I recently officiated a wedding that Scott dj'ed and handled the sound for, and I really wanted to send him a special thank you for being such a great professional and great human. I've officiated 6 weddings for friends but this was the first one post-Covid, and Scott's professionalism and flexibility really made a huge difference for me and the anxiety I was feeling after a long lay-off from this sort of thing... making me feel a lot more comfortable and able to relax and enjoy the event and do a really excellent job for the bride and groom. I am confident when it comes to finding the words and performing the ceremony, but worrying about the sound equipment and cues is a big source of stress for me. It's hard to be fully present as an officiant while trying to remember the cues and technical details other DJs kind of just dictated to me. Scott was the first wedding dj who, when I wanted to avoid dealing with a hand mic or that sort of thing, just had the attitude of "no problem, you worry about your job, and I'll make sure you sound great." Instead of "remember these technical details and cues or else the audio will be lousy". And on top of that he just has a really great, encouraging, positive attitude. It's obvious from a mile away he loves what he does, and that making wedding days special is a calling for him and not just a gig or job. I've been in the military and private healthcare, and I'm just very cognizant of and appreciative of people who have a total mastery of what they do, and a great attitude that makes everyone around them more confident and makes the mission not just more successful but more enjoyable. This is the first time I've been so moved by a wedding vendor's performance and attitude that I tracked them down so I could thank them and write a review for them. Thank you so much Scott, and if you're reading this looking for a wedding dj who is going to do more than spin tracks and run the microphones- somebody who knows and loves weddings and will lend his confidence and positivity and energy to everyone involved- Scott is your man.

We had our wedding this past spring, and got Scott's name from the wedding planner at the hotel where we held the event. From the time we met, we felt immediately comfortable with him. DJ Scott was the absolute best! I can’t recommend him enough. From start to finish, our experience with him was amazing - ceremony mic/music, lighting, cocktail hour music, his Magic Mirror photobooth, and of course the reception music! He’s high energy, extremely organized and very intuitive. My husband and I had two prep calls with Scott, where he walked through the wedding ceremony process all the way through to the final dance. He had ideas and presented options for each step of the way, while giving us space to make the final decisions and ensuring he could go with whatever we decided. He practiced name pronunciations with us, made sure he understood the family dynamics (divorced parents), and reassured us we’d have a fun, dance filled night. While some vendor calls can be stressful, his calls always made my husband and I excited and at ease. The day off, he checked in with us a few times on key questions but otherwise he was reading the room about the music being played and what people liked and adjusting to what he saw. We had a lot of songs/genres on the request list so Scott would often mix them together and that kept the energy up and avoided lulls where people get bored. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how much fun they had, how much they danced (even the people who usually don’t!), how cool the Magic Mirror was, and how beautiful the lighting/room was.

Scott was the DJ at our wedding in August. During our first meeting with Scott, we both left feeling very excited about our wedding. Scott’s enthusiasm continued all through our planning together. I got married on 9/23/23 in Salem, MA and had such an amazing experience with Scott. From our first initial call he was energetic, excited, and most importantly ready to take on all of my wild ideas. Scott was great with communication and was open to having multiple meetings via call and in-person. He was able to keep the dancefloor packed all night long with great remixes and super fun dance lighting. I had a special grand entrance, and he created a custom light sequence to highlight it. The best comment I received was from a guest who mentioned that his wife never dances, and she danced the whole night because the music that was playing was great for all generations. Our guests were RAVING about Scott after the wedding!! He was incredible in MCing our night and getting our guests to dance on the dance floor! We had Scott DJ our wedding and we could not have been more happy with our decision! Scott was truly amazing throughout the whole process. I cannot recommend Scott enough for your DJ needs! We hired Scott for our wedding in June and he was absolutely amazing, everything we had hoped for! He was extremely responsive and made us feel very comfortable leading up to the wedding. Where do I begin… If you do not hire this gem of a guy to do your wedding you are missing out! Our wedding was nothing less than enchanting and Scott Sica was a HUGE part in making this happen. This guy is truly amazing. We can't say enough good things about him as a person, and as a DJ. Scott was recommend by a friend who is also a DJ. We had a zoom meeting with Scott to see if we were a good fit. Right off the bat we knew we wanted him running our event. We had two meetings before the wedding to make sure he had all the music we wanted and schedule of events. Our wedding was nothing less than perfect at the Pierce House in Lincoln, MA on July 17, and Scott was a big factor in making that happen. He was a pleasure to work with. We met with him, both on the phone and in person, to discuss the timeline of the day and music selections, many of which he suggested. His equipment was setup in three locations at the venue with the speakers all at the optimal volume. He was gracious and entertaining to the quests who danced from the start to finish. Emily & Josh– Boston, MA We cannot put into words how grateful we are that we chose Scott to be our DJ on 6.18 at the Hawthorne Hotel. He already had a great relationship with the hotel staff and knew exactly how to set up which made it that much more stress free. Scott met with us prior to our wedding where we created a playlist together and really got to know us. He gave us suggestions, had us answer questions to make the day completely stress-free, and really did great working with a timeline. Not only did he do an amazing job with the music but his uplighting was unreal as well, creating a mosaic that I had envisioned which became a staple at our wedding. He went above and beyond for not only Josh and I but for our guests and had everyone on the dancefloor for well over 4 hours, even accepting an encore. To say that we were pleased and happy would be an understatement– he is simply the best and we promise if you book him it’ll be the best decision you could make.

DJ Scott was amazing, from the first time we met with him for our original May 2020 wedding date to our 4th wedding date in May 2022 he was wonderful. Excellent communication throughout the process, listen to all our thoughts and was open to me providing a playlist of some songs we'd like. Fast forward to our celebration and I did not stop dancing all night long. Everyone raved about the music, loving his throw back choices and kept the energy up all night. The up-lighting was a last minute add and I'm so glad we did it-it looked amazing in the photos!

Scott did a great job for our wedding. He met with us multiple times to pick out the music we wanted, ask questions and make suggestions. He made sure he was aligned with the schedule for our wedding and made suggestions on how to improve the flow. He had a great setup including multiple uplights, spotlights, laser light projectors, sound and the disco ball setup. He setup in plenty of time and broke down promptly. I would hire Scott over any other DJ we have worked with. He is highly recommended, give him a call!

I can not recommend Scott enough! From the first phone call, up until my wedding everything was absolutely perfect. Scott went above and beyond and was extremely accommodating. He made sure the uplighting matched our wedding colors, the back drop on our photo booth matched and he even offered to video the ceremony and reception for us! The music at our reception was on point with everything we had discussed and he even made our wedding song slower for us, so we could have our first dance perfectly. When you plan your wedding you have this idea of how everything will be and having the right DJ, by choosing Scott, helped us have the dream wedding I’ve been picturing since I started planning. I cannot recommend Scott enough. From the day we met with him, a year out from the wedding, to the day of, he was nothing short of incredible. Not only is he an incredible person to work with, but he is incredible at every aspect of his job. Scott's personality radiates excitement and passion and his knowledge and expertise is second to none; he truly was made for this job. He was not only organized himself but helped us organize our entire event, including aspects that did not involve DJ or sound services and really did go ABOVE AND BEYOND in aspects we never expected to get from our DJ. He helped us edit songs for our first dances, coordinated our entrances, helping us with our overall wedding timeline, gave us suggestions and ideas for all aspects of the wedding, created a truly special NYE countdown, and so, so much more. Hiring Scott was probably one of the best decisions we made throughout the entire wedding process and we could not recommend him enough. I am saving his contact for when my own sisters get married someday, he's THAT good.

5/5, but only because 6/5 is not an option. In my interactions with Scott leading up to the big day, he was very professional, highly thorough, and always courteous. He knows exactly what questions to ask, and what to expect when DJing for a wedding (and probably any other big event, to be honest). He was open to a lot of input from us, the couple, but in scenarios when we weren't specific about what we wanted, Scott was able to fill the time perfectly. It was actually during one of these times when my brother-in-law said, "What is the name of this song?! This DJ is good!" Stop reading these reviews, and send Scott an email.

Scott was amazing for our wedding!! We were originally going to have our wedding in October of 2020 but with the pandemic we rescheduled for November of 2021. During the whole process of having to change dates, Scott was responsive and supportive. In the beginning we only booked him for our reception but realized a few months before the wedding we would need someone for the ceremony and cocktail hour. He was very accommodating and gave a extremely fair add on price for the extra time. The day of he was more than I could ever imagine! Our wedding was Disney themed and he listened to all our requests with no judgement. I am not someone who likes to dance, but I was out on the dance floor almost the whole reception!! The music was just what we were looking for and was very accommodating to my sensory needs. We also booked the magic mirror photobooth as a surprise for the guests and it was MAGICAL. Everyone at the wedding said it was their favorite part of the whole night. I am so thankful we booked Scott for our wedding!

We are so happy that we worked with Scott for our wedding! Scott handled all of the music/sound/emceeing on our big day including our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, and everything was absolutely seamless. Scott was proactive with me during the planning process which I really appreciated. He kept me on top of everything and made himself available for multiple planning conversations whenever I was ready to have them. Scott made sure that I was thinking about and providing all the right details so that he could run our day effectively. When it came to the day itself, Scott took care of everything we had discussed and I didn't have to worry about a thing. Most importantly, our guests had a blast at our wedding and the dance floor was PACKED all night long! Scott knew exactly how to play the right mix of songs to keep people energized and having fun throughout the whole event. We couldn't have hoped for anything better!

Do yourself a HUGE favor and hire Scott for your wedding. He was wonderful to work with throughout every stage of planning, listened to exactly what we wanted, and managed the production of our wedding from ceremony to reception literally perfectly, even when some last-minute changes came up. Our reception was an absolute blast because of Scott's amazing playlists and pacing. One of my recently-engaged bridesmaids even wanted to hire him for her own wedding on the spot because our reception was so awesome. Thanks for everything, Scott, you were amazing!

Scott did a wonderful job with our wedding from planning through the uncertainty of a pandemic to execution on the day of the event. He was well prepared, always calm and professional, and went above and beyond to make sure things went smoothly. Even when our venue dropped the ball in a few areas (some unrelated to his services), he was right there offering to help sort things out. Scott was well organized with the music and order of events as well, communicating with us in advance to figure out what we wanted, and didn't want. He even had a few suggestions we hadn't even thought of and was able to accommodate a few unforeseen changes last minute. The up lighting he provided fit the venue perfectly during dinner and the switch to "party mode" for dancing was awesome. The magic mirror photo booth was also a big hit with our guests. We could not have asked for a better experience with a DJ and cannot recommend him highly enough.

Scott was great to work with from start to finish and I would highly recommend him for a wedding or event! He was very responsive to emails and questions, always had helpful suggestions, and was a true professional. He truly executed everything perfectly on our big day!

Pre-wedding, he was thorough in understanding our tastes and preferences and making recommendations where we needed an outside POV. Pre- and post-wedding he was thorough and thoughtful in his setup and cleanup. And during the wedding, both the ceremony and the reception, he was spot on: the audio setup worked perfectly for our outdoor ceremony, the music and dancing playlist were perfect for our group and to our personal tastes, and he was friendly and energetic throughout the evening. I strongly recommend Scott for your wedding or event.

Cannot recommend Scott enough. He was enthusiastic throughout the planning process and was receptive to all of our questions and requests up to the minute of the reception. Flexible with meeting and planning, and as accommodating as possible. Our room was beautifully lit, our guests loved the photo booth, and everyone said he did a phenomenal job as DJ and MC. He did a specialized announcement for the entrance of the bridal party, edited the song for our first dance, and was as hands on as we asked him to be when we needed him to be. One of the best vendors we hired.

When searching for a DJ you hope for someone you can connect with. Scott well exceeded all of our wildest expectations and we couldn’t be more thankful for it. He played songs we requested, song types we hoped to hear and even very specific songs at specific times of the night that added a magical touch. Our ceremony and reception were bilingual and we were nervous about our guests not understanding what Scott was going to say but that was not the case! The best decision we could have made was hiring Scott and the second best was getting the Magic Mirror he offers! Thank you Scott!! You will definitely see us again!

DJ Scott Sica was absolutely phenomenal. When we began planning our wedding, neither my husband nor I really knew what to look for in a DJ. Another vendor recommended Scott to us and we are so appreciative that he did! DJ Scott Sica has tremendous passion, energy, and options to customize his services and approach to really fit us and our wedding style. Scott was very communicative and patient with us throughout the process. When DJ Scott Sica really shone was at our wedding! He truly grasped and created our vision and wedding vibe! We received several compliments specifically on our DJ during and after our wedding. The cherry on top is that Scott is truly a nice guy. As I learned a few days later, our post-wedding reception ended with Scott helping my mom look for her car keys (after he was all cleaned up and well within his job description to have left). Weddings are so special (and stressful) that having vendors who are communicative, organized, and genuinely good people is crucial; DJ Scott Sica did not disappoint!

We hired Scott Sica for our wedding and he was absolutely incredible! The planning process was so easy with him, and he was so flexible with all the added changes I wanted. We added on the photobooth, and he even did a custom Jurassic Park logo for us to display on monitors on the dance floor (we had a subtle Jurassic Park theme). I bought some cameos to show my husband during dinner, and Scott and his assistant did an awesome countdown display for them. The music, the lights, the extras were all so much more that I could’ve asked for on our day. He seriously went above and beyond and everyone hit the dance floor. We ended up extending the time because everyone was dancing up through to the end. So many of our guests kept talking about how amazing Scott was even weeks after the wedding! We are so glad we hired him! The best night of my life with all my friends and family together in one place- Such great memories and everything was PERFECT! Scott you are amazing! Scott is absolutely the best DJ you can get in the North Shore area! He is professional, fun and his passion for DJing really shows as he stays up to date on technology and music to ensure the best experience. Not only did Scott make the day a blast, he also made planning fun, easy, and laid back - whatever you want he will do! for instance I had him merge 2 songs together for my father daughter dance and he nailed it. If you are thinking of getting a photobooth, GET IT! Scott lets to pick any backdrop you may want even if it isn't in his collection. The open air set up is easy and he provides props for added fun. what I wasn't expecting is not only do you get a print of the photos, but you get a link to download the still shots and a gif! very fun and different. If you are getting married or have an event at the Hawthorne Hotel in Salem, you are done looking for your DJ because Scott is the one for you!

Scott was so amazing and did a phenomenal job foe our June 2021 wedding. Scott is very personable and and he took the time to get to know me and then fiancé and our vision for our wedding. It was not easy planning a wedding during Covid but Scott was extremely supportive. He knew how much I love 80’s music and he delivered!! My husband and I got married in May of 2021 and had Scott as our DJ for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. We cannot say enough good things about him!! He was amazing!! Scott was one of the very first vendors we booked for our wedding. He was so high-energy and so enthusiastic right from the beginning, even as we were trying to navigate wedding planning in Covid. Scott is so much fun and it is clear he has tons of experience - he knows how to keep the evening running perfectly. He is open to any and all requests but is also flexible and will add in his own thoughts/songs according to your requests. We really appreciated how he went totally above and beyond including coordinating with other vendors, doing multiple site visits (we had to change venues a few times due to Covid guidelines), and just maintaining the most positive and upbeat attitude as we were stressed with Covid guidelines changing our plans so many times. He also provided the lighting for our wedding and it really added to the atmosphere. Scott is the perfect addition for your wedding/event! We highly recommend him!

Scott was amazing to work with. He was so patient with us as we were planning our daughter's wedding through the pandemic. Because we moved the wedding to our home, he helped with all of the electrical requirements, and he connected us to other vendors for other services. The wedding was amazing. The dance floor was full the entire night. We had very diverse guests and everyone had a great evening! I would highly recommend him.

I’d give 10 stars if I could. I’m originally from NYC & was looking for an affordable DJ in Massachusetts. I couldn’t have found a better DJ & MC than Scott. He handled music from my culture & generation flawlessly. He also kept the flow of the ceremony & reception seamless. My guests had an absolute blast! What’s great is I just kinda gave him a vague outline with only a few songs on a Spotify list to go by. Scott read the crowd perfectly. My guests are still talking about my wedding. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. He also came with a photo booth and attendant. Great services for a great price. If your in Massachusetts and need a DJ, contact and book Scott.

We booked the mirror photo booth after I met Scott Sica at the wedding expo in Quincy, MA pre-covid. Scott was responsive and easy to work with especially during a worldwide pandemic. Judy was our attendant the night of the wedding and she was helpful and fun! Our guests loved the photobooth and we did too! The quality of the pictures are great. Would highly recommend!

Scott was our DJ for a smaller wedding with COVID guidelines. He was amazing! He was so accommodating to all of our needs and did everything in a safe, enjoyable, professional fashion! Having Scott DJ our wedding was one of our best decisions! We had a small ceremony due to COVID and Scott was extremely flexible and accommodating. He helped coordinate sound with our videographers, which made everything go really smoothly. He showed up early and even left us a speaker after the ceremony so we could continue playing music throughout the day. Would highly recommend!

Scott was great to work with, not only on our wedding day but he took lots of care in planning in the days and weeks leading up to it. He made effort to get to know us and our vision and captured everything we asked for. My only tip for future couples is to be sure to be explicit about songs you want and don't want. Scott is very organized at asking for these lists, and we probably should have added more to it. But that said, Scott was very adaptive to changing songs or versions we didn't like during the reception. You can certainly tell he is passionate about his work and will go to great lengths to ensure you are satisfied with every minute of your day. Thanks Scott!

Scott Sica was the DJ of our dreams. My husband and I have eclectic tastes in music (pop punk meets showtunes meets Disney) and music is so important to us and our relationship. Scott was able to seamlessly integrate all of our favorite things while mixing in some more traditional dance music for our guests. Scott was available at any time we had a question or requested to consult. We had 2 in person meetings and were constantly in contact throughout our wedding planning. Not only did Scott provide great dance music and lighting, he organized our ceremony, dinner, and cocktail hour to our exact needs. He set up an awesome slideshow for our cocktail hour and everyone loved our green screen photobooth. We could not thank Scott enough for making our day as perfect as we imagined.
