They were organized, helpful, and made sure everything ran smoothly, which made our job stress-free and ensured the couple enjoyed their big day. We’d be happy to work together again and recommend them to any couple looking for a great Coordination company!!

on a coordinator should be well informed on the service they could receive. Starting from the beginning, from the first two zoom calls after a contract was signed and basically every other timeline set she was late, including the rehursal and wedding day. During the zoom call to discuss her involvement, she stated approximately a month out she would contact all vendors and create a timeline, a week out make contact with and verify with all vendors, and day of coordination would all be completed all by her. She asked me to send all of the contracts and contact information which I promptly provided. None of these things occurred on this time line. The contact with vendors was shifty at best. I requested to be CC'd on all contact multiple times which did not occur. If i was CCd, the vendor emailed me and either I added Marilyn or the vendor added me to the CC line. I had two vendors who were never contacted by the coordinator. One two days prior reached out, the other was the stand in photographer who she had received the contact information for via the original photographer. Neither received contact and verified that with me personally the day of the wedding because they did not receive any contact whatsoever. The timeline she created for the event was not verified with the vendors / venue / contracts she had in her possession, and was not sent out until a week and a half before the wedding. The timeline also had multiple errors that were addressed well before the week out and was resent with similar errors. This timeline was also not sent out when Marilyn stated it would be provided to vendors. She did not have the foresight to check on secondary effects after making her suggested changes to the event. The stand in wedding photographer is the person who actually ran the show. Marilyn did not announce anything during the reception to keep on the "timeline" like discussed after others began taking charge because the "timeline" was not being adheired to. The majority of my guests were confused by her presence and asked multiple times who "the lady sitting out front playing on tiktok" was. Working with this vendor was not a good use of my money as the vendors i communicated with prior to highering her said i was extremely communicative and informative but did not receive the same from Marilyn. The amount of stress I intended to avoid by trusting her to handle things was insurmountable when I had to handle almost everything myself last minute or ensure things were being handled by Marilyn accordingly. I outright asked her to explain why things occurred on different occasions and was met with excuses and no actual proof of communication. I do not believe I received the service I paid for and we discussed before signing the contract. She did a great job cleaning the tables and consolidating decor to ensure everyone was able to leave the venue by the established ending time to collect her table cloths I rented from her.

I would recommend Marilyn to everyone needing a wedding planner or day of coordinator! We weren’t burdened with anything on our special day and Marilyn made sure we had a big to go box of food to take home. She’s the best!!

In addition to her event planning and coordination skills she is also a fantastic florist! Marylin did all of our floral arrangements for our wedding and reception and we were just blown away. All of our guests loved them and our pictures look like something out of a magazine! Isabella was so lovely and kind and very easy to work with throughout the whole process. She checked in with us each month and then once we got closer to the wedding helped us make our timeline, connected with all of our vendors, and made sure we were ready to have a great day. On the day of she made sure everything was running on time and helped us communicate with our vendors. Marilyn was also amazing. I showed her pictures and explained the mood and vibe I was going for and she helped me create my vision while staying within a reasonable budget. She was also able to do our rehearsal dinner centerpieces for a much more reasonable cost than we could find anywhere else. When I saw how everything looked for both the rehearsal and wedding day I wanted to cry because everything was just so beautiful. To summarize, we had a great experience with both Isabella and Marilyn and I would highly recommend this duo to anyone! They are both so kind, hardworking, professional, and all around great people!

in any way she can. We used her "month of" coordination, but Marilyn was available even before then for any questions we had. She even helped us when we had questions about working with other vendors which was outside her scope, but I believed she really did want the best for our wedding. We also used her floral and decor services which was the best decision we made. Our wedding turned out absolutely gorgeous. I also have to compliment her demeanor. I've seen so many coordinators at weddings that were rude or disrespectful to wedding party and/or guests to accomlish their goals, but Marilyn does everything with such grace. Again, her desire for our day to be the best it possibly could was so appraent. If I could have a Marilyn in every aspect of my life, I would be a lot more strees free. :) Jokes aside, do not give it a second thought. If you're looking for a coordinator who can do it all, is available for your wedding needs, gives you a stress free wedding day, and truly gives a care about your actual wedding, you need to book Marilyn. Don't bother looking any further. You found her!

orked with Isabella but Marilyn made an effort to also be there the day of our event for support. Isabella was very kind and eager to help. She helped me find draping and made time to meet online if I needed to discuss anything with her. I’m so glad we had her there to help on our wedding day, she made sure everything went as smooth as it could go. My only suggestion would be wearing business attire on the day of. Isabella was in legging and sneakers. She also had her fiancé assist her with setting up and other things, which I didn’t mind, but he was wearing shorts and slides. Both of their attires did not match the event. It was not a big deal but something to maybe consider for future events. That’s my only criticism. Everything else was great and I would definitely recommend for other couples looking for a day of coordinator.

Also, she was always on top of everything, when I had meetings with our other vendors she always said "yep, I got it, you don't have to worry" and boy, she meant it! The wedding DJ was having an "off day" during our reception, and before we knew it, Marilyn was right there coaching him on the necessary announcements so the event didn't skip a beat. She quite literally saved the day. You cannot go wrong by hiring Epic Events by Marilyn!

Marilyn is nothing short of a miracle worker. It was simple, but absolutely gorgeous, and, there just aren’t words. She was very kind and helped to alleviate my fears! She ran a great rehearsal the day prior and the wedding day was FLAWLESS! Not only did she make everything happen behind the scenes from putting out our tablecards/decorations/making sure all of our vendors followed through, but she also provided the Pipe and Draping and stage decorations through her rental company. These extra decorations really enhanced the wedding and made our event magical! We are thankful we hired Marilyn and recommend her to other brides!

As soon as Marilyn and I connected, I knew she was the one! She helped me to calm my mind, provided me reassurance, even gave what felt like a mini therapy session. Marilyn was a tremendous help in getting things set up and organized - from our officiant to our photographer and videographer - she even brought her husband (also a total gem!) to ensure that all our A/V equipment was set up properly for Zoom. Our day went even better than we anticipated thanks to all of Marilyn's hard work. We highly, highly recommend her!! You will not be disappointed.

d, which meant we had to get all vendors to reschedule too. We were planning this Texas wedding from Colorado. My biggest concern was budget, and I knew If I tried to do it all by myself I would end up spending way more. I expressed this on my initial call with Marilyn and she assured me that she would keep me in my budget and she 100% did. She wants your vision to come to life and was able to do that. She has connections to other vendors that certainly helped as well. Marilyn went to venues and took videos when I couldn’t, she was great with communication and was so incredibly patient with me. Luckily I married the man of my dreams and won’t ever have to do this again, but if you are having any hesitations on hiring a planner, I would recommend Marilyn to anybody.
