answer our questions with clarity and insight. Their experience shone through in their ability to anticipate our needs and offer solutions that were both creative and practical. Her communication skills were exceptional, keeping us informed at every stage of the planning process.
What stood out the most was their dedication to ensuring that our needs as bride and groom were always met. Our planner listened intently to our vision and worked diligently to bring it to life, paying close attention to the smallest of details. Their coordination was flawless, and they managed every aspect of the event with finesse and grace.

We hired Kerri for full planning. She was extremely responsive to all of our questions and concerns, even on nights and weekends. She knew our venue inside out and provided great recommendations as we went through the planning process. Leading up to and on our wedding day, Kerri and her team anticipated and calmed every worry we had. They kept us on schedule and allowed us to enjoy the day to the fullest. We could not recommend Kerri enough!
Kerri was amazing and made our wedding planning experience so enjoyable. Kerri planned both our rehearsal dinner/welcome party and our wedding day, and both went very smoothly. Kerri is very knowledgeable in the wedding industry and as someone who is very indecisive, she helped me make all the tough decisions. Kerri and the team at Elle Loren & Co are the BEST decision you can make for your upcoming wedding!
From our first meeting to the big event, Kerri was punctual, knowledgable, kind, and UNDERSTOOD THE ASSIGNMENT! She recommended the most incredible vendors, all of which blew us (and our guests) away! She acted as liaison between vendors and even got us specialty discounts. She handled and put out fires small and large, and did so with a level head and smile on her face. A professional to her core.
The wedding timeline was perfect and she kept everything running smoothly the day of the event. I find that most brides struggle to enjoy their wedding day due to stress. Not me! Kerri and her team made it possible for me to take a deep breath and enjoy every beautiful moment of the day we curated. She went so far as to play mom and bodyguard! Getting me to eat enough food, delivering me cups of water when I couldn't leave the dance floor, and saving me from any trapped conversations with guest!
I can't believe we could afford such a high quality wedding planner who made it a priority to work within out budget. I simply can't recommend Elle Loren & Co enough! Kerri you are amazing, we love you!!!
Kaitlin did such a fantastic job. The number of details she handled with such grace is mind-boggling. She dodged and ducked our indecision, our spontaneous reversal of already-made decisions, our idiosyncratic needs and the RAIN to make this an over-the-top day! My cup runneth over. So grateful to Elle Loren for executing our vision flawlessly with all the attention to detail. I felt so comfortable working with Kerri and knew she would be the calming force to my overanalyzing self to help ease my worries and enjoy the day. She listened to all my wild ideas and helped fine tune any design aspects to bring it all together. I knew from the start I wanted to put a creative spin by adding in extra antique touches to make guests feels like they were taken back in time. I so appreciate her support in incorporating all the personal details into our day and for taking the time to listen along and let me be a partner in the designing process. We both have such a special place in our hearts for the Virginia House and she understood my vision from the start. She was there every step of the way. Despite the severe thunderstorms and adding all the tents, her team really went into overdrive with the elevating the space for a beautiful evening. It’s one thing to plan for rain, but another for heavy lighting and wind. Thanks for all your help and being a sounding voice throughout this process. If you’re looking for a wedding planner/coordinator, you should 100% go with Elle Loren & Co. Kaitlin E. was an absolutely amazing wedding planner and we can’t speak highly enough of her! We live out-of-state and both have very busy jobs, so we were not able to be the most involved couple throughout the wedding planning process. Kaitlin always worked around our schedules and ensured that our wedding day was everything we wanted and more. She looped us in when we were needed and handled the other details perfectly (including coordinating with our many other vendors), significantly lightening the load of the wedding planning process. She was extremely communicative and responsive. She was great about sending reminders throughout the process to make sure we were staying on top of things. She was calm under pressure and helped navigate wedding day hiccups while allowing us to have the most stress-free day possible. Our transportation company let us know on the day of the wedding that we were down a bus due to issues finding a driver – Kaitlin and her team worked behind the scenes to make sure our guests made it there. It started raining just a few minutes before our ceremony and Kaitlin flawlessly executed our rain plan – she also reassured us that the rain would clear up for a perfect evening and it did :) I’m sure there was so much more going on behind the scenes than we weren’t even aware of, and we can’t thank her enough for that! The team at Elle Loren & Co. went above and beyond every step of the way and our wedding absolutely would not have happened without them. If you’re looking for the perfect wedding day, we unequivocally recommend working with this team!
Do not look any further, Kaitlin Everett with Elle Loren & Co. was outstanding! I truly do not think our wedding could've happened without her help. She went above and beyond at every opportunity to make sure our wedding went smoothly. We had a wedding ceremony on Friday, and large 230+ person reception at a private residence on Saturday, so the logistics of the weekend were complicated, and numerous! I was able to really enjoy everything and soak it in because I trusted her so much and knew she could handle anything. We had some big hiccups with a late vendor and major timeline shifts, but Kaitlin was able to smooth everything over and extend our night so we could enjoy at least some dancing! I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for a planner or coordinator. We just had Kaitlin as a 2 day coordinator and if there was one big thing I would change it would be to have her with us longer as a planner. It will change your entire experience and it is SO worth it. She was as essential as the band to our party! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!
Kaitlin was absolutely fabulous!! We probably had one of the more challenging weddings to plan due to our venue and non-traditional catering choice. Kaitlin worked tirelessly to make sure all details were covered. We had several vendor issues and problems arise along the way, and she calmly and quickly worked to resolve them all. I can't say enough about how much we appreciated her positive attitude and dedication to our having a SPECTACULAR wedding. On the day of the event, she and her team went over and above to make sure everything went well, despite the fact that almost half of the vendor team hired to come help set up didn't show (apparently they drove together and got in a car wreck). She was able to arrange for additional staff to come so that our service would not be impacted during the reception. She is a kind-hearted person, who couldn't be easier to work with. We loved Kaitlin!!
Kaitlin is a rock star of a wedding planner! We planned our wedding from out of state, and we truly could not have done it without Kaitlin's insight, expertise, and advocacy. Kaitlin is thorough and communicative, not only with us but with each and every vendor AND important member of the wedding team. She began working in depth with us about 2 months prior to the big day, but she was in regular contact with us before then and was able to alleviate all our planning stress. She was incredibly flexible with our schedules and made planning and meeting remotely a total breeze. On the big day, she, Zoe, and the rest of their team truly did make every last dream come true. We would recommend Elle Loren to ANYONE-- near, far, or in between!

We had an amazing experience with Elle Loren & Co. Working with Kerri was the best decision we made throughout the planning process. She kept us on track, always responded quickly to our many questions, and helped us navigate all of our vendor decisions. Not only was Kerri instrumental in everything leading up to the big day, but she and her team truly shined the day of. Many of our guests commented on the flow of things and how great/easy it was. It was completely seamless from beginning to end and my husband and I were able to fully enjoy the day without any worries or anxiousness. As the cherry on top, Kerri herself is a truly wonderful person and we really enjoyed getting to know her and work with her.
Elle Loren was AMAZING. Kaitlin accomodated all of my needs and my wedding day was completely stress free and turned out to be beautiful because of her. I can't think of one negative from the day and that is due to the amazing communication Kaitlin had, her organizational skills, and creativity she provided on the day. Kerri and her team at Elle Loren were amazing! I had a Thursday wedding and a party/reception Friday and both events turned out perfect. She had the best recommendations on vendors and helped keep us within our budget. Kerri was also very easy to communicate with via phone, text and email. Wedding planning with Kerri from Elle Loren & Co was absolutely fabulous! My wife and I spent approximately a year planning our perfect day with Kerri. She is always friendly and provides excellent advice. She took our ideas and turned them into the perfect day. On the day of, she and Nika, were on top of everything. My wife and I felt confident in Kerri and her staff’s ability to execute our ideas on the day of. They made sure we had everything we needed, checked in on us when it started raining right before the ceremony and were able to seamlessly shift our outdoor ceremony indoors at the last minute. Our wedding day was beautiful, and we credit that to Kerri and her amazing team.
We could not have been happier with Kerri & the Elle Loren Team! They were such amazing partners to us throughout the entire planning process. I can’t say enough great things about Kerri and her team at Elle Loren and Co. I got engaged in June 2021 and shortly after in August, my husband and I booked a wedding date of March 13, 2022. With only 7 months left to plan our wedding my husband and I both agreed that with our busy schedules we had to get a wedding planner. Elle Loren and Co was recommended to us, and after one phone call with Kerri we were sold. From start to finish, Kerri demonstrated her determination to fulfill my dream wedding idea to the best of her ability. She promptly addressed any concerns that I had, and did so with full transparency, so that we were in no way mislead. If an issue emerged, she tackled it with a positive attitude and ALWAYS had a backup plan. Kerri is extremely professional, fun, has great communication, and goes above and beyond for her clients with a very personalized touch. Any wedding is stressful on the couple to plan, but she was always at my beck and call to take weight off me and make the process as smooth as possible. She is an exceptional wedding planner to work with, and she became a friend of my husband and I’s in the process. I will forever cherish the relationship we developed with Kerri throughout the planning process and am so grateful we chose her. I HIGHLY recommend Kerri and her team to say the very least.
Elle Loren & Co was PHENOMENAL. My husband and I worked chiefly with Ari-Ahna, and she made our entire day possible honestly. She was so patient with me with every question I asked and every concern I had. She never made me feel needy, and she always knew how to work through a problem. Elle Loren allowed me to make a lot of the decisions I wanted to myself, and then also helped through the decisions I didn't know how to handle on my own. Ari-Ahna kept us focused with small goals throughout the year, and she was so sweet and kind throughout. Their services come with an account on Aisle Planner, an online service which was honestly the best. Using the online service, Ari-Ahna helped us maintain the guest list, the program of events/ timeline, the budget, and even the CAD design of the ceremony/ reception tent. On the day of the wedding, Ari-Ahna and her team of planners flawlessly helped us through the day and made me feel so relaxed. I could actually enjoy my own day, which was honestly invaluable! I cannot say enough about Elle Loren, and I cannot thank them enough for what they gave to me- the most magical day of my life. I would recommend them to anybody thinking about a planner- trust me it's more than worth it!
I cannot say enough good things about Elle Loren! Ari-Ahna's kindness, professionalism, optimism, and level-headedness kept us sane through three wedding dates and many unexpected challenges (thanks, COVID). She always kept us moving forward, and her advice was incredibly helpful . When our wedding day finally came, we were able to just show up and enjoy ourselves because we knew that we were in the best possible hands. It was a perfect day, and we couldn't have done it without the Elle Loren team!
Hiring Kerri and her team was undoubtedly the best decision we made in our wedding planning process. My husband and I got engaged at the very beginning of covid, so we waited several months before we could even think about planning. I was hesitant to start planning with all the unknowns, and I’m generally bad with details and was really stressed about all that wedding planning entailed. Once we had our initial call with Kerri, I felt so much better about everything. As others have said in their reviews, she has a wonderfully calm and confident presence. She’s kind hearted, enthusiastic, passionate about what she does, and truly has the patience of a saint. We hired her for the full planning service for two events, so we spent a *lot* of time with her over the 10+ months of planning.
A few details to mention:
- Kerri knows the BEST venues and vendors in Richmond. My husband and I were struggling to find a ceremony venue that we liked, and when she suggested Virginia House, we fell in love immediately. We have friends who are from Richmond and they had never even heard of it before, so it’s almost like a hidden gem. We never would have known about it if it weren't for Kerri. She also has relationships with so many vendors, and she is great at helping you figure out which ones are the best for what you’re looking for within your budget. Since we aren’t local to Richmond, it was also super helpful to know that she had worked with almost all of our vendors before, so she knew the people, their communication style, their prior work, etc. That alone helped alleviate a lot of my planning anxiety.
- She has an incredible eye for design. I am the kind of person who can look at a photo and know what I like, but I could never create it on my own or even have the words to describe my style. Kerri was able to listen to my ramblings and nail it. She’s also super responsive to whatever you like and what you want. Some people get worried that planners will drive too many decisions or push their own agenda, but Kerri was so good about giving her honest opinion about what would look best. I can’t tell you how many of our guests commented on how beautiful and tasteful our wedding was. I credit all of the design to Kerri, her team, and the vendors she helped us select!
- The weekend of the wedding, we had all hands on deck thanks to her team. They were so attentive and made sure the trains kept running on time. There were a LOT of moving parts, and all of the important things fell into place.
Bottom line: If you’re on the fence, know that the investment is worth every penny. She's a true professional who takes great pride in what she does - the ultimate craftswoman of wedding planning!
We were in the fence at the beginning of wedding planning about getting a planner but I know for sure I wouldn’t have been able to have my wedding without one! Ari-Anna was there for every question, concern, worry, hair problem, etc . I wanted a planner so my family and I could relax and really enjoy the wedding day and we did for sure. Ari-Ahna and her team were amazing, made sure everything was were it was suppose to be and truly helped my wedding day be the day I have dreamed about since I was a little girl. I would recommend Elle Loren &Co. To anybody, you won’t be disappointed!
THIS TEAM IS EVERYTHING!!! Honestly, I was hesitant about paying for a planner/coordinator, but it turns out it was the best decision we ever made, and this is solely because of the team we had!
Ari-Ahna and her assistants could not have done more for me! They were just fantastic!! Leading up to the wedding, they organized with all vendors for me which was a HUGE help!! Maybe if I didn't have a full-time job, I could have done it, but they were in constant contact with all my vendors and venue that I would have been so stressed if I had to be the one doing all of that. HUGE!!
Ok moving to the wedding day, they were ON IT! The only thing I had to worry about was myself and having a good time! I did not have to talk to one vendor the whole time, which was amazing. They sorted literally everything out for me. My fiance who (obviously) was not too much involved in the planning or anything agreed that we could not have made this day happen the way it did without these ladies! They made all the small decisions for me (with my go-ahead) and they just knew exactly what to do. Example: the welcome table from the venue was way big for what we needed it to be, so they took our fans and fanned them out to make it look stunning and intentional.
I literally had 0 stress or worries the day of, and ladies, that is EVERYTHING. If I had to do the things they were doing, I would have been overwhelmed and stressed for sure, and I doubt any other team would have been able to pull off what they did.
Plus I haven't even mentioned their personalities, talk about the nicest people I have ever met in my life. Poor things are being bossed around all day and I never saw any of them without a smile on their faces. Felt like we were all besties from the first time I talked to them.
Love them so freaking much, please hire them because they could not have been better to make my day perfect, stress-free, and beautiful!

Hiring Kerri from Ellie Loren & Co was the easiest (and best) decision I made for our wedding. She was so responsive and helpful every step of the way. Confused about your bridal party order at 10PM? She's got you. Frantically trying to figure out napkin folds? Suggestions at the ready. Showing her the rental pieces you got for the reception? Boom! Email 25 minutes later with potentially coordinating items. She's incredibly easy to be around - her presence was a comfort. I am a notorious planner - the person who coordinates everything for everyone - and I didn't have to lift a finger or make a decision day of. It was absolutely perfect. Grateful for her and her team (who mid-reception helped me pin my hair back up in the bathroom!). I'd get married all over again just to hang out with Kerri.
Hire a planning team if you are on the fence because it is worth every penny and if you are in VA then all the more reason to leverage the expertise and partnerships of Elle Loren & Co. Kerri and her team are incredible! We were their first couple to postpone with COVID since our original 4/4/20 date was two weeks away when everything shut down. Multiple postponements (500+ days later!) and a transition of team members we did not miss a beat. Their communication continued to surpass our expectations to keep us organized and on track when there are endless decisions. Their expertise was so helpful more times than I can count to help us make (and re-make!) decisions. Ari-Ahna worked with us for our final date and was phenomenal from start to finish. She ensured everything was executed as we envisioned and then some. The weekend and day of she was SO flexible to make every moment magical or adjust to other vendor requests and changes. Your day will be everything and more if you go with Elle Loren & Co!
Working with Elle Loren & Co. is always a pleasure. Ari-Ahna is always organized and professional and goes above and beyond to keep all of the vendors informed and prepared for anything. As the DJ, communication with the planner is key to the night going smoothly and with Elle Loren & Co. running the show, we are always confident that the couple will have a perfect night! We highly recommend them for a memorable wedding day!
I can't imagine our wedding without Elle Loren & Co and, especially, our head planner Ari-Ahna. Ari took care of every minor detail and kept us organized throughout the planning process. Every aspect of our wedding day was flawless and totally stress free. 10/10 would recommend to anyone in search of a planner!
In the end, we had a gorgeous wedding and everything came together just as it was supposed to, much of it thanks to the hard work of Ari-Ahna and the Elle Loren team. However, I must admit that I was not always sure if the day would turn out as it did. Ari-Ahna put in a tremendous amount of work, I do not doubt that, however communication was often jumbled, delayed, and disorganized. If you are a bride who has as type A as me, you may notice details on your wedding day that were missed, requests from months ago that were never relayed to the vendors, and changes in the timeline that were never finalized. While these details and those not mentioned don’t matter in the end, and your day will be wonderful, it is frustrating and unprofessional for an expensive wedding planner. Despite these issues, I believe that Kerri and Ari-Ahna of course want what’s best for their couples, and will hopefully learn from prior experiences to do better in the future.
Ari-Ahna from Elle Loren & Co was our day-of wedding coordinator and she and her team were fantastic! We were confident that we were in good hands going in to the big weekend. blush events made my wedding day one of the most beautiful and well organized days of my life. We worked with Lyndee as our day of coordinator, but she took over planning about 2 months out which was a god send. From the very beginning she was patient and calm and so responsive to my never ending questions. She effortlessly put together every detail and vendor and created a timeline early on for me to help ease my wedding anxiety.
Fast forward to the week of the wedding, I have bacterial bronchitis and have lost my voice. Lyndee and her team reassured me every step of the way and at our rehearsal she made sure to ask my favorite kind of tea to have on hand for my day. There wasn’t a second of the night that I didn’t have a hot tea on hand which was a lifesaver and her ability to anticipate my needs in partnership with the caterer exceeded my expectations tremendously.
No my to mention that Lyndee and her team made all of my wedding dreams come true. We did not have a florist and I have buckets and buckets of greenery to her and they decorated the venue so beautifully I was blown away, you would’ve thought a florist was there. The timeline Lyndee created allowed so much time for our first look pictures and family/wedding party pictures that we actually had extra time to hang around and enjoy the day, there wasn’t a second we felt rushed or stressed.
Our day was so incredibly perfect in every way, and it would not have happened without Lyndee’s devotion, skills and passion for her work. SHE IS PHENOMENAL and I am forever grateful for all she did for us.
We cannot say enough good things about Kerri but we’ll try our best! As a full time and then some working couple, we worried about planning our wedding over the course of 18 months. Our event required a day-of coordinator and we reached out to Kerri from their preferred vendors list. From the first, Kerri treated us as one of her own and exhibited the greatest professional poise we have ever experienced. Her eye for detail, her delicate clear approach to communication, and genuine warmth was the unseen hand that made our day perfect. We absolutely cannot thank her and her team enough and hope Kerri becomes a celebrated name throughout the DMV.
Kerri was AMAZING! Our wedding day would not have gone nearly as smoothly without her help. She and her team were able to take my wedding day vision and recreate it flawlessly! My husband and I were married on October 19, 2019 and I can honestly say it was the best days of my life mainly due to Kerri and her team. Kerri was one of the very first vendors we booked and I am so glad we did. We booked her a year in advance (full package) and she helped us with vendor selections, dealing with my mom (a job in itself), and gave us very helpful suggestions along the way! Once wedding week came, she took control of everything. Everything on wedding day was perfect - I know everyone says that but it truly was! From flowers to how the venue was decorated - she knew exactly what we wanted and how we wanted everything to look. I can’t thank her and her team enough for everything they did for us that day! It went by so fast, I wish I could turn back time and experience it all again!

We used Blush Events for day of coordination and they were so helpful! They did great with helping us with decorating and kept up with following the schedule (without making it stressful for us). They were also very calm which made it less stressful for me (I’m a really anxious person). We definitely recommend!
Lyndee & Jenna both did a wonderful job making everything stress free and handling every request big or small. Lyndee even did an excellent job as a “bouncer” when we had a few wedding crashers! The day went by so fast but I felt relaxed the entire time knowing my husband and I could both just enjoy ourselves.

Kerri was willing to meet with me before my engagement, because I knew it was coming, and treated me like a rockstar from day one. I was afraid she'd think I was crazy, but on the contrary, she was eager to meet with me and excited for what I knew would be my upcoming engagement! She listened to my description of my "perfect day" and sent me vision boards, photos, ideas, and set me up with a DREAM TEAM of vendors who truly understood what I wanted and executed it to a T. Not only was she organized, efficient, and super friendly, but her pricing was incredibly reasonable compared to what other local planning services had quoted me. When I got engaged officially about a month later, she was one of the first people I texted, and she was happy to celebrate with us!
Kerri met with me and my mom multiple times prior to the wedding to discuss and plan, and made site visits/vendor meetings with us as well. All of Kerri's contacts are true professionals at what they do, and I knew that any vendor she recommended to me was one that I could trust in 100%. Kerri was always available by email, text, or call, and made me feel like I was in good hands all along the way. Even the silliest of questions (every bride has them!) was answered quickly and thoroughly, and with no judgment. ;)
Where Kerri and team truly shine, though, is on the day of. The entire bridal party had a thorough timeline of what to do and where to be. Each moment was planned and timed, and Kerri had a team on the ground to coordinate vendors, so my bridal party and I were truly able to relax and enjoy the day (and trust me, "relax" is NOT usually in my vocabulary). In truly miraculous fashion, not a THING went wrong (that I know of!), nothing ran late, and the wedding really was smooth sailing from start to finish. At the reception, whenever I needed something (my phone, I had a question about where the restrooms were, etc.) either Kerri or one of her angels was at my elbow to help. When someone stepped on my skirt and popped my bustle button off, Kerri was immediately there with a (jeweled!) pin to fix me up. At the end of the night when I told Kerri I needed to go upstairs, she said "Oh no you don't! We have your clothes down here and can get you changed." I didn't have to walk upstairs on tired feet in heels! Hallelujah! When my parents said they needed to get gifts together to take to the car, again, Kerri said "Absolutely not! We'll gather them for you and load them up!" At every turn, we were TAKEN CARE OF.
So many people told us either during or after the wedding that it was the most beautiful wedding they'd ever seen, and Kerri made it happen. If you take anything away from this review, I hope it's that KERRI IS YOUR GIRL. If you're wedding planning in RVA, I truly can't recommend her enough. She will feel like a friend guiding you through what can be a very stressful time, and will ensure that you really do have the happiest, best day to start off your forever!

Kerri did such a wonderful job coordinating our wedding. My husband and I had a short engagement and I, frankly, didn't have the time I needed to put together my dream day. Being a former event planner and VERY Type A perfectionist, my expectations for my wedding planner were off the charts. Our meeting was by chance as I never expected to hire a wedding planner and now wondering how our perfect weekend would have ever happened without her guidance.
If you understand event/wedding planning, you will know that one of the greatest gifts of the organizer is a calm demeanor. From moment one I had a lot of anxiety, ignorance around wedding planning and general resistance to the process. I either wanted to not make a decision or be in complete control. Kerri's greatest gift is her flexibility and calm presence. She and I would often talk very late at night for her since I was planning the weekend from the West Coast. She has never failed to answer my text, phone call, email or instagram share within moments. Kerri calmed me when I felt as if my decisions were wrong. She strategized with me when Dorian (the storm) was headed towards my outdoor event. AND she made me laugh and feel smart, beautiful and justified in my decisions.
A wedding can be a very intense and overwhelming process and you need a rock, a stable individual to charter the ship. Kerri and Blush Events IS THAT LEADER. We hired Kerri and Blush for their full package and every dollar spent was well worth ALL of the work she did, I actually don't think she charges enough.

At first I didn't think that I needed a wedding planner/coordinator but I am so thankful that I changed my mind and found Kerri! Kerri was an absolute life saver! The weeks leading up to my wedding she was constantly helping me solve whatever last minute problem arose. The day prior to the wedding she ran our rehearsal and made sure that everything was ready to go. I was able to spend my wedding morning relaxing while I was at ease that Kerri and her team had everything under control. Kerri Buster and Blush Events were the absolute BEST throughout the entirety of wedding planning, throughout the week leading up to the wedding, and of course—during the big day itself. The entire staff was helpful, warm, and made you feel like every one of your wedding problems was their wedding problem.
Why we booked: Having lived in Virginia for only a few short years and with family predominantly in California and New York, we were very overwhelmed with the task of planning a wedding ourselves. We didn’t know locations, vendors, contacts, or any of the small details that go into planning a wedding. This is where Kerri and Blush Events stepped in. She had a plan, resources, and a perfectly organized structure. To say that she helped bring stress levels down immediately would be a vast understatement. Every time we had a moment of panic, she was the voice of reason and a simple reply of, “I’ve taken care of it, don’t worry,” was more than enough to put us at ease!
Planning Process: Kerri was there every step of the way. Think of that super organized best friend that you had growing up, who was always on-time and always on top of everything—that was Kerri. Throughout the year-and-a-half process, Kerri helped to organize contracts, suggests vendors—photographer, videographer, florist, cake, DJ, etc.—and most importantly, keep us on time with everything that needed to be completed. Her experience in the Virginia area was truly unparalleled and the resultant wedding was clearly an example of that. Not a single vendor she suggested let us down and better yet, they each overwhelming exceeded our expectations. She never pushed a particular vendor, but gently presented who she felt was your best bet. She was never wrong, not in the slightest. Most importantly, Kerri was always there to lend an ear, bounce ideas off of, and to keep us on track. Because of her, everything was perfect!
The wedding: Weddings can be a very stressful day. With Kerri’s help, there was absolutely ZERO stress from myself, the bride, or anyone else involved in the wedding. She helped to organize day-of lunches for the bridal party that I know absolutely saved my wife! As she says, “All I did was eat, drink, laugh, and NOT STRESS!” Kerri went above and beyond to make sure everything was set-up, everything looked great, and everything was exactly where it needed to be—all while we were personally getting ready in the background. She was always friendly, perfectly polite, and always looking to go the extra mile to help. It was with her helping hand that the wedding went as perfect as it did. She never missed a detail—from organizing the processional for the ceremony, managing the first dance, helping my wife with her bustle mid-reception to the small details of making sure I always had a gin-n-tonic in my hand and everything was packed up on the bus home without us needing to ask!
Overall: Pure and simple, if you are looking to hire a wedding coordinator in the state of Virginia—you absolutely must hire Kerri and her team at Blush Events. She was on point, always available for a conversation, and there when the stress levels got a bit too high. She was not only a wedding coordinator, but truly a best friend throughout the entire process and on the day of. I truly think without her encouraging advice and calming demeanor, the wedding preparation would have been much more stressful. She was worth every cent we paid and more—I cannot recommend her enough!
So, I found Blush Events here, on The Knot. Kerri was the first person I spoke with and after that initial phone call and all of the other wonderful reviews, I knew this was it. I'm certainly glad that I went with them. They took care of every single thing and I had no cares in the world on the day of the wedding! I didn't even have to think about where my drink was - they always had one waiting for me. To say they are professional and great at what they do is an understatement - they are the absolute best at what they do and you will not regret bringing them into your wedding in the slightest. To have Kerri and her team lead us through the wedding process and then through the wedding itself was a breath of fresh air. I couldn't have done this without them and I guarantee you wouldn't want to do it without this team either. My husband and I immediately fell in love with Kerri when we were first interviewing and meeting with wedding planners in the area. She was warm, kind, patient, attentive, detail oriented, and very flexible from the get-go. The fact that at the time, we were expecting a 350+ multicultural guest count did not seem to deter her. She seemed to already have extensive experience working with multicultural/interfaith and large weddings, which is hard to find in Richmond! Hands down one of the best decisions I ever made was hiring Kerri as my full event planner and coordinator. I was in medical school during this time so it wasn't easy to cater to my schedule but Kerri made these past 1.5 years leading up to our wedding day so smooth and memorable!

She will stand up for you and fight for you to get exactly what you want with other vendors, while stile maintaining the utmost level of professionalism and kindness. While she respectfully and effortlessly supports any style or theme of wedding you are envisioning for your big day, she excels in producing and coordinating fine art weddings. She knows many of the best and highly trusted wedding vendors in the central VA area and was able to help me acquire my dream team of vendors for my wedding day. What's even better is that Kerri understands that a dream team doesn't necessarily have to break the bank or compromise your budget- she always gave me all of my options so that I could make the picks that were best for me.
Kerri is super organized, composed, and always 2 steps ahead of the game. She was on top of communications with vendors, answered my million questions (emails, texts, calls) right away, and even met with our families a couple times to answer their questions (we have two super big, involved families and Kerri handled every interaction and request with such patience and grace!) Needless to say, our wedding day (from a planning and details standpoint) was executed so beautifully by the Blush Events team and we continue to receive endless compliments. This review wouldn't be complete if I didn't share a shoutout to Lyndee, one of the Blush girls who also happened to be the venue coordinator at my venue (Tuckahoe Plantation). She was amazing and made sure everything flowed as smoothly as possible on the venue side of things!
Being a super type A, detail oriented person, I rarely come across others who share the same level of attention to detail that I do, but I can confidently say that Kerri possesses this trait and goes above and beyond for her brides to the point where I am still having wedding planning-withdrawals! I would recommend Kerri to any friend and even stranger because she is truly amazing at what she does.
If you are on the fence about hiring a day of coordinator, DO IT! Blush events absolutely took all of the stress out of our day and we could not be more thankful to them. Lyndee and Grace were amazing and made sure our day was one for the memory books. They coordinated with vendors in the weeks leading up to the event and more importantly calmed our nerves on the big day. It is obvious that they have a ton of experience and really care about their clients. 10/10 would recommend!

The best choice I made when planning my wedding was hiring Kerri! I had a short engagement (3.5 months) and live out of state with a busy full time job so the thought of planning of wedding was very stressful. I felt immediately at peace after talking with Kerri and hiring her for full wedding planning services.
