We hired Epic Entertainment for our wedding in October 2024 and it was one of the best decisions. They were great to communicate with the entire process. Their online portal to help us provide the songs we wanted to play for all the important songs was very helpful. The communication leading up to the wedding helped me feel relax for the big day. Our wedding started at 3pm and ended at 10pm and we had family asking if we could please keep the dancing going for another hour. No one was ready to go home! Thank you so much Sal and the rest of the Epic Entertainment team for making our wedding day perfect!

Jack Ross from Epic Entertainment was amazing in every single way. He went above and beyond to make our wedding special. From the first form of communication to going the extra mile for the specific uplighting that I wanted for our wedding. He really put my mind at ease with his calming nature and reassurance. He got our music vibe right away and made sure all the song blended well together. I felt like I was talking to a friend through the whole process. I will never be able to thank him enough for all that he did. 100 percent would recommend him to anyone planning and wedding or other event!!

We can’t say enough great things about DJ Hakeem and Epic Entertainment!! From the beginning, Hakeem was super attentive and proactive about asking if we needed any planning help or DJ tips. It can be hard to coordinate with multiple vendors but he made it easy! The planning portal they provide served two great purposes - making us aware of all the small details/songs we needed to decide on and acting as a go-to document so Hakeem had everything he needed day-of. When it came to the actual wedding, Hakeem was flawless! He had the mic’s tuned and ready to go for the ceremony (backups too). He brought the fun energy during small things like transitions and announcements. But the #1 reason you want a good DJ is for the reception party and let us tell you - Hakeem NAILED it!! He perfectly mixed all of the songs to span the younger vs older crowds and we had the dance floor filled the whole night! You turn away for a second and he’s got the whole crowd lining up for the Limbo or doing a karaoke to Wagon Wheel! We had guests coming up all night and the day after telling us what a great DJ he was, that speaks for itself. Highly recommend working with Epic Entertainment and Hakeem, thanks for everything!

You need to book your wedding with Epic Entertainment!! Sal was so amazing in making my day so effortless and perfect! From cueing me perfectly for my ceremony to the best party vibes all night! The Photo Booth and guest book was such a perfect touch on the night and a great way to capture the fun! Even the up lighting in our venue made a huge impact in setting the tone of the night. We even had a couple last minute changes in songs that Sal changed immediately! They also were in contact via email from the time I booked to the day of the wedding and their helpful forms made everything run so smoothly!

Working with Epic Entertainment was amazing! Anthony selflessly came in to help us in a difficult situation and was always very communicative and easy to work with. Planning prior to the wedding was very stress relieving knowing that we had someone so experienced to help us run the ceremony and reception, and the day-of went so smoothly. We had the immense pleasure of having Anthony as our DJ for our wedding, and we can’t sing his praises highly enough! From the moment we first reached out to him, he was personable, approachable, had a great sense of humor and incredibly helpful. His warm and engaging personality made the planning process a breeze, and he was always quick in his response time. He also was super patient with us with answering our many questions and always ready to help. On our wedding day, he brought the party to life with his Dj skills and personality. Epic Entertainment was an absolute joy to work with! We worked with Sal for our wedding and he made all of the planning logistics very simply and clear. The online planning portal is very user friendly, and we had the opportunity to discuss on the phone for more granular plans. Also, Sal was very flexible and accommodating day of, as we had a couple surprise festivities from our wedding party! The music itself was amazing and exactly how we wanted it! Sal was absolutely incredible! So organized and flexible and took our music requests and ran with it. You could tell during the open dancing that he'd adjust his music based on what would hit and what wouldn't. I couldn't recommend him and Epic Entertainment more. You're in good hands with them!!

We had the pleasure of being assigned Hakeem for our wedding and he was AMAZING - I could not recommend him more! He helped guide us in the right direction regarding the length of the different dances and what type of music tends to get people on the dancefloor. The day ran so smoothly and the dance floor was SO lively all night - which is exactly what we wanted. We curated a playlist of over six hours of music and he used that playlist to create the PERFECT vibe for our dance floor! We got SO MANY compliments on our music from all of our wedding guests - we are STILL getting comments on the music and the overall vibes on the dancefloor!

Our amazing coordinator suggested hiring Epic Entertainment for our wedding, and we're SO glad we did! From the very beginning they were very professional, responsive, and so fun to work with. Due to rainy weather, our wedding day did not go as planned and we had to change a lot of things last minute. DJ Hakeem was so flexible and easy to work with, and kept playing music during the chaos that kept the energy up, made our guests laugh, and overall helped everyone still have an amazing time despite the rainy weather. He was so helpful during the craziness and rolled with the changes so well, always asking us along the way if there was anything we needed or anything more he could do for us. He also stealthily moved the uplighting from the original location to the new location so we could still get the desired look we were wanting, and it looked amazing. We're so thankful we had Hakeem because he made sure we all still had fun during the craziness of the day, and threw an epic dance party throughout it all! We worked with Epic on our wedding in Pismo Beach. Pete was an awesome DJ who worked with us beforehand to prepare, understand our musical preferences and the vibe we were looking for throughout our whole day, and adjusted on the fly as necessary. Epic has a very useful website planning tool that helped us customize the music we wanted and work through with Pete on all of it. We also got a photobooth from Epic and have some amazing photos from the wedding from it. One thing to note is that it’s worth double-checking the setup requirements (space, power, scheduling, etc.) when booking because we had a last-minute hiccup about the setup logistics to work out. But everything worked out and was lovely - the attendant was super friendly and energetic and our guests loved him! Thank you so much Epic for being such an integral part of our special day! We recommend Epic whole-heartedly for all of your Central Coast wedding needs.

Epic Entertainment was recommended by our venue. They had a great package deal for DJ services for both our ceremony and reception as well as a photo booth with guestbook. As soon as we booked with Epic they were in constant communication and addressed any questions we had during the wedding planning process. They even provided tips and suggestions to help us plan the perfect day! Their DJ portal is extremely easy to use as well. The DJ we were originally paired with had a family emergency about a month out from our wedding but he personally called us and let us know he would be setting us up with a different Epic DJ, Sean. Both DJs made the transition easy and ensured that the change would not affect our event. Sean immediately jumped on a phone call with us and walked us through everything we put on the DJ portal to ensure we were all on the same page. On our actual wedding day, both Sean and our photo booth attendant were amazing. They were professional and made sure our entire event ran smoothly. We had some issues with our venue's neighbors and sound but Sean handled it perfectly and made sure that the ceremony and dancing continued despite it all. Overall we had an amazing experience with Epic and will definitely recommend them to any of our friends or family who plan to get married on the central coast. We also loved looking back through our photo booth guest book and all the photo booth pictures online post our wedding day.

We loved working with Epic Entertainment and they did an incredible job on our wedding day! From the day we inquired about working with Epic Entertainment, they were informative and excited to help us plan our day. Sean was very attentive to what my husband and I wanted our day to look like, and offered recommendations and best practices to help us make our decisions. We used Epic Entertainment DJ services for our wedding recently, and we had a great experience. Our DJ for the event, LaDell, was awesome! He was easy to communicate with and there was a well-organized portal that we use to communicate what we were picturing for different parts of the wedding and different music selections. LaDell connected with us beforehand to talk through the details and also went above and beyond the day of to make sure the wedding went smoothly. He played music that kept our guests dancing and several guests went out of their way to tell us what a great job he did!

Paul was so incredibly kind and helpful throughout the planning process. He made it a point to check in frequently and remind us that he would do everything in his power to make our day special, and that he did! He stayed on par with all the music we suggested and the crowd had so much fun. We will absolutely hire through Epic for future events!

TJ is literally amazing! My husband and I can only say such positive things about TJ. From the very beginning, TJ was so responsive, so helpful, bubbly, excited and just gave us the vibe that fit us as a couple for out big day. He was so fun and wanted to ensure that this day is about US. My guests to this day (almost been a month post-wedding) rave about how great TJ was and he delivered!! We're from the bay area, so having our wedding in the central coast, we know bay area music isn't really huge out here, but TJ made us believe he was from the bay area like us!! He made the room JUMP! TJ is the bomb, and we are so beyond happy. He is an incredible DJ but even more so person. We love you, TJ!

TJ was the absolute best! From the moment we had our initial meeting, my wife and I knew we had made the right choice for our wedding party. He immediately put us at ease with his professionalism, attention to detail, and easygoing personality. My wife (who grew up in Italy) had created a special playlist of Italian songs to use at cocktail hour/dinner to make our overseas guests feel more at home. Though he didn't have most of these songs at hand, he downloaded them to ensure that we had a truly specialized experience. On our big day, he didn't miss a beat transitioning between speeches, cake cutting and first dance, making sure to keep everyone on track but not in an overbearing way. When it came time for everyone to cut a rug, he absolutely killed it! From Elvis's "All Shook Up" to Ginuwine's "Pony", he took our eclectic playlist requests and kept the dance floor filled the entire night. We couldn't have been happier with TJ and Epic Entertainment!!

I recently had the opportunity to work with Epic Entertainment for our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Epic Entertainment was very professional throughout the wedding planning process and day of the wedding. I was paired with Paul and his decades of experience really shined through the whole process. I really appreciated having his input and advice throughout the time I worked with him. Paul really stepped up throughout the day of the wedding as well by helping maintain the flow of events throughout the day and adding his personal touches on announcements and music.

Epic Entertainment and Ladell are the best! Music may have been one of the most stressful parts of the wedding. We took a lot of time to think out what would work, what wouldn’t, and did multiple revisions. LaDell gave us the best advice along the way when he told us not to overthink it, and to make cocktail hour and dinner music personal. Let the guests get to know you as a couple through the musical selections. Well, that’s exactly what we did and it was stellar. LaDell a jumbled pile of tunes that didn’t quite fit together and found the perfect sequence for them and cadence. Truly amazing! Best part, he had our whole dance floor MOVING!! As soon as it opened up, the whole wedding party was dancing non-stop all night. 5 stars for Epic Entertainment and Ladell, just top notch professional service and amazing musical selection.

Hakeem was fun to work with from day 1! He set everything up perfectly so that both the ceremony and reception went smoothly. He totally understood the vibe we were wanting at the wedding and played our favorite music all night long. The dance floor was never empty! We’d love to work with him again!

Paul was AMAZING! He was a complete professional. Our goal was to keep people dancing and I can say we succeeded! Sean Dasmann did such a wonderful job with our wedding! From the moment guests arrived at the venue to the last dance song of the night, Sean kept the whole event flowing seamlessly and we never worried about a thing. We especially appreciated both Sean's experience-based advice for us during the planning process, and also his flexibility and willingness to listen to what we wanted.

Epic Entertainment was great to work with! They did all of our ceremony and reception music and our guests had such a great time! There were a couple of songs that our DJ mixed up, but it was not a big deal. They provide fantastic service at a great price and their online portal was easy to use!

Paul with Epic Entertainment totally exceeded my expectations. He was totally in sync with my timeline and made suggestions on how to cut songs to add to the moment. I really enjoyed their online resources so I could put in all my preferences and then I had a call with Paul a week before my wedding and he patiently went through all my selections to ensure everything was perfect.

LaDell Erby from Epic Entertainment was the absolute soul of our wedding. I'm so happy that I booked him to DJ and MC. We did a phone consultation with him to go over all the music and wedding timeline which was really helpful. I told him that I wanted to be dancing the whole night and he UNDERSTOOD THE ASSIGNMENT haha. Not only was he able to play the type of music that my husband and I like to dance to but he was also able to play songs for the older generations without killing my vibe. He knows how to read the room and keep the party going! Book him :)

Paul from Epic Entertainment did an incredible job at my wedding as the DJ and Emcee. He made sure to make all the anouncements I needed to keep my guests informed and in the right place and did an amazing job of keeping people on the dance floor with fun songs. The Epic Entertainment client portal was easy to use and allowed me to choose exactly what songs I wanted to hear and the types of songs my guests would enjoy. Paul was flexible when the schedule changed and worked really well with my wedding coordinator. Multiple people told me after my wedding that the dancing was their favorite part, and I am very greatful for Paul's work.

Sean from Epic Entertainment really came through for us on our wedding day. He was accommodating and easy to work with from the start but went the extra mile the day of the wedding. There was a tropical storm in September in SLO and he was flexible as we changed plans again and again because of rain. Everyone had a blast dancing in the rain and it made for an unforgettable party. He had listened carefully to our range of preferences from a few Persian songs to rap and everything in between and made it seamless! There's no way we could have had hours of a packed dance floor in the rain without Sean!

We chose Epic entertainment to be the DJ for the wedding and I am so happy we did. Anthony was our DJ and I have nothing but great things to say about him! He is friendly, organized, and professional. He helped us throw the best party of our lives and people will be talking about it for years! Things I liked about Epic Entertainment: 1. The online portal to add songs / plan event. 2. They continuously reached out and we had a zoom call to make sure we were aligned on the event plans etc. 3. They knew how to keep our party rockin!

Paul was our DJ with Epic Entertainment for our wedding day in August 2020 on the central coast. I felt that he went above and beyond to help us with every aspect of planning for the music for our reception and even assisted with the ceremony site sound. He was supportive and helpful to our live musician, too! He had suggestions when I didn't have a clue what to do and he made sure that people were enjoying themselves dancing until the very last song. The online planner is very helpful! Something that I feel sets them apart from other companies, is that they were excellent at follow through. As a bride, it was very easy for me to get distracted or forget something. Paul was extremely understanding every time I forgot anything and made sure to follow up later so I would remember to pick my songs. Also, he had experience with my venue and visited the site before the big day to make sure it was going to be a success. If I were to host another event on the central coast, I would definitely hire Epic (and request Paul!)!
