Epic Events Catering

I’ve taken some time before writing this review so I wasn’t writing it off pure emotion. When I first decided to use Epic for my wedding in April, I was thrilled. I heard nothing but amazing things about their work. However, right when I started working with them they went through HUGE changes with staff- management, staff, chefs, etc. Throughout all these changes, communication was horrible. I never knew who I was supposed to talk to or who was taking care of my wedding planning (in terms of catering). We were assigned FOUR different chefs- 3 of which all quit/left/fired (not sure) all within less than a year. I was terrified the entire time that no one was going to actually show up on my day-of. Everything was disorganized and at the end, our contract price was not at all what we were originally told. We did end up getting everything sorted out and I will say, Chef Aaron did an incredible job his food was AWESOME! BUT Kindall (event manager) is not a friendly or pleasant person whatsoever. My family felt very disrespected by her and her awful attitude. I know she got a lot dumped on her plate all at once, but I don’t think thats a reason for a bad attitude. The timing at my wedding was off in terms of dinner timing and she didn’t seem to care when approached. My estate table also had to ask 3 times to be served wine with dinner. They are trying to sort things out as a company and I trust that they will improve as they get back on their feet. For now, I would avoid using them until they get it together. All that being said, food is delish thanks to their current chef (Aaron).

Epic was amazing! The food was delicious, and numerous guests were raving about it before the end of the night. Zhana was our point of contact, and she was extremely professional, responsive, and sweet. Service by the staff was also excellent.

Food was amazing! Everyone seemed to LOVE it- when my husband and I were walking around the tables to say hello- majority of our guests were raving about how great the food was, for some it was the best wedding food they have ever had! Would definitely recommend Epic Events!

Tony, Tippa, and Chef Katherine-The food was AMAZING for our wedding!!!! Every single guest was beyond ecstatic at how delicious everything turned out!!! Several were very sorry that they weren't able to eat more of the appetizers!! The set up, presentation, and flavor of the food was fabulous!! Half the time, I wasn't able to articulate exactly what I was wanting (no theme for our wedding), but Chef Katherine was able to guide me and help me decide on the perfect meal!! PHENOMENAL!!!!!! Seriously, my new husband and I are very particular about how vegetables are cooked and the broccollini was cooked to PERFECTION!!!! Of course, the goat cheese stuffed chicken, beef kabobs, and appetizers were amazing as well! Kinda wish I could afford to have Chef Katherine as my personal chef!!! Epic was able to deliver exactly what we were wanting for our wedding and I would highly recommend them to anyone (no matter the type/style/ethnicity of the cuisine)-Epic can and WILL deliver!!!!!
