Ethan Allen Hotel

Ethan Allen offered everything we wanted in a wedding venue. Our guest appreciated being able to stay in the same hotel where the wedding was being held. The ballroom is elegant and the food is delicious. Lynne did an excellent job guiding us through the planning stages. All of the employees made us feel very special on our wedding day.

Ethan Allen was the perfect venue for our wedding reception (and rehearsal dinner)!!! Choosing a venue for your wedding can be an extremely daunting task, and we’re so glad that we went with the team at Ethan Allen. Lynn was an absolute pleasure to work with. She responded to my many emails in an extremely timely manner and ensured that all the details regarding our wedding were flawless. Greg was great...he was there throughout both events to ensure that everything was going smoothly. Sunny and her team of servers were phenomenal. Our food was delicious (thanks chef!) and piping hot!! Deanna was a lovely bridal attendant. She ensured that I had everything I needed throughout the night. We got married almost a month ago, and our guests are still raving about their experience at Ethan Allen. Many guests stayed over, and loved the convenience of having their hotel room at the same location as our reception. They also loved utilizing the hotel bar for our after party!!! Ethan Allen is not only a beautiful venue, but also super convenient. We highly recommend Ethan Allen!!!!!

Ethan Allen gave us the absolute best day of our lives. We had the pleasure of working with Joseph and he put all our worries to rest and made sure everything was all set for our day. We met Greg at our ceremony rehearsal and he knew exactly what he was doing and was so on top of things, he kept the wedding on track and we would have been lost without him. The courtyard and the reception hall were both beautiful, the food was delicious (everyone can’t stop talking about how it’s the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding), the staff was professional and great to work with, and you just can’t beat the convenience of ending the night and walking upstairs to your hotel room. We would highly recommend having your wedding at the Ethan Allen Hotel!!

The venue is beautiful and food taste great.. but if you are looking for a place that knows how to manage an expensive party “during” your party - think again! One disappointment after another. the organization, communication, and professionalism wasn’t there. We don’t get re-do’s on a years worth of planning. This was a big let down for me, my daughter, and my guests

MOST AMAZING WEDDING WEEKEND!!!! From the moment we walked into the Ethan Allen (March 2018) and met with Eileen, we knew that this was the place we wanted to get married. From start to finish the process was stress free and seamless. The tasting, all the meetings, the rehearsal ceremony, the wedding day, ceremony, reception, after party, the brunch the morning after was all AMAZING!!!! Joe C did an excellent job setting up the ceremony room, the reception, the dessert bar, the brunch, etc. Greg was exceptional, he made us all feel so comfortable, and made sure we were on a timeline throughout the day. All the staff, from the front desk, the bar staff, the hosts, the chefs, etc did an excellent job perfecting our special day!!!! I highly recommend getting married at the Ethan Allen Hotel. We recently got married at the Ethan Allen Hotel. Every single moment involved with planning and the day of the wedding was stress free and easy! The whole day ran smoothly. The convenience of the hotel and wedding all in one place made all of our guests happy! Teresa, Sunny, Mia, Angela, Lenny, Kevin, Oksana, Linda and Lee were extremely attentive and helpful the entire night! Our guest were complementing the staff of the hotel the whole time! Almost 9 months after our wedding and we are still getting compliments about our wedding and reception at the Ethan Allen. I can't say enough great things about the team at Ethan Allen. The second my husband and I met Eileen we knew this was where we will be getting married. Every meeting we had with Eileen was great and she made the most important vendor of our day the easiest to work with. We had an April wedding and loved the flexibility of being able to get married outside. We were extremely lucky with the weather and Eileen made our outdoor ceremony happen. The day of the wedding Eileen and her team were with us every step of the way, which allowed us to focus on the most important part of the day - US :). The food and drinks were amazing and we were all blown away by the Venetian hour. The guests still talk about the amount of delicious desserts. The bridal attendants were amazing and saved us a plate of the cocktail hour food to enjoy, while our guests were being seated for reception. The finishing touch of the evening was our bridal suite was decorated by on of our bridal attendants Angela with roses and champagne. It was the perfect end to a perfect day. Thank you again and I highly recommend Eileen and her team at the Ethan Allen!

Chris and I visited one wedding venue, and after meeting with Eileen and speaking with her for five minutes, we knew that one venue was all we would need to visit. Eileen worked with us every step of the way, coordinating meetings and phone calls (since we lived a few hours away) to make sure that all our questions were answered, and wedding jitters assuaged. Eileen and the staff responded to every inquiry almost immediately and she was always there with a kind word, a plan… and a backup plan, to make sure that no stone was unturned. Her and the staff were always kind, helpful, and enthusiastic about making our wedding day exactly as we dreamed. We couldn’t have asked for a better planner and staff to help us through our special day. The staff make this a slam dunk choice for your wedding venue, but I would be remiss if we didn’t talk about the venue itself and what it has to offer. The room was gorgeous and easily accommodated the 200 people we had for our wedding. The food was absolutely delicious, and they were able to provide gluten free meals for myself and a few of our other guests (including one guest with Celiac Disease) while also preparing a fantastic spread for the rest of our guests. Our guests raved about all of the courses from the poached pear and candied walnuts salad and butternut squash ravioli, to the passed Hors d’oeuvres and stunning main courses. The Viennese table was breathtaking and offered more choices than you can possibly imagine. On top of the wedding itself, the Hotel made it easy and affordable for all our guests to stay with us for the full weekend since our guests were from out of town. The rooms were well priced, immaculately clean, and had the style and décor that you would expect when you hear the name Ethan Allen. The front desk (especially Kim) was incredibly helpful in providing us updates on our room blocks and helping make sure our guests were included so we could have enough hotel bags for everyone. We could not have asked for anything more from the venue or the staff at the Ethan Allen Hotel. From the day we booked our wedding with Eileen until we checked out of the Bridal Suite they were attentive, prepared and wonderful people to work with and we would gladly recommend any of our friends and family to host any large event there.

”BEST WEDDING EVER!” Was heard thru the night and the very next day! The calls, texts and posts echo the same for days! If you want to hear these words about your wedding then... you have to call Eileen Whitney, Director of Weddings and Special Events at Ethan Allen inn! She leads a team of consumate professionals committed to provide you the best experience ever. Eileen will lead you step by step through the entire process from prep thru the day of the event. She has an ”A” list of excellent local vendors all who are there to serve your event as best as they can. We could not be more pleased, from the rehearsal dinner, to brunch the day after the wedding. Greg the Banquet Manager has superb people managing skills (which I compare to hearding puppies.) from staging the entrance of the bridal party to the big entrance at the reception are top notch! The Bride, had Sunny the dedicated service captain. Sunny ( with a most shining personality to match her name.) stayed with the bridal party from early morning to reception. She made made certain the groups every need was met, not to mention fed and qhydrated. The staff performs a well rehearsed ballet, from Prep of the elegantly decorated ceremony, followed by a seamless transition to the cocktail hour, into the reception! The team is flawless from the front desk to the maintenance crew. The Chef Claudio and his kitchen staff presents beautiful and tasty food! The restaurant and bar service is terrific! The plentiful inventory of rooms are spacious and well maintained. It was such a pleasure to have every guest stay under the same roof! Our event was topped off as we continued with an afterparty in the bar with a DJ, kept the party going till 2:00am! My only disappointment, we should have booked two more hours! We highly recommend The Ethan Allen Inn. The team knows one of the great secret of life, as described by by Lewis Carol: ”one of the great secrets in life is that all that is really worth the doing, is what we do for others” I can't wait to go back for an event...Thinking we get a group together for their New Year's Eve Celebration!

If you are looking for a picture perfect venue with the most highly competent staff to help you put together the wedding of your dreams - look no further! We went to a wedding expo here and absolutely fell in love with the space and Eileen! She was what gave us the confidence to book the most special day of our lives at the Ethan Allen. She was so knowledgeable and attentive in the year leading up to the event she streamlined everything for us and communicated with our other vendors to make sure everything would go as we hoped. I felt confident every step of the way that the wedding would be great. The day of the wedding everything was beautiful, and the staff who help coordinate the day were great. They clearly knew what they were doing and that helped ease my stress because I knew things would all flow with the staff to help move it along. We got married in May when the tornados touched down in CT and NY and there were hundreds of displaced families and first responders seeking shelter in the hotel and the staff made sure our wedding still went off without a hitch. Robert and Greg made sure the details of the ceremony and the reception were executed correctly and everything went according to plan. We had our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception at the Ethan Allen and we are 1000% happy with how it all went. We HIGHLY recommend planning your special event here.

I don’t know were to start… I got married at Ethan Allen Inn on September 22, 2018. It was the most memorable day of my life and I owe that all to the staff at Ethan Allen. When you walk into the Inn, you do not feel like a guest, you feel like family. I had an appointment to meet with the wedding coordinator on October 31, 2017. I was so nervous…. And then I met Eileen. Talking and planning my wedding with Eileen was such a joy. Her attention to detail was always right on. She saw my vision --elegant, sophisticated, classy and added more to my ideas as the wedding planning progressed. When talking with Eileen it was like I was talking to a friend. Her attention to detail was phenomenal. She treated me and my family like we were family. She is perspective to the needs of others as if she was planning her own child’s wedding. No matter what I threw at her she always had a smile on her face and the most positive attitude I’ve ever seen. The day of my wedding I did not have to worry about a thing… All I had to do was walk down the aisle and have fun. Eileen is a great asset to Ethan Allen Inn. When I first met Eileen, she was my wedding coordinator for the first five minutes, now she has become a dear friend. Thank you Eileen for being you!!!

AMAZING is an understatement!! The moment Eileen Whitney walked me into her office and sat me down i felt like the most important bride in the world. She helped me pick vendors and gave me honest feedback every step of the way. I honestly have NO IDEA what i would have done without this woman. Ethan Allen Hotel seriously made my dreams come true. The rehearsal dinner, bridal suite, hair and make up room, ballrooms, court yard, guest rooms, area for cocktail hour and post wedding breakfast...(trust me i used ALL of them) were set up beautifully and i couldn't have done a better job myself. The staff was accommodating and quick to jump at any request. My captain was so kind and helped ease my nerves. I wish i could sky write my love for this venue...if anyone is thinking about booking here...DON'T HESITATE!!! trust me you wont be sorry!!!!!!

I giggle just thinking about writing this review. I thoroughly researched dozens of venues, costs, locations, menus and distance. I created a spreadsheet for my husband and I to go on tours and scout out our favorites. On a whim, I sent a quick email to Ethan Allen saying we were going to be in the area and grabbing a drink in their bar and looking around. Eileen replied and said she would love to meet with us. Grabbed our drink, sat in the lobby for a minute and here comes Eileen. Looking back, I swear she had a halo and wings. We walked around, sat and chatted about our families, kids, menu, tables, flowers and signed a contract. All previous preparation for any other venue was gone in a second, Poof! Ha! The next 7 months, she went above and beyond a hundred times. Our tasting, the food was delish but more, the heartfelt conversations we had with Eileen are really what made this all feel like it was meant to be. My florist and I drove her insane with table design for 3 months and she never lost her cool. She would just say "Jen, I don't think that will work, come up and show me what you want." Linens, menus, adding, deleting, weather, everything. She was on it from day one. The space was perfect for the vision we had, we were thrilled with every detail even before we got the BIG DAY... Then, it got even better. The staff at Ethan Allen, all of them... the front desk girls who laughed at us for running in circles, the bartenders for knowing to just pour a glass of wine when one of us looked too stressed, Eileen for being this amazing calming presence wherever she was. Her smile, laughter and warmth made the chaos around us, all settled. She was always there. Just when you think to go looking for her, she is there. Bringing in some comfy chairs, or stools for the makeup artist. The food was amazing, the setup was spot on. The service staff, perfect. Sunny, this perfect woman who was there for us all day, took care of things I never would have thought of until it was too late. While we were on the dance floor, she packed up our food, the cake, the bridal suite, flowers and had them all in our room waiting. We didn't have to do anything. We didn't have to think about anything but enjoying the perfect day with our loved ones. I knew the day we met Eileen that we were connected somehow. She is more than a coordinator, she is a genuinely beautiful human with a huge heart who wanted our day to be perfect. I consider her my friend now and will forever remember our wedding day as beautiful, perfect and touched by OUR angels, together. Thank you Eileen, Ethan Allen and your entire staff for an amazing job.

I don't think it is possible to accurately put into words how AMAZING our wedding was at the Ethan Allen Hotel but here is my best shot. As soon as I met Eileen Whitney I knew I had to have my wedding here. Her personality instantly clicked with ours and I knew immediately that I was in the best hands. Every step of the way she was responsive , helpful and knew what I wanted even before I did. She was so dedicated that she even emailed me on her days off. When the day of the wedding finally came I knew it would be great, but I was blown away when I walked into the venue. Every single detail was done to perfection. The food was amazing, the staff was helpful, and sure enough there was Eileen making sure that everything went off without a hitch. All of our guests have raved about the food and how beautiful the space was, and the hotel rooms were amazing as well. My husband Randy and I cannot stop talking about our experience with everyone at the Ethan Allen. There is not even one thing that could have been better. Our wedding was the definition of perfection and we owe it all to Eileen and the rest of the wonderful staff at the Ethan Allen Hotel. Thank you so much for the most amazing day of our lives!

My husband and I were incredibly happy with our decision to have our wedding at the Ethan Allen Hotel. Selling points for us were: the ability to have all our guests together in one hotel; the beautiful decor - including wonderful natural light and outdoor space for our cocktail hour and morning after brunch; the convenience of an on-site chef and dining services; and most importantly- Eileen! Upon meeting Eileen, we were confident that she would take great care of us throughout our planning process and the wedding day. Her professionalism is matched by her personal investment in each couple she works with, which was important to us. Eileen suggested the chef could make a local dish from my husband’s native country, and they successfully made delicious meat pies (with a Ghanaian recipe) as part of our cocktail hors d’oeuvres. This is one of the many examples of the personal investment she made in us. In all, we highly recommend the Ethan Allen Hotel for your wedding or other event.

Eileen and ALL of the staff (especially Robert, Sonny, & Greg) at the Ethan Allen hotel were absolutely amazing. Our day wouldn’t of been as perfect without all of their help and support. My, now husband, and I did not have to lift a finger the day of our wedding. They were organized, punctual, and most of all got to know us within a sort time to cater to our every need. The food was out of this world and the venue was beautiful. I had very specific details I wanted to incorpaorate during our big day and they, without question, got the job done. There was not one complaint nor one stressful moment at our time spent there. It was a wedding we could of only of dreamed about and would have a wedding once a year there if we could. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommended!!!!

I cannot say enough positive things about EAH and Eileen Whitney. Starting from our initial outreach and tour of the space, to reviewing open dates, pricing & menus, tasting, coordinating with our vendors, helping with guest rooms, and of course, our main event (the wedding!), both EAH and Eileen were absolute stars. I hear so many stories about brides being beyond stressed on their wedding day, and Eileen really made sure that wasn't going to happen. My husband and I fully endorse EAH for any type of event you may be planning.

Our wedding day was nothing short of perfection. We had our rehearsal, ceremony and reception at Ethan Allen and I cannot say enough positive things about Ethan Allen. I cannot begin to express the gratitude we feel toward Ethan Allen and staff, especially Eileen. My planning process was simple and stress free. Eileen took care of all the details and assisted me every step of the way. She helped me create what I envisioned for my perfect day. I am still getting compliments on how delicious the food was. If you are thinking about having a wedding, or any special occasion, run… do not walk, to the Ethan Allen Hotel! I recently had my rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception and morning after breakfast at Ethan Allen and it was absolutely flawless! On a day that you expect perfection, but also plan for the worst, I received only the former. From Greg, who was our captain and made sure everything ran smoothly and wrangled my bridal party expertly while never making us feel like we weren’t having fun. To Svetlana, my attendant, who left me feeling like she was genuinely as happy for me as any family member in attendance. She watched over me, made sure I ate and had something to drink, gathered all our gifts and cards and brought them to our room and managed to always be there without ever being obtrusive. And to Kim at reception who always had a smile on her face and made sense out of chaos as I changed room reservations left and right (the rooms at the hotel are big and gorgeous! My guests loved them) There wasn’t a staff member who wasn’t gracious, kind and helpful. Many of my guests reiterated that point to me. And the food was FANTASTIC! Huge kudos to the chef who managed to make banquet catering taste like individually ordered Michelin starred meals! But I have saved the best for last… Eileen, or Wonder Woman as I came to think of her in my head. I walked in to Ethan Allen to just check out the venue and within seconds of meeting Eileen, I knew I had my location. She oozes an energy of complete confidence that she knows exactly what she’s doing and really cares about you and your event. I am an event planner by trade and there are very few people I would have felt comfortable leaving all my months of planning in the hands of but Eileen. She executed my vision even better than I would have myself! I, quite literally, did nothing but relax and enjoy my wedding day because that was the gift Eileen gave me. She was such a pleasure to work with leading up to the event that we became great friends . I even invited her to the wedding (and to my great delight, she came!) When on earth does that ever happen? Only with someone as special and unique as Eileen. It is without a single hesitation I recommend Ethan Allen Hotel and their amazing staff for your special day as well.

Highly recommend the Ethan Allen Hotel for your wedding reception! Eileen is amazing! From the time we met her 2 years before our wedding she was always on top of everything! It made my wedding process stress free and smooth! The food- amazing, the staff- amazing! everything was top notch and up to my high expectations! All my guests were very pleased with their entire experience at the hotel!! Will definitely return for future events!!

My wedding was last Saturday at Ethan Allen, and Eileen and her team did an AMAZING job ! Eileen was the most helpful, and generous woman I have ever met! She went above and beyond all my expectations. Robert, our bridal attendant, was so sweet and helpful! By the end of the night, everything was back in my room and taken care of! I never lifted a finger! Thank you Ethan Allen for making our wedding a beautiful and wonderful experience!

Our wedding was an absolute fairytale. Eileen was there every step of the way in helping to plan our dream night- from vendor selections to photo ideas to linens. Eileen went above and beyond to make sure everything went off without a hitch, and even took out a hot glue gun to help fix the topper for the grooms cake. We have to give the entire staff of Ethan Allen high praises for making our day so special. All of our guests praised the food above all, saying they have never had such delicious food at a wedding- hor d’oeuvres/main meal/dessert. Though the entire staff at Ethan Allen did a stellar job, I had to also call out our wedding attendant-Jane, as well as the head waiter/men in charge- Greg and Robert. Anytime we needed anything they were there to assist and made sure that the bride and groom ate and drank enough. We highly recommend Ethan Allen. As previously stated, Eileen and the entire staff made our wedding a truly momentous occasion and treated us like family.

If you are looking for a fairytale wedding this is your castle! Your fairy god mother Eileen really does make all your dreams come true... AND MORE! The EAH is beyond beautiful with an AMAZING staff. I don't like using the word staff, they were all family that day. We met Eileen at a wedding show in Jan 2017 and we just fell in love with her and her charisma. We set up our meeting immediately and it was our first and last meeting for a venue for our Feb 2018 wedding. The moment we walked into the Hotel we know this is where we would start the next chapter of our life. Eileen makes everything so easy and always made sure I wasn't stressed. The EAH runs only one wedding at a time which is great. We were the main focus. Honestly we know that they run weddings all year long, but when you are with Eileen it is ONLY your wedding happening. I don't know how she does it! She truly is magical! I drew up a little idea almost a year before the wedding and she worked with Dave from SpinDoctors DJ to create this amazing fantasy dream of a wedding come true. Eileen will literally read your mind and go above and beyond any expectation you can possibly dream up. Our day came and EVERYONE was amazing. Everyone that works there did anything and everything to make the day go so smooth. We used all local vendors who work along side each other all the time and it was more then perfect. We even decided to change our center pieces two weeks before the big day and Eileen made it happen! She used her magic to create this beautiful evening. We have been told by many of our guests that our wedding was the best wedding that have ever attended. It is all because of our now family at the EAH and all the love and hard work they put into making your day absolutely spectacular. Eileen we love you so much and everything you have done for us! The Ethan Allen Hotel was a wonderful venue for our small wedding. We held the ceremony and cocktail hour in the main lobby area and the dinner in the conservatory. Although the space was open it still felt intimate. We took a lot of photos in the courtyard which was a beautiful setting. The dinner tables in the conservatory were set up beautifully – we were blown away when we saw them. The food was unbelievable! Everything we selected for our reception and dinner was fresh and delicious. The staff was great, friendly and very helpful. The waitstaff at our wedding were professional, courteous and attentive. We never felt rushed at any point, and everything went very smoothly. We couldn’t think of anything that could have gone better! Eileen was amazing to work with on our wedding! She was friendly, very professional, and straightforward with us from the get-go which we truly appreciated. With her creativity and insightful suggestions and recommendations, we had a beautiful ceremony and dinner. Each step of the way she made sure to touch base with us, and answer any of our questions. She was so helpful, and made this daunting process much less stressful. We also did a tasting of some of our dinner selections which was a great (and delicious!) suggestion. She helped us with the color scheme for our dinner tables, adding a few touches like candles which added to the setting. We couldn’t thank Eileen enough for all her help throughout this process, and would highly recommend her!

My husband Brian and I got married here in November 2017. Our wedding coordinator Eileen, the staff, Sue, and Janice made our special day very special. Eileen helped us every step of the way planning the ceremony, reception, favors, and breakfast the next day. She suggested vendors that fit our personalities and this was so helpful since we were coming from out of town. She helped us plan the decor in the conservatory which made for the most beautiful space for the ceremony. The reception was gorgeous and so fun we lost track of time. The menu we chose was very specific to suit many diets and they accommodated everything we asked for. Excellent carving station and our guests raved about the potatoes!! She takes the stress away the day of the wedding and takes care of all the details that would have made us crazy. My family wishes we lived closer so we could have all our events at Ethan Allen Hotel. We will never forget everything you did for us. We are forever grateful. Love you Eileen and thank you

I got engaged on Christmas 2016, not long after we began the hunt of a venue. We knew we wanted a wedding during the cool months which meant off season. We also knew we did not want a huge wedding because we wanted to enjoy ourselves. Countless venues wanted a minimum headcount of 130-150 which is not what we were going for. Then my mom reminded me of Ethan Allen Hotel. Ethan Allen Hotel was so accommodating in terms of the size of wedding we wanted.We had gone to a bridal shower or two and we absolutely loved it there. So we called up and reached Eileen. What. A. Saint. She was so helpful with everything from food selections to giving us several tours of the grounds. She helped with our visions of everything and had amazing suggestions. The food is incredible, from appetizers to dessert you will not be disappointed. The wait staff are all fantastic and kind as well. The rooms are gorgeous and very clean. Should you be fortunate to have Ethan Allen Hotel have your date available jump on it immediately!! xoxox

The Ethan Allen Hotel was the perfect place for our wedding. After reviewing a few other options, we decided on Ethan Allen because of the price, staff, and proximity of the venue. I can safely say this was an excellent decision. We had several meetings with Eileen who helped us through every step of the process. Our big day went off without a hitch thanks to Eileen! Every single person we’ve talked to has said it was one of the best weddings they’ve been to. From the gorgeous scenery in the courtyard to the table settings and banquet room, every single thing was exactly how we imagined it. The food, drinks, and cake were all amazing. The staff was friendly and incredibly helpful. I cannot recommend The Ethan Allen enough, thank you to all who helped make our day the best day of our lives! If you’re looking for a venue then you should absolutely take a hard look at Ethan Allen!

I had my wedding at the Ethan Allen in Sept. 2017 and it was the perfect spot for us. The Ethan Allen is classically sophisticated, while other venues were too "gaudy" or over the top for my groom and I. We had many people driving from out of town, so the hotel was a great bonus for us. Eileen is great to work with - she definitely knows the business, is extremely responsive (even on her days off), and put me at ease during the preparations. She also had several great recommendations for local vendors (DJ, limo, photog). My only downside during the evening was the banquet leader. He was barely around and couldn't be found when the DJ announced the cake cutting and there wasn't a knife or server for us to use. Also, the bottles of wine on the tables weren't replaced when they were empty. These were small points, however, and I wouldn't let them deter you from using the Ethan Allen. It's a great spot and Eileen is very accommodating. My in-laws wanted to do the rehearsal dinner at the Ethan Allen and Eileen made sure that the food and dinner spot were different than that at the wedding itself. We also did a morning-after breakfast and that went off without a hitch. Many of our guests stayed over and the hotel staffed made sure to handout our welcome bags. They also set the centerpieces perfectly. The staff was also kind enough to gather all of the items we brought in and had them ready for us to pick up the next day. I recommend the Ethan Allen without hesitation!

My husband and I got married last month at Ethan Allen hotel! We had looked at many venues before,attempting to find a completely handicap accessible venue as he is paralyzed. Having been to an awesome wedding before at Ethan Allen, we checked it out for our wedding and found not only was it perfect for our wheelchair wedding, but also, so accommodating for our many guests traveling out of state! From the beginning, Eileen was there for us, not only as our wedding liaison but also as our friend! She totally got my vision and brought it life beautifully, all while being accommodating to my husband! The food was amazing, the party was great, the hotel is gorgeous and all of our guests had a wonderful time!! Thank you Ethan Allen hotel and Eileen for the best day ever!!

Eileen really is fantastic! I know all the reviews say that but she responds to emails or calls (even on her days off). Also you can trust her opinion. I was very indecisive and wasn't terribly particular - I just wanted good food and a good party! They delivered! The food was great, it was well organized, and everyone had a blast! Also - highly recommend getting Ben & Jerry's to come - they worked with the Ethan Allen and everyone got both ice cream and cake!

Ethan Allen Hotel was the first venue we looked at to host the most important day of our lives and the last. When walking through the hotel (which is absolutely GORGEOUS) with Eileen we immediately knew this was the place for us. One of the first comments that Eileen made was that she treats every single wedding she does as if it was her own daughter's. I don't know of many other people in the wedding business who would not only say this, but PROVE it! She did just what she said. She went above and beyond, making sure my fiancé and I were happy and comfortable with every decision that was made. She promptly answered countless emails and questions ranging from where to put out the place cards, to organizing the order of events for the reception. Not only is she unbelievable at her job, but an even more amazing person. She truly cares about you as a couple and wants nothing more than to make your wedding day perfect. She was extremely accommodating to my father who has MS and is in a wheel chair. She made sure the aisle was wide enough for him and my mother to walk me down during the ceremony, and provided ample space for him at his reception table. No little detail was overlooked. It is two weeks later and we still have family members and friends telling us our wedding was the best they have ever attended. The food is outstanding and you can't beat the convenience of the venue. We had our ceremony and reception at the Ethan Allen Hotel which worked great since we had a lot of guests from out of state. We didn't have to worry about transferring guests from place to place and one part of the day flowed right into the next. We had 117 people stay at the hotel on the night of the wedding which made for a great after party in the hotel's bar that comes equipped with a DJ! You simply cannot get this anywhere else. There's not ONE thing I would've changed about our wedding day. It was the best day of our lives and we truly cannot thank Eileen, the staff, and chef at the Ethan Allen Hotel enough. BOOK IT!

We celebrated our wedding at the Ethan Allen Hotel in Spring 2017. After researching and seeing many venues local to Fairfield County/Northern Westchester, we loved the idea of having a venue that offered the ease of allowing guests to head straight up to their rooms at the end of the night - plus the property was beautifully renovated over the last two years! Taking everything into consideration (location, pricing, food, service, etc.) and having attended other receptions at the Ethan Allen Hotel, we knew it would be the right choice for us to celebrate our special day. What we didn't realize at first, however, was just how special the wedding coordinator, Eileen, was in helping us organize our reception. From our initial meeting, we knew we were in good hands. Many times in the "wedding process" making decisions, organizing vendors, and ensuring that all is in line can feel like a daunting process. Having Eileen on our team made everything that much easier. She was consistently prompt in her replies, fair in honoring pricing and packages, and always willing to meet in person to go over any questions that arose. Months prior to the event, Eileen allowed us to come in to the restaurant on property with our parents to sample some of the menu options in what was a small, private event. Here, we really got to know Eileen as a person, and she walked us through all the details and even introduced us to the chef. This personal touch truly makes the difference between other venues in the area. Needless to say, on the day of the event we thought the food was great and many of our guests said they truly enjoyed their meals. When it came to working with various vendors around the area, Eileen was often familiar with them and made our decision-making process that much easier. She never rushed us and was always on top of things. The night of the reception, the ballroom was tastefully decorated just how we wanted. We had a breakfast brunch the morning after in the conservatory and it was the icing on the cake - our guests LOVED it and the room is really beautiful and bright. In the end, Eileen and her team at the Ethan Allen gave us a wonderful wedding reception that we will never forget and I know our guests won't either! My husband and I looked at a lot of places to hold our wedding reception. None felt special to me. When I went to the Ethan Allen, I was in love. The Regency was beautiful, the hotel was recently renovated, and we just knew this was the right place for us. Our first visit was unscheduled and it was late at night. The staff accommodated our intrusion with nothing but courtesy. We made an appointment with Eileen to discuss our wedding. I could take over the whole page talking about Eileen, so I will be brief. I could not have asked for a better person to have at my side during the wedding planning process. Eileen Whitney is the most amazing person at her job. We are so grateful to the Ethan Allen for everything that they did to make our day special.

The moment I walked in and met with Eileen, I knew that this was the place! She is so helpful and full of energy and great ideas. What she has done there is amazing and works like a well oiled machine. Every last detail was handled seamlessly, from the food, to the cake, to the set up and vendor recommendations. The staff was professional and friendly and truly wonderful. The guest suites were spacious and comfortable. The food was amazing and the ambiance was classy and elegant. I never even had to think about anything on the day of the reception. I literally just had to show up and look gorgeous. I highly recommend the Ethan Allen Hotel as a wedding venue!

Couldn't be happier with how everything turned out!!

My husband and I were sure we wanted to have our wedding reception at the Ethan Allen Hotel as soon as we met Eileen. We just knew she would make everything run smoothly and work her best to make our special day perfect. We were not disappointed. She made sure we had everything we could possibly need. Our guests absolutely raved about the food (which was phenomenal) as well as about the service from all of the staff. Everyone was willing to go above and beyond and provide any assistance that was necessary, including getting some ice cream to comfort my 2 year-old nephew/ring bearer after he felt and busted open his lip. The cocktail hour space feels more like a home (with the fire place and comfy seating) and since my husband and I were able to attend that it really felt like we got to welcome everyone to a party we were hosting. Eileen gave me and the bridal party the hospitality suite off of the ballroom for the whole day, so we had enough space for make-up and hair to be happening for all 11 of us that needed it (so with 3 hair stylists and 3 make-up artists working at the same time a lot of space was needed). Eileen really makes you feel like you are planning and organizing this event with a friend. All of my vendors (photographer, florist, etc.) were so happy to be able to work with Eileen again. We ended up having 50 hotel rooms used from all of our guests and I had wanted to provide breakfast the next morning for them. Eileen made up tickets that my guests were given when they checked into their hotel rooms that they just had to turn in at Sunday's breakfast and I only paid for how many tickets were turned in. It was perfect, just like everything else on that day.

With recent renovations to the hotel, my number one recommendation is to book early. My daughter's wedding on 12/31/16 was booked in March 2015 to ensure we locked in the date. The property is well appointed. The service was above the norm. There were many highlights but two were especially noteworthy. The Wedding Coordinator, Eileen Whitney, is the ultimate professional. Weddings can be a very stressful event. Eileen took the time before and during the event to ensure everything went as planned. That level of hands-on attention to detail separates her from others. She was a positive presence throughout the day of the event and eased any concerns we had. The other standout highlight for us was the beverage and catering staff. Food -- delicious, beverage service staff -- attentive. I personally met the head chef who took time away from preparing desserts to greet us. Very humble demeanor and excellent at his craft. I still have no idea how they can prepare and serve warm, perfectly prepared meals for 170 people without a hitch. And the desserts -- great presentation and flavor with nothing overly sugary. All in all, an "11" on a scale of 1-10. Many thanks to the whole staff.

I have to say my husband and I looked high and low for the perfect venue to have our wedding and nothing compares to what you get at Ethan Allen for the money you pay. The entire process was so simple. From our first meeting with Eileen prior to the Bridal show that is hosted at Ethan Allen we knew that this was our venue. Eileen is a straight shooter and there is no hidden anything. She lays everything out on the table for you and you can take it or leave it. Well we took it! Our wedding was on 10/15/16 we had the most perfect weather and everything from soup to nuts was great. All of our guests raved about the food and the great time they had. We certainly could not have done it without the help of Eileen and all of the fabulous staff at Ethan Allen. Jason and I thank you so very very much!! We could not have asked for a better wedding reception!

Two years ago we walked into the Ethan Allen and absolutely knew we wanted to get married there, especially after we met Eileen!!!! Whenever I wanted to meet with Eileen to go over details about our wedding, or emailed her with loads of questions, Eileen always took the time out to answer our questions and make us feel important! She really goes out of her way to make sure things are perfect, and adds the little extras to make your day unique! Our wedding day was gorgeous, and I can say it was one of the BEST days of my life!!!! Everything was perfect! Not to mention- the atmosphere, the food, the drinks, the staff, and the rooms are all wonderful!!!!!! Highly and totally recommend the Ethan Allen for any event!!!!! Also, there are many surrounding landscapes that are very pretty for pictures too!

I started our venue search with a detailed spreadsheet with LOTS of venues that looked good to us and offered what we were looking for in our price range. We visited Ethan Allen first... booked it that night without hesitation! Words cannot describe how amazing Ethan Allen Hotel is. The venue is just stunning! However, Eileen and her staff is what makes this place AMAZING! From the very first night we meant Eileen, we knew we wanted to work with her. She has this amazing ability to make you feel comfortable and like you've been friends for ages even though she just met you. Throughout the entire process, she never once made us feel like we were bothering her with our endless list of questions. All her suggestions and recommendations were ON POINT! Ladies and gents, she knows what she's doing! We all deserve a wonderful wedding - and our wedding was absolutely flawless and perfect, thanks to Ethan Allen! I honestly could not have asked for a better day even though it was rainy and gloomy. We have gotten so many compliments on the venue, on the amazing food, and on the fantastic service provided by all the staff at Ethan Allen. We even heard LOTS of compliments on how amazing the rooms are. So many people told us, it was the best wedding they have ever been to. This is long overdue,  our wedding was in May 27 2016 at the Ethan Allen.  One of the best choices we made was switching from a back yard wedding to having the Ethan Allen as my venue. Doing it at home was going to be more work and cost more than choosing a venue.  Eileen was very helpful,  patient and kind throughout the whole process.  Everyone enjoyed the food from cocktail hour to the buffet.  From what I could tell myself, it was delicious. I kind of missed out on the food part,  I didn't have much of an appetite because I was too excited!  The room the bridal party used for prep was the perfect size.  The Ethan Allen was a great venue to have our wedding. A big thank you to Eileen for all her help and guidance!

The Ethan Allen is by far one of the most beautiful venues in Danbury for a wedding or any event really. From our first meeting to the day of, we had a great experience and a wonderful time with our event planner Eileen. Each meeting was better than the last and we truly connected with Eileen. She made our day so memorable and made sure every little detail was exactly how we wanted it. From the food (highly recommend the prime rib) to the cocktail hour and reception it was an amazing experience. Our suite was beautiful and spacious, even the guest rooms were incredible. Everything is clean, well kept, and most importantly stunning! When we arrived at the Ethan Allen after some photos, Eileen met us, as did our bridal attendant and Maître D' and quickly took to any of our needs. Once settled, Eileen brought us into the reception hall (Regency) to see the setup before our guests. The second we walked in, we were stunned at how beautiful the room looked. The uplighting, centerpieces, glassware, and linens were perfectly placed. I could not have imagined it better. Ethan Allen took care of everything for us so that we did not have to worry about a thing. I highly recommend this venue to anyone who wants to trust that their event planner is going to get things done right the first time.

We originally had four venues we were going to see for a wedding reception. Upon meeting Eileen and seeing the ballroom at the Ethan Allen we cancelled our other appointments. My daughter, my husband, her fiance and I all agreed, "This is the place!" It was so easy to work with Eileen, she is very organized, has a great vision, and responds quickly to both email and phone. I could not have asked for a less stressful night. We are still receiving compliments on the food. Everything was done to perfection. You can easily tell that catering large events is an everyday occurrence for the staff and chef here. Everything was handled with ease. If there were any issues as guests we never knew. The cake that came with the package was one of the best I have ever eaten. It came from Home style Bakery in Poughkeepsie, NY . Working with Eileen was a true pleasure!!!!!

The Ethan Allen Hotel was a perfect place to have our wedding reception. From the day we met Eileen, we knew that we wanted to work with the EAH to plan our perfect wedding. She was so responsive, answered all of my questions months in advance of the wedding, and took care of EVERY detail on the day of the wedding including working with our other vendors to make sure everything ran smoothly. My husband is from Wisconsin and we were having a lot of guests travel from far away, but The Ethan Allen conveniently allowed us to block rooms far in advance so that our guests could plan stay. So many guests thanked us for having the reception at the hotel since no transportation logistics were necessary. The cocktail hour was beautiful and the hotel has a great outdoor patio that is perfect for nice weather. There is a lot of natural light and beautiful french doors as you walk out into the courtyard. The cocktail hour was also customized for us with food that wasn't even on the set menu (my husband had his heart set on cheese curds!) and Eileen worked with us to get Wisconsin beer, too. The food was incredible. Everyone loved all of our appetizers and cheese/dip displays during cocktail hour so much that our only complaint is that an hour was hardly enough time to try all of the amazing food! The dinner was similarly amazing with a salad, pesto tortellini appetizer, steak, and a custom cake. Eileen made our menu perfect for us. And the timing of dinner was perfect. Eileen worked with our DJ to make sure that people had time to eat, but were also up and dancing when we were ready for everyone to party. It was also such a weight off our shoulders to drop off all of our wedding decorations, champagne flutes, centerpieces, and wedding favors since we knew Eileen would take care of everything to execute our vision and showing up the day of our wedding to the reception, everything looked perfect and so romantic. Everything was even more beautiful than I imagined. The chandeliers in the reception room were also so regal and our table settings were perfect and exactly what we wanted. Eileen and her staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed all night, including taking all of our stuff up to our room so we didn't have to remember to clean up and grab everything from the reception that belonged to us. They even put some turkey sandwiches in our room so that we could eat before we went to bed (since we were indeed very busy dancing and visiting with guests so taking time to eat was not exactly a priority!). I HIGHLY recommend this venue for your event - you will not regret it! Our guests say it's one of the best weddings they have ever been to! Thanks again to Eileen and all the staff at the EAH for making our wedding so incredible and treating us like family! It was truly unforgettable!

I just recently got married at the Ethan Allen Hotel and they by far exceeded our expectations! Everything was amazing. Eileen and her team made sure my husband and I had everything we needed. Our guests were raving about the service, food, decor, etc and how great everything was. It is a truly amazing venue, but what makes it even better is Eileen. She was excellent from the day we met her until our wedding day. She did not leave until she checked in with us to make sure we were happy. That's all she wanted was us to be happy and went above and beyond to make sure our special day was exactly what we wanted. She is timely with her emails and just overall so sweet that you cannot walk out of that venue with out saying "this is where I am getting married". I don't even know where to start. Don't even bother looking at other venues. Eileen goes above and beyond her job description. She responded to my emails in lightening fast fashion. She eased any anxiety or worries. This was a stress free wedding and I am a type A personality, have anxiety, and have celiac disease. I was probably calmer on my wedding day than I am on a normal day! As mentioned, I have celiac disease (as well as my mother and some family members and friends) and when I first met Eileen she assured me she was "crazy" when it came to allergies and it would be no problem to hold a 100% gluten free wedding. She was the only event coordinator I talked to that knew what eating gluten free actually meant and assured me it would be no problem to hold a 100% gluten free wedding. It was not possible in most other places I went to. They were not willing to take the time to research and find alternatives like Eileen did. When we came for our tasting she assured me about the precautions that Chef Claudio took in the kitchen and the alternative sauces he came up with especially for us. I'm ALWAYS nervous when eating out because I am extremely sensitive. At another meeting Eileen said she was looking up what alcohol was gluten free and then somehow came across that certain olive oils were not gluten free because they put it back in the same barrels that contain gluten....she LITERALLY put herself in a celiac's shoes. I felt so comfortable and confident eating there. I knew there was no way her or Chef Claudio was going to let me get sick. There is now a gluten free menu package! She even got us gluten free muffins at breakfast the next morning that were individually wrapped and there were other gluten free options like eggs, bacon, fruit etc. Eileen would put the same effort into researching alternatives for other allergies as well. Everything was perfect. I am honestly going to miss working with Eileen. It was better than I ever thought my wedding could be. I look forward to holding future events at the Ethan Allen. We started our relationship with Ethan Allen last year for a get together for my son after he got engaged. We continue our relationship with the banquet manager Eileen Whitney for our rehear dinner , hotel accommodations and after wedding brunch. All events where handled as if we where the only clients. Each and every detail was completed to perfection. The food and service was outstanding. The hotel rooms where clean roomy and check in with our guests hotel bags couldn't have been more seamless. After a year long relationship with Eileen I think we have made a life long friend. We would highly recommend this venue for any party/ occasion grand or small. We had our wedding reception at the Ethan Allen Hotel and had a wonderful experience. Their wedding coordinator, Eileen, is great to work with! She truly puts all her effort into each and every wedding she plans and helped guide us in our choices of food, room layout, etc. The little details she thinks of make the world of difference, like having an extra just wine and beer bar at the cocktail hour to avoid long lines at the standard open bar. Our guests were talking about the amazing food the Ethan Allen serves for weeks, especially the very impressive dessert bar. Finally the hotel itself provided a beautiful backdrop for our reception. From the big arched windows to the beautiful chandeliers, it creates a very elegant feel. It was also very convenient to have the hotel rooms and hotel bar for our guests to enjoy following our Saturday evening reception. It felt like we had the entire hotel just for our wedding which was a really fun experience. We definitely recommend the Ethan Allen Hotel for your wedding reception!

Eileen and her team at Ethan Allen Hotel ran my wedding on April 23, 2016. They did such an amazing job that I really don't know where to start. Eileen is absolutely the most amazing person to work with. From the very first time my husband and I met with her, we knew she was something special. Never once did I have any problems or concerns during the planning process. Eileen was always available for last minute meetings, always responded to emails quickly, and kept me sane through this process. She is extremely knowledgable and really values customer service. The day of the wedding, Eileen checked in with me first thing in the morning and was present all day to set up, run us through the day's events and cater to every need myself and my family had. She is truly exceptional at what she does. As for the venue itself, I knew when I walked in that my wedding had to be there. It is beautifully renovated, and the service is phenomenal. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding and it was all possible thanks to Eileen and everyone at Ethan Allen!
