Emerald City catered my wedding a little over a month ago and the food and service was amazing! We got a ton of compliments on the food and service! I wish I had time to eat more of it, but it was amazing! The food was hot and delicious! We chose a BBQ Buffet and 2 late night snacks! We are so happy we choose Emerald City to cater our wedding!

Steve and Laurie from Emerald City are amazing! From the first meeting until the day of the event, they helped to make the process as easy as possible. They offer so many choices for meals there is something for everyone! Everyone at my daughter's wedding raved about the food. Planning a wedding is stressful.....having wonderful folks like Steve and Laurie certainly help make the process just a bit easier. If we had to do it again, I would not change a thing! Steve and Laurie catered our wedding and were absolutely great to work with! That were very attentive and responded to inquiries all through the process. We had a make your own pasta bar and our guests LOVED it! It was a great alternative to “traditional” wedding food-highly recommend the zoodles (zucchini noodles) as an alternative to pasta (we had both). Can’t say enough about these two and how they do business-very personal and caring. Thank you, Steve & Laurie for helping make our day what we pictured and wanted-so wonderful!

Our experience with Emerald City was fantastic! The entire process was pleasant and as stress-free as possible. Both Oz and his wife Laurie were very friendly and easy to work with. The food itself was a huge hit; our guests loved everything that was served (especially the coffee and tea station that came out with dessert!). Not only was the food great, but Emerald City definitely provided the greatest value for our small wedding (50 guests). Nothing but positive things to say about Oz & Laurie and Emerald City Catering.

I was so happy to find Emerald City Catering! From the start they were super friendly and accommodating! I appreciated the good communication throughout the planning process and on the day of the wedding. They made it really easy and not stressful! I was so impressed with all the food, from the very first tasting to what we finally selected for the dinner. I really appreciated their willingness to try cooking new things to incorporate my husband’s culture. Everything turned out perfect!

Steve and his wife were VERY nice. Our caterer (Brunch) bailed 4 weeks before our wedding and Emerald City graciously stepped in at short notice by the request of our previous caterer. Our food was cold at the tasting, which they promised would be different day of, since there was an earlier tasting they cooked for multiple tastings at the same time. Day of: service was SUPER slow: we paid for 5 servers and there was one. Food was cold, salad was just lettuce and potatoes were not what we chose. Head table was done eating before table one even got their food. Overall we are grateful but we were left disappointed and embarrassed

Emerald City Catering blew us away. Not only was the food delicious, it was fairly priced. The owners are SO responsive and wonderful to work with. They helped us create a package that worked for our smaller budget. They also have options to cater your bach parties, bridal shower, rehearsal dinners, etc. The food we chose was delicious and we loved having a plated service. We never could have never afforded catering from other big name vendors in the MKE area and are so thankful we found Emerald City 🙏🏻 100% reach out to them and go in for a tasting! If you’re looking for a catering company who accommodates all of your needs stop looking bc you have found the right place. From me having a covid wedding and my bridesmaid having food allergies and them working with my maid one on one to accommodate her to allow for her to eat the night of the wedding. They also were always very responsive when I had any questions I had especially while planning my wedding during a pandemic. They are very reasonably priced and food is delicious.

Emerald City did an absolutely amazing job catering our wedding! We were so nervous booking a caterer after having one already fall through, but we knew from our first visit that this would be a perfect fit! Oz was fantastic and created a menu we absolutely loved. Our guests loved the customizable options and we couldn't have been happier with our wedding day dinner!

From the moment I contacted Oz I knew I couldn't find a better caterer! He was incredibly responsive to all messages and he worked with us to create a custom menu. We did the pasta bar along with a regular buffet and everything was delicious, I'm just sad that I didn't get to eat more! :) The service was top notch and ran smoothly and my guests complimented all the dishes. I highly recommend Oz and Emerald City!

You can stop looking for a caterer right now. I promise you won't find better food, a better price, or better people. Oz was fantastic throughout our planning process and especially on the day itself. Hands-down the most responsive caterer out there; every time I'd send him a message he responded in no time, often within the hour. He also coordinated our chair rental and was just genuinely helpful through every possible stage. He made everything so much easier and took so much off of our shoulders that it made our wedding day much less stressful than it would have otherwise been. The only complaint I have is that I was looking forward to sampling other caterers before we made our decision. His food is SOOOOOO good that we stopped searching after our first tasting with him. The maple-walnut chicken...seriously, trust me.

Emerald City did a FANTASTIC job at catering our wedding. The food was delicious and I wish I could eat more of it! They were very thoughtful and on top of everything. I had ZERO worries on my wedding day with them and for that I am super grateful! Even with the venue being so cold and difficult, they were able to pull it off. I will definitely book them for my next wedding! lol :)

Absolutely incredible! Super easy and relaxed to work with, very nice. But most importantly we ordered food for 150 people but only had 100 people show up. People took plates that were overflowing and went back for seconds. Needless to say we didn't have one drop of left overs!!!

Let me preface this by saying that Oz was a very pleasant, nice guy to work with. He was always prompt with responding and very accommodating, but on the day of the wedding, when it actually mattered, and nearly 5k in the hole later - none of that mattered. We let Oz know how important it was to have a vegetarian and vegan entrees available for the wedding. No, I'm not talking about just preparing a few on the side for a couple of vegetarians, I'm talking about entrees. We did a tasting of the stuffed eggplant, and it was delicious! Oz would also whip up a few vegan entrees for the vegan guests. What we got: No grilled stuffed eggplant at all. Vegetarians were forced to eat salad and bread for their dinner. He made an 'executive decision' not to make the entrees we paid for last minute and instead served sliced pieces of raw, cold eggplant. We paid extra for Oz's staff to serve the meal from the buffet line, give out water for water service, slice the pies and hand out to people, and pour the champagne toast: What we got: - Guests had to serve themselves. - No water service, there weren't even glasses for water as we discussed. - Pies were ordered to be whole so that we could stick a flag in them to let guests know what they were eating - no, they were placed on the wrong table (they were supposed to be under a table that had a pennant banner reading 'TRY SOME PIE'), pre-sliced without ANY signage, and also without forks!! Guests had to eat mystery slices of pie with their hands. - Any banquet server knows that you should have a tray when passing out a champagne toast to guests. In this case, there was no tray, and Oz's 2-person staff passed out champagne glasses 1-2 people at a time, and delayed the toasts by nearly half an hour. A fed up guest that works in the restaurant business had to jump up and help them out. We let Oz know we wanted baked macaroni and cheese, not the regular mac and cheese, as we had sampled it before and didn't like it. What we got: The regular mac and cheese. Other strange things: - The food was ice-cold; and guests let me know. - The beef brisket was nothing like we had tasted - the cut of meat was all fat and people did not eat it. I know no wedding is perfect, but you'd think after missing out on an entrée we paid for (plus the vegan entrée!) the complete absence of service that we tipped out while signing our contract, bad food, and general oversights for almost everything we paid for, we'd at least have some sort of reimbursement, right? It's very obviously a disaster. No, we got $200 back. That doesn't even cover what we tipped for his staff's 'service.' Heed my warning now, folks! We overpaid and weren't really even sure what we were paying for in some cases, and we didn't get delivery on half of it. Treat your guests and your pocketbook well - steer clear.

Oz and Emerald City catered our wedding a couple of weeks ago and we would give them 10 stars if it were possible! Oz was one of the only things we did not have to worry about or second guess when it came to our wedding. Our gusts absolutely loved all of the food. They were always responsive and so incredibly flexible. We could not recommend Emerald City enough! You will not be disappointed.

oz and his staff were just amazing! From the first time we spoke through the entire process - Emerald City was top notch. The day of festivities went flawless and the food was better than even expected. Friendly staff and went way out of their way to make it easy for us. Will recommend them to anyone and everyone!

Emerald City Catering went above and beyond to make our day special. They never said no or even hesitated when we asked if something could be done/changed/added. They were incredibly generous and hospitable. Emerald City was kind, caring, friendly, personable, helpful, and accessible. Whenever I would email, I would get a reply usually in less than 1 business day. Our guests loved our meals. The food was hot, fresh, and tasty. I would highly recommend this business. Steve was knowledgeable & brought everything he needed to do a fantastic job. We were able to enjoy our evenings with no stress because of Emerald City. Thank you!

A huge thank you to Oz and Emerald City Catering for such awesome food and service at our wedding. I had so many people come up to us and tell us that the food was the best that they ever had at a wedding. People raved about the prime rib and chicken cordon bleu...the pork tenderloin with the apple chutney was also delicious. I would consider myself a foodie and extremely particular with high expectations..Emerald City exceeded them all. There was a slight miscommunication regarding silverware which they provided and unfortunately the silverware provided was plastic and I would describe my wedding as a more classy affair so that was only a slight disappointment. We were able to overlook the issue though since everything else that was provided was so fantastic. They are so willing to help to make the day go great Also, as most people know, wedding food is not always that great let alone buffets...but Oz at Emerald City did a fantastic job!! I cannot say enough positive things. He is an amazingly nice guy with awesome food and we are so thankful we went with him as our caterer.

OZ was the one part in planning this wedding that we felt truly stress-free about! He is so accommodating, kind, and aware of how much of a burden everything in a wedding can be and at the point where we expected everything to go wrong, he was right there to re-assure us that he was taking care of us. Not only is he a great person to communicate with, but his food was the talk of the party! Everyone I spoke with was so happy to get their plate and eat such carefully prepared food and it was all delicious. Even small day-of issues were handled professionally and with little to no stress to the bride and groom. I'll be dreaming about those breadsticks for years to come..

Price was great for what we wanted, and there was no doubt that we had plenty of food, as well as the excellent service! Couldn't have asked for a better person than OZ to work with :)

As a bride- every little detail makes you crazy. But Steve and his team went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was perfect. Firstly, every single guest raved about our food- which is exactly what you want to hear!! Not to mention that when our day of coordinator dropped the ball on little things like linens for our food and cake tables, turning lights on/off in our dining room, and plates and forks for when we cut the cake- Steve and his team was always there with a solution to make our day seamless and perfect! Beyond that they took it upon themselves to scope out the venue weeks before our event completely unprompted! I cannot say enough great things about this company and their commitment to ensure your special day is perfect.

Steve and his crew did a great job. He was very helpful in helping me plan for the wedding. He listened to what we wanted for the meal,and how my daughter wanted it to happen. They helped set up the venue as we were not able to do it. Overall I was very happy with Steve's catering service, Guest were commenting food was plentiful and tasty. I would use his service again. We had Emerald City catering do a pig roast for our wedding. It added the perfect touch to our wedding! Everyone loved watching/ smelling the pig roast during the day. The pig and the chicken were very good. Here are several quotes about the food "That was probably the best carrot cake that we have ever had." "The Mac and Cheese was wicked good!" (he is not even from Boston) Steve was very friendly and accommodating and easy to work with. I am excited to have him cater our 25th wedding anniversary!

We used Emerald City Catering for a fish fry at our wedding. Our tasting with Steve was very tasty, and we could tell that Steve would do a great job. He brought his fryers and things to our venue so that the food would be super fresh, and it totally was fresh and delicious with lots of rave reviews from our guests. The service was well done and professional. He was even kind enough to provide extra forks for our wedding cake later in the night. I would highly recommend him for other catering events and weddings.

I recently finished working on a three week long project with ECC and they exceeded every expectation of mine. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this company. The entire staff is friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Oz, the owner, will make your event stress-free and has a heart of gold. This company gives you the attention and comfort of a small business, but delivers the results of a multi-million dollar company. Your guests will rave about your event for months if you choose to work with Oz and his crew. You can trust Emerald City Catering with all of your events, from your small gatherings to your wedding day.

Oz is the best! His food is fantastic: simple, clean, and tasty. I'm from Kansas, and his BBQ is fantastic- both my fiance and I loved it. I don't know why he doesn't do more weddings, because it's perfect. The presentation is elegant and appetizing (smoked' chicken and prime rib and the Duchess Potatoes were beautiful!) He was so helpful to work with,made good suggestions, and was flexible. I can't say enough good things about him.

What a find! They were able to take on our wedding with only a month and half notice after our last catering service bailed on us. The food was delicious and everybody at the wedding loved it. Oz truly does a fantastic job of setting everything up and will not disappoint. This is the best catering service in town.
