We got the social pod and it was a hit. Easy to use and affordable. Would recommend it for anyone looking for a Photobooth.

We worked with Zach for the entire process and he helped us with our DJ portion and his other company helped with our photobooth and lighting..it really was a great party and very personal. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Everyone had a great time and the party was something we had put off but are glad that we ended up throwing the party.

Zach was amazing and was always professional. Our meetings were very comfortable, fun and he did a great job of keeping the dancefloor full, his lighting was so great and really brought out our florals and fun in the colors he did. We can't say enough about how fantastic he is. He isn't the cheapest so if you are looking for "cheap" its not him but he also is fair in his package options for the amount of work he does before during and even after! We have had three friends ask us for his number from our wedding who are engaged..I know he books up fast too!

Zach and his staff were all so professional, they took the time to really get to know me and all our guests ahead of time. Zach was one of the best DJ's our guests had ever had the pleasure of experiences according to so many for the after wedding breakfast! Such a pro and we are so glad that we hired him. Don't think that the DJ is just a DJ....if you do your wedding will be just another wedding....ours was exceptional...

Zach was recommended by our venue, wedding planner and photographer. We chose his middle package he put together for us and that included some room uplighting, a great sounding music system and HIM! I think he did a great job, he was easy to talk to, made us both feel very comfortable and also was a great DJ! We also used his photobooth because it was a great deal. We compared a lot of DJ's and MET WITH quite a few so hopefully this will save you some time if that is you..just go with Zach its a great value for his personality, his experience and his talent!

We booked Zach with his other company but he was our DJ so I wanted to also leave a review here because it was all so great! He helped the day to be so smooth and we got SO many compliments on the music and "party" aspect of the wedding. We had a dry wedding but you couldn't tell- the dance floor was packed all night and it helped our wedding be perfect for us!!

Everyone was fantastic to work with. We had a great time and so did our guests. The lighting and photobooth were just as well done. Our venue recommended working with these guys and so did our photographer and videographer. I am glad we listened to them and it was a great investment in our party!

Working with the entire office staff here was a pleasure. We got engaged early on and we didn't really stay in touch after contacting them the first time. They followed up with a few emails and said they would pencil us in for a month or so if they didn't hear back to book. We are both in school full time and taking finals so ...got a little crazy! We weren't pressured into booking with them and they sent us a few emails every so often which was great because we really did want to book! When we did finally have some time to meet and setup the booking it was so easy! (why didn't we do this sooner!) It was a digital contract, the payment to hold the date was digital and it was all done quick! (like 5 minutes)...so if you don't think you have the time to meet, book all that just ask them to do it all online! The planning process was also just as smooth! We knocked out everything and had about 30 days left before the wedding and we felt so at ease knowing it was all taken care of...the party was a hit, all our friends raved about how much fun they had....and we couldn't have asked for a better experience....

Zach did such a good job for our ceremony. We had been to ALOT of wedding ceremonies we emphasized we wanted all the guests to hear everything. Well he was a total pro and brought the right gear for the right job! We have talked to several guests and checked on how the quality was and all said they heard every word we both said! Nothing is more annoying than bad sound as a guest and it’s something I think a lot of people over look! The party was also just as great! Everyone had a great time during the party.

We had DJ Dakota as our DJ and he did a great job! We had been referred over to Zach by our photographer because, well photographers see it all! She said Zach and his team were true professionals, and she was correct! From the planning, meeting at their SUPER COOL office, to not being bugged CONSTANTLY by phone calls from them(like some other DJ company) we felt so relaxed and confident that we ended up booking them, even though Zach was booked Dakota was awesome and made sure we all had good time and kept the party going all night!

Working with Zach and his team was awesome..he has the staff to pull off any event and John was a joy to work with on the Photo Booth and lighting side of things. We couldn't recommend these guys more.

Zach was a total pro! I can't say enough about how much we loved working with him AND THE PARTY, so much fun. He helped orchestrate the grand entrance to be perfect, made sure that everyone was on the same page (photographers ready, etc) The music was on point, he had some fun lighting and we also used his social pod (photobooth) and it was a huge hit! We loved having a ONE STOP SHOP for all the fun things and he also didn't disappoint in the talent area! Music was mixed, seemless flow and was played so EVERYONE had a great time!

Zach was awesome to deal with we didn’t end up booking with him I wanted to do a review as he referred me over to who we did use and was super professional and understood we were on a smaller budget and helped us find awesome entertainment

We just landed for our honeymoon and are taking a break in our hotel but I wanted to be sure to get a few of these reviews done as I know my fellow brides will be searching for a DJ after getting engaged this Christmas or New Years! My advice is to CALL ZACH!! :) He was awesome, so accommodating and talented. We had a pre-christmas wedding as most of our family and friends were in town a few days before Christmas and than we all celebrated Christmas together and got some rest...but at the "after party" over Christmas everyone was talking about how much fun they had....they weren't talking about the food (I mean it was good though) ...they weren't really talking about the venue (which was nice) they were talking about how much FUN they all had!! So to keep from being LONG WINDED....I (we) would advise you to give this dude a call, he is a master at his craft and you will not be disappointed!!

Brad and I had a fantastic time at our reception..my parents actually booked Zach while we were both away at college, we had a few phone calls and Zach also setup a skype video meeting with us both so that we really didn't feel like we had been hundreds of miles away planning with him. The day of our reception after the ceremony we arrived and things went off exactly as we had talked about, we didn't have to lift a finger, my friends even told me they wished they had hired him over their DJ choice..I know he was a little more high end than other "basic DJ's" but my parents felt it was a great investment in the success of everything else we had planned. I would personally highly recommend working with Zach

Zach was awesome from beginning to end. We wanted a magical evening of fun, elegance and nothing cheesy or that 'DJ Voice' that you hear at ALL the weddings (we have been to a ton in Tulsa) our photographer recommended we call Zach(Hey don't they seem like the best source of seeing the good, bad and ugly?) so we met with him at his office (he actually has a real office) and he didn't even ask us to sign on the spot, we left he emailed us some options based on that meeting and didn't call and bug us until we got back in touch (as soon as we got the info ) and booked him. (we also had to tell two other harassing DJ companies to STOP CALLING US three times that were still contacting us we had never met with but we "had won" a special at a wedding show we signed up for.....that we never even attended).....anyway he was also just as awesome at our ceremony, his ceremony equipment was TOP NOTCH, even our officiant was impressed with his high end stuff...the reception was also just as fun as we had imagined....our family, friends even our grandparents stayed until the very end and were on the floor...nothing cheesy was done, we laughed, we cried, we celebrated and Zach knocked it outta the park!

Our guests as well as us had such a great time! It was the only time my matron of honor(who has been a bridal party member in many weddings) said she actually felt like a guest! :-) Zach and his entire staff were professional, fun and NOT cheesy at all! (One of my prerequisites for my DJ) he was organized, experienced and we felt like a friend along the entire planning process and not just a customer. Hire Zach Downing Wedding DJ if you truly want a first class wedding reception.

We chose to have Zach be our Master of Cermonies and our DJ for our wedding in February. He was so easy to work with from beginning to end. We had met with a few other DJs who were quick to try to get us to book "on the spot" and we really felt uneasy with them...when we met with Zach he was so laid back, so professional, had a real office to meet with us in and so many references from other wedding pros. We had so many compliments about our reception from guests(still getting them) saying how much fun they had, so many great memories. All I vandal is that if you want just a DJ he is much more than that, don't be fooled by others saying they have the experience he does( we actually had one DJ compare himself to Zach at a meeting) but we had an uneasy feeling and that DJ actually did a friend of ours wedding and it was far from the same, we actually left early because it was so awkward) ..I digress! Anyway, Zach was again, awesome and you won't regret it!

Zach was awesome to work with! Platinum DJ and that's what we wanted! My friends felt like we were parting in college and yet my garandparents and paresnts and friends were all partying as well! It was the perfect mix of music, professional announcing without the "cheesy DJ voice" .....and so much fun to work with! You'll spend more with Zach but it's well worth it!!

My fience and I enjoyed working and meeting with Zach and his team during the process of planning our wedding, he is a true professional and we truly appreciated that he wasn't trying to sell us on something at every meeting, we kept hearing and seeing his name from all our vendors and online and in magazines so we just had to meet with him, we are so glad we did, again true professional!! Call him!!

Zach Downing is a man of many talents. He coordinated and arranged for our lighting, draping, photobooth, and served as a DJ during both the ceremony and reception. He did a superb job at all of his tasks. The lighting and draping looked wonderful! We draped one wall with colored fabric and had some interesting shades of light on that. We did custom lighting (vintage lights) over the dance floor, which truly impressed the guests. We just did a simple photobooth and everyone loved the props and humorous pics. They made a scrapbook as guests were doing the pics so the could also sign the scrapbook with the picture. Zach custom-designed the photobooth template so it matched perfectly with our color scheme and wedding theme. He did a terrific job at getting the audience involved. I told him specifically early on that I didn’t think many of my guests would dance, except perhaps the children. I was wrong—all of my guests were dancing, including my 92 year-old grandmother with her walker and my 94 year-old great aunt, and 89 year-old niece. Pretty impressive for them as well as for the DJ!

Zach Downing is your go to guy to make everyone dance and enjoy the entire night! He was so good he had my 2 great grandma's on the dance floor dancing to Party in the USA! He left the wedding with people wanting more. What else could you ask for! He was great keeping the wedding flowing and can really get the vibe of the guest! If you do not use him you are missing out!

Zach and his team were nothing short of amazing. Not only were they so easy to work with, they went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and we were stress free. Zach did a wonderful job transitioning the whole night and there was not a moment when the dance floor was empty. They also provided the photobooth and did such a great job keeping everything together. I just want to thank them again for making our day so perfect. We were recommend them fom our venue and we would be sure to recommend them to anyone who wants to make sure their guests have the BEST time.

We had been to quite a few weddings over the summer and Zach was by FAR the best DJ that we've seen! He was there whenever we needed to meet or speak with him, always kept us in the loop, and kept our dance floor packed the ENTIRE night! His energy, talent, and great music is what made our wedding so fun! My husband and I will definitely be recommending Zach along with the entire crew at ZDP to all of our friends, engaged or not! Zach Downing is much more the a DJ. Its a given the music was great and I (and my guests) couldn't stop dancing all night but the lighting they set up for us made my wedding stand out and really had the reception have the right mood) On top of all that they went out of their way for the us to make sure the timing of the evening was just right and just the way we wanted. No ordinary DJ does that! I even had friends comment to me wedding night" is that your event coordinator?" I'm like no, that’s my DJ and I'm so grateful for that. So thank you Zach for the best wedding ever!!!!

Zach was our DJ and he was simply amazing! He setup lighting in our reception and in both our cocktail hour areas (which is also where the after party was) and the main ballroom was simply beautiful. It felt like we were in a fun nightclub, which was the exact experience my husband and I were trying to create. Our friends and family kept coming up to use saying it was the best time they had ever experienced at a wedding. I did NOT want traditional wedding music--no September, YMCA, Group Dances etc. as I knew most of my guests would not either…I wanted the music to stay current, fresh, and fun with a few solid throwbacks..he executed them solidly. He definitely fulfilled our needs. He is a great entertainer! Highly recommended.

We loved working with Duet Photo Booth and Party Favors! From the first call until our wedding the staff was on top of working with us to get it right! The night of our reception our guests had such a great time! We had thought you DIY'ing our booth but the month before we went to a friends wedding who had DIY'd her booth and it was a flop, so we last minute called and crossed our fingers to see if Duet was open since w3e had experienced them at a friends reception a few months earlier and YES! It was a success, everyone had fun and it saved me from having to MAKE 150 party favors that I knew guests might or might not even WANT! MAKE THE CALL!

We chose to work with Zach after many referrals. We met with him at his office and he designed a package customized to what we were looking for, it was also a great chance for us to be able to really listen and for him to listen to us about what we were looking for in not finding "just a DJ"...Zach was our DJ and what a great choice he was! He was awesome. He got the all of our guests dancing...and I mean dancing until the last song and he didn't play any of the "typical" wedding songs you hear at every single wedding which was awesome. I do not think they dance floor was every empty and everyone said it was an amazing party and how thankful they were we invited them(bonus!). Zach was very flexible in the meeting times at his office and he even came to our venue, it was such a great change from a few other "DJ" companies who really just called us over and over and tried really hard to just get us to book over the phone...He was very respectful to us, our parents the bridal party and guests. We are so happy with our choice and would highly recommend Zach and his company!

On July 26th, 2014 my husband and I got married at The Mayo Hotel in Tulsa. Our reception took place in the ballroom and we hired DJ Express to provide entertainment for our guests. We also had them do the sound for the ceremony. The whole night was an amazing success! Jesse, our DJ, was great! We sat down with Jesse a few months before our wedding. He listened carefully to our ideas and patiently answered any questions we had. All the discussion helped put me at ease, and there was honestly nothing to be worried about because our reception was a blast. There was an online planning tool that was suggested, I wasn't too impressed with the site, but it was helpful for thinking through the reception timeline and special music. Jesse kept the dance floor packed from the first open dance until the last, even while the groom and I snuck out for sunset pictures. He took my demands seriously, played all our "must play" songs and was energetic without being cheesy. During dinner I had requested mostly Frank Sinatra type music, and a few songs into our salad course "Just the Two of Us" began to play. My husband and I quietly asked our wedding coordinator to remind Jesse of our preferences and after that we had no other mistakes! He was so easy to work with and did a great job of being the emcee without taking over the mic. I would highly recommend Jesse from DJ Express. He was on time and very professional. DJ Express can be very busy, and is a small company so be patient with communication. Also, request to meet your DJ before hand, since there are several that work for them and often times they go by different names depending on who you talk to. I was confused at first, but once I met Jesse, I was not longer worried. I would also recommend doing the Photo Booth! It was worth such a nominal fee. They provided a photo album, and included a second copy of all the photos taken in the booth along with messages from our guests. It was a wonderful keepsake from our wedding.

Zach was very helpful, and obviously knew what he was doing. The ceremony music went off without a flaw, and the mic worked perfectly without flaw. The selection of music was not exactly what I wanted during the reception, and the there were a couple issues with the flow of events compared to what my guests were ready to do, but I think most of this came from our lack of meetings and the last minute absentee of his helper. I think the price reflected exactly what we got. He gave us discounts to match other vendor's prices for a Friday, and threw in a couple features for free. Overall, the wedding went off well, and I never had to worry about him not having the songs we requested, so overall it wasn't a bad job at all.

Zach was all around AMAZING! We met with him in 2012 about a year before our wedding becaue we wanted to be sure we found THE BEST DJ for our wedding! We had been to some decent and NOT so decent weddings over the years together and Drew (my fiance) and I agreed that this was a big priority. We also agreed that we would NOT be the couple that did the dreaded IPOD WEDDING! (YIKES!!) so our search was on! We met a few companies at a wedding show, one was SUPER annoying and kept calling and bugging us to book with them for a "wedding show special" well months later when we thought about using them that SAME wedding show special was still around (hahahaha) so ladies, when you hear "wedding show special" or "book now special" it means, hey we raised our rates when you called and now are going to suck you in with a lower price to get you to book now.... Anyway! We had an amazing photographer who asked who our DJ was, when we told her that we were still looking she said "Call this guy"(Zach Downing)...we were both in school so when we were back during summer break we setup a meeting with him. THE MEETING! When I think "meeting" I think conference room, sales pitches and boring" well we met Zach at his Tulsa office (which is FREAKING AWESOME) its very Ikea, modern and comfortable! We actually got to sip a glass of champange and have a beer as we laughed, talked, told wedding horror stories as he listened to us! I think he could tell we were really scared to get a bad DJ and after that meeting we knew we found our DJ!.... THE PARTY! So the party was awesome..I wish I could think of another word to decribe it but ya...it rocked...my family, friends, even our catering company staff people were dancing! I love my photos, love the memories, I didn't have to worry about cheesy songs or skits, Zach made the night with elegance, flow, an awesome mix of music (he has this way of mixing music that is just ...ya very cool! So if you are looking for a DJ there are A TON of them all over Tulsa, Oklahoma whereever you are, but if you want a DJ, Emcee and someone who won't embarass you CALL ZACH, Meet with him and invest in this part of the reception, I know its easy to fall into the low price trap but move some money around, take it from a real bride..this is one thing you WANT to double up your budget on!!!!

Zach was awesome, we couldn't have asked for a better event host. We wanted more than just a DJ, we were getting calls from "another DJ" company that made us feel like a call center and just another number, Zach took the time, made us feel welcome and the night of the wedding he went above and beyond to make our guests feel comfortable, welcomed and in turn made for a great party. If you hire another DJ you might have fun, but with Zach everyone will enjoy the night, remember how much fun it was and also talk about it(as our guests still are!)...

My fiance (now wife) were looking for something more than just a DJ. We searched, met and vetted quite a few contenders until we came to Zach. We met with him at his office (yes a REAL office) and sat down, he really cared about what our concerns were. We had been to some weddings over the last year and saw some really "cheesy" DJ's who threw out all the typical "DJ" craziness to try to get people to "dance". When the first thing he said was "I am not a cheesy DJ" we were pretty much hooked! During the planning he helped us think about things that really, I think made the party. From the placement of the dancefloor in relation to the guests, to where we would come in from in order to help the photographer get the best photos as well as the guests be able to see us the best, to the unique and never before heard at a party music! (the music was AWESOME)...he truly was worth the price AND MORE! If you are looking for music, a DJ there are a TON of cookie cutter DJ's as we had seen at other weddings who did an "okay job" and people danced but what we wanted was A PARTY..no wait THE PARTY and that is what we got. His mix of music for all ages and not just regular music, his remixes were AWESOME not crazy but just right to keep the party going, our photographer even got on the dance floor and broke it down! In the end, you can have a party or you can have a ONCE IN A LIFETIME PARTY! We invested heavily in Zach and he did not dissappoint, I would ask him to help no questions asked if I had to do it all over again and pay him DOUBLE what he charged us! My one suggestion if you are engaged DO NOT ASSUME ALL "DJ's" ARE THE SAME! They are NOT...just like your cake, sample who you will be working with, meet with them, that was the one biggest decision that we made was to invest our time with Zach before we booked and are so glad we did.

We had Zach as our DJ for our wedding and would not have gone with anyone else!!! From the first meeting with Zach we knew he would be our DJ he was professional and knowledge yet soo incredibly personable and open to all of our ideas and also had some great modifications of his own to them! We knew from the start that we wanted a DJ who would play good music and play it well, not come in with flashing lights, yelling for our guests to get out of their seats. He said it best- he's a DJ that MCs, not an MC who DJs. Zach exceeded our expectations. Our dance floor was packed the entire night. I loved that he was discreet and we didn't have to answer any questions, think about whats next etc, he took care of it all. He was responsive and accommodating whenever we needed to set up a meeting or just ask a question. I really cannot say enough good words about Zach and am happy to say that we are now friends! I would 100% use Zach Downing Entertainment again and will absolutely recommend them to others!! If you go another direction THINK about the BIG picture, this guy is so much more than JUST A DJ!!

People always remember that ONE thing that went wrong at a major event.... never the compilation of really good things. Well I'm terrified of that ONE FLAW! I wanted everyone to remember my wedding for all of the wonderful things that it was. Well, I have to tell you that Zach went above and beyond to make sure we had an AMAZING night with absolutely NO FLAWS! Throughout our extensive planning sessions we were able to craft the perfect evening out of lots of complicated details. Seeing as my ceremony and reception were spaced out across basically 3 different large areas it was a chore keeping the party going and the dance floor hopping. It turned out better than I expected ad I think that was due to zach's ability to mold gthe room to what I wanted through busic choices and big event timing (cake cutting, food line open, bouquet toss, etc.). The reason we chose Zach was because of his Emcee capabilities. You can tell when you talk to him in person that he has experience in front of crowds and is comfortable in a speaking capacity. Not only that, but he has this ability to judge a crowd and see what will keep the night smooth. My wedding was wonderful and I owe a large part of that to how smooth and seamless the whole evening went and a big part of that was because of Zach Downing. THANK YOU!!!

Zach was so incredible throughout the process of our wedding planning. He understood what we wanted, and worked hard to bring it to fruition on the day of our wedding. He went above and beyond on our special day and was flexible to those "last minute changes" that always seem to arise. :) So, thank you, Zach! You were amazing, and you kept the energy on the dance floor alive!

Zach did such an amazing job, our wedding was flawless, we couldn't have asked for a better emcee/DJ and planner. From our first meeting to our followup meetings, we felt secure knowing that everything was going to be handled and it was. Also the online planner and helpful tools that he gave us really helped keep us on track not only for our reception but also our ceremony, it helped eliminate much stress and over-thinking on my part.
