We used Embassy Suites for our room block during our wedding weekend in June 2023. It was so frustrating trying to accommodate a large number of guests within multiple blocks at Embassy, however Karina eased our stresses immensely! She was a pleasure to work with and helped us in so many different ways! Thank you for coordinating shuttle services to and from our venue, for promptly answering our emails, and constantly updating us as we solved problems together during our wedding planning process. Karina is awesome to work with - Ask for her!
THIS IS NOT A SAFE HOTEL. My wife and her friends had a gun pulled on them. Hotel staff could care less. Gangs were all over the hotel and ran all over the lobby yelling and screaming until 7am. Hotel staff didn't care. And based on previous reviews this isn't the first time. Floors in the hall way were dirty with spilled drinks, broken glass and food Bed sheets from the night before stayed outside in the hall way for a good 12 hours. There was a leak in the upstairs room that poured into the downstairs room. Very horrible and scary stay. Will be reaching out to corporate
We chose the Embassy Suites for our wedding guest hotel block and out-of-town guest reception sight unseen, and we made a very lucky choice. The hotel is beautiful, and guests told us that the rooms were nice and the breakfast was delicious. Our out-of-town guest reception was located in, and catered by, the hotel, and also went surprisingly well. Desserts were tasty and numerous, and they even were able to supply a few gluten-free cupcakes (and thought to put them on a separate plate such that they weren't contaminated, which is an idea that many restaurants are still struggling with). Embassy Suites staff stayed around clearing abandoned plates/cups and answering questions. They even found us boxes and helped box up leftover cupcakes at the end, even though that meant that we ran a few minutes over our end time. Definitely a solid choice for our guests!
My husband and I chose this hotel for our guests to stay in during the weekend of our wedding. It's a beautiful hotel with nice breakfast and amenities, however they should not deal with weddings or wedding room blocks. They don't offer anything special to the bride or groom (besides the complimentary room with 10 booked rooms) there is no special bridal suite, no complimentary champaign toast. The shuttle for my guests NEVER ARRIVED for cocktail hour, someone workin at the front desk had to drive them in a car that was sitting in the heat all day. The employee Kristen who handles these types of bookings never called me, always an email even when I specifically asked for a call back. It is now 3 weeks after our wedding and I still haven't received an apology for a missing shuttle service. Our guests also had complaints, my sister booked adjoining rooms months in advanced which did not happen, then when she called the front desk to ask to switch rooms they asked her why it wasn't close enough for her and wouldn't change it. We all have nothing but complaints from our wedding hotel.
This hotel is very beautiful, but we were not happy with the service. We used this hotel to book our room block for our wedding, and from the beginning things were a little off. We were not sent the initial contract in a timely manner which caused us to book only king bed rooms, and after our block was booked a few guests were told that there were no rooms left (when there actually were over 20 left!) This was just an extra headache for me to deal with during wedding planning time. However, the facilities themselves are very beautiful - great photo opportunities inside the atrium, easy to get to, and spacious suites.
