issues (like our original ceremony venue canceling 6 months from the date). By the day of, I knew I could trust her completely and was able to completely relax and focus on enjoying the day. Marilyn goes above and beyond for her couples, and I will be personally recommending her to everyone who asks.
Side note: she does all of the floral decor for you in her full and partial planning packages, and she does a brilliant job! My guests did not stop talking about how gorgeous the bouquets and floral arrangements were!

ith by text, phone call, zoom, and e-mail. I was a very anxious bride in the planning process and day prior. She was very kind and helped to alleviate my fears! She ran a great rehearsal the day prior and the wedding day was FLAWLESS! Not only did she make everything happen behind the scenes from putting out our tablecards/decorations/making sure all of our vendors followed through, but she also provided the Pipe and Draping and stage decorations through her rental company. These extra decorations really enhanced the wedding and made our event magical! We are thankful we hired Marilyn and recommend her to other brides!

I don’t recommend. I booked the full service package which includes venue search. Our wedding date was open depending on venue availability. After a 50% down payment, and 5 venue recommendations, we found a venue we loved but then came to find ...
out she has no availability for the full month we wanted. We acknowledged this and asked her if she could support up until the day of the wedding and we would get a separate day of coordinator. She said this isn’t possible and we would need to cancel our agreement unless we booked a different day (we did not want to book in hot, summer months) so we thanked her for the help so far and asked to pay 25% of the full cost (half of the 50% down payment) for her services (sent venue recommendations in a google sheet. We never met in person). She said no refunds but gave a courtesy 14% back. If you do book, be very very clear on the month availability because there is no recourse if the dates conflict.

We didnt receive any of our deposits back so our budget was a bit tight. As soon as Marilyn and I connected, I knew she was the one! She helped me to calm my mind, provided me reassurance, even gave what felt like a mini therapy session. I immediately hired her after our consultation.
Just like the pandemic, my wedding plans and number count continued to change and she worked with me every step of the way. She even provided florist services to assist in cutting down the cost.

ere planning this Texas wedding from Colorado. My biggest concern was budget, and I knew If I tried to do it all by myself I would end up spending way more. I expressed this on my initial call with Marilyn and she assured me that she would keep me in my budget and she 100% did. She wants your vision to come to life and was able to do that. She has connections to other vendors that certainly helped as well. Marilyn went to venues and took videos when I couldn’t, she was great with communication and was so incredibly patient with me. Luckily I married the man of my dreams and won’t ever have to do this again, but if you are having any hesitations on hiring a planner, I would recommend Marilyn to anybody.
