I have only wonderful things to say about Emily Katherine Events! I worked with Eva and she helped me through everything!!! I got so much advice and support throughout the wedding planning process. My wedding day was mostly outside with 150 guests but everything went so smooth because of Eva and I had such a stress free day. Everything felt organized and on tract. I had a lot of decor but the set up looked so beautiful. I was a super nervous bride but the team at Emily Katherine Events did not let anything fall through the cracks. They made my timeline, communicated with my vendors, worked with the venue, set up a walk-through one month out, and made sure I didn't miss anything! Working with this team was one of best experiences and put me at so much ease. Definitely recommend to anyone planning an event, do not hesitate to book !!

I always tell people now that if I can give one piece of wedding advice it's to hire a full service planner. The most important caveat to this is that you hire Emily to plan your wedding. I know it sounds hyperbolic, but do whatever you can to work with Emily. She's already booked on the date you want? Pick another date. Seriously, she is that worth it. We started working with Emily in the early Summer of 2021 for our Spring 2023 wedding and bought her full service planning package and it was easily the best money we spent on our wedding. Over the course of nearly two years she was extremely connected, communicative, and on top of every single detail. Her connections in the industry really showed through with every other vendor we contracted with as they were all genuinely excited to be working one of her events. I cannot overstate how excellent it was to work with Emily. The amount of time, money, and stress she saved us by hearing our vision, connecting us with and handling the best possible vendors we could imagine, and realizing every final detail of the plan is something I simply can't put a price on. Her team is phenomenal, too. All of the outstanding work from Eva and Emma on our wedding day (and before) was the linchpin in making sure our wedding went off without a hitch. If anything went wrong I had no idea and their hard work kept the day extremely organized in such a way that we got to focus on us and go into the day knowing that everything was going to go great. It's funny looking back on everything now because people always told us that planning a wedding is hard. To be fair to them I'm sure they're right, but I wouldn't know because working with Emily not only made the whole experience easy, but an absolute joy.

Working with EK Events was one of the best choices we made for our wedding! Emily & Eva were both so kind, organized, and incredibly professional. Eva made our wedding day go so smoothly and she had every single detail under control. It definitely wouldnt have been the same without her - we didnt worry about anything & got to be fully present during our wedding day. Emily is an absolutely incredible wedding planner and person. She is universally loved by pretty much every other vendor we worked with. She listened to our ideas and priorities and helped make the perfect wedding. She is extremely organized, thoughtful, and makes helpful suggestions but also leaves room for the couple’s ideas and values. She also put up with our extremely limited schedules and intermittent responses (2 resident physicians). I could not recommend EKE enough/ if you are planning a wedding, you should absolutely hire her.

We hired Emily and Eva as our day-of wedding coordinators, and they were such an integral part of making sure our big day was as special and beautiful as it turned out to be. When we initially met with them, we had already hired most of our vendors, but were a little lost with the whole wedding planning process; Emily and Eva jumped right on it and helped us set timelines and deadlines and figure out some specific details, coordinated with our vendors, organized lots of information, set up walkthroughs and rehearsals, and answered our multitudes of questions. All the while, they were professional, pleasant to work with, knowledgeable, helpful, and very reassuring when we needed it. When it came to the big day, they kept us right on track and calmed our nerves, helped out with décor, and basically ensured the day went better than we ever thought it could. Emily and Eva were excellent, and I would highly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding or any event, and we can't thank them enough for everything they did for us.

We decided to go through Emily Katherine Events almost 2 years before the wedding date and it was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding process because she made the process as stress free as possible. Emily kept track of dates, schedules, people, invoices, meetings, and budget. She was really good about keeping us informed and involved without being overbearing. She also contacted all of our vendors for us and nudged us in the right direction when it came to decorations. Emily was very quick to respond to any communication even when we knew she was super busy in the height of the wedding season. All in all Emily kept us on track and pointing towards our wedding date as stress free as she could possibly make it. 100/10 would recommend.

Emily and her team made sure our wedding went perfectly. Emily helped us plan and get organized from day one. I would really recommend the full-service package because Emily has amazing vendor contacts that really amplified the aesthetic of our wedding. She's also very conscious of details, especially sentimental ones. She made sure everything was set up perfectly and everything ran without a hitch. Emily and team are worth the investment!

We picked Emily on a gut feeling based on the great vibe I got from our intro call-reminder to always listen to your gut. Emily and Eva were absolutely fantastic. They were fun to work with but extremely organized, flexible, and proactive. They always had time to answer our questions, help us troubleshoot quirky requests, and answer any and all of our wedding related questions, even the ones that did not pertain to them. In fact, they did such a great job a guest told me that the wedding was executed perfectly, and their level of attention to detail and precision even impressed a Marine Corps Lt. Col. father of the bride. If you want a successful, well planned event executed with a calming presence, you need Emily Katherine Events.

If I could give Emily one hundred stars, I would. We hired Emily pretty much immediately after booking our venue with no idea what direction to go from there. Emily worked with us for over 18 months and planned the entire wedding and rehearsal dinner from top to bottom. I am the type of person who had a distinctive and specific vision but hates logistics and can get easily frazzled so it was so nice to have someone so responsible, organized, and professional handling all of the planning. We used all of Emily's recommended vendors and they were all amazing! Everyone who attended our wedding raved about everything from the food to the décor to our live band. My somewhat unique vision and aesthetic for my wedding was expertly carried out by Emily and co. Absolutely none of it could have happened if it weren't for Emily, and even during the inevitable wedding hiccups and curveballs, Emily stayed calm and collected and kept everyone's blood pressure at bay. I can't even count the number of small details that I wouldn't have ever thought of that Emily handled. On our wedding day, Emily and her team coordinated the entire event with such poise and calmness. Even when we had to change around our plans because of the rain, Emily had towels and clear umbrellas ready to go for our photos and for our guests.

Emily and her team made our big day seamless and flawless! It was such a relief knowing that they were handling all the tiny details and timing of events so we could just relax and enjoy every second of our celebrations. They think of everything and they had a go bag with everything you’ll forget to think of that helps in emergencies (safety pins, sewing kit, tape - you name it!). Don’t think twice - hire EK Events and rest easy!

My only regret about the wedding is that I did not hire Emily sooner! We hired her as a day of coordinator and I wish we had hired her to plan. She is so organized and calm. As a really details oriented human, I was worried about my ability to hand off responsibility to someone else and I did not have to give it a second thought with Emily. Other vendors came back and commented how organized and professional she is. Her recommendations for other vendors and for timeline adjustments were excellent and the day went by seamlessly with Emily directing everyone. Emily is incredible and you will love working with her.

Worth every penny! When I first started the wedding planning process, I was unsure if the cost for wedding planner was worth it. I thought I could probably do it all myself. However, after working with Emily and her team, the answer is 100% yes. Book a wedding planner, and specifically, book Emily. She is worth it! Emily tagged in to help coordinate all our vendors a month out from our wedding date. This is when I started to get stressed, and Emily made the process so easy. She made me feel at ease, stepped in to take over what I needed her to, and took such great care of us. The day of the wedding, she was not only hopping around at the venue getting everything set up. She checked in when we were getting ready, stopped to make us plates of food, ensured we always had a drink in our hand (and drank enough water). She even packed everything up for us at the end of the night, including slices of wedding cake to eat as a midnight snack. I can't express enough how incredible she was and how spoiled we felt having her. I also wanted to note how much I loved her creativity and focus on sustainability. Emily has such a refreshing ability to make you plan everything you've dreamed of, but in a way that is also easy on the environment. Emily, you are the best!

I could not have been happier to work with Emily and I’m so thankful the venue required a coordinator. I do not know how we would have managed all the final details leading up to the wedding, much less all the moving pieces without Emily (and Eva). Emily took so much pressure and stress off of us, all the while taking care of additional details such as environnemental considerations. Emily also used very inclusive language throughout the planning process, which while we are a straight couple, was important to know that ALL our guests would be affirmed throughout the evening. I would highly recommend Emily to anyone looking for a full planner or a month of coordinator. Truly fantastic!

We felt really lucky to find Emily. During the ups and downs of wedding planning during a pandemic, she kept her cool and helped us both create and achieve the vision for our wedding. She did a great job coordinating with vendors and navigating our family dynamics (no major drama!), all with patience, a positive attitude, and a sense of humor. The extended planning period and necessary virtual contacts made some logistics more challenging, but overall the wedding day went smoothly and we were so happy with how everything turned out. Emily was so great to work with! She was such a calming presence on the day of the wedding, and it was such a relief to know that the final details were in her very capable hands. We had a small wedding (35 people), and she was very laidback through the planning process (matching our desired energy and calming our nerves), and she never pressured us to go bigger or include any of the traditions that we decided to skip. However, she was extremely helpful in managing logistics, filling in gaps about what would make our wedding easier, helping with the day-of timeline, and suggesting small details that really made it special. With her help, the wedding turned out even better than we had hoped!

Emily handled all the re-tooling of my daughter's wedding from large to small due to Covid-19 venue cancellations and helped guide us through the changes we had to make. Emily made sure that everything went smoothly, that everything was organized and on time, that we had answers to our questions, that there was a contingency plan, and that we were informed and “in the loop”. Emily's advice was always spot-on and she completely took over everything, making sure that all details were taken care of. I was able to relax and enjoy the event, knowing that Emily (and Gina, her coworker) were there, directing things. My daughter's wedding and reception was beautiful and magical, far better than any of us could have hoped for. Hiring Emily was the best decision we made. She is worth every penny and then some.

If you are on the fence about hiring a wedding planner, do it. Then pick up the phone and call Emily. My husband and I decided to go full steam ahead with our wedding date in this post-apocalyptic Coronavirus world. That meant that 30 days before we said I Do, we had to completely re-plan our wedding. Emily really stepped up for us. She contacted vendors, figured out with our photographer how to livestream the ceremony, helped redo menus, scheduled vendors so we didn't exceeded our covid headcount. You name it, she was on it. Our wedding day was flawless. It could not have gone better. And that's saying something considering she's dealing with brides that are having their dream weddings scrapped at the last minute. If you're going to cut corners to stay on budget for your wedding, great...just don't do it here. Thanks again, Emily! You're a life (and wedding) saver!

Emily and Kayla were wonderful! They anticipated our needs before we even knew we had a need. As a bride who had no idea what I wanted my wedding to look like (while attempting to plan it in just four months!), it is not hyperbole to say the big day would not have happened without Emily. She had a magical way of guiding without imposing, which is not an easy balance! Emily was super kind and sensitive to me and my family, was the impeccable professional in communicating with other vendors (who all adored her, by the way!), punctual in following-through with everything, incredibly responsive and available, thoughtful with big and small details, and (especially considering our timeline) a literal miracle-worker. (Like helping get dirt stains out of my dress train after rainy pictures at the ceremony!) I feel confident in saying that working with Emily will be the best decision you make in your wedding planning adventure... it certainly was mine!

We hired Emily Katherine events to be "partial wedding planners" since we already had a few things done when we enlisted them (venue, band booked etc.) Emily and her assistant Gina helped us both with our Friday Welcome party (with a guest like of 100+ people) and with the wedding on Saturday (with a guest list of 200+ people). It was incredible to have them coordinating both and they were a massive help. I didn't even have to think twice about all the nitty gritty details like what time our caterers were going to show up and rentals etc. I really appreciate Gina and Emily''s working style- very calm and relaxed but also efficient and capable. Resulted in a day that was totally relaxed and everything ran so smoothly. They were very available over email or to meet in person when requested. With partial planning it's maybe a fine line to walk where you are overstepping "partial" into "full" but I was more conscious about it then them as they never gave me anything but their full attention.

Emily was incredible to work with. She was calm, organized, and so helpful before and during our wedding. We went with the “day of coordinator” option but she did much more leading up to the wedding to make sure she was in the loop and everything was going smoothly. Emily is a total pro! Hiring her was one of the best (the best?) decisions we made in our wedding planning process.
