Absolutely blown away how our wedding turned out at Enchanted Ranch. The event team here is absolutely amazing. We couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful wedding.
We booked this venue for our May 2024 wedding in July 2023. This family run business delivered on their promises, we booked our wedding before the new building was built. Not only were their renovations on time but they gave a lot of attention to the landscaping which made my wedding photos beautiful. They are highly responsive and flexible. I had a lot of older guests and I loved how accessible this venue was for us. Everyone had a great time and the staff were extremely helpful and kind.
The only thing that was not favorable were the fixed decorations in the reception hall. They were not up when we toured the new building in Dec. 2023 and while cute, they did not match the aesthetic of my wedding at all. I wish I would have been informed about it earlier so I could have planned my decoration around that. There were decorative elements I had planned (and paid for) that I could not do because of the non-moveable suspension decor. Maybe consider making that an optional piece? Regardless, I recommend this venue! I would throw an event there again.
From the moment we stepped foot onto the grounds of Enchanted Ranch, we knew it was the perfect place to say 'I do'. The picturesque surroundings, space, and excellent service made our special day truly magical. Our guests were in awe of the beauty and charm of the venue. Highly recommend this enchanting venue to any couple seeking a fairy-tale setting for their big day! Thank you to Enchanted Ranch team for a great experience especially to Ken, he was clear with expectations from the beginning to the day of event. He was flexible and helped us out in many ways to ensure we enjoyed our event. Andrew made himself available at all times.
Penjo was our day of coordinator! We added her service one week before our event and she swooped in and made everything run like a dream. From handling the vendors to making sure we were right on schedule, Penjo was our go-to for everything. She sent us multiple important reminders from arrival times to the venue, timeline, and ensuring we don’t bring any outside alcohol on site and many more. Her friendly and caring approach made us feel like we had a buddy by our side the whole time. If you want someone who feels more like a friend than just a coordinator, Penjo is the one to choose!
The venue itself is perfect. The assistant manager Andrew is great. The guy who owns it, Ken, is not very kind. He tried to change the contract multiple times after we signed it and he even got our times wrong and we could’ve been there 2 hours earlier but he conveniently left that part out even after I confirmed with him on many different instances. Overall, our wedding was perfect! I love this property it’s amazing. Just make sure you get everything in writing if you choose to book here.
In the end, Ken called me and took ownership. Our wedding day was perfect!
Let me tell you 'bout Enchanted Ranch wedding venue – it's somethin’ special! venue? Gorgeous with breathtaking sunset. Music? Top-notch. But what really stands out? Their hospitality. Ken made himself available whenever we needed anything and he answered all our questions via email and phone calls.
And Penjo? She's our Day of Coordinator. She's just a Texas-sized blessing! She made sure everythin' went off without a hitch on our big day. Wranglin' vendors, keepin' us on schedule – she did it all with that good ol' Texas charm. Thanks to her, we enjoyed every single moment. If you're lookin' for a venue with that Texas flair and a coordinator who'll make your day unforgettable, Enchanted Ranch and Penjo are the real deal. They made our wedding dreams come true, and we couldn't be happier! A mighty big thanks to Enchanted Ranch and Penjo for makin' our day absolutely perfect!
The venue is beautiful and the remodel of the inside area is great. All of the guests for our wedding loved it. Plenty of space and Ken made sure our day ran smoothly.
Unfortunately due to covid we decided to cancel our wedding event at enchanted ranch. With that being said, the venue location is gorgeous and very strategic in its various facilities throughout the property. My wife and I were bummed that we couldn't enjoy the amenities here.. In our contract we signed with the facilty it stated we were not due any kind of refund if cancelled shortly before our event which is understandable and not an issue. With my wife and I deciding to cancel we were not expecting any kind of refund or help of any kind. We called to discuss the matter and were able to come to an arrangement that satisfied both parties involved. I could not have been more happy and appreciative for the customer service and understanding in these trying times of a pandemic. These folks at enchanted ranch are down to earth and proceed with common sense to fulfill the needs of their customers. We will definitely recommend and will use the facility ourselves when we need to host big event!!! THANK YOU ENHCHANTED RANCH!!!!!
Had the best wedding. They did an awesome job and helped so much. They made our wedding come to life. We fell in love with the place even before it was fully done. Booked almost 2 years before our wedding. Thank you so much for making our wedding come true !

The day was magical! We loved every second of it!
Lisa (venues coordinator) was AMAZING to work with! Planning a wedding during a pandemic was stressful! But Lisa did everything she could to make it easy! She responded quickly and answered the hundreds of questions I had!
The venue itself is still VERY new. We knew this when booking. However, everything ran smoothly and our guests loved the venue! There is lots of room and the tent is so beautiful at night!
My only major concern is the bride/groom suites. It was HOT. Even with extra fans blowing, it was uncomfortable for most of the day.
We were also told there would be a pond at the wedding ceremony as the backdrop and it ended up being a thrown up wall. We didn’t love it, but again, being a new venue. We let it go.
Overall, this venue has amazing potential! And I have no doubt with time, it will be even better!
This place really is DIY and we personally didn’t do a
lot of decor as we thought it was all so pretty as is!
We had a live band and the stage was great and the lighting was even better! Our guests had a wonderful time and if I could do it all over, I would still go with Enchanted Ranch.
I worked with Lisa from Enchanted Ranch from start to finish for my wedding event. She was amazing!! From the initial tour, to the months leading up to the event, and throughout the entire wedding weekend, she continued to be supportive and keep the show running. My favorite thing about this venue was the all inclusive option. This made my wedding experience less stressful as I didn’t have to reach out to multiple venues. Lisa made sure everyone contacted me so we had all the details of wedding ready. The venue was perfect! Only complaint was the ac units in the bridal and groom suites were not working property. I am thankful we chose this venue. We were still able to host our wedding despite covid restrictions because the venue was outside and spacious.
Enchanted Ranch exceeded my expectations! They accommodated all of our needs & helped make everything run smoothly! Great value for money & super flexible with any DIY projects! Our guests loved the venue!
This San Marcos venue is beautiful both indoor and outdoor have a magical feel to them. If guest experience is important to you this is not the place for you. I attended a wedding in July and it was a horrible experience for everyone who attended. This location has no working air conditioning. There were 3 small fans on the wedding cake so it wouldn’t melt. All food vendors, bartenders, music and entertainment providers were drenched with sweat. Along with all 300 guest who attended this wedding. Most guest had to be outside on a 98 degree day to cool off, from inside the venue. Be mindful if you are planning your wedding there or plan to attend a wedding there soon.
The place has potential. I had my wedding there 2 weeks ago and let's just say it would have been nice to have curtains or shade to prevent the sun from blaring in, which made it very hot. My guests were so uncomfortable. I know it's hot in Texas not some curtains or tint would have sufficed. Even the bridal suite was super hot with no blinds. Also the owner asked us for a deposit the day of for damages, like we weren't busy enough. That should have been handled way before the wedding. A few days before the wedding be also asked my caterer that they had to be added on their insurance. Even after confirming that the insurance they had was fine. Overall the owners are responsive and nice but very unorganized and unprofessional. Let's just say the caterer said they'd never cater there again.
I attended a friends wedding at Enchanted Ranch and I am shocked to hear the bad reviews. I may not know the contract details but the place looks amazing. Yes, there is no pond but I’m sure it is not the owners fault that the pond did not work.
Here’s what I think of the venue, services and customer reviews
Ceremony Area: I’m very impressed on how they came up with up with a great solution to fix the ceremony site background. Luv it!
Tent: The tent is huge! People say it’s underwhelming but I have to say that Enchanted Ranch is a DIY place. You decorate your own event to your liking. The owners provided you with a great place and so it’s up to you to provide your own magic touch to satisfy yourselves and to impress your guests. The tent was not very hot. There were several air conditioners all over the tent but we are in Texas! It’s always hot. I went to a couple of weddings last year and both locations were crazy hot! I’m sure it would be the same issue if you go somewhere else maybe worse.
Sound: Excellent round system. My father was a musician so I’m very familiar with sound system. You all pay for excellent sound system guys!!!
Pergola: The pergola has this great wisteria vines. It’s not finished but it didn’t look unfinished at all. I could tell that it’s an on going project.
Parking: it’s a ranch. Again, the venues I went to last year did not have paved parking but it was not an issue. Tow trucks rarely happen unless you parked anywhere but dedicated parking spaces.
Customer Service: There’s a couple that walks around the property all the time, must be the owners. They constantly checks everything and helps everyone’s needs. Great staff!
Changing rooms: Super beautiful! My favorite spot at Enchanted Ranch.
Improvements: Mainly just little things but most definitely need the pond.
What I like the most about Enchanted Ranch is the layout of the venue. I walked around the property during the reception and the site has great plans. The venue looks young but dignified. I think the place would only look better and better each day. The structure is huge and all surrounded by glass windows. I suggest seeing the brides changing room!! It's simple with a great twist of elegance. Great customer service from staff.
