Empire Limousine

We wanted a trolley for our wedding transportation to and from the hotel and church and back. After looking at many of the big companies, we found empire and used them. They are a small company that offers great personal service. The driver was friendly and on time.

We thought the party bus would have come with some beer or champagne, like every other company, but they don't. Our driver showed up on time and was dressed nicely, but had no idea where he was going. We had to give him directions to the church, to take pictures and how to get to the reception hall. I was slightly annoyed, especially because the driver hardly spoke any English. We had a hard time trying to get the music to work in the bus too and he was of no help. If you have epilepsy, do not use their buses. We asked ahead of time to make sure there were no lasers or flashing lights and were told there we none. When we got in, there were lasers that went off when the bus was moving. We had to use band-aids to make cover the lasers. Not the highlight of the evening. On the plus side, there is lots of room and it is priced well for a bus. If you want a drink though, make sure you BYOB!

Service was prompt. Price was good. Nice driver, who had a retro CD on hand to jam to on the way to the reception. My mom needed another form of transportation for our guests and the company wouldn't give her a deal or anything. We had a limo for the bridal party already, why not cut a deal?!?! Not super impressed, but definitely usable.

The limo driver was awesome. He was there to pick us up on time. Got us to our destination on time, took back cuts to avoid traffic. Very affordable Limo service.

We used Empire for our December wedding and we found the service to be average/ok. We used 4 different vehicles for our wedding; a shuttle bus, a limo for me and my husband, a limo to get his immediate family to the ceremony, and a differnt Town Car to transport an elderly guest. The shuttle bus was slightly late getting to the hotel to pick up guests for the ceremony, which caused them to worry and call me several times the morning of the wedding. Then unfortunatley, the shuttle was rear-ended in traffic on the way into the ceremony and this was the reason our guests didn't arrive on time, which was not his fault and at least no one was injured. On the way back I requested that the shuttle take guests down Lake Shore Drive to see the city, but he must've thought I wanted a full tour because he got off the expressway on Michigan Avenue at Christmas time and was stuck in traffic, extending their tour to over 2 hours, causing the littler guests to reuqest a potty break at a gas station. The limo driver that picked me up didn't help my dad with our bags, causing him to have to run upstairs 3 different times in his tux, but I'm not sure if maybe my Dad didn't communicate to the driver that he needed help or not. The shuttle driver that was there to run a continuous shuttle from our hotel to the reception waited too long at each drop off site that many guests decided to drive anyway because they weren't sure where he was. I will say that their prices were competitive, the vehicles were super clean, and the driver that I had was ok with making several stops in order for us to get extra photos. I would just advise you to be super clear with the drivers about what you need and expect and it should go fine. Their service was just ok; not stellar, not horrible.

Great Service

After a horrible experience with another limo company, I had to find one for our wedding only 6 weeks away! Empire Limo was my saving grace! Not only were they available, they were professional! On our first phone call they recorded directions to all of our stops, reviewed them and confirmed all of our information. The driver was very professional and actually EARLY, no charge! The limo was exactly what we ordered. Also, they charge 20% gratuity to the bill, which is nice so you don't have to carry yet another envelope that day! (unless you want to give more). The limo came fully stocked but not enough beer, which didn't last with our thirsty group, so we loaded up at one of our stops. Everything was great!
