If you are looking for a photographer for your engagement and wedding photos you will not be disappointed with Emily! My husband and I got to know Emily prior to our wedding completing an engagement shoot. This was a great way for all of us to get to know each other prior to our big day! I highly recommend an engagement shoot if your able! Emily worked closely with us with multiple phone calls prior to our wedding. This gave us the ability to have all the details / schedule figured out prior to our wedding day. On our wedding day Emily was professional, fun and felt like a friend. On a day when emotions are high and your photographer is there for so many intimate moments, Emily was perfect. She drove to our remote wedding location in the mountains and spent over 9 hours pouring her soul into capturing our love story. When we received our full gallery it brought me to tears. My husband and I could re-live our day through the photos. Her photos will capture your candid expressions and those of your loved ones and guests. Capturing candid expressions was so important to me and I was so happy with our finished gallery. Emily captures all the small details too. She is wonderful with kids, keeping them smiling and full of patience. I can not recommend her enough! You will not be disappointed! :) I will be using Emily for future milestones!

Emily did some family photos for us while we were in Alaska and she was easy to schedule with, communicative, and the pictures turned out wonderful!

I found Emily purely by chance, but from our first meeting over the phone I knew she would be amazing to work with for our wedding! She is one of the sweetest and pure hearted people you could meet. She helped us every step of the way with planning our Seward wedding all the way from Ohio. Then the wedding day arrived and she helped make it the most magical day ever. Never once did we feel awkward (I’m an odd ball about getting my photos taken) and she fit right in with our group. Emily is an amazing photographer who has an eye for her clients. She was able to truly capture the love and the goofiness my husband and I have. I’m still crying over how beautiful our pictures are. If you want the best photo experience in Alaska, I beyond recommend Emily. She’s become a true friend to me and I can’t thank her enough!

There are no words that I can use to accurately describe how much of an AMAZING photographer Emily is. She captured our elopement - start to finish - including all of the important details that helped make our families feel as though they were present. Looking at our photographs - every emotion, feeling, and memory from our special day gets sparked. I had so many concerns with eloping but Emily was able to help put all of those to rest. I cannot rave about Emily’s work enough. HIGHLY recommend!

Emily is a bundle of joy and positive energy on your wedding day. She is such a great adventure buddy and it’s easy to see she truly loves what she does. Even on a misty day in Seward, she made the wet and the chill truly a blast to be in by capturing some epic shots that really capture the beauty of the day.

Emily did an incredible job capturing our day, and it was genuinely a joy to have her energy at our wedding. Looking back through the gallery was like experiencing the full day all over -- and we got to see some joyous moments between guests that we didn't see day of. She made the process of planning easy, and got all the family and friend photos done before the ceremony so once we got started we could just enjoy our party and be present. Emily did our engagement shoot last year and finally our wedding last week. She is absolutely amazing! She is so kind and easy to work with, and is really dedicated in making people feel comfortable in front of the camera. Her photos are beautiful. I can't recommend her enough!

I love her to death and I love her pictures. We traveled to Alaska for our honeymoon and hired her to take pictures! They came out amazing! Not only is she great behind the camera but she also shared information about Alaska and recommended places to us! She is so personable.. she really listens to what you want and makes your vision come to life. I am a very awkward individual and get uncomfortable behind the camera and she made me feel 1000% relaxed, comfortable, and confident and the images I got back I’m in love with! I could go on but she’s amazing book her! We will definitely be using her again!

Emily was absolutey amazing! She guided us and our party (& guests!) in poses and where/how to stand for the best photos, and it really shows in the product! On top of that, she was amazingly complimentary and we all had such a great time taking pictures with her!

Emily was a great find! We didn't know the area at all and she picked several beautiful locations that we could not have found on our own. I asked for big beautiful landscape shots with our wedding photos and she definitely delivered! Emily made us feel comfortable and relaxed during the shots. She directed us in some great poses and I absolutely LOVE how the photos turned out. Emily communicated promptly and always answered emails from us. Emily was the best photographer a bride could ask for. She was so clued into the details and really fought for what we wanted. She was also spot on with the impromptu shots. If she suggests doing something (even if it isn’t on the schedule) run with it! Those were our favorite photos! The turnaround on the pictures were very timely. Emily has an eye for the gorgeous shots and also has a personality that makes you feel comfortable and confident. She is fun, adventurous, and a calming presence in the midst of a crazy and chaotic day. Cannot recommend Emily enough! She is AMAZING!

Emily was an awesome photographer to work with! She fit right in and made the whole wedding experience enjoyable and memorable. We didn't get to meet her until the day of our wedding but she instantly fit right in. Our whole family couldn't stop talking about how awesome and personable she was to be around. Emily was an absolute DREAM to work with, she's incredibly friendly, outgoing and professional. She's so easy to get along with and when we met it was almost like we had been friends for years getting together to catch up. She was very thorough and detailed and was happy to answer any questions I had throughout the entire process of planning, shooting and everything afterwards. I would 100% recommend hiring her, she is the ONE! She far exceeded my expectations and the entire experience was smooth and seamless.

While worrying about so many other wedding details, the photographer was not one! Emily exceeded our expectations, from start to finish! We booked her for both our engagement pictures and wedding day. She is truly a joy to work with, so kind and easy to talk to. She was great for helping talk through wedding planning and stresses. She works with your style and how you like to be captured, whether posed or more candid. If it were not for the photo proof, I almost would have forgotten she was there! I mean that in the best way possible as she was great at blending in and not disrupting the flow of the day. One of my favorite aspect was how she captured the seemingly little details and moments that I'm sure would begin to fade with time (like how we ended up signing our marriage license on my father-in-law's back). I felt like we not only had a wedding photographer but a friend; someone who truly seemed to take deep care and consideration to capturing our day perfectly. We are so thankful we chose Emily to be our photographer, and we will be sure to choose her again for any other big life moments.

Emily was absolutely amazing throughout the whole process, and the photos are STUNNING. I received 650+ edited photos, and it was so fun to look through them and see all the little moments she captured, both hilarious and heartwarming. We received all of the classic wedding photos, with the addition of beautifully captured candid shots that we would have missed out on. She even helped us tap our keg! Emily was so fun to work with and I highly recommend working with her!

Our Photographer Emily was a SUPER HUMAN Photographer! She made every part of our special day better in so many ways. From just being a calming presence to our children in the helicopter to providing us with gorgeous and magical wedding pictures- there just are no words to express how phenomenal our experience was with Emily. Emily were amazing that's all I can say. We were putting ourself in a kind of rush when it comes to wedding. We made the wedding happened in 2 weeks and we found Emily just a week before our important day. Emily manage to squeeze us in her tight schedule. We've got many useful idea about the wedding and from her, not to mention about wonderful ideas of how to have beautiful wedding photos. The photos turnover time is reasonable and she was so punctual. Working with Emily was amazing. She's sweet, professional, flexible and everything you could ask for from a professional photographer. My husband and I got married in Seward in 2015. I first contacted Emily about doing an anniversary photo shoot and going to the same places we went for photos on our wedding day. Emily was professional and patient when our plans had to shift to a maternity photo shoot. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed the whole time, which wasn’t easy. We explored Lowell Point, the forest, fireweed fields, bridges, streams, and even hiked up to Exit Glacier. It was an all around amazing day thanks to Emily and we have fantastic photos to remember such an exciting time in our lives. We can’t wait to go back and have her take pictures of our newest addition!

Emily is truly passionate about photography and it shows in her work. Emily captured my wedding day and I couldn't have asked better quality. Through tough times she was always there for me if I needed anything. She was punctual and polite and courteous to my family and that mattered the most. All my guests still say how kind she was. Her work is beyond compare! I wish I could just share all my photos in this review section. Emily is someone I will never forget.

Emily was epic! Easy to work with, affordable and oh so talented!! The pictures she took of my husband and I were priceless! I honestly can’t say enough great things about this talented young woman!

First, Emily and family made our photo shoot an amazing experience. It's a long story to a winter wonderland wedding. Tomas and I spontaneously decided to elope for New Years in Alaska; both had never been to, always wanted to visit, and we love the snow. Of course, last minute planning was difficult. We both contacted multiple photographers. Not only does Emily's web portfolio speak for itself but she was the most personable from email, text, to phone consultation. To us that was a very important quality in developing trust. I say that because it's an important event, we were from out of state, and we didn't know anyone. She was also flexible with our preferred dates. She was always open to questions and was prompt with responses. The photoshoot was adventurous. Emily provided a positive energy. Aaron helped out with the props. Truman was a joy. Naturally it was chilly and then it started snowing during the shoot (a pleasant surprise). Hand warmers discrete as possible and snow boots under my dress. In the end, everything came together. It was the wedding shoot that we wished for and more. They were welcoming and fun. We feel blessed to have new friends and we are all overjoyed with the results! =)

Emily is doing a great job! She is talented and detail-oriented. I had with her my first photo-shooting in my life and working with her is an unforgettable experience and also even If you don't know what to do, how to pose - She will tell you everything. I've received a great photos in a short time from her and I can't stop to looking on them.

My husband and I don't take a lot of pictures together and aren't super photogenic, but doing our engagement photos with Emily turned out to be a great experience! She had all the spots picked out on where to take the pictures and did a really good job making the poses seem natural, so we didn't have to think about a thing. And the photos turned out so amazing. We were very happy with her work and would definitely use her in the future.

Emily didn’t shoot my wedding my did my first family photos with my new daughter. I’ve worked with a lot of photographers and I’ve never met someone like Emily. She was so on top of everything and took the extra time to get to know us before! Along with juggling the animals and my grandpas funny little comments, she delivered the best photos. Emily is the best! She did my family pictures last year and they turned out amazing. Emily was great to work with for family photos! She was early, full of ideas, and super patient while working with 12 people spanning 4 generations, all while the wind was blowing like 40 miles an hour.
