I had a LOT of DIY decor and a very specific theme and look I was going for, and Millicent did not even bat an eye! The final room reveal was better than we ever could have imagined and we are so thankful for Millicent's creative eye and attention to detail. This was one of the many bumps in the road we encountered with the Art Factory. As many may know, just 48 hours before our wedding, we received a notification via Basecamp stating that “all future events cannot continue effective immediately.” In an instant, our plans for the past year seemed to vanish. It felt like our world had been turned upside down. On top of our venue going poof, next thing we knew our caterer was backing out. Without Melissa, we were so close to giving up because it was one thing after another. It started to feel like a wedding horror story you read on reddit!! Without Melissa, our wedding would not have happened. Her countless late-night phone calls and texts provided unwavering support during this chaotic time.
