Working with Epic Entertainment was amazing! Anthony selflessly came in to help us in a difficult situation and was always very communicative and easy to work with. Planning prior to the wedding was very stress relieving knowing that we had someone so experienced to help us run the ceremony and reception, and the day-of went so smoothly. The music was great and Anthony was just a great addition to our fantastic list of vendors. We are so grateful!

Epic Entertainment is the best! We could not be happier that we chose Epic Entertainment for our wedding. The portal made planning in advance super easy. All our correspondences were responded to very quickly and thoughtfully. Our ceremony was in a different location than our reception, both with live musicians and Hakeem killed it as DJ (and sound guy!). We also had the Epic photo booth and it was a huge hit. We had the immense pleasure of having Anthony as our DJ for our wedding, and we can’t sing his praises highly enough! From the moment we first reached out to him, he was personable, approachable, had a great sense of humor and incredibly helpful. His warm and engaging personality made the planning process a breeze, and he was always quick in his response time. He also was super patient with us with answering our many questions and always ready to help. On our wedding day, he brought the party to life with his Dj skills and personality. During the reception he had amazing time management skills and organization. He made sure to check in with us about who was who and giving a speech. Also he was fantastic and made sure that my family member who was unable to attend our wedding was still able to do her speech, which was such a special touch. Epic Entertainment was an absolute joy to work with! We worked with Sal for our wedding and he made all of the planning logistics very simply and clear. The online planning portal is very user friendly, and we had the opportunity to discuss on the phone for more granular plans. Also, Sal was very flexible and accommodating day of, as we had a couple surprise festivities from our wedding party! The music itself was amazing and exactly how we wanted it! All of our guests had a blast! Would definitely recommend Sal and Epic Entertainment for your future events!

Sal was absolutely incredible! So organized and flexible and took our music requests and ran with it. You could tell during the open dancing that he'd adjust his music based on what would hit and what wouldn't. I couldn't recommend him and Epic Entertainment more. You're in good hands with them!!

We had the pleasure of being assigned Hakeem for our wedding and he was AMAZING - I could not recommend him more! He helped guide us in the right direction regarding the length of the different dances and what type of music tends to get people on the dancefloor. The day ran so smoothly and the dance floor was SO lively all night - which is exactly what we wanted. We curated a playlist of over six hours of music and he used that playlist to create the PERFECT vibe for our dance floor! We got SO MANY compliments on our music from all of our wedding guests - we are STILL getting comments on the music and the overall vibes on the dancefloor!

Our amazing coordinator suggested hiring Epic Entertainment for our wedding, and we're SO glad we did! From the very beginning they were very professional, responsive, and so fun to work with. Due to rainy weather, our wedding day did not go as planned and we had to change a lot of things last minute. DJ Hakeem was so flexible and easy to work with, and kept playing music during the chaos that kept the energy up, made our guests laugh, and overall helped everyone still have an amazing time despite the rainy weather. He was so helpful during the craziness and rolled with the changes so well, always asking us along the way if there was anything we needed or anything more he could do for us. He also stealthily moved the uplighting from the original location to the new location so we could still get the desired look we were wanting, and it looked amazing. We're so thankful we had Hakeem because he made sure we all still had fun during the craziness of the day, and threw an epic dance party throughout it all! The communication was not as good as I would have liked; it wasn’t completely their fault due to the venue/3rd person communication. When speaking directly with Sal at Epic the communication was 100% better. Sal with Epic, rocked the music on our wedding day without error and everyone danced from the very first song….. all night! Thank you Sal!!

We worked with Epic on our wedding in Pismo Beach. Pete was an awesome DJ who worked with us beforehand to prepare, understand our musical preferences and the vibe we were looking for throughout our whole day, and adjusted on the fly as necessary. Epic has a very useful website planning tool that helped us customize the music we wanted and work through with Pete on all of it. We also got a photobooth from Epic and have some amazing photos from the wedding from it. One thing to note is that it’s worth double-checking the setup requirements (space, power, scheduling, etc.) when booking because we had a last-minute hiccup about the setup logistics to work out. But everything worked out and was lovely - the attendant was super friendly and energetic and our guests loved him! Thank you so much Epic for being such an integral part of our special day! We recommend Epic whole-heartedly for all of your Central Coast wedding needs.

Epic Entertainment was so great to work with. We hired them for a photo booth and DJ services for our ceremony and reception. For our DJ, we hired LaDell and he was the best. He was very good at reading the crowd and keeping guests on the dance floor. From the start of dancing after dinner to the last song, he kept people moving all night. He was also so patient and kind during our meetings before the wedding. Many guests commented on how good the music was and how great of a job he did. We also enjoyed using their photo booth services - guests were entertained by it all night and liked taking home a souvenir from our wedding. I would highly recommend hiring Epic Entertainment for your wedding - ask for LaDell and you won’t be disappointed!

Epic Entertainment was recommended by our venue. They had a great package deal for DJ services for both our ceremony and reception as well as a photo booth with guestbook. As soon as we booked with Epic they were in constant communication and addressed any questions we had during the wedding planning process. They even provided tips and suggestions to help us plan the perfect day! Their DJ portal is extremely easy to use as well. The DJ we were originally paired with had a family emergency about a month out from our wedding but he personally called us and let us know he would be setting us up with a different Epic DJ, Sean. Both DJs made the transition easy and ensured that the change would not affect our event. Sean immediately jumped on a phone call with us and walked us through everything we put on the DJ portal to ensure we were all on the same page. On our actual wedding day, both Sean and our photo booth attendant were amazing. They were professional and made sure our entire event ran smoothly. We had some issues with our venue's neighbors and sound but Sean handled it perfectly and made sure that the ceremony and dancing continued despite it all. Overall we had an amazing experience with Epic and will definitely recommend them to any of our friends or family who plan to get married on the central coast. We also loved looking back through our photo booth guest book and all the photo booth pictures online post our wedding day.

Epic Entertainment was absolutely perfect to work with. Quick responses via email and willing to answer my repetitive questions. I got a winter time discount which was fantastic. The program with timeline entry and song requests was so easy to do. The wedding day went amazing and I was so shocked to see basically everyone out on the dance floor immediately. Chris was great at working with my wedding planner to get our entrance timing perfect. No complaints. Just amazing.

He was easy to communicate with and there was a well-organized portal that we use to communicate what we were picturing for different parts of the wedding and different music selections. LaDell connected with us beforehand to talk through the details and also went above and beyond the day of to make sure the wedding went smoothly. He played music that kept our guests dancing and several guests went out of their way to tell us what a great job he did!

Paul was so incredibly kind and helpful throughout the planning process. He made it a point to check in frequently and remind us that he would do everything in his power to make our day special, and that he did! We had a great experience with Chris and Epic Entertainment! Chris was easy to work with and made the planning process feel like a breeze. You start off with a consultation, then choose your package (highly recommend the package with up lighting and a Photo Booth)! From there, you get a personalized portal to pick your songs for every aspect of the night! Very helpful and they offer a lot of song ideas as well. The Photo Booth comes with a photo book so your guests get a copy of the picture, and so do you! Such a great way to remember our special day - it’s on our coffee table right now! Couldn’t recommend Epic enough for your wedding or event!

TJ is literally amazing! My husband and I can only say such positive things about TJ. From the very beginning, TJ was so responsive, so helpful, bubbly, excited and just gave us the vibe that fit us as a couple for out big day. He was so fun and wanted to ensure that this day is about US. My guests to this day (almost been a month post-wedding) rave about how great TJ was and he delivered!! We're from the bay area, so having our wedding in the central coast, we know bay area music isn't really huge out here, but TJ made us believe he was from the bay area like us!! He made the room JUMP! TJ is the bomb, and we are so beyond happy. He is an incredible DJ but even more so person. We love you, TJ!

TJ was the absolute best! From the moment we had our initial meeting, my wife and I knew we had made the right choice for our wedding party. He immediately put us at ease with his professionalism, attention to detail, and easygoing personality. My wife (who grew up in Italy) had created a special playlist of Italian songs to use at cocktail hour/dinner to make our overseas guests feel more at home. Though he didn't have most of these songs at hand, he downloaded them to ensure that we had a truly specialized experience. On our big day, he didn't miss a beat transitioning between speeches, cake cutting and first dance, making sure to keep everyone on track but not in an overbearing way. When it came time for everyone to cut a rug, he absolutely killed it! From Elvis's "All Shook Up" to Ginuwine's "Pony", he took our eclectic playlist requests and kept the dance floor filled the entire night. We couldn't have been happier with TJ and Epic Entertainment!!

Jack Ross was the DJ for our wedding. He was so easy to work with and had great suggestions. He made our wedding fun and kept us on track. He worked really well with the crowd and kept the dancing going all night. Thank you Jack for making our wedding so great!!

DJ Sean covered our wedding and was absolutely amazing! The communication from him and Epic Entertainment was great. I recently had the opportunity to work with Epic Entertainment for our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Epic Entertainment was very professional throughout the wedding planning process and day of the wedding. I was paired with Paul and his decades of experience really shined through the whole process. I really appreciated having his input and advice throughout the time I worked with him. Paul really stepped up throughout the day of the wedding as well by helping maintain the flow of events throughout the day and adding his personal touches on announcements and music.

Epic Entertainment and Ladell are the best! Music may have been one of the most stressful parts of the wedding. We took a lot of time to think out what would work, what wouldn’t, and did multiple revisions. LaDell gave us the best advice along the way when he told us not to overthink it, and to make cocktail hour and dinner music personal. Let the guests get to know you as a couple through the musical selections. Well, that’s exactly what we did and it was stellar. LaDell a jumbled pile of tunes that didn’t quite fit together and found the perfect sequence for them and cadence. Truly amazing! Best part, he had our whole dance floor MOVING!! As soon as it opened up, the whole wedding party was dancing non-stop all night. 5 stars for Epic Entertainment and Ladell, just top notch professional service and amazing musical selection.

Hakeem was fun to work with from day 1! He set everything up perfectly so that both the ceremony and reception went smoothly. He totally understood the vibe we were wanting at the wedding and played our favorite music all night long. The dance floor was never empty! We’d love to work with him again!

Epic Entertainment was great to work with! They did all of our ceremony and reception music and our guests had such a great time! There were a couple of songs that our DJ mixed up, but it was not a big deal. They provide fantastic service at a great price and their online portal was easy to use!

LaDell Erby from Epic Entertainment was the absolute soul of our wedding. I'm so happy that I booked him to DJ and MC. We did a phone consultation with him to go over all the music and wedding timeline which was really helpful. I told him that I wanted to be dancing the whole night and he UNDERSTOOD THE ASSIGNMENT haha. Not only was he able to play the type of music that my husband and I like to dance to but he was also able to play songs for the older generations without killing my vibe. Paul from Epic Entertainment did an incredible job at my wedding as the DJ and Emcee. He made sure to make all the anouncements I needed to keep my guests informed and in the right place and did an amazing job of keeping people on the dance floor with fun songs. The Epic Entertainment client portal was easy to use and allowed me to choose exactly what songs I wanted to hear and the types of songs my guests would enjoy. Paul was flexible when the schedule changed and worked really well with my wedding coordinator. Multiple people told me after my wedding that the dancing was their favorite part, and I am very greatful for Paul's work.

Sean from Epic Entertainment really came through for us on our wedding day. He was accommodating and easy to work with from the start but went the extra mile the day of the wedding. There was a tropical storm in September in SLO and he was flexible as we changed plans again and again because of rain. Everyone had a blast dancing in the rain and it made for an unforgettable party. He had listened carefully to our range of preferences from a few Persian songs to rap and everything in between and made it seamless! There's no way we could have had hours of a packed dance floor in the rain without Sean!

We chose Epic entertainment to be the DJ for the wedding and I am so happy we did. Anthony was our DJ and I have nothing but great things to say about him! He is friendly, organized, and professional. He helped us throw the best party of our lives and people will be talking about it for years! Things I liked about Epic Entertainment: 1. The online portal to add songs / plan event. 2. They continuously reached out and we had a zoom call to make sure we were aligned on the event plans etc. 3. They knew how to keep our party rockin!

Paul was our DJ with Epic Entertainment for our wedding day in August 2020 on the central coast. I felt that he went above and beyond to help us with every aspect of planning for the music for our reception and even assisted with the ceremony site sound. He was supportive and helpful to our live musician, too! He had suggestions when I didn't have a clue what to do and he made sure that people were enjoying themselves dancing until the very last song. The online planner is very helpful! Something that I feel sets them apart from other companies, is that they were excellent at follow through. As a bride, it was very easy for me to get distracted or forget something. Paul was extremely understanding every time I forgot anything and made sure to follow up later so I would remember to pick my songs. Also, he had experience with my venue and visited the site before the big day to make sure it was going to be a success. If I were to host another event on the central coast, I would definitely hire Epic (and request Paul!)!

We had such a seamless process with Epic Entertainment and our DJ Mike did an incredible job! Tons of compliments from guests, as he had great song choices and timing plus he played everything we requested. We met with him prior and he really listened to we wanted and how we wanted our wedding to look/feel. He was so much more than a DJ! We also decided to add the photo booth at the last second and are so glad we did. The photos were so fun to look through after and will be for years to come. The attendant (blanking on her name as I'm writing this 4months after) was super helpful and made sure all the photos made it into the book! Overall, super professional and experienced with great execution. You won't be disappointed if you book them.

From the very beginning of the process, LaDell and Epic were extremely accommodating, supportive, and communicative. We had a number of non-traditional elements in our ceremony and reception, and LaDell was not only accommodating, but excited to work with us on all of them. He met with us multiple times to discuss the plan, gave great advice and suggestions, and worked really well with our other vendors and friends participating in the wedding. LaDell was a great MC throughout the evening, and he even mixed two songs together for us for our first dance. And of course, LaDell played great music throughout the night. He was extremely kind and thoughtful, and we would recommend him and Epic for anyone planning a wedding in the area, without question.

T.J. Is the bomb! Not only does he rock a legit mustache, but he takes his role as D.J. seriously. He coordinated a video chat a few weeks before the wedding to comb over important details on the flow of the playlist and to get to know our overall expectations with music tastes. Epic entertainment reaches out multiple times to ensure all is well and that they are always available to bounce off ideas or assist in any way possible. We are beyond happy with the service provided by Epic Entertainment. When you book with them, you are in great hands.

We loved Tim from Epic!! He did a great job of keeping things running smoothly. He kept the dance floor full AND went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with everything before and during the wedding. He understood when last minute changes needed to be made and easily rolled with the punches! He even was so kind to make sure we had a drink in our hand when he noticed we were empty handed :) Thank you, Tim!!

My wife and I booked Epic Entertainment for DJ and sound at our wedding at Ragged Point Inn. Anthony was our DJ for the day, and he made sure that everything ran smoothly both before and during the wedding. Before the wedding, he sent us an online portal where we could fill in all the relevant details of our wedding (timeline, toasts order, how we want to be introduced for our grand entrance, etc.) as well as put together playlists for each part of the reception (cocktail hour, dinner, dancing), and also met with us to make sure that everything was in order and ready to go. On the day of, he arrived well ahead of schedule for setup and made sure everything ran without a hitch. We had an outdoor ceremony and it was an extremely windy day (with some of our floral arrangements getting blown off the pagoda), but our guests said they could hear our ceremony just fine. Overall we had a great experience, and we'd highly recommend them for weddings in the CA central coast area.

TJ the DJ was AMAZING!!! The whole Epic Entertainment Company was truly the best to work with. We had the DJ service and we rented chairs and tables. They were on top of everything making sure we were happy along the way, very responsive, great communication. They made our day even better!

Jack joined us to do the wedding at Kaleidoscope Inn B&B last weekend and he was an absolute pleasure! He was kind and considerate, helpful and prepared, and more than willing to help keep the party going as well as keeping all of the guests informed. Finding wedding vendors felt so daunting to me - you google, you search social media, you read reviews, you go over pricing, you weigh the best price with the best quality. It feels overwhelming the amount of information that is thrown at you. Well look no further for a DJ. Epic from start to finish made everything so simple and stress free. Their website is easy to navigate, their pricing is easy to understand, and their staff is readily available to answer any questions that you have. On top of a great company culture, amazing staff, and reasonable pricing, Epic has a great online forum for requesting songs and entering a timeline. Once we were assigned our specific DJ, Sal, it was like all of the pieces fell into place. Sal was an absolute gem. Months prior to the wedding, he sent regular emails checking in, and helped me work through some time line issues and logistical questions. I didn't have the budget for a planner or coordinator, so having a professional with real experience to bounce ideas off of was extremely helpful. We met a couple of times in the weeks leading up to the wedding to finalize the flow of the day - this is something that I didn't realize going into wedding planning; your DJ doesn't just play dance music; they are keeping the entire day flowing and on track. A lot of the day falls on them, so you need to have a lot of trust in them, and make sure that they understand the vibe of your wedding. Sal was the PERFECT DJ; he saw snags in our day and immediately stepped in to help. We had a whole plan to eat our food quickly, then go to talk to each table and release them to the buffet line - of course this was better in theory than it was in practice since everyone kept coming to talk to us and we lost track of time immediately. When I finally I realized we weren't doing our job, I looked over to see Sal was already releasing the tables. He saw an issue and stepped in to fix it, without stressing us out interrupting us. Later, we were a bit behind getting to our speeches and Sal worked with our photographer to come up with 2 solutions and brought them to us quietly. He was able to gauge what was important to us and quietly fix what we didn’t care about, and bring us some options to fix what we did care about. We got no less than 2 dozen people telling us that Sal was the best DJ ever, best music ever, best dance party ever. I cannot recommend Epic enough, and more specifically Sal, he went above and beyond and made our day absolutely perfect. I don't have the words to express my appreciation and gratitude for Sal, all I can do is tell anyone who will listen to hire him and tip him BIG.

Chris the owner of Epic Entertainment, was super responsive with getting our date booked and working out our package. Then we chose LaDell to be our DJ and he was amazing. We had 3 calls to run through music and timeline. He was very helpful with the whole process. I highly recommend Epic Entertainment!

LaDell with Epic Entertainment was awesome! We had such a good time getting to know him and watching him engage with our family and friends. We had booked Epic in 2019 before having to postpone our 2020 wedding and they were flexible and easy to work with. We loved being able to add on a photo booth to our existing package, as our originally booked company shuttered during covid. It just made sense to have them do sound, lights and photo booth. We enjoyed having a Zoom with LaDell before the wedding so we could get to know him, and him with us. We were able to talk about the type of vibe and music we wanted to have and people danced non-stop. One of my favorite parts leading up to the wedding was in talking with other vendors in the SLO area and they'd ask who we had for a DJ. When we said LaDell, the response was always "Oh LaDell! Everything from Epic was top notch and worth the price....dare I say it was EPIC! I highly recommend them!

Paul was one of the most essential components of making our wedding day go as perfect as it did. He met with me prior to the big day on at least 3 different occasions and gladly chatted with me for over an hour each time. He was super friendly, approachable and gave me the most awesome ideas/sweet touches for the wedding. Not only did he help me plan the entire day but he KILLED the music. Most of my guests including myself were dancing the entire time! I received so many compliments from my guests on how kind, fun and professional Paul was throughout the entire event. In addition to the music, the photobooth was such a hit at the reception. He provided us with a super nice bamboo guest book and the attendant offered all the supplies and encouraged our guests to sign this book. This was such a great touch! I can’t say enough positive things how smoothly Paul helped the whole event run from pre-ceremony to the last dance. Would 10/10 recommend him for any type of event. Overall I was super happy with Epic’s planning guide and all the additional resources this company provided me with! Thanks again Paul!

TJ was awesome! He was great to work with and help me through the entire process. He had great ideas and song suggestions. He took the time to work with me and listen to all my crazy ideas. TJ the DJ was THE BEST! Epic's online planning tool made the whole process easy and fun. They let you plan your highlights so you don't have to worry about every song that will get played. Tj the dj was awesome! He was so amazing and did a great job as our dj. He took our vision for the night and made it so much more amazing than we could have hoped for! Epic Entertainment was a delight. They were helpful and great to work with from the get go. Our DJ Mike was fantastic. He really put together songs that fit our nerdy vibe and made our guests excited. We experienced an issue with the company originally doing our lighting, but Epic stepped in to solve that too. I would absolutely recommend working with Epic Entertainment and specifically LaDell! From the very start, it was so easy to book Epic, and they provide a great planning portal to make sure that all of your ducks are in a row before the big day. When we had our consultation with LaDell, he was so in tune with what we liked and didn’t like as far as music styles go and we went into our wedding so confident that LaDell was going to make it a party! Everything about the music on our wedding day was amazing, and we would absolutely work with Epic and LaDell over and over again!

DJ Sal at Epic Entertainment was truly awesome. He kept the party going and got all our families and friends dancing for the whole night. Sometimes in the heat of the moment you forget how you planned the grand entrances and Sal was right there keeping us on track and putting us at ease! He is so easy going, fun and professional. He even made magic happen when my song for walking down the aisle was “Here Comes the Sun” and the clouds literally parted for the sun on cue with the music!!! Highly recommend hiring him for all of your DJ needs!

LaDell was fantastic!!! We thought he did a great job and we had a bunch of guests come up to tell us how much they enjoyed it (to the point where one of the guests asked for his information for another event). He was very helpful and enthusiastic to help us with planning the music before the wedding and the execution was even better. He was very professional and fun, I would recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ!

Epic entertainment is the way to go. Overall, they kept the party going and were very charming. The details: Chris owns the company and is very communicative throughout the process. We got on a call and he answered a ton of questions for us. They have a lot of djs but were fully booked except one last dj, luckily for us, anthony was still available (the other owner). They checkin with you every month to see if you need help with anything. They have a very extensive questionnaire you fill out. It feels like a lot at first, but after you complete it, you realize it’s all the info they need to make for the perfect night you wanted without any hiccups. They follow the instructions to a tee, it was great removing any worries on your big day. My now husband put a ton of video game songs on the list and they downloaded all of them and played during dinner. Epic’s thoughtfulness, preparedness, and attention to detail was much appreciated. We got on a call with anthony a couple of weeks before to review the questionnaire in detail. He was very professional and a great music mixer. I had multiple people complement the playlist and we had people dancing 100% of the time. I couldn’t imagine a better dj to drive our night. Thank you so much anthony!

DJ Anthony and his team helped us throw the best party ever for our wedding. From the lighting, to the music, and how could you forget the photo booth?! They were so knowledgeable and helpful through the whole process, I would highly recommend them to all of my friends and family.

We had such an amazing experience with Epic Entertainment, especially LaDell! Epic has a very user friendly website where you can fill out all your information, including song requests. They sent regular reminders and were highly professional. Ever since we hired LaDell he had excellent communication, very flexible to meet with us to ensure everything would go smoothly for the big day, and he was so much fun! We had a few special requests on games and things we wanted incorporated on our big day and LaDell was always up for it! He had a turntable there and was mixing music live- we were so impressed! There are not enough stars! Epic Entertainment and our DJ LaDell were incredible to work with. Always highly responsive and flexible and I simply can't say enough good things about LaDell. I love to dance and so the music and DJ were the most important thing for me at my wedding (besides the groom). LaDell listened to what I wanted and created a playlist for the entire evening that included all the songs I desired with a great flow so the energy level stayed up and continued to increase at just the right pace. People were dancing before the dinner was even served, took a break to eat and then got back on the dance floor all night long. It was awesome. On top of that, LaDell was a subtle MC who knew how to read the room and move things forward at just the right pace. PLUS he's a really nice guy. Thank you so much LaDell and Epic!

DJ TJ was amazing! The online planner made it very clear that this company is detail oriented and personalize their plans to your event. TJ did an amazing job the day of, not only being a DJ, but also teaching my guests some line dances. We ran into some unexpected changes at the reception, but TJ was able to adjust everything in the moment. I highly recommend EPIC for any event!
