Epic Entertainment’s execution of our wedding was nothing short of abysmal. We trusted this company with our wedding and we deeply regret doing so. We hired this company to DJ the ceremony and reception and also contracted them for a photobooth. In the week leading up to the event, we couldn’t get a hold of our DJ and our representative was slow to respond. We didn’t think too much of it and shared our timeline and the contact information for our day of coordinator. Fast forward to the wedding day - we were informed as we were walking up to the ceremony (literally right before the ceremony) that the DJ couldn't make it for personal reasons and that they had sent a backup DJ and photobooth attendant. DJ specific issues - -The DJ didn't know our first dance song and didn’t download the file we sent. Luckily, my wife had the file on her phone and was able to transfer it over. -The microphone didn't work and the DJ had to get the mics from the ceremony site (this is what we were told). Both of these issues combined set us back by about 25 minutes - delaying dinner service and preventing photo opportunities for us. -The DJ played the completely wrong playlist during dinner. -The DJ made no announcements on things that were listed on our timeline. A friend of ours wisely asked to emcee for the speeches to facilitate the flow between people. -The DJ played music during the speeches - no idea where that idea came from. -When dancing started, the DJ started off with our late night rap and hip-hop, going completely against what I advised beforehand. -The speakers sounded blown out or the DJ just had the music way too loud for the space and distance. -The bleeding of songs and order was bizarre. Songs would end abruptly or go to a completely different genre with no real flow. It was like the DJ had never actually listened to music before, let alone played it for others. -Lastly, the DJ hit 11pm and started packing up. By the time I noticed they had already started packing and unplugging things. The music was completely stopped. I told them that we had them until 12am. Photobooth Issues - -The photobooth didn't start on time. Our guests note that it wasn't ready until somewhere around 8pm - a full two hours late! They also left at 11pm. -The photo booth couldn't even print the photos! The attendant noted the lack of internet. Not only was there internet available at the reception site - but we were assured in planning conversations that internet connection was only necessary for sending photos. Printing shouldn't have been impacted either way. The problem was the attendant had never done this before. -The photo booth picture design spelled my wife's name wrong. Absolutely abyssal attention to detail. -The photo booth picture design was low quality, noticeably different from what we sent. We sent high quality files with exact specs and were told that it was doable. After a disastrous performance by Epic - I had to reach out and surface these issues a full 4 days later. No one bothered to reach out to address what was a complete failure. After a week of back and forth with the owner, who couldn’t even be bothered to spell my name correctly in his emails, we were able to negotiate a refund and get access to our photobooth photos. I wouldn’t recommend Epic to run your wedding even if they did it free. What a disaster for an organization.

We hired DJ Lacey from Epic Entertainment for our wedding and she was amazing! From the very beginning she was communicative and took the time to understand exactly what kind of vibe we wanted. During our pre-wedding meeting, we knew right away she was going to be great. On the wedding day, she was on point with everything... she kept the flow of the night seamless and the energy high. The music was fantastic and had guests dancing all night long. Our crowd loved her and the dance floor was always full. We also used Epic’s photo booth and it was such a hit! Guests had so much fun with it, and we loved that in addition to physical prints, all of the photos were uploaded to a website for easy download. Such a great way to relive the night and see all the fun moments. We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. Thank you Lacey and Epic for helping make our day unforgettable!

Epic entertainment was such a joy to work with for our wedding! Jack, who was our DJ, was so positive and walked us through every step on our calls, making sure we knew what to expect and to help make everything as seamless as possible. When it came to music he gave such great recommendations where needed and people were on the dance floor all night. Highly would recommend this team for your wedding!

Epic Entertainment is #1! Jack was amazing! From the moment we hired him, I felt like I was taken care of and all my needs were met. He talked to us through the entire process. We had a few meetings before the big day. When the big day came, he absolutely blew it out of the water. Every song choice was perfect. All the transitions into other music were perfect. Jack’s fun and funky attitude had the entire party jumping from start to finish. I cannot recommend him enough! 10/10 5 Stars, 100% !!

Anthony was the best DJ I have ever heard at a wedding - and I got lucky enough that it was for my own wedding! From the get to go epic entertainment streamlined the process for picking all of the music for our wedding. Their website allows you to walk step by step throughout the day and has incredible suggestions for songs if you are stumped. A few days before our wedding we set a meeting with Anthony and he was very friendly, personable and organized walking us through the day and what to expect, plus took all of our personal requests. The day of was everything I could have hoped for and more. Anthony is so professional and set the speakers up in perfect areas for all the guests to hear the ceremony, cocktail hour/dinner music and for the dance floor. He kept the dancefloor vibes high all night long and there was never a dull moment. I cannot recommend a company/DJ more than epic/Anthony. We hope to be a guest at a wedding of theirs soon so we can relive the best day of our lives!

Hiring Jack Ross as our wedding DJ was one of the best decisions we made. From the very beginning, Jack was so much more than just a DJ, he was thoughtful, professional, organized, and incredibly easy to work with. He instantly felt like a friend, and by the end of the process, he truly was one. He took the time to get to know us and our style, and he made every step of planning feel fun and stress-free. Sean, CJ, and Jack went above and beyond! They were communicative, have a great portal, Sean (DJ for us) got on multiple calls, and we they were on top of everything. They have a great portal for planning all the songs and playlists and the Photobooth was a hit! Professional and easy.

I am so thankful we went with Epic Entertainment and had Jack as our DJ. He absolutely killed it at our wedding at the Madonna Inn in May 2025. We did not play standard wedding music, so it was especially helpful to have Jack's ear and knowledge. I appreciate how detail oriented he was and his professionalism. He listened to what we wanted from our wedding, listened to our music to prepare his playlists and he kept the dance floor full all night. Epic Entertainment is a highly professional group. We first met with Jack, who was very organized and clear in discussing expectations in advance and set us up for success. We were so fortunate to work with LaDell as our DJ, he is the real deal. A master of his craft and a genuinely good guy. To list just a few of the ways he went above and beyond, he reworked our wedding dance song to fit the amount of time we needed in advance, did a great job MC’ing the wedding, mixed our ceremony walk out song to continue past the end on the fly when the walk out process went longer than we expected, and put together a great dance floor list that kept everyone dancing for hours.

Jack Ross at Epic Entertainment is more than a DJ, he is a true Master of Ceremonies! He kept the entire day flowing smoothly while skillfully playing appropriate music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and of course dancing! He even helped guide guests to our video guestbook throughout the night, which we are so excited to get back. We got to meet with Jack in person to discuss our vision, music we'd like to play, and timeline. Jack is super sweet and professional and makes you feel very comfortable about putting such an important role in his hands. I've heard so many times "don't expect everything to be perfect at your wedding", but for me everything was perfect!! (We got a lot of compliments on the music from our guests!)

Anthony was so helpful and organized throughout the planning process. The portal is a great tool and he proactively checked in with us so frequently. The music turned out perfect and the evening flowed so naturally. Everyone had so much fun and that's thanks to the atmosphere Anthony created. It was an amazing experience working with Epic Entertainment!

We had Chris Bailey from Epic DJ our wedding ceremony and reception and it was amazing!!! He is a very experienced DJ who helped everything run smoothly and sound great. He worked with our photographer and coordinator to ensure events were timed well. Finally, he kept our dance party rocking the whole reception. Great experience and 100% recommend Epic.

Our wedding DJ, Anthony, was an absolute rockstar! He kept the energy SO high and the dance floor packed all night long. He had a great sense of what music would get our guests moving, and he seamlessly transitioned between genres and decades. He even made a unique request happen from my husband at the end of the night, which was beyond special for us. Anthony was also incredibly professional and easy to work with. He met with us several times before the wedding to discuss our music preferences and timeline. He was always prompt and responsive to our emails and phone calls. On the day of the wedding, he arrived early to set up and was ready to go when the party started. We are so grateful to Anthony for making our wedding reception so much fun. We had an EPIC time at our wedding because of Epic Entertainment! ;) From the very beginning they were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful with whatever we ask! We had Brandon as our DJ and he took great care of us, from start to finish! Their online planning portal made it so easy to get our music choices down without confusion! We also had uplighting from them, and it was awesome! You can do pretty much whatever color and it’s stunning! Top notch company!

We had Epic Entertainment, specifically Brandon, DJ our wedding (ceremony and reception) and overall the experience was great! Adding songs requests via the portal was easy and the team was very quick to reply to emails. I appreciate special attention was made to play a few personal requests early on in the night but I was surprised there were a good number of songs played I didn't include. There was one son that I'm pretty sure I asked not to be played but was and some "must play" songs that weren't played but oh well. Overall the dance floor was also always packed and the crowd was happy so that's what ultimately matters but my advice would be to triple check your understanding of how the requests are factored into the overall list of songs played. Would recommend and was happy with the how things all went overall

We hired Epic Entertainment for our wedding in October 2024 and it was one of the best decisions. They were great to communicate with the entire process. Their online portal to help us provide the songs we wanted to play for all the important songs was very helpful. The communication leading up to the wedding helped me feel relax for the big day. Our wedding started at 3pm and ended at 10pm and we had family asking if we could please keep the dancing going for another hour. No one was ready to go home! Thank you so much Sal and the rest of the Epic Entertainment team for making our wedding day perfect!

Jack Ross from Epic Entertainment was amazing in every single way. He went above and beyond to make our wedding special. From the first form of communication to going the extra mile for the specific uplighting that I wanted for our wedding. He really put my mind at ease with his calming nature and reassurance. He got our music vibe right away and made sure all the song blended well together. I felt like I was talking to a friend through the whole process. I will never be able to thank him enough for all that he did. 100 percent would recommend him to anyone planning and wedding or other event!!

We can’t say enough great things about DJ Hakeem and Epic Entertainment!! From the beginning, Hakeem was super attentive and proactive about asking if we needed any planning help or DJ tips. It can be hard to coordinate with multiple vendors but he made it easy! The planning portal they provide served two great purposes - making us aware of all the small details/songs we needed to decide on and acting as a go-to document so Hakeem had everything he needed day-of. When it came to the actual wedding, Hakeem was flawless! He had the mic’s tuned and ready to go for the ceremony (backups too). He brought the fun energy during small things like transitions and announcements. But the #1 reason you want a good DJ is for the reception party and let us tell you - Hakeem NAILED it!! He perfectly mixed all of the songs to span the younger vs older crowds and we had the dance floor filled the whole night! You turn away for a second and he’s got the whole crowd lining up for the Limbo or doing a karaoke to Wagon Wheel! We had guests coming up all night and the day after telling us what a great DJ he was, that speaks for itself. Highly recommend working with Epic Entertainment and Hakeem, thanks for everything!

You need to book your wedding with Epic Entertainment!! Sal was so amazing in making my day so effortless and perfect! From cueing me perfectly for my ceremony to the best party vibes all night! The Photo Booth and guest book was such a perfect touch on the night and a great way to capture the fun! Even the up lighting in our venue made a huge impact in setting the tone of the night. We even had a couple last minute changes in songs that Sal changed immediately! They also were in contact via email from the time I booked to the day of the wedding and their helpful forms made everything run so smoothly!

Epic Entertainment was an absolute joy to work with! We worked with Sal for our wedding and he made all of the planning logistics very simply and clear. The online planning portal is very user friendly, and we had the opportunity to discuss on the phone for more granular plans. Also, Sal was very flexible and accommodating day of, as we had a couple surprise festivities from our wedding party! The music itself was amazing and exactly how we wanted it! All of our guests had a blast! Would definitely recommend Sal and Epic Entertainment for your future events!

Sal was absolutely incredible! So organized and flexible and took our music requests and ran with it. You could tell during the open dancing that he'd adjust his music based on what would hit and what wouldn't. I couldn't recommend him and Epic Entertainment more. You're in good hands with them!!

Sal was great! He was playing all the greatest hits for our wedding! Music can make or break a wedding, but thankfully, we ended up with an awesome DJ who clearly knew what he was doing. Forever grateful for Sal! :)

We had the pleasure of being assigned Hakeem for our wedding and he was AMAZING - I could not recommend him more! He helped guide us in the right direction regarding the length of the different dances and what type of music tends to get people on the dancefloor. The day ran so smoothly and the dance floor was SO lively all night - which is exactly what we wanted. We curated a playlist of over six hours of music and he used that playlist to create the PERFECT vibe for our dance floor! We got SO MANY compliments on our music from all of our wedding guests - we are STILL getting comments on the music and the overall vibes on the dancefloor!

We are so happy we chose Epic Entertainment for our wedding day - The entire team is warm, professional and attentive. They always answered any questions promptly leading up to the big day. Our amazing coordinator suggested hiring Epic Entertainment for our wedding, and we're SO glad we did! From the very beginning they were very professional, responsive, and so fun to work with. Due to rainy weather, our wedding day did not go as planned and we had to change a lot of things last minute. DJ Hakeem was so flexible and easy to work with, and kept playing music during the chaos that kept the energy up, made our guests laugh, and overall helped everyone still have an amazing time despite the rainy weather. He was so helpful during the craziness and rolled with the changes so well, always asking us along the way if there was anything we needed or anything more he could do for us. He also stealthily moved the uplighting from the original location to the new location so we could still get the desired look we were wanting, and it looked amazing. We're so thankful we had Hakeem because he made sure we all still had fun during the craziness of the day, and threw an epic dance party throughout it all! He helped make sure the day was still incredible, and we are so grateful. THANK YOU EPIC ENTERTAINMENT AND DJ HAKEEM!!

We worked with Epic on our wedding in Pismo Beach. Pete was an awesome DJ who worked with us beforehand to prepare, understand our musical preferences and the vibe we were looking for throughout our whole day, and adjusted on the fly as necessary. Epic has a very useful website planning tool that helped us customize the music we wanted and work through with Pete on all of it. We also got a photobooth from Epic and have some amazing photos from the wedding from it. One thing to note is that it’s worth double-checking the setup requirements (space, power, scheduling, etc.) when booking because we had a last-minute hiccup about the setup logistics to work out. But everything worked out and was lovely - the attendant was super friendly and energetic and our guests loved him! Thank you so much Epic for being such an integral part of our special day! We recommend Epic whole-heartedly for all of your Central Coast wedding needs.

Epic Entertainment was recommended by our venue. They had a great package deal for DJ services for both our ceremony and reception as well as a photo booth with guestbook. As soon as we booked with Epic they were in constant communication and addressed any questions we had during the wedding planning process. They even provided tips and suggestions to help us plan the perfect day! Their DJ portal is extremely easy to use as well. The DJ we were originally paired with had a family emergency about a month out from our wedding but he personally called us and let us know he would be setting us up with a different Epic DJ, Sean. Both DJs made the transition easy and ensured that the change would not affect our event. Sean immediately jumped on a phone call with us and walked us through everything we put on the DJ portal to ensure we were all on the same page. On our actual wedding day, both Sean and our photo booth attendant were amazing. They were professional and made sure our entire event ran smoothly. We had some issues with our venue's neighbors and sound but Sean handled it perfectly and made sure that the ceremony and dancing continued despite it all. Overall we had an amazing experience with Epic and will definitely recommend them to any of our friends or family who plan to get married on the central coast. We also loved looking back through our photo booth guest book and all the photo booth pictures online post our wedding day.
