Our experience with Essen Events and Hailey, in particular, was absolutely outstanding. Hailey and her team were an absolute dream to work with, and we can't thank them enough for their exceptional service and professionalism. From the moment we hired Hailey for day-of coordination, we knew we were in good hands. Hailey's expertise and attention to detail were evident from the start. She seamlessly took the wheel a month prior to the wedding, communicating with vendors and ensuring that every detail was in place. Hailey's professionalism and organizational skills were truly impressive. She expertly managed every aspect of our wedding, from coordinating with vendors to ensuring that everything ran smoothly on the day of. My husband and I worked with Hailey and her team at Essen Events for our wedding last May, and had an exceptional experience with both the floral and day of coordination services we booked. While looking for a vendor in this space, it was important to me that the coordination and floral were from one vendor. I just felt this would be the smoothest option. Essen laid out their package options very clearly and after a call with Hailey to talk about the initial details, I booked pretty quickly! Haileys professionalism and portfolio made this an easy decision. Over our almost two year planning process, I loved having access to Essen's Aisle Planner online. Even though I didn't use it to organize every single thing, it helped me make sure I was considering all the important vendors/pieces to the big day, and gave me a space to save inspo for floral and decor. It really helped me along in the planning that I took on myself. I initially went in thinking I would do one style/color scheme etc. and by the time we reached about a month out from the wedding, my vision changed completely. Hailey was available for update calls when requested, and went right along with my ideas and really helped the vision come to life! I couldn't be happier with how she and her floral team made it all come together the day of. Nicole was in charge of the day of coordination piece, and I think she handled it very well. We met once a month out from the wedding and then emailed several times a week from then on to nail down the schedule and other details such as vendor contacts, song choices, set up items etc. The wedding day went so. flawlessly. I was stressed out in the morning but once we got through HMU and photos and Nicole and her assistant met us at the church, I felt so relieved - it felt like they had everything under control from that point. If things went wrong at my wedding, I didn't hear about them or couldn't notice them if I tried.. I just got to be in the moment and enjoy being a bride :) All in all, Hailey, Nicole and the Essen team ensured I had a beautiful wedding and allowed me and my husband to enjoy it to the fullest. Everything went so perfectly, I could not be happier that we hired Essen. I would highly recommend Essen Events to anyone looking for floral and/or planning services!!

Nearly a year into our two years of wedding planning, our original day-of coordinator bailed on us. I was so panicked and desperate to find someone. Essen came highly recommended by a friend in the industry, they were fortunately available on our date, and, at the end of the day, they were the best thing to have happened to us. Hailey took us on and matched us up with Melya, and they both ended up being there on the day of our wedding, and I couldn't be more grateful for the two of them. They went so above and beyond, in my opinion, to make things as truly stress-free for us as possible. They use the Aisle Planner program, which was so easy to use, and I sure did use it a lot!! Melya hopped onto communicating with our vendors using all the information I put into Aisle Planner, and it was like she became an extension of me. I didn't even think about needing to manage her in any capacity - I just handed it all over to her and was able to truly relax and enjoy the lead-up to the wedding. On the actual day-of, she did an incredible job of keeping the day flowing and keeping all of us on task. She readily stepped in to fix the few minor issues that cropped up. I want to be clear: there are bound to be issues on wedding days, but because of the extensive planning and communication we had, I can honestly say our wedding day was essentially flawless. If anything major happened, I sure don't know about it :) In all, I cannot recommend Essen enough. Hailey and Melya are lovely people and are SO good at what they do, and I will forever appreciate how they stepped in when we needed them and all the work they put in that made our wedding day perfect.

Hailey and Essen Events did Day of Coordination for us and it was one of the best decisions we made for our day! So many of our guests kept saying “how did everything go so perfectly!?” and “I can’t believe there was nothing that went wrong!” I definitely think we can attribute that to Hailey and her team. They took care of all of the questions that came up throughout the day and it ran so smoothly. They take over all vendor communication for the month leading up to the wedding which was a huge stress reliever and such a perk of having Essen as your day of coordinator. If you are thinking about getting a day off coordinator, DO IT and pick Essen Events! The picture added is right after we walked down the aisle and totally captures how much Hailey cares about each and every one of her couples ❤️

Hailey, Nicole, Melya, and their team did an AMAZING job on our wedding day!! There was not a single thing that I wished they did differently, everything went exactly as expected and so smoothly! (or if it didn't, I didn't know about it at all!!). They were all so nice, easy to work with, and made us confident that they had it all under control. I would highly recommend using the Essen team for planning and coordination, they exceeded our expectations!

If I could give you one piece of wedding planning advice: HIRE ESSEN EVENTS FOR FLORAL AND DAY OF COORDINATION!!! I have nothing but AMAZING things to say about the Essen Events team. I truly could not have hand-picked a better floral/day-of coordination vendor. Florals - Hailey was amazing and took my vision and brought it to life...but a million times better! I am still obsessed with every floral detail from my wedding and we got SO MANY compliments from our guests on our florals. We had multiple people tell us that they were the most beautiful florals they'd ever seen and multiple people asked Hailey for her card. I seriously tear up thinking about my florals. Coordination - we had the pleasure of working with Melya for our day-of coordination. She went above and beyond helping coordinate timeline, troubleshoot vendor issues, setting up and tearing down every piece of decor, and fielding everyone's questions. Just one amazing example of how helpful she was: I forgot a frame for a photo we were going to be using in our ceremony and she helped switch out our unplugged ceremony sign for a photo of my brother that was going to be incorporated into our ceremony within minutes of walking down the aisle. She left the unplugged ceremony sign until all guests were sat, and then switched out the sign with the photo for the first bridesmaid to walk down the aisle with. Amazing! Thank you Essen team!!

Wowow we don’t even know where to start! Working with Hailey was one of the best decisions we ever made. She was our full-service wedding planner and did our florals for our September 2023 wedding. Hailey made the whole wedding planning process fun and easy—something that we were very worried about before working with her because of our busy schedules. She was able to make our vision a reality and truly create the wedding of our dreams with her coordinating, design guides, and flowers! The tablespaces and installs we were dreaming of truly would not have been able to come to life without the help of Hailey :) Hailey also checked all of our vendor contracts and was a main contact for several of our vendors which was incredibly helpful—especially in the few weeks leading up to our wedding. Not only that, but the actual wedding day went incredibly smooth—we even had several guests come up to us and our parents saying this is the smoothest and most beautiful :) wedding they had ever attended. Hailey also made sure we had appetizers saved for us during the busy cocktail hour and drinks handed to us after our ceremony :) I can’t stress enough how amazing Hailey and the Essen team is and we are just so thankful to have worked with them! :)

I had the pleasure of working with Hailey Barrett from Essen Events as both my wedding planner and my florist. I chose the partial planning package - it was the perfect fit for what I was looking for (I needed design guidance and industry expertise, but also wanted to have a part in the planning process). AND let me tell you .... I could NOT be happier with how our wedding went. From the moment my husband and I met Hailey, we felt at ease with Hailey's energy - she's such an expert and a professional, but she is also SO easy to chat with and just be around (even when I was a little stressed girlie). I explored a few options for a wedding planner, and what set Hailey apart for me was her genuine passion for the couples she works with. She has a sparkle and an excitement for what she does, and she helped make my CRAZY dreams come true (like the INSANELY GORGEOUS FLORAL INSTALLATION that we repurposed as a centerpiece for our dancefloor!!! LIKE WHAT?!). Before finding Essen Events, I was really worried about how I would make my pinterest board of dreams into a reality. Hailey took my ideas from pinterest and asked about some of our desires for the day and made a design plan that we could execute from all of my SCATTERED ideas. That's true talent!! It was so comforting to see how we could achieve the look I wanted. Hailey and her team are not JUST wedding planners and florists - they are ARTISTS, they are KIND, they are your HYPE GIRLS, they are the right choice for your wedding if you're looking to be surrounded by gorgeous vibes and wonderful people. We cannot thank Essen Events and Hailey, Nicole, and Victoria enough for helping make our wedding day the best day ever! Hailey, Nicole, and Essen's Aisle Planner software kept our planning on-track and stress-free, and Nicole and Victoria kept our big day on-track and stress-free, from beginning to end. One of our guest's plus-one happened to be an out-of-state wedding coordinator and at the end of the night she said our wedding had "the perfect run-of-show" -- we agree! The best decision we made during this whole process was hiring Hailey as our wedding planner. She made everything so easy - she took the overwhelming and made it manageable. I am an easily stressed person and would not have survived the day if not for her and her team. Our wedding was so perfect - absolutely magical, and so seamless! If there were fires to put out, we didn't know it. She handled everything. I absolutely recommend her and her team!

Thank goodness for the Essen team! For weeks, we have continued to say how thankful we were to have hired Haley and team. Despite only hiring them for the day-of planning, Haley was so generous with her time and effort to make sure the day was flawless. A few weeks before, she ensured the last details were set with our vendors (huge relief) and day-of really helped with the flow of the ceremony and reception (I did not realize how important this would be!). They are so passionate about your day being a dream. Seriously, our wedding turned out PERFECT and a massive reason for that was because of the Essen team taking care of background details, and offering such helpful tools ahead of time for month-of planning (ex: seating charts, timelines, music lists, ceremony outline, writing out what decor you need, and just great basic advice). Additionally, about half of our vendors were recommendations from them and were wonderful to work with. If you are even considering a day-of coordinator, DO IT! Absolutely 100% would recommend hiring Essen Events for your wedding.

We hired Hailey and her team for full service planning and floral design. She created design boards for the wedding and floral design which perfectly captured my vision for the day. Her floral designs were absolutely breathtaking and really made the design for the event spaces go from good to breathtaking. She was great in helping us determine event space options and narrow down our choices. She provided excellent recommendations for vendors. Day of, everything felt like it had a time and place - the day flowed smoothly thanks to her detailed timeline.

We hired Hailey and the Essen Events team for our floral and day of coordination package. We have nothing but incredible things to say about Hailey and her team. From the moment we hired them to when we left the venue as a married couple, they were incredible. Even as busy as she is, Hailey was able to get back to us in a timely manner with every last one of our questions. Our wedding was at The Hutton House and Hailey had plenty of recommendations and thoughts about what would look good and how we could reuse the floral at different points in the day. Hailey was also such a calming presence on a very hectic and sometimes stressful day and we were grateful we hired them for our day of coordination. The Essen team handled most of the communication with our vendors as our wedding day was getting closer and they were very thorough with ensuring everything was set up for an incredible day. We wish we could rate them higher than 5 stars!

Hire Essen Events!! We worked with the Essen team for our wedding coordination in June. We met with Hailey various times throughout the planning process and she made us feel comfortable and confident in all of the decisions we made. The Essen online planning tool is a lifesaver too! Melya was our amazing day of coordinator. Planning our wedding from out of state, we had a lot of upfront coordination to do and Melya handled everything with ease from the vendors, decor set up and rehearsal. Thank you so much Essen team for making our day so amazing and one we could fully enjoy!

Hailey made all my floral dreams come true!! I was just blown away by her and her teams talent, our venue was already beautiful but the flowers made it STUNNING!

I have to say hiring Hailey and her team for our wedding was BY FAR the best thing we did for our wedding. Our day was perfect. I can honestly say not a single thing went wrong that I’m aware of. And what bride can truly say that? I believe it was in large part due to Hailey’s attention to detail, care, and professionalism. She’s also just an all around great person which makes planning fun and relaxed. She also did our floral and we received many compliments on all of the floral displays. We loved everything she did for our wedding!

We used Essen for both Day of Coordination and florals. They stepped in to do florals last minute when our other florist fell through and were honestly the biggest lifesaver and did a BEAUTIFUL job. I thought I was a really organized and on-top-of-it bride but they thought of questions to ask and things to plan for that I never would have, in addition to being so sweet and pleasant to work with. They are also super experienced and connected in the Minneapolis wedding vendor community which was really helpful for additional recommendations and relationships.

Hailey and her team are PURE MAGIC! First off, I was amazed to find out they could manage both coordination and floral - if you require both of these services, I HIGHLY recommend using Essen for both. Hailey was such a great communicator from the start and a huge help in more ways than expected, she provided a planning tool that kept everything in line and I did not have a worry in the world knowing Essen had everything down to a T. The day of, Marie and her team were wizards managing to get every detail setup and teared down (might I add in MN summer humidity) ensuring the entire time I did not have to lift a finger, yet somehow making my vision come to life. You will not regret working with Essen Events!

Hailey at Essen Events was incredible to work with. We hired Hailey for our floral, design, and day of coordinator. She did an excellent job creating a design guide and helping us source all rentals. She helped us reschedule due to COVID by communicating with all vendors, something she did not need to provide but went above and beyond to do so. Hailey provided us with an online software to help plan the wedding and worked with all vendors to create the day of timeline. On the wedding day, she took care of all set up and tear down. She was the best day of coordinator, ensuring everything was on time and smoothly. We would not have had such a beautiful and smooth wedding without Hailey! She is excellent at what she does and I cannot say enough good things about her. I would highly recommend Hailey to any bride looking for floral, design, or a wedding planner!

Hailey is a magician! We hired her as our florist and day-of-coordinator, and we’re so glad we did. While we were planning, Hailey always responded promptly and made herself available for quick phone calls if we had any questions or concerns about anything- which was so helpful when our plans completely changed during COVID. She’s professional, and she stays relaxed and approachable, so we always felt like we could ask her anything, anytime. Having someone so organized and so knowledgeable about events was such a comfort. On the day of the wedding, she made our event space look gorgeous with her floral and decor. As coordinator, from setup to tear down, she kept everything running smoothly. And she was ready for everything! When I spilled an entire glass of red wine down the front of my dress, Hailey was there with club soda and helped me get it out before I even realized what was happening. She’s who you want in charge of all the details so you can really enjoy your day. We can’t recommend her enough!

Hailey is an absolute gem! I have followed her work for a while and love everything she has created. She was incredibly organized, was willing to meet with me to just vent and figure out what to do for a wedding during a pandemic. She listened to the vision and vibe I had and created beautiful bouquets and bud vases. We had to downsize due to the pandemic, but Hailey still came through to create beautiful arrangements with a smaller budget. She really listened and was able to do more than I could have imagined.

I am so happy that I chose Essen Events for my wedding flowers! Hailey was very organized and friendly. I was impressed that she creates custom quotes for interested customers, which include images of what your flowers might look like (I find that other florists weren't as helpful on this front). I also found her prices to be reasonable. I ended up ordering 2 bridal bouquets (for split wedding), 6 bridesmaid bouquets, a toss bouquet, cake flowers, and 22 centerpieces for $2,000. We split up our wedding ceremony and reception because of COVID-19, and I am looking forward to see what Hailey will create for the reception. The bridal bouquet and the bridesmaid bouquets I got for the ceremony were absolutely gorgeous! They had a lovely color palette, and I thought they were the perfect size. We decided to pick them up from Hailey's house to save on delivery costs, and they were securely packaged. She even let me keep the vases! Overall, I had a very positive experience with Essen Events.

Hailey with Essen Events was fantastic for our September wedding! The flowers she provided for bouquets and centerpieces were not only gorgeous, but they stayed beautiful for weeks after our event and the quality was outstanding. Hayley is so awesome! Our day was made so much easier by booking with ESSEN. We not only had Hayley do our flowers but we also rented decorations from her which was a huge time and headache saver. I only had to buy a handful of separate items that she couldn't provide and were easily found at Michaels/Hobby Lobby. Hayley is so friendly and has a beautiful vision for weddings. She is willing to listen to what the bride/grooms vision is too and incorporate that in perfectly to their day.

My husband and I used Essen Events to help us with the last month of our wedding planning and our wedding day. Hailey was amazing! She had such thoughtful and in-depth answers to all of our questions (we had many as neither of us have planned a large event before). Hailey helped with our wedding day timeline and kept our day moving as planned. She made sure our parents were happy and taken care of, and coordinated with all the vendors so that things went smoothly. We even heard about a few hiccups that happened at the wedding, but not until after the fact. Hailey solved any issue that came up without my husband or I knowing it was even a problem. Hailey and her assistant worked incredibly hard until after midnight on our wedding day making sure our day was perfect. You will not regret considering Hailey and her team to help coordinate your event! It was money well spent!

Hailey was my day of coordinator and she was wonderful to work with! She went to my venue walkthrough with me, was very responsive to emails, and told me to just relax before my wedding as she took care of all the vendor contacts. On the day of I got to have fun and enjoy myself because I knew Hailey has all the details taken care of, she had all my decorations and stuff packed and ready in my car so at the end of the night I could just get in my car and leave. I’m really happy I got to work with her because my wedding was just perfect :)

Essen Events was a perfect touch and a worthy investment for our daughters wedding. Hailey excels at taking your vision and making it a reality. She was timely with all of our correspondence whether text, email, or phone call. She collaborated with calm and confidence with everyone involved from venue to wedding party. Her floral creations were stunning and gave the event space an extra creative flair. She is also a lovely person to work with which is an added A+ bonus. If you want to simply enjoy the wedding day and have someone else worry about all the details this is your answer.

Hiring Hailey was easily one of the best wedding planning decisions we made. She did everything you hope a planner will do (and way more): she handled the details, coordinated vendors, managed the rehearsal, set up decor, calmed us down when we were stressing, etc. But what made her so fantastic is that she managed to do this with such ease, patience, and style. She was calm, organized, friendly, and creative. She took our ideas and made them better. She made our wedding feel uniquely us - something I didn't know was possible. My fiance and I were not planning to hire any sort of wedding planner but, somewhat late in the process, decided to hire Hailey. We were skeptical and thought we could do it all on our own - we were wrong. Hailey made it possible for us to let go and truly enjoy our day without stress. I cannot recommend her enough. I simply could not have enjoyed my wedding as much as I did without her. You will not regret hiring her.
