Emerald Grande at HarborWalk Village

all of our guests could stay on property, to the FOOD! It was an experience I’ll never forget. I want to personally thank and mention Annette, emily and christy. They made my special day go off without a hitch. The rain was in the forecast all day, and I still got to have my beautiful ceremony outside because of how swift everyone was. Annette is exactly the kind of person you want as your coordinator. She has been doing this for years and she made sure everyone was in the right place, doing their job so that I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Emily is so responsive and helpful as well, I am from Texas so having a destination wedding can be stressful, they made it feel easy. My guests are still raving about the food as well, I personally have never been to a wedding where the food was actually good. But emerald grande knocks it out of the park with their catering and menu selections as well as behind the bar. So if you’re thinking about emerald grande, DO IT! Best day of my entire life!

I was being shown our reception area and asked where we would go for the fireworks and Annette tells me you never were having fireworks that ended last week, and i replied back “okay so why didn’t you tell me this because it was in the timeline?” She looks at my photographer and says i told her you weren’t having any and she agreed but why aren’t we communicating that to the bride who is paying?? Multiple times we had communication issues with Annette, she asked my photographer to tell me information on multiple occasions and that stressed me out and was inappropriate and a waste of money when we spend over $1000 on you to do that. Outside of fireworks i was told they had a private secluded beach, they beach was very much public and we were not alone so i was disappointed in that but everything was great and i really loved the venue

d I had definitely made the right choice! Every step of the way Emily gave me advice, answered my questions and even suggested things I wouldn’t have thought of to work on! Crystal was there to make sure our payments reminders were made and the payment plan they work with makes it so much easier on the pocket! At my rehearsal, Annette was 👏🏼on top of it👏🏼 We had some hiccups with everyone getting there on time but she made it work! Our dinner that evening at their bar and grill was delicious and so easy to get to! And last but not least, my WEDDING day! No words! Annette and all the staff absolutely killed it with making sure I had absolutely 0 worries as the bride! I had access to get ready on site. This venue really had it all! We had the best time, everyone raved about how delicious the food was. I could not have asked for a better day. It was like a fairy tale come true. The beach was where we got married and took a lot of our photos. It was breathtakingly beautiful! Thank you so much to all the staffing, Emily, Crystal and Annette for creating the dreamiest wedding a girl could ask for! nue! From the planning phases to the actual wedding day, the entire staff was SO on it, so helpful, gave amazing recommendations, & our day of coordinator Annette was AMAZING! We didn’t have to stress a single thing on our wedding day because we knew she was on it. Emily & her team at EG, know what they are doing & if you want a full service venue that knows how to WOW your guests, you must add EG to your list! The food was incredible we got SO many compliments about it, people LOVED the walkability with the Harbor Walk, the rooms are massive & top tier, & you truly can have an all inclusive experience at the venue without needing to worry about transportation throughout the weekend. Highly recommend inquiring about their other activities for your wedding weekend. We LOVED the bonfire on the beach with our group the Thursday before our wedding and doing crab island while we were there after our wedding. Our wedding was in mid October and was PERFECT weather with the most stunning sunsets. Our guests could enjoy the pool and beach without being too hot which was very important to us! I could go on and on about our experience, we are SO happy with how our wedding weekend went at the EG & their entire staff.

e how happy I am with having my wedding at the Emerald Grande. I loved it from the photos, and it was solidified when I went there in person. The emerald waters in the background next to the lighthouse just made it magical. Emily Owen was there for me with each and every step. She was quick to respond, answered all my questions, provided guidance when appropriate, made sure every detail was taken care of, and that me and my spouse were number 1 throughout the process/wedding day. Our ceremony was on the Captain’s Deck, the cocktail hour was in the HarborView Lounge, and the reception was in the HarborView Room. We did have some spectators by other guests since our wedding was on the Captain’s Deck, but they were all well behaved while they watched from afar. They just updated the HarborView Room a couple months before our wedding day and now it is SO open and spacious. We got so many compliments on how good the food was (we did the buffet, with the shrimp/scallops, stuffed chicken, loaded potatoes, mixed veggies, Caesar salad, and added a pasta bar (get the Alfredo!)). We stayed in the vacation rentals/condos, which made it super convenient. I enjoyed parking my car and not having to drive anywhere until it was time to go back home (especially with the crazy Destin traffic during spring/summer). We grabbed breakfast at the Grande Vista and it was delicious. We also ordered room service one day, which was convenient. We booked the bridal lunch and rehearsal dinner at some restaurants in the village so we could walk there. It also allowed for my guests to have things to do whenever there weren’t any wedding events for them to attend. I used vendors from their preferred vendor list, which really streamlined everything. They have long standing relationships with each of these companies, so it made it super helpful for planning. I also used Emerald Grande as my wedding coordinator. Annette is the usual coordinator, but she had a prior obligation on my wedding day. But she worked with me up until rehearsal and was super amazing and really provided help with making the final details. After that, Emily took over and didn’t skip a beat. It was worth every penny to have them as our coordinator. After everything was said and done, they made sure all of our stuff was in our condo so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. I am beyond happy that the Emerald Grande hosted my wedding. It was perfect. Go see it, talk to Emily, and I am positive you’ll be booking your wedding there too! THANK YOU!!

Annette also made sure we stayed on schedule, we were where we needed to be, and that we got to actually try our wedding dinner and cake (which was a big deal considering how busy we were). reception took place on the Captain’s Deck with the cafe lighting! Views of the ocean, very open, the sunset—amazing! The staff bartending and serving were extraordinary and we never went without food, water or drinks! Chandler and Susan are names I can remember! But every single one of them made us feel beyond special! The food! We didn’t get to do a tasting and just trusted that it would be delicious and we were right! It was the best dinner we had and our guests thought so too! They were also extremely accommodating to my groom with a mushroom allergy and my guests with a gluten allergy! Emily touched bases with me throughout planning and kept me on track with everything she needed and I needed to do! I wouldn’t have made it through planning without her! She also made sure we were happy with our rain out plan, which was communicated very well from the beginning! Communication and professionalism from Emily and her team was 6/5 stars! Annette, there are not enough words for her! She made sure every single detail was planned out and done seamlessly! The flowers could have caught on fire (they didn’t) and I would have never known because she handled everything without a flaw! Myself, the groom, family and bridal party didn’t have to do a thing! She set up, carried my shoes, bustled me, took down, and even out leftovers in our fridge! Annette is an actual angel on Earth! I will recommend the Emerald Grande to anyone who asks, always! 11/10, 6/5 stars! Just the best! Made this girls wedding dreams come alive!
