Everyone needs an Ericka on their wedding day. She was a total sounding board leading up to the big day and was so on top of all the logistics, and everything turned out absolutely beautifully! We truly could not have been happier - the day flowed so seamlessly and we were completely at ease through it all, thanks to Ericka. Highly, highly recommend.

Hiring Ericka as my day of coordinator was the best decision I made during the wedding process. I originally didn’t think I would need a day of coordinator but I am VERY glad I chose to hire her. She went above and beyond for me and my husband on our wedding day. She was punctual, detail oriented and provided us with timelines and checklist to keep us organized leading up to the day. She handled all the little things that came up and provided a calmness on my wedding day that I appreciate so much. If you’re on the fence about hiring a day of coordinator I would do it and hire her. Worth every penny and so much more, can’t thank her enough!

Ericka was by far the biggest saving grace for our wedding day. My now husband and I are the first in our family to get married, as you can imagine neither of us knew what we were doing. Although we had hired EGE to support month-of coordination, she gave me a ton of tips and recommendations for vendors during our first meeting a year prior to my wedding. Regarding the month of the wedding day, Ericka has such a calm demeanor and can handle any tough situation. We had several nuiances with our wedding; a cultural celebration, family friends involved in the planning and wanting to make sure the day went as smoothly as possible. Ericka did her best to take as much as she could off my plate! She led the entire ceremony rehearsal, helped set up the day before and even helped me with my bouquet construction party at the FlowerMan. She stayed and assisted my family with tear down, too. She is an incredible support for any bride, and my husband and I were so lucky to have her on our wedding month. I have already recommended her to several of my family friends, too.

Ericka was absolutely amazing!! She helped us with design, contacting vendors the last few weeks leading up to the wedding, rehearsal and the execution of the day. She made the wedding planning process so stress free and really understood our vision for the day. She made sure everything ran smoothly at the rehearsal and the day of as well. We were able to sit back and relax on the weekend and day of our wedding because we knew Ericka had it under control. Ericka is very easy to get in touch with and is so down to earth. She is so great to work with and we would highly recommend her for any wedding coordination needs. We can’t say enough good things about her!

Ericka was amazing in helping us plan our wedding from afar. She served up great vendor recommendations for us to choose from and helped coordinate them all with the venue the week of. Miranda was our point person day of and did an incredible job getting everything set up and executing to our vision - it all turned out even better than expected! Would highly recommend to any local couples.

After much deliberation I have decided I needed to post a review that I cannot recommend Ericka’s services. I’m sure if you’re going through a venue that does most of the coordinating for you and works with the same vendors regularly she would be fine but for a creative wedding with lots of moving parts she is not equipped. Nothing altered in my plans for my wedding from our initial meeting a year and half before my wedding and I just don’t think she realized she was in over her head until it was the day of the event. Initially we discussed that she’d have an assistant to help her day of but she didn’t AND she took a floral job the morning of my wedding. It was definitely a chaotic event- but weddings can be and there was ample time and obvious signs that I was I need of more constructive support. She made very few recommendations and asked vague questions about my stress levels that did not prove helpful. She was unable to make connections with other vendors- like bar and event staff, or driving staff. She showed up 45 minutes late on the wedding day without a clipboard or running list in hand and there were lots of things that could’ve been fixed before the event began if she’d poured the amount energy that I expected that she would into the day. The icing on the cake was that she left before the band was finished (which we had discussed she would stay until they were finished at midnight) and when she left, she left the only set of shuttle keys on an envelope in the kitchen which yielded a very stressful end to the evening as no one knew where they were. She never even reached out to follow up following the event- I view that as a serious lack of professionalism. I wish her the best of luck in her endeavors but think that she needs to be more honest with her clients about the level of support that she is capable of before the hire her for the biggest event of their life.’

How do I describe the INCREDIBLE, AMAZING, SPECTACULAR, and above all else, GENUINE human that is Ericka Greene? We partnered with Ericka a year before our wedding, and thank goodness we did. We were below novice level when it came to knowing how to plan a wedding, and she was able to come in and help shape a timeline for us to ensure 1) we didn't get overwhelmed in the process, and 2) that we did not miss any important details. From our first call with her, we knew we were in excellent hands. Ericka puts so much time in getting to know you and your partner to truly understand what your vision is and how best to bring it to light. She is beyond talented, and she exceeded our expectations every step of the way. The day of our wedding, we felt 100% comfortable letting go and letting her run the show. We were truly able to enjoy the day because of her and all of her hard work. I truly do not think there are adequate words to describe our experience with her. If you are looking for a wedding planner, or any event planner, Ericka Greene is your go-to lady. It's as simple as that!

Ericka was the best choice we made in the entire wedding planning process! She made us feel so validated, relaxed, and prepared for our day after every single meeting. She even guided us through an entire venue change and re planning the wedding less than 7 months out from the day! Ericka went above and beyond for us, and we can't thank her enough for her effort, thoughtfulness, and care.

Ericka was our hero on our wedding day! Although we hired her for her Day-Of services, she was happy and eager to connect with us several months prior to learn about our vision for the wedding. Throughout the whole process, she felt like a good friend and showed so much care for us as a couple. She helped craft a fantastic timeline for our day, helped communicate the day-off details to our vendors, and made set up and tear down a breeze. We credit her greatly for our wedding day success and could not have imagined our day without her!

Hiring Ericka as our Day-Of-Coordinator was hands down the best decision we made when planning our wedding. I can’t believe I even considered trying to do it on my own. She was able to make this perfectionist feel totally at peace on my wedding day. She truly exhibited every quality you could possibly want in a wedding coordinator. It was the greatest gift to be able to 110% enjoy the day and not have to worry about the logistics of anything. Our family was able to relax and enjoy it as well. Every conversation I’ve had with a family member about the wedding has included them telling me that they “loved Ericka and her assistant (Miranda) so much”. We all go on and on about how thankful we are for her. She is not only incredible at her job and very professionally competent, but she is also just an amazing human that cares for her clients and has a huge heart. If you are even thinking about a coordinator/planner for your big day, Ericka is a NO BRAINER. I cannot even express how lucky we were to have Ericka orchestrating our big day. For the months leading up to the big day, she was super helpful and responsive, helped me to remember so many little details and overall was just ON TOP of it. I honestly don't even know what we would have done without her the day of the wedding. She took everything into her own hands, was so supportive and encouraging and made sure everything went off flawlessly. I cannot recommend Ericka enough- she was a life saver! THANK YOU!!!

To say Ericka is amazing is an understatement. She was with us every step of the way from coming up with concepts, vendor selections, design decisions, and everything in between. Ericka has such a calm presence that will ensure any bride has the least amount of stress possible. She made our day absolutely perfect. She executed every single detail with such ease. Ericka was such a delight to work with! I realized early in the wedding planning process that I was going to need some help after some pretty devastating life events. I interviewed several wedding planners, but Ericka's enthusiasm and genuine joy won me over. I hired EGE for Day-Of, Design, and Vendor Coordination in January 2021 for my October 2021 wedding. Ericka compiled vendors for me to look over, joined vendor meetings, and generally supported this bride that is awful at making decisions. Whenever I felt stressed or overwhelmed with the process, her confidence and cheerleading enthusiasm comforted me. I also ended up choosing her new floral business fleur. by Ericka Greene Events for my flowers and WOW! They were absolutely gorgeous!! Ericka and her assistant made our big day feel so easy and seamless - checking in to see if I or my bridesmaids needed anything; beautifully honoring my recently passed Mom and Grandmother; extending our time at the end of the night when I wanted to dance a little longer; even repairing a groomsman's torn pants at the last minute! She was always ready and willing to do whatever needed to be done to help, with a big smile and infectious energy. I highly recommend hiring EGE for any part of your wedding planning process!

Ericka is wonderful and will do anything to make sure your day is everything you wanted it to be and more!! She's precise, detailed oriented, and incredibly talented with floral arrangements. She helped me plan my elopement in Columbus while I was 3000 miles away in California. Ericka scoped out locations for the ceremony, restaurants, and gave me excellent recommendations for lodging, makeup/hair, and a photographer. She kept my budget in mind had lots of tips and tricks to remain within the limit. She made my job as the bride easy, I couldn't have done it without her! Ericka goes above and beyond, I would hire her again in a heartbeat!

Ericka is amazing to work with. She is very professional, great personality, and attentive. She went above and beyond with our needs for our wedding. She let our wedding day be ours and I could be stress free. The last 2 weeks before the wedding were starting to get hectic but she took over as soon as vendors started reaching out. I hired Ericka as the day-of-coordinator, and it was the best investment ever! I was comfortable with the planning process, but needed someone to hand everything over on the wedding day. Ericka was very organized, details oriented, and prepared for everything. She helped me and my bridesmaids put together our bouquets in the morning of, helped set up the decorations in a short amount of time, and made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the day. I barely had to talk to any vendors and was able to just have fun on my wedding day. Not only was Ericka a great coordinator, she also truly cares for the couple she works with. She was a huge emotional support for me in the last stretch of wedding planning, as things became busy and unexpected emergency happened. I really appreciate all the work she had done for us, and already miss working with her.

Working with Ericka was the best and we genuinely miss our weekly check-ins! We got engaged in December 2019 and started looking for a wedding planner in January 2020. We live in Chicago and knew we were going to need someone local to help us plan our wedding. We had a few calls with different planners but after our meeting with Ericka we knew she was the one! She was engaging, professional, and kind. She made us feel confident that she understood our vision and could make it happen without a six-figure budget. We hired Ericka for her full planning service, and it was the best decision we ever made. Due to Covid we had some downtime in our wedding planning from March 2020 – August 2020 but Ericka still checked in on us. She provided us a list of vendors to look at once we set our date. When we got our venue, North Bank Park Pavilion, in August 2020 we got right to wedding planning. We worked with Ericka to go through the list of vendors and select who we would get quotes from. She set up all the initial consultations, joined us in our meetings, and guided us on things to be mindful of. By October 2020 we had all the big vendors booked (catering, DJ, floral, hair, make-up). Ericka was so helpful and supportive throughout the whole planning process. She provided us a timeline of events and would regularly check in to make sure everything was on track. Additionally, she was always so calm! If we were ever stressed about something we could talk to her about it and she never seemed stressed, she would just handle it. The weeks leading up to wedding day and our wedding day itself went along so smoothly. We know Ericka worked so hard, but she made it seem effortless. Our wedding day is everything we dreamed it would be and more! Ericka and her assistant Miranda knocked it out of the park. Every single detail was accounted for, and the night flowed perfectly. They took care of the setup, vendor communications, tips, tear down, loading up our stuff at the end of the night, and dropping everything off to our family the next morning. Ericka even coordinated with our maid of honor and best man to have a surprise mariachi band come to the cocktail hour. It was so special and something we will never forget. The day could not have been more perfect! My list of reasons to hire Ericka could go on forever. Do yourself a favor and hire Ericka for your wedding!

Hiring Ericka was the best decision we made in the whole planning process! She was great to work with and saved our entire wedding when our first venue cancelled with no notice 7 weeks before the wedding date. Ericka is incredibly creative, kind, organized and hard working. She also did the floral arrangements for us which were beautiful and exactly what we had envisioned!

Ericka was truly the best investment for my wedding. Imagine being a perfectionist control-freak who is trying to plan her wedding during a global Pandemic. Ericka took on all of my stresses and made the entire process rather relaxed and enjoyable. She was available to communicate with all of my other vendors and was constantly offering to take items off of my to-do list. Simply knowing that someone else cared as much about my big day going off without a hitch enabled me to turn over the reins and enjoy the ride. I would absolutely recommend Ericka to anyone and everyone. I better not need to get married again, but if I do, Ericka will be my first call.

My husband and I really enjoyed working with EGE. Ericka worked with us to determine the services that we needed and we really appreciated the flexibility of the a la carte services. Ericka was incredibly attentive, organized, and resourceful and I knew that I could count on her to get things done. She was available when I needed her and really helped to take away a lot of the stress that comes along with wedding planning. On the day of the wedding, Ericka efficiently handled any “emergencies” that came up so that I was able to relax and enjoy the day. I am so grateful to have had Ericka’s support during wedding planning and on our wedding day. I highly recommend her for all of your wedding planning needs!

EGE was perfect for the a-la-carte needs my husband and I had during our wedding planning. We knew we wanted help with our vision and someone to be our right-hand on the day-of, but other than that, we didn't really know what we needed! Working with Ericka was so easy because when something new came up we were able to easily adjust, add ,or edit the services she provided. Ericka was indispensable as an objective third-party, helping me make decisions, narrow down options, and even going to vendor meetings when we moved out of town 6 months before the wedding! By the time the wedding was 2-3 weeks away, I handed everything over to Ericka or I might have lost my mind. Ericka treated each decision like it was her own wedding, and I felt confident leaving many decisions completely up to her. We walked into the venue on our wedding day just stunned that this was OUR wedding. Thanks, Ericka! You gave me the best wedding gift--the ability to truly relax and enjoy our day. We will never forget it!
