Heather and her team were absolutely amazing! Our wedding day went perfectly and I owe a lot of that to them! Heather was quick with communication. If I had a question, she would always answer me very quickly. She was VERY helpful throughout the whole process. If an issue arose, she thought quickly of a resolution. She listened to what me and my husband wanted and made sure our special day came to life as we had envisioned it. We wanted a welcome party at Embassy as well and Heather helped make sure it went perfectly and that we had everything we needed. We also hosted our Rehearsal Dinner here and it was simply stunning! It was outside in their courtyard area. It was great because they set up tables, cocktail tables, and even cornhole boards to keep the guests entertained. I had brought center pieces for the event and unfortunately the wind kept knocking them down. Heather acted quickly and was able to find a resolution for me. She was very helpful throughout the entire process.
Embassy Suites was so stunning! It doesn’t even need decor to show how beautiful it is! It’s an absolutely gorgeous venue. The guests went on and on about how beautiful it was! Not to mention how amazing the food was! Everything tasted so good and the guests were very impressed. There is not a bad meal at this place!
Overall I am VERY happy with my choice of venue. If I could do it all over again, I would still choose this place as my venue. I HIGHLY recommend Embassy for any of your wedding/rehearsal dinner needs!

Would choose Embassy Suites over and over again for our wedding!! The day was perfect and it was much to the credit of the Embassy suites staff. First of all, Sierra was wonderful throughout the whole process — such a pleasure to work with, communicative, responsive, and patient when I would flood her with way too many emails at times! On the day of, the staff was seriously so kind, joyful, and supportive and truly went above and beyond to make us feel happy, stress-free, and excited about our day! Sierra also provided us with a very helpful sheet that helped us to foresee how much we would be spending so from the very beginning, we knew what the bottom line was going to be even though we had been nervous that there would be some unforeseen costs. The only cost that confused us was the hotel room that we thought was “complimentary” but ended up with a bill for when we checked out but it was likely a misunderstanding on our part. Also, the food was delicious!! All around we are so grateful for the best experience at a truly beautiful venue!

If you want your vacation ruined and to be treated like dirt, stay here!
Our room flooded due to the room above us and two staff members told us it was toilet water. Our belongings had been soaked, we ended up throwing things away due to bacteria and mold concerns, we kept telling the staff that we had damages and didn't think we could salvage things with toilet water on them, and, other than changing our room, we just kept being told "someone will reach out." No one did, so I sent an email about our stuff being covered in toilet water. Three days after the incident, after our stuff was already thrown out, Christopher Browning emails me back saying it wasn't toilet water after all, it was from a leaking water line, but he didn't want to address our damages, so I brought the subject up again and got ignored for a month and a half. When I finally heard back from the Assistsnt General Manager Matt Paula, he told me it was "shower" water that flooded our room, so he wanted proof of damages, including incident reports, pictures, the physical items in his hand, receipts, etc. I sent receipts, descriptions, a detailed accounting of events, but explained that we were never told to file a report, or asked for photos, or for the wet items to be turned over to the hotel. Paula said we had no proof and he wouldn't cover ANY of our damaged items.
I asked Mr. Paula multiple questions about why the source of the flood water had changed three times now, why their staff who entered both rooms would lie and tell us it was toilet water the night flooding happened, why no one ever told us to make an incident report or to turn in our damaged items, why the staff seeing the damages wasn't enough proof, why my receipts weren't being accepted as valid, why did Paula only ask for picture evidence about ~45 days after we had put into writing that we threw the contaminated things away, why we were lied to about getting a refund for our room, and why would he expect us to keep items that we were told were soaked in toilet water when we still had five days of vacation left.
Not to mention, how do I photographically prove that items are wet with toilet water? Wet things eventually dry, so how do you "inspect" that to assess the damages? There were no rips or tears to show, and I don't carry around a travel microscope to look for fecal matter from toilet water. We acted based on what the staff told us. With multiple staff members seeing our wet belongings and not telling us to get photos or to turn the items over, how would I guess what Paula would want from us a month and a half later? And why would we keep biohazard covered items? That's an extremely unreasonable request when you know the flooding happened and we've been complaining about damages the entire time! I've never had property damage like this before, if the hotel had specific requirements for reimbursement, the hotel should have told us that the day of the crisis, not a month and a half later when they knew the items were long gone! The hotel has a Duty of Care that they severely neglected with us!
Mr. Paula refused to answer any of my questions and said if I didn't have photos and couldn't give him the physical items to inspect then he wasn't bothering with us any further. So, this is the hotel to go to if you want your items and vacation destroyed while the management treats you like dirt, ignores you, and then blames you for their lack of action or direction.

We worked with Sierra primarily, with assistance from Chris and Heather. They were responsive and helpful, and the details in the meal planning and set up were awesome. We had Sunny and Trevor as our managers day of, and our bar staff were sparkling. There are only a few things I would point out for anyone considering this amazing team and venue - one, there are very limited options in terms of materials and decor the venue has; as long as you are okay with that, it will save you tons of time, money, and heartache for design choices and rentals. We certainly were! Second, they will help you with organization and vendor contact, but a wedding coordinator service, at least day of, is mandatory to work with them. I was skeptical of a coordinator at first, but now I can say it saved my brain so much the day of that I could not recommend this more. Event insurance is also required personally, on top of the vendors and the venues' insurance, which we had to move quickly to get through our own miscommunication - I'd say that anyone can probably help with this if you read more closely than we did. The venue also offers an indoor ceremony space just in case of weather, but you will need to pay extra if you want them to set up both spaces as a "just in case" policy. We learned that day of, which it might've been nice to know beforehand, but not a big deal.
They were our caterers and bar providers as well, and every bit of the food was stellar, from a wide variety of starters and displays for cocktail hour and reception. The staff were incredibly friendly, we used the custom cocktail upgrade for a mocktail and cocktail of my choice, and they went above and beyond to meet that! The space absolutely speaks for itself - flawless, they keep it cordoned, the options for the bridal suite was perfect. If you want a beach-like fairytale without being on the sand, pick here. You will not be disappointed.

As far as the day of, our wedding went smoothly and the events staff worked incredibly hard to make all of the events we had for the weekend wonderful. The banquet team truly made our wedding a dream. The reason for not rating higher was the communication with the sales team. It was always a challenge to get ahold of them prior to the wedding for any questions related to their venue and several miscommunications throughout the process which made planning very stressful. We would often wait several weeks before hearing from them. Overall, the weekend was great which is what mattered and event staff was very accommodating!

We fell in love with Embassy before we were engaged, so we knew we wanted to get married there. We were so confident that we only toured the Embassy and secured our date very shortly after that. We had our ceremony on the lawn, which was perfect. We selected the Blue Heron room for the reception that has the ocean view, which I absolutely recommended. Everyone from the front staff to valet were amazing. I booked the oversized king suite to get ready (as well as stay the night before and night of the wedding) and it was the perfect size with all of the bridesmaid, hair and makeup people, and other vendors that came in- totally worth it and amazing views. We also reserved the Surf Crest board room for the groom to wait in and also for us to have a break after photos and before we were announced in. The food was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend this venue!

Everything at our wedding was amazing! It was the most beautiful day and everything was perfect. We did a destination wedding and never saw the venue until the week of our wedding, but I was pleasantly surprised at how well everything turned out. The communication between Heather throughout the planning process was frustrating at times and made the planning process even more stressful. However, she was great during our actual wedding. I tried to be forgiving as she seemed to have a lot of weddings and didn’t appear to have much help. I would recommend this venue to any future couples, but would be mindful of the lack of communication that you may receive.

We were looking forward to our beautiful wedding at the Embassy but unfortunately the space was not fixed in time for our wedding date and was still damaged due to the hurricane. Our event manager Heather was nice but confusing when she explained certain things to us, so it made the planning process frustrating. On the day of our wedding she never showed up and did not block off our space like she said she would so we had hotel guests walking through our venue space during the ceremony. Heather ended up giving us a discount for the damage, which was nice but the overall experience wasn't great.

We just had our Reception with Embassy Suites St. Augustine and it was SPECTACTULAR!! Heather and the team were fabulous ! Right down to the Ouzo shots for the Greek Dancing! The food was wonderful ! The Bar service was awesome ! The venue was breathtaking ! Our guests were so happy and had so much fun! From Tropical Drinks to Coffee in the Anastasia Ballroom it was magnificent!

My experience with Embassy Suites was fantastic. We had our wedding reception here on May 21, 2022. We couldn't have imagined a more perfect venue with the Anastasia Ballroom overlooking the beach and pier. The beachfront resort was a beautiful location for a destination wedding and guests had the opportunity to enjoy all of the amenities of the property and also explore downtown St. Augustine.
Thank you to Heather Benzal and Sonny for making the wedding of our dreams a reality. Their attention to detail was unparalleled and everything was top notch- the venue, service, food, and hospitality. This is a must see venue if you are looking for a great wedding location in the St. Augustine/ Jacksonville area!!!

Held our wedding and reception at Embassy Suites St Augustine Beach Oceanfront. Such a beautiful location and place to get married. We had a great wedding! The catering staff and ceremony cordinator were fantastic. Our contact Jessica did a great job with all of the pre-day planning before she left for another position. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. The hotel was very busy and a bit understaffed for the volume. Long waits at front desk and valet. There was a graduation event in the space next to ours that had a lot of people out in the common hallway. Made it a bit loud and difficult to get to the restrooms. Our room wasn’t where we were originally told it would be, and had some pretty bad stains on the carpet. Small details for sure. Everything else was spot on and fantastic! Great place to get married!

Our wedding was spectacular!! This location is perfect for anyone looking for a resort wedding without traveling to the Caribbean. The lawn overlooking the ocean is perfect for a beach wedding without the annoying sand. And the ballroom is stunning, there are no extra frills or decorations needed. All of our guests were raving about the resort and I am pretty sure some will be back for weekend trips of their own!
Jessica was so great to work with, she was so nice and understanding of all the updates due to Covid. She went over every detail with us to make sure our wedding went smoothly, which it did!! Cannot recommend this place enough!

This place was amazing! During COVID our other reception canceled on us TWO WEEKS before the wedding and when I called this place they were able to get us in and near our low budget. They were very accommodating and took care of all the food and lead the guests where they needed to be. The view of the ocean was spectacular! We were ten feet away from the water alone! It was just gorgeous and the food wasn’t half bad either.
