The DJ was just aweful. He didn't stick to the list. He played almost 95% latin music (even though I had asked for a 75% American Pop / 25% latin mix). He played a remix on our first dance song, so we didn't recognize it. He wouldn't play any of the songs we suggested and was argumentative with myself and the guests! There were absolutely NO slow songs...and NO wedding music. After I begged him to play american music, he played: "Smack that bitch up" and "back that ass up" after I specifically requested no songs with profanity. When I called him on it, he denied it! In addition, he placed the uplights in places with foot traffic (So people could trip!) and where there were already flood lights. I had to ask him to move them. In fact...I would say, if there was anything that could have ruined the night...it was him. He was truly awful.

They did such a great job. The entertainment is definitely what makes a party. We had the pleasure of having Javier as our DJ and he knew exactly how to hype the crowd. He introduced himself to us and assured us that if we needed anything he would definitely make it happen. We also had a tamborista that we used during the Hora Loca, it made it that so much more eventful. The Hora Loca was also done through EMG and it didn't dissapoint. Everyone enjoyed the party. We also got the Co2 guns and it was definitely probably one of the best moments my husband enjoyed. All this wouldn't have been possible without Rebecca. She was always there to answer any questions, and we will forever be thankful for how everything turned out.

TERRIBLE Unfortunately EMG was a fail. When we booked with them we were super excited - the girls that work there are wonderful and attentive and on point. We were randomly assigned a DJ and he disappointed us. Our guests did not know - but he played several songs that were on our DO NOT PLAY list as well as did not play over half of our guests requests. Also, they did not come with a working microphone and were several hours late. They also stopped the music in the middle of the party and it was dead silent for several minutes and announced a surprise that we had coming for our guests. MAJORLY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!

They are AWESOME! They were very responsive. They helped me through every process of creating a step by step song timeline. They answered any questions I had immediately via email. On the day of the wedding the DJ personally introduced himself to me and was very professional and fun! The lights were GORGEOUS and exactly what we wanted. Our names were displayed with a hologram in the pool which turned out great! Every song was played exactly as I requested and the volume and sound were perfect! I even asked for a special request and he was right on top of it! They even followed up the day after and a week after congratulating us again and wishing us well. Very sweet people and very professional. I highly recommend them to anyone planning an even in the Miami area.

I hired EMG to run the music at my March 2015 wedding. We hired the Latin trio to perform at the cocktail hour and a dj to perform at the reception. The planning went really well (Rebecca was very helpful and responsive!) and the Latin trio was amazing. However, the dj was awful. The main reason we went with EMG was because they had incredible 'hypemen' that could read the crowd and pick the best song to play. Not so. The dj picked slow songs when the crowd was energetic, my guests were clueless about when the cake was being cut or the bouquet was being tossed because the dj barely announced it, he also ruined our wedding video montage (which we paid extra for) by starting music early/not lowering screen then lifting the screen/stopping music -- it was a disaster. On top of all that, I was very embarrassed to hear from my guests that the dj *repeated* songs. I filled out the EMG survey about my poor experience and they never wrote back or followed up with me. Overall, hire the Latin trio band (they were great!), but steer clear of the djs that EMG uses. I wish I did more research and picked a company with more recent reviews, and didn't just blindly pick someone off the 'hotel vendor' list.

My wife and I had our wedding on May 17th at the Viceroy-Miami. The reception took place on the 50th floor at Club 50 which is a killer backdrop for an amazing party. That being said, the backdrop was only the canvas and we wanted to make sure we picked the right Entertainment Company to make the scene come alive. My wife and I scoured South Florida for the right company and as soon as we sat down with Javier and Rebecca, we knew we were in the right hands and they knew how to throw a kick butt party. Throughout the year leading up to our wedding we had many meetings with both Javier and Rebecca and they showed nothing less than pure professionalism. They were EXTREMLY accommodating with making edits to songs, ensuring the right DJ booth was available for us, and making themselves available to us even when we requested “pop up” meetings. At no time during the process did we doubt their ability, knowledge or recommendations as it related to throwing an amazing party. Our DJ/MC for the night was DJ Kenny. All I can say is that this guy knows how to get a crowed moving. DJ Kenny blew the roof off that place. He was amazing to say the least. He played an amazing mix of songs, was on the mic exactly as much as we envisioned and knew how to get the crowed going. One moment that comes to mind and will forever be in my memory was when he dropped “Lean Back” by Fat Joe. Knowing there were a ton of friends and family from NY at the wedding, DJ Kenny yells “IS NEW YORK IN THE HOUSE”. The place erupted! My boys from NY went crazy and the dance floor felt like we were at the old Sound Factory or the Tunnel in NYC. It was amazing. He truly exceeded our every wish. To put it in perspective even more, after the last song was played, he had a packed dance floor chanting “ONE MORE SONG…ONE MORE SONG”……I’ve been to a million weddings and I have never experienced anything like that! And how did DJ Kenny handle the chanting? He gave the crowd exactly what they asked for and killed it one last time. On top of being a great DJ/MC he was extremely professional the entire night. Javier, you are the man for sending such a professional to our wedding. DJ Kenny gets 10 out of 10 in our book. In addition, we had a percussionist who was incredible and added such an amazing touch to the party. He rocked it. Hip Hop, Salsa, Merengue… HE ROCKED IT. Unfortunately I never really met him or got his name but he should be given high praise by EMG as he was also a professional who knew how to weave in and out of different genres of music seamlessly. Bottom line, we had an amazing wedding and have received nothing but amazing feedback from all. The DJ/Entertainment Company is the most important choice you can make during the wedding process. It will literally make or break your experience. That said, if you want your wedding to be perfect and have true professionals in your corner who know what they are doing, search no more. EMG is incredible and we would use them over and over again. EMG delivers on every promise made!!!

I had such a pleasant experience working with EMG! They were friendly, adaptable, and the DJ Was absolutely wonderful!! All the guests danced the entire time.

We used DJ connections for the ceremony and reception and they were worth every penny. The DJ was awesome and played very nice music that kept the party going. Will defiantly use them again in the future.

From the beginning of the planning to the ending of the wedding, they were amazing! They kept me up to date, their planning resources were wonderful and the staff was always willing to help! They listened to everything I wanted and executed it flawlessly. Thank you!

The DJ Connection isn't your ordinary DJ. It is a professional DJ group with amazing customer service and a great end product! I will warn they aren't the cheapest DJ group in the area but trust me when I say "you get why you pay for!" You get 1 on 1 office meetings with Adrien Alfonso, the office manager, who walks you through everything from the event timeline to providing suggestions for music! Ourwedding DJ was wonderful and I would totally use again forum the future for a party or ther event! I loved the DJ CONNECTION! If you are trying to find the DJ Connection and can't please note that thy changed their name to EMG Entertainment! Highly recommend them!

LOVED my DJ! I had Adrian who I had the pleasure of working with from the start and he was awesome. Our DJ was live the entire time. We had people on the dance floor from the beginning to the end and everyone is still talking about how much fun they had. They also provided wireless uplighting that looked amazing! Thank you guys so much!

Look no further than to do connection to do our wedding. From meeting with javi to the day of the wedding every thing went off exactly the way I wanted it. I had Kenny as my dj the day of and he knew how to dj a party everyone was on there feet from the time the music came on until the wedding was over!

These are organized and know how to keep the party going! They read the crowd and pump the crowd!!!

Our D.J was awesome. Our wedding party had a great time, our guest danced all nite. Plus, our D.J. was the master of ceremony in our wedding party and he did a great job.

Wedding was a hit by far due to the Dj tge ceremony sweet soft music the dinner soft love songs and then the party wow and we announced we were expecting and tge played tge Babys heartbeat ;-) The LED DJ board was amazingthanks you Javier & Adrian

DJ Connections- Adrian, was wonderful! The music was hyped up and kept everyone dancing the night away and it really created such a good ambience during dinner and cocktail hour. We were so pleased with him! Awesome.

DJ. Conection is the perfect Dj for your wedding. they were wonderful and very professional. the Live percusionist adds a great touch to the wedding.

The DJ was ok. He was pricey and didn't play much of the music I requested. Although they were very nice during the reception. I would recommend to someone who has money and is willing to spend.

I won a contest through them and up to then they were nothing but nice. But after we won they just tried getting us to pay them for another service. We ended up hiring them and then they never answered calls or emails and gave my husband a hard time with things. The day of they didnt even have our playlist so we had to go by what we could. The DJ who came was super nice and great, I just didn't like the company.

When we met with them they seemed great and went over our songs, We met another time to review everything prior to the wedding. They said everything all the songs and our first dance song which we made sure because no one had ever heard of it. On the wedding day they messed up our first dance song and they never played our song the whole night. When i called to talk to them about it after our honeymoon they never called me back or apologized about it. very disappointing

I met DJ Connection at a bridal show at Epic Hotel and thought they were amazing. I contracted them for my wedding in November. Josh was the DJ and I have to say I was very impressed. He not only played everything we wanted to hear, but he also had a good time doing it. I will definitely use them again.

Wow they did such a great job at my wedding!! They had an awesome database system were you can enter your wedding day timeline and enter in any specific songs that you want to play at a certain time or during a certain part of the event. The database system also allows you to create your must play list and your do not play list, plus allows you to make any shout-outs if needed. It is very user friendly and if the song didnt come up in the search engine, you could add it in and they still would be able to play it!!

My fiance and I had another DJ for the wedding, but when we went to a friends wedding my fiance insisted that we cancel the other DJ and get DJ Connections. I had to go check them out, so I went over met with the owner and he explained everything how they select their DJ's to the proffessionalism they carry to the end of the night for any event. What sold me was their website where you can set up your timeline, X out any songs that you would not want anyone to request, choose the percentage of the kind of music, etc. Everyone at my wedding kept on thinking that I picked out the whole playlist for the dancing part because they said it was a perfect playlist for us. I simply told them that these DJ's are amazing. The best part is that you get an MC and a DJ and it felt like a club. They have different packages for different brides........far worth every penny!

I didnt have a dj 4 months before my wedding. My best friend got married and I heard him spinning and I was hooked! Kenny was amazing! He kept us all energized and dancing a big plus. After my wedding all my friends came up to us asking if he was the same guy from the previous wedding. They said he was 100 times better at ours. I dont care for comments all I know is that my feet hurt so much from dancing!!

We were pleased with DJ connection Inc. They were on point with the music for our wedding from start to finish. They were organized with online resources so there was no need to meet and go over song selection. It was convenient to work with them. They are real professionals. I highly recommend this vendor.

We had both a DJ and an EMCEE which made things run very smoothly. They have a website that you go to while you are planning your wedding that you write everything in. When you want toast when you want your cake cutting bouquet throwing ect... what songs you want for each part! It covered things you wouldn't even know to cover ahead of time so you can plan your wedding exactly the way you want it. Ours came with a Photo DVD of our pictures growing up with songs and it was amazing. They are professional they are good at what they do and reliable!
