First stop on our honeymoon was disneyland, we stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, and they surprised us with a goodie bag at check in to wish us a happy honeymoon. Room service was good. elevators were broke and a disaster to wait for one to come we took the stairs the entire trip.

My husband and I had to plan our wedding long distance (from Indiana!). When we compared prices of hotels near Disneyland (we wanted our friends and family to have a vacation in CA), this establishment got our attention because of their affordable yet complete wedding package. Details we loved about this location: 1. having a close proximity to Disneyland 2. having an exceptional breakfast buffet 3. having a great manager's happy hour 4. having a unique ceremony site (e.g., lion roar, bride's elevator entrance, bridge, fish pond, etc.) 5. having a complimentary wedding night stay 6. having a fantastic staff to work with 7. having cocktail hour and reception in banquet room 8. having excellent food and cake (included in package!) 9. having the business center with free printing (this came in handy for last minute wedding details!) 10. having discounted rooms for our family and friends 11. having a wonderful wedding coordinator (Sara K.)!!!

ting when it came to the food tasting. Their buffet selection was awesome! I had a hard time deciding so I chose three salads, three entrees and three sides. We're an easy going couple, but our standard for customer service is very high, especially for our wedding. The ease of working with them was great and even though they don’t have too many pictures online of weddings, I had a vision and they helped bring it to life. Overall we had a great wedding; we received such great feedback on everything, especially the food and the cake (that is huge for any bride). I was impressed by the level of service the day of the wedding (11/13/10). Their staff was so attentive to us; my glass was hardly empty before they offered me more of whatever I was drinking. If I had to do it all over again, it would be Embassy Suites -South hands down! It's rare to find reasonable prices, quality and great customer service like this. Everyone had such great things to say about the food, it was too much, I don’t believe we finished it all. Plus you get a complimentary suite the night of and just about everything else you would expect is included in their package deal. Worth every penny.

The catering manager was fantastic! Our reception was lovely. We had 2 large ballrooms with 43 tables and a very very large dance floor. The price was very reasonable.;The cater...

ing staff tried to take all the leftover cake. We of course wanted it and had some words with the kitchen staff who wanted to feed it to the workers. We let them have the already cut pieces, but we took home the 2 layers that were not cut into.

I really like my reception venue because all the staff was really nice, plus the Hotel has lots of green plants and waterfalls they also have fish, is a nice view.
