I have submitted RFPs to Embassy Suites in Norman on two separate occasions and I have never received a response. I am very disappointed in their lack of communication.

I would definitely recommend this venue for any wedding. Tony was fabulous in helping us create the most fabulous reception and went above and beyond for creating our dream. He was so much fun to work with and was awesome at helping us create the dream back drop that my daughter visioned behind her cake table. When we were first starting out a year ahead of my daughter's wedding date, we felt we could not afford this venue and went with another hotel in town. At the last minute, we had to change venues and were so fortunate to have another booking cancel which enabled us to book at the Embassy Suites. Tony was our superhero in working with us on the budget so we could have the food and drinks we desired. The staff (including Ken and Gregg), the rooms, and the food were all top notch and worth every penny of our weekend. Thanks to everyone at the Embassy Suites for a dream wedding weekend!!!

I have been trying for 1 week to get the wedding coordinator at this hotel to call or email me. It's pretty bad when someone is wanting to spend money at your facility and they can't be bothered to communicate with you. Let me take my comment back!! The coordinator called me back, very apologetic!! Because of my troubles he added some added items free of charge. Excited to see how this turns out!! Update on this venue!! The food was amazing!! The venue is beautiful!! But with all of this said it was not a good experience for us. We had our daughter's wedding & reception here on 10/25/14. The event coordinator was very difficult to contact, she didn't return phone calls from our vendors. On the wedding day, I (mother of the bride) had to get with vendors to show them where to set up because the coordinator would not call them back. During the reception an item that was on our order was not set out, the coordinator made a point to argue with me that it wasn't on our order instead of just taking care of it. My husband's iPad was stolen during the reception while the crowd was out of the room sending off the bride/groom. It was found 5 days later in the shipping/delivery department. I'm sure the only reason it was found was due to the fact that we were able to lock it down so no one could use it. It's very bad when you can't trust the staff that is taking care of your event!! We were overcharged for our hotel room, not charged the event rate that we set up. When I went to discuss it with the front desk, was treated rudely and told he couldn't do anything about it and I would have to call the Sales Office on Monday since they don't work on Sunday. About 2 hours later, he shows up with a corrected total. The General Manager wasn't onsite to take care of a lot of this but he did return phone calls and made every effort to make sure we were treated fairly, even offered to pay for a new iPad. All in all this was not a good experience!!!
