Caroline Bean made our wedding so smooth, so meaningful and enjoyable for everyone there (including us which to be honest we weren't necessarily expecting). We had multiple safety concerns with Covid and guests with specific safety concerns as well which led to redoing most aspects of our wedding at least once, which Caroline totally handled and made much less challenging than I anticipated. I really think we would not have had a wedding without her, and as it was we had such a great one with a ton of special touches. I should also note that all of the vendors she recommended were excellent and extremely professional.

I found Engaging Events through my venue and I could not have been more thrilled with them. From my first conversation with Caroline I knew I wanted her and the team to be the ones helping me make the big day perfect. I explained how I'd worked in the industry and therefore would notice when things were off, I explained I was finishing law school and would need to be studying for/taking the bar exam so all planning needed to be done well in advance, and they beyond delivered. When Covid hit Caroline was there to assure us everything was ok especially since we live in another state. On the day of everything was organized and handled professionally and without us having to do anything other than smile for the camera and move from place to place. If you are looking from a team that will beyond succeed your expectations and be there for you when things potentially get tough, this is your team. On the floral side, Cindy did amazing work! My flowers looked incredible and they even accommodated my wanting to attach my grandmother's rings on my bouquet which made it extra special for me since they are no longer with us. For those brides that aren't familiar with the area they also help with choosing great vendors, so really they are the best team any bride and groom could ask for!

My mom, my husband, and I worked with Engaging Events to plan our destination wedding at Wild Dunes on Isle of Palms on May 18, 2019 and it was truly a dream come true! From my first calls with Cindy Zingerella and Caroline Bean, I could tell that they were true professionals who knew exactly what they were doing. From knowing exactly what time sunset would be on the date we had chosen, to suggesting a wonderful officiant with whom we developed a genuine relationship over the months of planning, to capturing our vision PERFECTLY, to finding amazing vendors, to keeping everyone and everything organized, literally NO detail went unaddressed. My husband and I run a business together, and we both have strong personalities, so keeping us on track and focused was a job in and of itself, and Cindy and Caroline kept us moving forward with efficiency and grace. While planning the wedding was a lot of work and could be frustrating at times, Cindy, Caroline and Gabrielle, who joined our team later on in the process, all did an amazing job of removing friction for us throughout the process. When the wedding weekend was finally upon us, all the hard work paid off and I can honestly say, I was not stressed AT ALL. I had had nightmares about becoming a bridezilla or just being so stressed I couldn't enjoy it, but it was the complete opposite of that. I was LITERALLY on cloud nine for the entire weekend and my husband felt the same way. I attribute so much of that to the foresight, organization, and professionalism of Cindy and the entire Engaging Events Team. Our band was amazing, the food was delicious, our arbor, bouquets and flower arrangements were FLAWLESS, and we are so lucky that we found Cindy and Caroline to bring it all together and help us have what was truly the best day of our lives.

We loved working with Engaging Events. Caroline did an amazing job the day of the wedding...definitely would not have been able to get everyone organized without her. Their in-house floral team did an outstanding job on our floral arrangements. Our main centerpiece was breathtaking. Highly recommend using Engaging Events!

Caroline and Clellan were a dream team to work with. I honestly don't know what I'd do if I didn't have Caroline as my wedding planner. She is the sweetest person, super organized, and always available whenever I needed to ask her a question. She was so helpful in the whole process, I am so glad we chose her. We met with Clellan once to discuss flowers and let me just say I had NO CLUE what flowers were what that she was saying. I just told her my wedding style and the colors I liked and she literally turned my wedding into a farmhouse dream. She knew exactly what I wanted/liked. I can't thank her enough for making my wedding so beautiful. I even preserved my wedding bouquet and my husband's boutinierre so that I can be reminded of just how beautiful it was. Thank you SO much Engaging Events. Highly recommend!!!!

We got married October of this year, and I can say with absolute certainty that the wedding would have not been what it was without Engaging Events! Cindy and her team are dedicated from the first day you hire them to making your wedding or event absolutely everything that you want it to be. Cindy knows vendors and event planning inside and out! Was able to predict our guest count to with in 5! Her attention to detail is unparalleled, nothing is unthought of, and the venue, timing of the event and mood of the entire evening transform into YOUR wedding. My biggest piece of advice is to hire her and her team, and TRUST her - she knows the industry and she makes it her business to know you! I didn't have to worry about one thing on my wedding day because I felt so certain that it was in the most capable hands! We worked with Caroline Bean at Engaging Events, and she was the most important part of our wedding planning process. Caroline was incredibly professional - she was helpful, listened to our preferences, and gave us honest opinions on appropriate topics. The Engaging Events team was very knowledgeable about the market, generally and in Charleston, and often had great recommendations based on other weddings they had recently done. Caroline also seamlessly worked directly and behind the scenes with our venue coordinators and the relationship appeared to be very amicable and professional. The night of the wedding, Caroline coordinated everything beautifully - she approached us to ask appropriate questions, and otherwise directed the flow of the wedding seamlessly. We were looking for a lot of help and guidance and the team was ideal for that, and given how closely they listened to our preferences and needs, I also think they would be great for those who have a firmer wedding vision. I couldn't recommend Caroline and the Engaging Events team highly enough.

We had an amazing experience with Engaging Events. We worked with Caroline and she truly made our wedding day PERFECT and stress-free. Having Caroline's help leading up to and the day of the wedding ended up being way more valuable than I could have imagined. My fiance, our families and our bridal party all loved working with her. She thought of everything proactively and was so on top of all of our decisions and timelines. She is one of the most organized people I've ever met and worked so hard - the day of the wedding she was the first one there before I woke up and and the last one to leave! Most importantly, Caroline was so kind and just a lovely person to get to know. On our wedding day, our fiance and I didn't have to worry about a thing - we were just enjoying ourselves with guests and we knew that Caroline would get us all where we needed to be when we needed to be there - and she was so patient and caring through it all. I don't know how she does what she does! So thankful for her!

Caroline was amazing! We were able to plan our wedding from CT stress free. After helping us plan, create a timeline and pick out the perfect floral arrangements, she helped us execute it all flawlessly. A month of/ day of corrdinator does not get much better than this!

Caroline and Cindy were an absolute PLEASURE to work with! Caroline took my wedding vision and brought it to life. She is organized, responsive, helpful, kind, and gets the job done. My wedding day could not have gone more smoothly thanks to her! I highly recommend using them, they are FANTASTIC!

We used Engaging Events for their Month of Wedding Service. They were absolutely wonderful. Caroline did an amazing job and is the definition of organization. I was a little lost on what to do for the dinner table centerpieces and Caroline came up with a fabulous floral arrangement that fit our theme. She did a great job on the wedding day timeline and made sure every little detail was covered and taken care of. She kept us on track though out the evening and also during the planning process making sure we got everything done and did not forget anything. A successful wedding must include Caroline and Engaging Events.

Caroline Bean was the best. She made the planning and the whole process and especially the wedding day easy. She kept my daughter, the bride, stress free even though she was doing the planning from Pennsylvania. Caroline was patient, organized, informative, helpful and thoughtful! The best money spent in the budget was on Caroline and Engaging Events! She also helped us doing all the flowers with Clelland through Engaging Events and they were perfect - exactly what my daughter wanted! One meeting with Clelland and she captured my daughter's vision exactly - and expanded and improved it - to make it perfect. I cannot recommend them any higher - no matter how tight your budget is, Caroline and Engaging Events are well worth every cent!

Cindy, Caroline, and Clellan helped my wedding dreams become a reality! Everything I could have imagined and more made my wedding day absolutely perfect. Cindy and her staff are professional, organized and will work tirelessly to get you exactly what you want within your budget. She has an extensive list of vendors in the Charleston area and only presents the ones that work with your personality and budget. I am originally from Charleston but had to plan my wedding from a distance - Cindy was my eyes, ears and boots on the ground! She did a great job of navigating family dynamics while making sure that my groom and I got exactly what we needed. Thank you Cindy for the PERFECT day. The only bad thing about the wedding was the fact that it went by too fast!

We were extremely pleased with the ease of working with Engaging Events as their availability, planning, design, and execution were unbeatable. Ours was a destination wedding in Charleston, on the weekend between Christmas and New Years. We were able to make a few trips to meet with the team but I don't really know if it was necessary. Engaging Events had ideas complimentary (and better!) to ours, inventory and ordering schedules anticipated for such a busy holiday time period. As beautiful as we thought it would be, our venue and every little detail far exceeded our expectations...FAR EXCEEDED. We also took advantage of the day-of coordinator services. This service is with every penny as we met for rehearsal and walked through it all. I think it makes a difference when the coordinator is integrally tied to the planning company as it is one less line of communication that can break down. I wanted my family to enjoy the day, not work through it, and that is exactly what happened.

My husband and I were planning our Charleston wedding while still living in Baltimore, which turned out to be a stressful nightmare! We went down to Charleston to interview 5 different wedding planners, and although Cindy was a bit over our budget, we knew we wanted her help as soon as we met her! She was our first of five meetings over 3 days, and we kept comparing all the other planners to Cindy. She not only told us how seasoned she is in planning, she had albums upon albums to showcase her beautiful work. Being a stressed out bride in the months leading up to our big day, there were times that I felt like she wasn't responding as quickly as I wanted her to. Now, in hindsight, I know the questions I was asking didn't need immediate attention that far away from our wedding, and she always got back to me within a day. However, as we got closer to our date, and certainly in the month leading up to it, she was INCREDIBLE!! She was so attentive, and I now know that that is why she couldn't always immediately answer me 8 months earlier--once it's your time, you will feel like you are the only bride she is working with!! I knew that Cindy would make our lives easier on our wedding day, but did not realize how absolutely stress-free we would be because of her help! The best part about having her as a planner was having my parents absolutely enjoy the day and night of our wedding because Cindy had taken care of EVERYTHING! I'm sure there were a million things that didn't go as planned, but no one in my family knew about a single one! She truly is wonder woman! The reception was beautifully decorated, she recommended an AMAZING caterer, and even a year later, all of our friends are still talking about how it was the best wedding they've ever attended!! If you're looking for someone to take all of the stress that may make you a bridezilla and handle it herself, then Cindy is your girl!! I can't thank her enough for making our wedding weekend so incredible, and allowing us to enjoy every second!!

My husband and I used Engaging Events to do day-of coordination for our wedding. We were very impressed with how well Caroline handled organizing all of the details on the big day. Furthermore, she very skillfully handled my mother when she became a little over-involved. I did think that the services were very expensive, given that the assistant was not included in the original price, but in the end it was definitely worth it to have somebody else handling all of the details on the wedding day.

When I started wedding planning, I really did not feel I needed a coordinator or anybody to help me with the wedding. As planning progressed, I started to envision our poolside reception transformed into a modern, chic cocktail event. I initially thought I was going to be able to do the decorating the day of (clearly not thinking straight). After much thought I decided to look into wedding coordinators that specialize in design and see if it can fit into the budget. I contacted and spoke to many wedding planners but Cindy came out as the one I wanted to entrust with my wedding. From the initial conversation, I could tell that she understood what I wanted and was willing to go above and beyond to make it happen. She had a design and décor package with an optional day of coordination add-on. We were undecided on the day-of option but after our first face-to-face meeting with Cindy, we knew that we could not do it without Cindy coordinating on our wedding day. We live in Raleigh therefore we were planning our wedding long distance. We could only visit Charleston twice prior to the wedding. Cindy ensured that our meetings were productive and time well spent in ironing out details. She had so many wonderful ideas with regard to design and décor. Every event she designs truly is unique. We left every meeting with her more excited about our wedding day because she has a gift in understanding her clients' needs and being able to envision and execute it flawlessly. She knows how to add that special décor touch to make it an awe-inspiring special event. The day of, she planned and coordinated it more than I could have imagined. My husband and I still talk about how Cindy was the one vendor that we absolutely could not live without during this whole process. She went above and beyond in every aspect of our wedding...even in areas I never expected her to take care of. She truly cares about the bride and groom's big day. I admire and am so thankful for her dedication, commitment, and focus to make it the dream that every wedding should be. Every bride deserves Cindy by her side throughout the wedding process. I told Cindy in my thank you note but I can't say enough how thankful I am that she was in charge of our big day. She was professional, organized, and just top notch. I have no regrets with hiring Cindy and I guarantee you will not either!!!
