Engaged Event Management

While wedding planning, I quickly realized that it couldn't be me on the big day running everything behind the scenes. I am so grateful to my husband for finding Engaged Management, which led to Kim being our coordinator. We were in touch with Engaged Management throughout the year leading up to the wedding and especially the month of. Everything went by so smoothly and I can't say enough of Kim and her team!

Incredible experience with Tara & her team We contracted with Tara and her team for my son’s wedding reception. Noteworthy things about Tara aside from her approachability, warmth, & overall professionalism: 1. Tara has her own in-built processes to keep her & her team organized for your special day. We had some internal spreadsheets & in our meetings, I saw that she always formalized those in a way that would translate well to her and her team. This way, I felt that she had our day 'under control'. 2. She pointed out things that we didn't think about that ended up becoming important for our special day. For example: signature cocktail. We didn't think about that at all & we ended up implementing it, & it was a success. 3. She is very engaged with you prior to your big day, during, & afterward to close out any open items. So that gives you the feeling that she is proactive vs. you having to follow up with her. 4. Finally, she really makes you feel like she cares about the event vs. being very transactional in nature. I appreciated that as well. Hiring Tara is not a 'nice-to-have', it is table-stakes if you want your event to be a success! Highly recommend!

From the moment we first talked, Tara immediately struck me as kind, professional, and so down to earth. I had spoken to other wedding planners and coordinators and she made me feel the most at ease, and we hired her without hesitation. In the months leading up to the wedding, Tara connected with all of our vendors and created a detailed timeline as well as an inventory list of all of our decor and signage. I thought I was organized, but Tara is on a whole other level. Let me tell you, she is THE reason our day went so smoothly. From the early morning hours of our wedding day, Tara was in contact with each vendor and even our Maid of Honor and Best Men to get an idea of how things were going. While she assisted with set up at our venue, her assistant Melissa stayed with us and our bridal party as we did photos before our ceremony. Not only did they both come equipped with emergency kits, but Melissa literally had ice packs with her incase we got too hot being outside during photos and needed to cool down. Tara's emergency kit has to be seen to be believed and quite literally saved a few of my bridesmaids that night. My two year old nephew unfortunately became ill during my reception, and not only did Tara make sure my sister in law's food was wrapped up for her since she left with him before dinner, she even offered to drive her and my nephew to the hospital. She is simply just a wonderful human being and is incredible at what she does. I would recommend Tara to anyone in a heartbeat who is looking for some extra assistance on their big day - she and her team go above and beyond and put you completely at ease. Our parents and bridal party were so struck with how incredible they both were. We cannot thank you enough, Tara!!

We cannot speak highly enough of Tara. I didn’t think we needed a coordinator and thought I could do everything myself. I was so wrong. Tara took so much of the weight off our shoulders, asked us questions we didn’t even think of, and resolved the missing pieces to give us the best day ever. She had great ideas to share and an excellent list of vendors for us to contact. She was also present for our meetings with the venue and advocated for us when one vendor was getting unresponsive. Every penny towards Tara was worth it. I would hire Tara as a life organizer if I could! On the wedding day, I didn’t have to lift a finger as she took care of everything and more, perfectly executing my vision so that all I had to do was sit by the side of my new husband. Anyone in the East/Central PA region should utilize Tara as their coordinator.

I wish I could give 6 stars! Tara and Kim were unmatched. They made everything run perfectly in the lead up to and the actual wedding. They let us take a step back confidently and not worry about everything coming together as we’d imagined. And they did it all so calmly and kindly. They were the perfect combo of reassuring, accommodating, patient, and amazingly adept at their jobs! I can’t imagine a better coordinating experience and so can’t recommend them more highly. As anyone who has ever been through the process knows, planning a wedding can be wonderful and fun, but also extremely overwhelming and stressful. Thank goodness for Tara! From our very first phone call, Tara was so positive, detailed oriented and helpful, that my now-husband and I knew we were in the best hands possible. She is professional, responsive, proactive and has this amazing energy that is upbeat and calming at the same time – she has a passion for what she does. Tara was very helpful with recommending vendors and also helped with the many small details that we hadn’t thought of. On the day of the wedding, she made a detailed timeline and breakdown of the day and coordinated it all with our vendors. Everyone was able to stay on the same page, and the whole day flowed seamlessly. She was there not only for my husband and I, but also our family and bridal party as well (all of whom loved her!) We really couldn’t have pulled off our big day without Tara. She was with us every step of the way, and was such a huge support. We will always be grateful to her, and would recommend her in a heartbeat.

My now-husband and I hired Tara as our day-of-coordinator for our wedding. Even though her title was "Day-of-coordinator," she did so much more than just on the day of our wedding! Not only did she help set up and take-down our decor (which looked amazing thanks to her and her assistant, Rachel, and they made sure it got all got packed back up safely), she also helped with vendor recommendations, our timeline, coordinating with all of our vendors leading up to our day, providing recommendations on decor, and so so much more. Tara's attention to detail was phenomenal with her asking questions (from her huge and extremely helpful list) that we haven't even thought about yet. She was extremely pleasant and helpful to work with and we are so pleased we had her by our side on our big day! While my husband and I had ideas of how everything should be set-up, Tara made it come to life and truly helped us out with anything we asked on the day of our wedding (even bringing drinks when she saw us empty-handed)! She was so accommodating and helpful throughout the night. She brought us a tray of our hors d'oeuvres since we were walking around mingling during the cocktail hour. Also her amazing emergency suitcase assisted not just us, but even our guests! She also worked to adjust her event management to our style. She was so flexible and asked if we wanted to confirm every detail with her or if it was okay to for her to have free rein over certain details, depending on what worked best for us, which we truly appreciated! We have no complaints about our wedding and were blown away by how fantastic everything went, all thanks to the Engaged Management Team. Thank you again for everything!

Hiring Tara was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding! She went completely above and beyond and made my husband and I feel so comfortable about every aspect of the wedding. During the weeks leading up to the wedding, she covered so many little details that we would have never even thought of but turned out to be absolutely crucial. When the wedding day came, I was in awe that my husband and I did not have to worry about a thing - Tara and her team took care of every single detail with all vendors and guests. During the reception, my flower girl got an awful bloody nose that got all over her dress, so Tara took it, scrubbed it and dried it so that my niece could put it back on. Again - above and beyond!
