Enchantment by Crank's Catering

We had a wonderful wedding, Gwen and her team made our night magical. They were so attentive and exceed our expectations.

At the time we booked our venue, we had to also book with Crank's as they were the exclusive caterer. It left a strange taste in my mouth, but we were and are obsessed with our venue so we went with it. From the very start we ran into small problem after small problem and, after over a year and a half of trying to work with them between booking and our actual event, I am absolutely positive that we will NEVER work with or recommend them again. Issues included: incorrectly inputting my email address so I had to chase them (by phone) to receive our quote, losing touch during covid (understandable) but unable to get a call back about whether we would even get to do a taste test (we never did) or if they were going to honor our date and payment- a ~6 week turnaround time just to get a call back to be told that whoever's desk my message had landed on had simply not responded and kicked it back without telling anyone else, chasing them to give them the final head count and menu (their own contract and employees say they were supposed to call us), the building was locked and closed on the day that we were told to come and pay (thank god the accountant was there to do payroll and was able to help us), not receiving a call about when the person working our event would be coming to set up, despite the owner telling us she'd be there on THURSDAY (Friday event) and when we called her on Thursday to find out where she was she told me she DIALED MY NUMBER WRONG and now couldn't make it a day before set up happen. Admittedly lost my cool because, at that point, we're the day before our wedding and they can't even call a phone number correctly... They sent out an assistant who did come and set up on Thursday, but then texted me a half an hour after she had said she'd arrive to say that they were running late... 30 minutes before the ceremony was set to start. The food was just over room temperature, the "firework display" for the seven desserts was two plates next to the coffee cups... business cards for Crank’s everywhere! I tipped the assistant and one other employee that came to help well because they worked by themselves, but in the end we paid Crank's over $5k for hassle, stress and disappointment. If I could give 0 stars I would. Editing to add: our cake wasn't put out - my husband actually went and got it from the kitchen, and they either forgot or didn't make the "specialty plate" that they were going to prepare for him because of his dairy allergies.

Our original wedding caterer closed during covid and it was a blessing in disguise because Crank's Catering exceeded our expectations! Crank's was easy to work with, the food was amazing, the staff was very professional and kind, and left the venue spotless when they left. Guests are raving about the food weeks later (it tasted amazing left over too). We highly recommend Crank's for all catering needs!

The service was exceptional . The food was amazing . And the management team by far was the best ever from start to finish . Our special day was amazing I still hear to this day how beautiful everything was and that is all because of the amazing people that work there . Our day will always be remembered because of all of the people that made our day so special ! Thank you all so very much . From the owners to management to the staff we truly are blessed .
